Epic #2 - Story of Sherkarl Kugan s/o God

This is my account. As you all know in my previous episode, i have stated that i am a spoilt kid. Over the years from 1999, i was a thug who just like any other who wanna make a living and to get a NAME so that people will look up to me. Yeah i know you might be wondering...is it really me? Hahaha it is me! Let me just be transparent with you guys. I was raised and brought up with a very tight discipline by my father. And the reason i am hard...working towards my goal is a result of the discipline that my father gave me. I am hard in sense of if i want to get the job done...by all means with or without, i will still do it. Along those years, after getting to know Jesus, i began to grow in Him more severely deep! I was involved in the church back in Penang for almost 9 years i was there. Actively involved in the worship team and also in the youth. Yet at the same time my spiritual life was going down the drain. Dont be surprise of the things that i going to say in just a bit. 

For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

Philippians 1:21

  As i have believed Christ as my Lord and Saviour, I hold my life based on this very verse. But at the same time I was a Christian for namesake. In church serving, but in the world i was indulging in the things of the world. Get myself lost in the world. Doing the things that a youth would do. You know what i mean here. I am a HARD person. I am a steel that cant be broken. A rebellious person. I will fight for a cause which is true and right. This is me. In 2001, God called me to serve His as a fulltime church worker, but i was stubborn and did not yield myself to that calling, instead i made a deal with God... Give me 8 years then i will come and serve You. Yet God was faithful along those years. But whatever and how much money i earn, its all gone with the wind. Dont ask me how, i just dont know. By His grace i pursued my studies.Working in the morning and going to class in the night and finally Graduated with distinction. Started working with a better prospec and salary. My last position i held was an IT Engineer at Intel, Kulim. And somewhere in April 2008, my close friend offered me to join Dell, with a better salary offer. I prayed about it, and things went all perfectly but 1% out of 99.9% screwed up. I dont know what went wrong and the offer was closed to me. I did not get the Job.

  So at that one fine day God encountered me and broke me into pieces, that is when i discovered what does it mean by surrendering you life totally to God. He reminded me of my 8 year contract promises! I was like "oh God. not now...i am still young." He said, "I want to use you now." So with a broken heart with the tears in my eyes... i mourned and i almost lost my mind. I was tired battling with God until one fine day i gave up and give in to His calling. on 23rd (friday)  May 2008, at my cubicle in my office, I heard His voice speaking to me "RESIGN YOUR JOB TODAY ITSELF."  I was like... what??? I cant hear you Lord.... oh my... already i did not get the job in Dell, and now You are asking me to resign this jod... are You crazy or something Lord... this was my exact reaction. Already i am so depressed by not getting thru the job offered by dell, now have to resign... God says "RESIGN YOUR JOB AND PACK YOUR BAGS AND GO TO THE PLACE THAT I AM GOING TO SHOW YOU." I realize that i cant run anymore. So i obeyed His word and do what He has commanded me to.

Total surrender + Total Brokenness = Total Victory.

Surrender to God totally and let God to break you and you will result in victory!

As Jesus gave thanks and broke the bread, it is in the breaking of the bread that brings forth multiplication and miracles

I began to renew my commitment with God. I took a step of faith and step into the fulltime ministry on 1st of June 2008 and till now i really really not regreting of doing it. I should have done it earlier! 

Now the real adveture is about to begin.....

Epic #1 Story of Sherkarl Kugan s/o God

This is the true account. of a spoilt kid. I was born is 21-08-1982. being raised in a Hindu background family, was taught how to pray and every of its traditions. Yet there was a lingering hunger, to know what is Jesus is all about. My Grandma (or as i used to call her goma pyle) She was a catholic married to Hindu. The only reason i celebrated Christmas during my growing age is because it is the birthday of Jesus. To cut the long story short, during my growing up agw, i was know as "THE NOTORIOUS RASCAL", "ROMEO", "MAT BUNGA" "PLAYBOY" "STUBBORN" "HARD HEARTED" "REBELLIOUS"and many more of which i cant remember. This is how i was. So in August 1999, as usual i came back from school, my neighbour told me, your father has been admitted to hospital due to heart attack and that word shocked me. So yeah... I lost my dad... and I celebrated my last birthday with my dad on the 21-08-1999 and God took him on the 25-08-1999. My world that i was dreaming of was shattered and destroyed, coz my dad was my Hero and even till now, The reason i am who i am now...is because all the training and disciplined that i went through under my dad.He used to say this to me "Suffer now and enjoy later." and everything i did anything wrong, He would always ask me to read Luke 15 - the story of a prodigal son - I did not comprehend why is it he asking me to read it... but now i know... He was indirectly telling me that "he loves me so dearly." I accepted Jesus in August 1999, my mum was the last one to accept Jesus. When i said i accept Jesus, it means i did not accept Christianity as my religion. As for the record, I DONT HAVE ANY RELIGION... why? Coz religion is not gonna save me, only Jesus. I did repent and my prayer was this... If You are the true God, therefore let me see your glory in my life. THis was my only prayer that i prayed. The first miracle was my SPM result. As for the record, i was very very very very actively involve in sports, football! Lack of study time and i still remember what my dad always use to tell me when he is pissed off with me " When you grow up, u will be sweeping the drains." Now u know why i mentioned my world was shattered... because my dad was there for me... and when he is no longer there, i was lost until Jesus found me. As days passes by, i grew in the knowledge of God... i grew deeper in His Love. Again I am just a spoilt kid on the block. What you see me outwardly may seem to be differ than the inner man. Outwardly i may be holy moly...inwardly i may be a wicked fellow. I am capable of doing wicked things which u dont know. What matters is how my inward man is now. As i said...i am just a spoilt kid... not spoilt with the things of the world... but i am spoilt because of the Love of God. I am spoilt kid who dont care what people say, but i juz wanna do what i like doing. Why should i pretend to be holy when i am not? Why should i even serve the Lord when i am not worthy of the call? I dun consider my self worthy of living as well. But When He put a bullet on my heart at point blanc, it is no longer i that live, but Christ in me. He said, Be holy for I am holy, You are being perfected in my love now remain in Me. I have qualified you to serve Me. Now..again God spoilt me with His love... so i am spoiling others with His Love. Impart and Impact. What i have receive freely, i give it freely.

"Be Deligent"

What diligent means?

dil·i·gent Adjective /ˈdiləjənt/
Synonyms:adjective: industrious, assiduous, sedulous, studious, painstaking, hard-working, laborious
Having or showing care and conscientiousness in one's work or duties
many caves are located only after a diligent search

So since you have already understood what diligent means... now I would like to point a few scriptures that talks about diligent....

1. In Proverbs 10:4 He who has a slack hand becomes poor, But the hand of the diligent makes rich.
- What it means? well it simply means If i am a lazy bump and lazy to work, lazy to study, lazy to do anything, want to be as lazy as the pig.... so what happens? as a result I will end up poor - lack of food, lack of money, lack of everything, bad shape (may be even stinky - coz never take bath). But the same verse says.... hand of the DILIGENT makes rich - rich $$$$$??? Rich in sense of Good health, got food to eat, got $$$, totally blessed and so on... Which means i must work hard... i must do sumthing to earn $$$, stay in good health. God loves lazy people...but God will NEVER work wit a lazy person.... people who are lazy will be totaly left out from the move of God....

2. In Proverbs 12:24 The hand of the diligent will rule, But the lazy man will be put to forced labor.
- Look at that verse.... i hope you can understand its context. Juz now we saw the hand of diligent makes rich, now the hand of diligent will RULE! It means if i am diligent in every task or work given to me and i do it on time... for sure my boss will love me and like me...coz i finish all my jobs on time, and did not procastinate. And yeah for sure.... promotion is a door step away... from a normal general worker, i will promoted to be a supervisor.... ;) Halleluyah..and yeah if only i am diligent to do my work.....

And Finally.... i have to prove my diligency..... if i am diligent...and so i have to prove it in order to progress in career.... my life... my ministry and so on... in this case..my promotion comes from God ;) as i serve diligently, and prove to God my diligency.... my reward is from God...He will reward me according to what i have done.... ;)

And we have sent with them our brother whom we have often proved diligent in many things, but now much more diligent, because of the great confidence which we have in you. 2 Corinthians 8:22



I choose to be diligent....and to prove my diligency... what about you??

AMBASSADOR

Word of the day is 'AMBASSADORS'

Meaning : An accredited diplomat sent by a country as its official representative to a foreign country.

"Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God." (2 Corinthians 5:20)

The Bible says we are the ambassadors of Christ Jesus. An ambassador is an accredited diplomat sent by his country as its official representative to a foreign country.

An Ambassadors duty is to deliver a message, or to be the spokesmen on behalf of their country or the industry they are involved in.

We are the ambassadors of the Kingdom of God and God has chosen us and placed us here on earth that through us, God can do His work. Through us, people are saved and be reconciled to God once again. We are here to be God's spokesmen, to be His messenger that would go into the world and complete our great commission Matthew 28:18-20. We are His chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light - That we may declare - that Jesus is Lord and Savior of our lives!

The Bible says in Matthew 5:13-14 "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. If is the one who chooses you to be HIS ambassador, so then you are to be HIS salt and light to the world. Be the salt to peoples life; adding in flavour into their lives. And be the vessel of light, that through you the glory of God may shine into people’s life.

As I always say, our ultimate calling as follower of Christ is to be a soul winner. No matter in what ministry you are involved in, make sure the one motive of you ministries is to impart love and impact lives, to touch lives and transform communities.

I am glad that God has chosen me to be His glorified and royal ambassador. I choose to be His ambassador, what about You?

"DOMINION"

Word of the day is "DOMINION".

Psalms 8:6 You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet,

In the book of Genesis, chapter 1 and verse 26, let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. God created the human race by giving us all the power that we need in order to go through our lives until Jesus comes back again!

When He says dominion it simply means to have POWER, to have AUTHORITY and to RULE or REIGN!

Many at times we as a child of God forget His promises. When we are in deep trouble we become an “ambulance” with the red siren on our head running here and there to seek for help and prayer. When we are in situations that we can’t comprehend or understand, or problem, we run to Pastors to seek for prayers.

The Bible says that God had given us the authority over all things and living creatures and also to reign over all things and living creatures.

In Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. When i was reading this passage of this chapter, God opened my eyes and gave me a deep revelation in regard to this verse. Let me explain a little more. We are either Christians since birth or we are born again Christians. The moment we say Yes to Jesus and invite Him into our lives, He is abiding in us, and we are in Him. So when Jesus said to His disciples, “All authority has been given to Me” which means all authority, power, sovereignty has been given to Jesus. And since we have accepted Jesus in our lives, it means the same authority, power, dominion and sovereignty that Jesus has, we also have it! Why? Because Jesus is living in us as well as His authority, power, dominion and sovereignty. Hallelujah!!!

So why we are transforming into an “ambulance” (we are called to transform lives and not to be transformed into ambulance hehehe) when we know that a greater power is in work within usEphesians 3:20 according to the power that works in us,.

The power that I am talking about is the power of the Holy Spirit.

John 16:7-14 He sends His counsellor, His Spirit of truth,

Acts 1:8 But you will receive POWER (Hallelujah!) when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.

Without Holy Spirit we are useless. We need Holy Spirit power to do His work, if not we can’t see any signs and wonders following the preaching and the sharing of His word. If we have Holy Spirit in us, we have the power, authority, dominion and sovereignty. It’s a MUST to have Holy Spirit living in you! If you don’t have, pray and ask God to pour out His Spirit upon you!

I choose to be His people of power! What about You?

Word of the day is “L.O.A.D”

Are You fully LOADed?

As I was praying in my morning devotion, God asked me am I fully LOADed? I was wondering what it means... well He said that I have to Listen, Obey, Apply, Do everything that comes out from HIS mouth.

LISTEN what?

We must learn to listen to His voice.

OBEY what?

Obey to all the commands that He has spoken and laid.

APPLY what?

We have to apply what we have listened and obeyed. Apply it to our life as we walk together with Him daily.

DO what?

We ought to be the doers of His word, not just listen but to do what He says.

I think this explains much.

I choose to be fully L.O.A.Ded. How about you?

The Phone was ringing

me : Hello Lord

Jesus : Oh Hey Hi son,

Me : How have you been Lord? Long time no see...2000 years huh... well hmmm

Jesus : Oh I am doing extremely good...hehehe... yeah 2000 years! Hey u know something? I am coming back soon! Wait for Me and dont do anything stupid!

Me : ermmm when are You coming back again?

Jesus : ermmm u gotta ask My Father! Anyway son... You left so many voice mail... not that i neglected you, but yeah i want you to keep on calling me...coz calling to heaven is free of charge!

Me : :P I tried many lines...even ur private number.... it seems to busy all day long! and yeah finally i got You.

Jesus : well.... Heaven is always busy, coz the devil himself working overtime now days, coz he knew his time is going to end very soon. He's been busy destroying my children's life, family, work, finance and many things. And that is why my sons and daughters are calling me and hey they even invited me to step into their problem party and kick the devil out of that party! You wanna join son??

Me : ermmm...Lord! actually i called You because i have a problem too....

Jesus : I know, i know... but 1st would you want to join with Me to kick the devil out of my sons and daughters lives???

Me : Hmmmm i would like to but how.... i myself in problem....

Jesus : Oh come on Son..... forget about your problem.... get on your knees and pray for my sons and daughters for a prayer of a righteous man avails much!

Me : Alright...but.....

Jesus : no but but but... Just do what I say. 3 things you got to learn.... Listen, Obey and DO. Be the doers of My word and do not just listen.

Me : (there was silence for almost 30 minutes)

Jesus : Heloooowwwwwwwww anybody home? Son are you still on the line?

Me : ehem... yeah here i am...send me!

Jesus : Finally, You know what it means to be my friend.... you are not my servant, but i call u as my friend! Come on lets go and get the devil! And son... always remember this... Do not be afraid, just believe. I will never leave you, nor forsake you coz you are my beloved!
