The devil is trying instill fear in you....

Isaiah 36:13-18 NKJV

Then the Rabshakeh stood and called out with a loud voice in Hebrew, and said, “Hear the words of the great king, the king of Assyria! Thus says the king: ‘Do not let Hezekiah deceive you, for he will not be able to deliver you; nor let Hezekiah make you trust in the Lord , saying, “The Lord will surely deliver us; this city will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.” ’ Do not listen to Hezekiah; for thus says the king of Assyria: ‘Make peace with me by  a present and come out to me; and every one of you eat from his own vine and every one from his own fig tree, and every one of you drink the waters of his own cistern; until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards. Beware lest Hezekiah persuade you, saying, “The Lord will deliver us.” Has any one of the gods of the nations delivered its land from the hand of the king of Assyria?

† Shalom †......! Day #304. Do you know that devil's greatest weapon is to put fear into the hearts of every believer? Let's pray. Father, let not fear destroy our hope and our trust in You. We will not falter and be given to the lies of the devil. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Folks, fear is an active weapon or shall I say the main weapon that the devil uses to attack the mind of every believer. The devil instills the seed of fear into the heart of every believer, fear if this sickness,  fear of taking the next step, fear of failure, and many more. Are you one of them being entangled in the devil's lies? Devil manipulates our mind by inputting negative things, such as our medical report which says that we have a chronic disease and so on. But today, if you are reading this simple devotion, the Lord wants you to know that, there's no any fear that's able conquer you if you are willing to submit to God and trust in Him.

In today's verse we read that how Rabshakeh was threatening the Lord's people, it's almost the same as per what Goliath did. He was ridiculing the Lord's people. He was instilling fear into their mind. He was breaking their spirit. This is what the exact thing the devil does. For example when you try to do something,  for example let's say may be a youth conference, and suddenly you fear whether will any youths attend this conference,  hows the financial going to be, how this how that... Too many questions and you begin to fear. If you are able to subject your thoughts to the Lord, then you shall see greater works of the Lord. When the devil attacks you through fear, begin to use your spiritual weapons and attack him back. If you dont believe, just give it a try. Do live a defeated life in Christ, but live as a conqueror! Gbu!

The highway of holiness and the broadway of destruction...!

Isaiah 35:8-10 NKJV

A highway shall be there, and a road, And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, But it shall  be for others. Whoever walks the road, although a fool, Shall not go astray. No lion shall be there, Nor shall any ravenous beast go up on it; It shall not be found there. But the redeemed shall walk there, And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, And come to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, And sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

† Shalom †......! Day #303. Do you know that there's a highway of Holiness and a Broadway to hell? Let's pray.  Father, let us not walk on the broad path to hell, but make every attempt to walk Narrow way for wide and broad is the way that leads to hell, but narrow is the way that leads to life. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

This is not stairway to heaven, but Highway of Holiness.  As we walk daily with Christ, the requirements God wants from us is be holy for I Am holy. Not many choose to walk in this path, the  highway leading to holiness. In Matthew 7:13-14 NKJV Jesus said, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.  Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it." The path that leads to Life is narrow,  therefore by all means push yourself to walk in that narrow path than walking towards the Broadway to hell. Again I say, not many choose to walk in the narrow path, they want everything in an easy way without a need to work hard, without a need to pay the price. Walking in the path of holiness and righteousness. You cannot be holy and not righteous, and you cannot be righteous and unholy. Righteousness means to be in a right attitude before God, to have a right heart before God, to be true to God. Holiness is to live a life that's blameless before God. Many people think that Holiness has something to do with fighting against sin only. Let me tell you something that will shook you off. The act of being unholy is not just committing adultery, watching pornography, stealing, killing and so on, but also when you PRACTICE PARTIALITY, WHEN YOU BACK STABB2YOUR FELLOW SERVANT, WHEN YOU GOSSIP AROUND, WHEN YOU FEEL UNSATISFIED WITH A CERTAIN PERSON, YELLING AT A person and many more. This are as well as being unholy.

The highway of holiness, even a fool walks in that path, he will never ever go astray nor go out of the path. Although he may be a fool, but there's a hope he sees in that path. But the redeemed shall walk there, And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, And come to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, And sorrow and sighing shall flee away. Even a fool is s redeemed person when he turns back to God.  This highway of holiness is a path for those who really want to get serious with God and with their life and not for those who are still childish, because a child doesn't really understand what is happening so is an adult with a childish attitude, no matter how much you try to advice, correct, yet still he or she will not take heed of it. For them, they want all the easy way, they do not want to push themselves to walk in the narrow road because there's a lot of "traffic lights and traffic jam" but they want a broad way that's spacious and not cramped so that they can move around freely, no one to control them. If you are walking in the broad way... It's time for you to walk at the narrow path, the highway of holiness.

Beware of false prophets...!

Isaiah 32:6-8 NKJV

For the foolish person will speak foolishness, And his heart will work iniquity: To practice ungodliness, To utter error against the Lord , To keep the hungry unsatisfied, And he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail. Also the schemes of the schemer are evil; He devises wicked plans To destroy the poor with lying words, Even when the needy speaks justice. But a generous man devises generous things, And by generosity he shall stand.

† Shalom †......! Day #302. Do you know that in the last days, there will be many false prophets and fake servants of God? Let's pray. Father, in this end of times,  give us Spirit of discernment to differentiate between a true servant of God and the workers of iniquities. Let our Spirit be alert and watchful.  In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Folks, you got to be alert with the schemes of the devil. The devil knows that he has limited time before the world is destroyed so he is doing his everything to deceive and destroy every believers and servants of God. In this last days they devil will come to as a wolf in sheep's clothing, you must be very careful with such tricks. Many false teachers and prophets has been sent to the world for this very purpose, to teach wrong teachings,  to deviate believers from the truth. A very good example, gay marriage teachings and so on, it's written in bible, a man for a woman and it did not say that man shall marry man and woman shall marry a woman. It happened in Sodom amd Gomorrah, yet God had to destroy them. We must be very careful with what we receive and input into our spirit. Do not be misled.

A foolish person will speak out of his foolishness. He will also do miracles of signs and wonders, the truth you must know is that the devil is clever fabricating and doing such miracles as well. Do not be marvelled when you see suchlike things are happening through the false prophets. But a generous man devises generous things, And by generosity he shall stand. But a godly man shall do godly things and he shall stand by what he believes in and in whom he believes in. Matthew 24:24 warns us about such people, so please be aware,  be alert and know the seasons.  God bless you....

Trust not in your ways and plans...!

Isaiah 31:1, 3 NKJV

Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, And  rely on horses, Who trust in chariots because they  are many, And in horsemen because they are very strong, But who do not look to the Holy One of Israel, Nor seek the Lord ! Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; And their horses are flesh, and not spirit. When the Lord stretches out His hand, Both he who helps will fall, And he who is helped will fall down; They all will perish together.

Do you know that many even believers they put their trust on men, on things they see,  on money, on their strength and ability, on their wealth and not on the Lord who gave them all of this? Let's pray.  Father, forgive us for putting our hope and trust on earthly things and not in You. Forgive us for our unbelieve and not trusting You fully. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Many of put hope and trust on the things we see rather than the unseen. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. We haven't had the opportunity to see Jesus face to face or even to be with Him in-person, yet believe Him because of the great and mighty marvelous works and miracles He has done. At the same, we put our trust on the wealth of the world, we put our trust on the philosophies of the world, we put our trust and hopes on human. Let me tell you something,  from genesis until revelation when God gives a man to do something, they rely not on human to get it done though they need them, but they put their full focus, trust and hopes in the Lord alone. God asked Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, at that time Abraham didn't go around looking for help to replace Isaac nor he asked people to help him in that situation to do the will of God instead he obeyed, trusted the Lord and place all his hopes in Him at the end, God provided the sacrificial lamb.

God detest those who trust on the earthly thing. It's written that the Lord said, "Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, And  rely on horses, Who trust in chariots because they  are many, And in horsemen because they are very strong." The Lord's meaning of "woe" is Curse be upon them who do not trust in Him but trust on humans idea's, humans strength,  money and so on. Many of us, when God ask us to do something, or when God has impressed certain things in our hearts or even stirs our heart to do something for Him,  we tend to ask help from human first and not God. If God is the one who calls you to do something, then He shall also provide you all the necessary skills, finance, manpower, and every otjer things that you need to accomplish the task given to you. Let us not lean on our own understanding but in every ways acknowledge the Lord. His plans are higher than our plans, His ways are greater than our ways. I say this because may at times I see servants of God run to and fro in seeking for help to accomplish the things the Lord has entrusted to them, but they forget that their help is from the Lord. Are you in this situation today? It doesn't matter whatever projects you may be involved in, either in church or in work place, seek the Lord's counsel and help 1st, when you call upon Him, He will answer you and give revelations and plans on how to go about doing the things He has entrusted to you.

"But who do not look to the Holy One of Israel, Nor seek the Lord ! Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; And their horses are flesh, and not spirit. When the Lord stretches out His hand, Both he who helps will fall, And he who is helped will fall down; They all will perish together."

A heart that's so far away...!

Isaiah 29:13-14 NKJV

Therefore the Lord said: “Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths And honor Me with their lips, But have removed their hearts far from Me, And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men, Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work Among this people, A marvelous work and a wonder; For the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, And the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.”

† Shalom †......! Day #300. Do you know that many believers draw near to God with their mouths and honor Him with their lips, but their hearts  so far from God? Let's pray. Father, let us be not as a hypocrite honor You with our lips, but our hearts is somewhere far from You. Help us to be true and real with You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Many of us say that "I believe in Jesus, I love God, I do this for God, I do that for God" but little do we realize that everything we do is just a "lip service" unto God and not wholeheartedly. We still can serve yet our heart is somewhere far away from there Lord. We say we serve God, but we expect something in return from God - either blessings or something else. We serve with a wrong motive. Our motivation isn't right before God. Many are just "touch n go" believers,  they come to church on Sundays just to warm the chairs and go back, they didn't receive anything from the word of God, a Christian for name sake.

Now, in order for God to captivate our hearts again, He has to do great and mighty things again so that then our heart will turn to Him and begin to believe in Him. Isn't it a sad situation? We run away from God and God is trying to win back our hearts so that we will not give Him "lip service " but come to Him wholeheartedly. Folks, I don't know what you are going through, but one thing I can assure you is that, when you are gping through hard times, run to God as soon as possible so that your hearts and minds will not be filled with the Devils lies. Never live as a "lip service l" Christian nut be true to God, be real with Him. Gbu.

Do you believe in the Cornerstone... Your sure foundation?

Isaiah 28:16 NKJV

Therefore thus says the Lord God : “Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, A tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; Whoever believes will not act hastily.

† Shalom †...! Day #299. Do you know that God is the one who lays the foundation for everything that you are doing now be it your life, family, work, studies and ministries? Let's pray. Father,  we commit everything we are into Your hands, all of our ministry, our family, our job, our studies. Lord, we pray that teach us to build it from the Foundation which You have laid and grow from there and prosper. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Friends, God has laid the foundation for your life even before you say yes to His call. The foundations has been laid for you and it's time for you to realize that your life is built on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ, our Lord. He has laid His life as a foundation for everything we are today. The ministry we do, God has laid the cornerstone for us to build from there.

A tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; Whoever believes will not act hastily. A cornerstone that's been laid for you and if you believe in that Cornerstone, you shall do great and mighty things because Jesus is your Cornerstone,  He is your firm foundation. A foundation that cannot be shaken. When you, the ministry you do, your studies and job is surrendered fully to God and being built from the truth of His word, you shall see great and mighty works in your life. You shall see His glory upon your life. If you say your trust is Jesus and He is your firm foundation therefore you will never act out or do things in hastiness. Hastily or hastiness is actually the act of insecurity in Christ. You are insecured because you don't put you whole trust in Jesus, our firm foundation.

God has done and still doing marvelous works...!

Isaiah 25:1, 9 NKJV

O Lord , You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, For You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. And it will be said in that day: “Behold, this is our God; We have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the Lord ; We have waited for Him; We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.”

† Shalom †....!  Day #298. Do you know that the Lord our God does great and mighty things for us? Let's pray. Father, we acknowledge that You are the one true living God and there's none like you. You are our Mighty God who does great and mighty works and miracles. We thank You Lord for all Your wonders and miracles in our lives. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

If you still haven't experience the supernatural power of God,  it means you still haven't allow God to work in your life. The moment you say, "here I am Lord, use me"  then you shall witness the power of God in your life. First,  God work in your life, then He will work through your life. If only you are willing to allow Him to work, then you shall see His miracle.

Miracles only happens when you believe. Miracles only happens in your life when you allow God to work in your life and through your life. So tell me what are you waiting for?  Many people asking the same question "why am I not experiencing anything at all, I feel so dry?" The answer is simple, you aren't allowing God to work in your life. If you say that you are allowing, then may be you are doubtful and unbelieve. If you say that you aren't doubtful,  then it means you haven't fully given to God the full control of your life. Obey God, allow God. Do not doubt. He can use anyone. He is irrespective of a person. Do not say that you are not worthy to serve God. Whomever the Lord has cleansed and set free, they are worthy to serve Him. Gbu.
