40 days fasting and prayer ( 3rd March 08 - 11th April 08)
God's word, promises, directions for this year 2008 which was Spoken to me during my 40 days fasting and prayer... this is not a coporate fast, but individual fasting and prayer... and now...i know where is my path heading to... coz God is directing my steps to the path He has prepared for me!
1st day 3rd March - Isaiah 25:12
He will bring down your high fortified walls and lay them low; he will bring them down to the ground, to the very dust.
2nd day 4th March - Isaiah 26:4
Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord, is the Rock eternal.
Jeremiah 17:7
"But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.
3rd day 5th March - Jeremiah 10:2a
This is what the Lord says: "Do not learn the ways of the nations
Jeremiah 10:5 Do not fear them; they can do no harm nor can they do any good.
Isaiah 44:2
This is what the Lord says-- he who made you, who formed you in the womb, and who will help you: Do not be afraid, O Jacob, my servant, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.
4th day 6th March - Jeremiah 11:4c
Obey me and do everything I command you, and you will be my people, and I will be your God.

This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says: In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength
8th day 10th March - Isaiah 32:8,17
But the noble man makes noble plans, and by noble deeds he stands. The fruit of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever.
9th day 11th March - Isaiah 33:2,6
O Lord, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress. He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure.
10th day 12th March - Jeremiah 17:7-8,
"But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."
Jeremiah 17:14 Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise
11th day 13 March - Isaiah 35:4,8
say to those with fearful hearts, "Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you." And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not journey on it; it will be for those who walk in that Way; wicked fools will not go about on it.

13th day 15 March - Isaiah 38:17
Surely it was for my benefit that I suffered such anguish. In your love you kept me from the pit of destruction; you have put all my sins behind your back.
Jeremiah 20:11 But the Lord is with me like a mighty warrior; so my persecutors will stumble and not prevail. They will fail and be thoroughly disgraced; their dishonor will never be forgotten.

And the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken." I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, You are my servant'; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. 17th day 19 March - Isaiah 42:6-7,20
"I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness. You have seen many things, but have paid no attention; your ears are open, but you hear nothing.
18th day 20 March - Isaiah 43:1c-5,10-12c,18-19
"Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I give Egypt for your ransom, Cush and Seba in your stead. Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the Lord, who has compassion on you. no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me," declares the Lord.
32nd day 3rd April - Isaiah 55:3,6,8,11
Give ear and come to me; hear me, that your soul may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David. Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord.so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
33th day 4th April - Isaiah 56:2,7
Blessed is the man who does this, the man who holds it fast, who keeps the Sabbath without desecrating it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil." these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer.Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations."

The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.
38th day 9th April - Isaiah 59:21
"As for me, this is my covenant with them," says the Lord. "My Spirit, who is on you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will not depart from your mouth, or from the mouths of your children, or from the mouths of their descendants from this time on and forever," says the Lord.

"Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
40th day 11th April - Isaiah 61:1,6
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,And you will be called priests of the Lord, you will be named ministers of our God. You will feed on the wealth of nations, and in their riches you will boast.
