Your tongue....be very careful with it...!

Proverbs 18:6-8, 21 NKJV

A fool’s lips enter into contention, And his mouth calls for blows. A fool’s mouth is his destruction, And his lips are the snare of his soul. The words of a talebearer are like tasty trifles, And they go down into the inmost body. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.

Shalom! Day #273. Do you know that our is the smallest member of our body, yet it has the power to destroy and to speak life? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for carelessly speaking out words that's not pleasing unto You. Instead of delivering the message of life, we deliver the message of death and destruction. Lord, that we may be watchful in our speech.  In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Unknowingly we sometimes speaks the wrong word at wrong timing. A person may be in a heartbroken situation, at that time intead of becoming a good encourager, we become the destroyer of his hope. Instead of sowing life, we sow the seeds of death. I can relate this verse to a recent situation I went through. A person, calls himself as a "servant" of God, but went around talking bad about me and about the ministry im involved in and also the whole team. He stabbed us from behind. This happened is because of the spirit of disunity in him and jealousy. He went around poisoning people's mind, a very good "phycologist" I shall say. The words he sowed, was meant destruction to us, but little did he know that in the end he reap the harvest of what he sowed. He was isolated by his own words.

In James 3:5-10 NKJV, itis written that "Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind. But no man can tame the tongue. It  is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so." A man can tame any wild beast, but tongue nope. With the same mout proceeds blessings and songs of praises and with the same mouth we curse people. We must really watchful with our words because a wrongly spoken word can stir up quarrel and fights. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. So folks, beware and be wise when you speak. Don't just somehow carelessly speak your words out because latee you will need to bear the consequences. What you sow is what you will reap.

Allow God to test us...

Proverbs 17:3, 22 NKJV

The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, But the Lord tests the hearts. A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones.

Shalom! Day #272. Do you know that the Lord tests the intention of our hearts? Let's pray.  Father, we give You our hearts, we give You our soul come and have Your ways in us. Search us O Lord, and seek out our hearts. Surround us with Your Spirit and never depart. Let us be transparent before You,  Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The heart, is an important part of our body. The bible says, from there springs the issues of life. When was the last time we had our heart checked by God? Our hearts is tested as silver is refined,  and gold being purified to the finest gold. God tests the intentions of our hearts and everything that's not pleasing unto Him, He purges them all out. Every desires, plans, intentions that's not of God, will never succeed.

The keyword for today is, HEART. A healthy heart is good for the soul and physical body and same goes a healthy spiritual heart ♥ is a cheerful heart, because when God checks our hearts, He   removes everything that's not of Him, and places hope, a brighter future, a promise, a trust and many more according to His will and purposes. A joyful heart is a medicine to others but a sorrowful heart brings discouragement to others and own self. Allow the Spirit of God to work in our hearts. When we are filled with the joy of the Lord we will not just keep the joy in us, but will impart it to others. Amen! So let God to test us as silver and gold is tested so that we will be the finest of His creation, called to serve.a higher purpose, the highest calling of God.

Commit to God everything we do...!

Proverbs 16:1-3, 9 NKJV

The preparations of the heart belong to man, But the answer of the tongue is from the Lord . All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs the spirits. Commit your works to the Lord , And your thoughts will be established. A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.

Shalom! Day #271. Do you know that although we may have many plans to do this and that, to be this person or that, we always fail, to reach it but, when we commit all of our plans and works to the Lord,  He shall establish it? Let's pray. Father, we commit all that we are to You and we pray that You would establish us in Your grace and Your mercy. Let all our steps be directed by You, Lord,  for You are the Director of our lives. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

We as believers,  plan many things. We become the planner for our lives. In this age we must achieve this and that, in this I must get married, we planned everything, but for the plan to become reality, it's all in God's hand. God is the Author and Perfector of our faith and our lives story. If we do not commit all our desires, our plans, our lives, anything we do we will not see it prosper in it. What happens when you commit to God? When God is involved in all you do, in your life, all the plans you have, desires, God will then take it, see to it and He will make it happen and He will make sure the best you will receive from Him. Amen!

We have many thoughts in our mind and prepared plans in our hearts, yet the final word is from God. Without God involved in our plans, we are nothing. We can plan our ways, whatever we want to do, wherever we want to go, whichever work we want to, but God is the one who directs our steps. When we allow God to be the 👑 King 👑 of our lives the Ruler, our Commander, then He shall lead us. I'm not saying that it's going to be a smooth road, but there will be thorns,  pothole, mud, thistle, but it is for our good that God will mould us through every events of our lives. A growing process in the Lord. Amen! Commit to God everything we do and God will prosper it.

Your inside projects your outside....!

As a ring of gold in a swine’s snout, So  is a lovely woman who lacks discretion. He who trusts in his riches will fall, But the righteous will flourish like foliage. The fruit of the righteous is  a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise.

Shalom! Day #270. Do you know that you outward adornment and beauty is nothing compared to what's from within? Let's pray. Father, when You chose David as a king, You didn't see the outward appearance of him, but You saw his heart. Therefore Lord,  let our hearts be right before You as we continue to serve You and walk with You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

For a woman, their beauty is not on the outside but from within. Many guys think that, "oh I must have a beautiful and good looking girlfriend" but they forget to see what's the condition of their heart. People say, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" it's actually in the heart of the beholder. In our spiritual life, both men and women, we tend to look good outside when inside there's still some unsettled business with God.

A gold ring in the swine's snout, doesn't make it look beautiful, it is still the same swine, that lays at the muddy place. A man and a woman whose attitude stinks,  no matter how you look good on the outside, it doesn't make a difference. God sees our heart, the motives of our heart as we follow Him and serve Him. God isn't excited by how we look on the outside, but instead from the inside. Those who trust on their riches, beauty, property will one day come tumbling down. There's no security in the worldly things. Outwardly you may think, I have money,  I am handsome / beautiful,  but little do you know, that one day all this things will just perish. If your inside,  your heart is right before God then, outwardly you will live your life righteously, purposefully, wholly unto God. You inside projects who you are really on the outside.

Wake up from your laziness...!

Proverbs 10:4-5, 22 NKJV

He who has a slack hand becomes poor, But the hand of the diligent makes rich. He who gathers in summer is a wise son; He who sleeps in harvest is  a son who causes shame. The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.

Shalom! Day #269. Do you know that unknowingly we enslaved ourselves to laziness? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for being lazy both spiritually and physically. Although You have given us many opportunities, yet still we are lazy to take the first step. Forgive us Lord for the attitude we have.  Holy Spirit, change us from inside out. Give us a heart burning desire, a passion that continuously flame for You so that we may not be lazy to move, when You ask us to do so. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Laziness is a contagious spirit. It will take host almost on everyone, even I have to admit at time to feel lazy and just want to rest. Folks, we must be aware of this spirit especially when God has called us to do His works. An adult, if you are physically all ok and not disabled,  then you must go to work, go find a work and not just make a living on your parents money and property.  It's a disgrace to your parents, don't you feel ashamed of it? Having being enabled,  in good health yet we demand things way our expectations and unless we get it we won't work? Come on folks, many people started low, and as they are faithful with God, He will prosper and bless them.

In today's verse, we are learning about the spirit of laziness. How to cultivate the spirit of diligence and shun laziness away? Be it in the ministry or your personal life and work,  do not be lazy. The bible says that such people is a sluggard. We must cultivate the habits of doing thing without procrastinating, having a habit that doing things without waiting for orders or being told,  it means taking initiative to do something. Do not live on you parents money unless you are disabled, even the disabled ones do something to earn for a living, what about us who are so well and healthy? Think about it folks, the Bible says learn from the ant's, although their are the smallest of all, yet they work to store food in time of need. Get yourself activated, and be not slumber. Wake up O sleeper. Humans aren't robots but we are created so that we can move all the mechanism in out body. If we do move we don't sweat. If we don't sweat then all the toxins will not be discharged. Then what happens? Of course we will fall sick,  then die. Eat and sleep, eat and sleep, eat and sleep. Is this the kind of life you want? We only have one life, do something,  live it purposefully.

Things done in secret will somehow surface one day...!

Proverbs 9:13-18 NKJV

A foolish woman is clamorous; She  is simple, and knows nothing. For she sits at the door of her house, On a seat by the highest places of the city, To call to those who pass by, Who go straight on their way: “Whoever  is simple, let him turn in here”; And as  for him who lacks understanding, she says to him, “Stolen water is sweet, And bread eaten in secret is pleasant.” But he does not know that the dead are there, That her guests are in the depths of hell.

Shalom! Day #268. Do you know that things done in the secret may seems to be pleasant and good to your eyes, but it's actually leading to death, the depths of hell? Let's pray. Father, we come to You today, let us be filled with Your wisdom and understanding that we may know Your ways and truth. Let Your truth be in us so that we may not be diverted neither to the right nor to the left. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Whatever things we do in the secret will one day surface to the light and when people get to know about it, it's already too late to rectify it. Every step we take in our life, be it in career,  or in ministry, make sure we are doing the right thing. This proverbs not only speaking about a foolish, but a foolish man as well. Many are spiritually "a foolish woman" be it man or woman.

In today's verse we going to study a couple of things here. The word "clamorous" means a lot of noise or the Hebrew word is "Hamah" which means to murmur, growl, roar, cry aloud, to stir up something. A person who is spiritually "a foolish woman" be it man or woman, they talk as though they know everything but the fact is, they have nothing in their head. The create such a commotion and chaos, but there's nothing. Such people the lure those who are simple in spirit, those whose foundation isn't strong in the Lord and they fall into the trap. The devil has been actively doing this filthy work since the beginning till to this date. Stolen water is sweet, of course,  whatever you do and you have to come out with a single penny, is good, sweet and so on, but do you know that's a sin? A foolish person would do anything just to look good, look knowledgeable, but the fact is you've built up your personality on a foolish ground and it's about to collapsed. Bread eaten in secret is pleasant but do you know the effects of it? Whatever you do in secret, it will hit you back one day and when it hits you, the impact will be more terrifying than you can ever imagine. So folks, let your life be transparent before God. Be built strong on the foundation of God's truth. Let not your feet be diverted to the left or the right as you walk with God. God bless you.

Lead by the wisdom of God...!

Proverbs 8:11-19, 35 NKJV

For wisdom is better than rubies, And all the things one may desire cannot be compared with her. “I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, And find out knowledge and discretion. The fear of the Lord  is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate. Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom; I am understanding, I have strength. By me kings reign, And rulers decree justice. By me princes rule, and nobles, All the judges of the earth. I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me. Riches and honor are with me, Enduring riches and righteousness. My fruit is better than gold, yes, than fine gold, And my revenue than choice silver. For whoever finds me finds life, And obtains favor from the Lord ;

Shalom! Day #267. Do you know that every Christian leadership, lead by the wisdom and understanding from God? Let's pray. Father, we pray that You will pour down Your wisdom, knowledge and understanding to us as we continue to walk in You. Let us not lean on our own understanding, but every ways acknowledging that You are God. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

During the old testament times, Kings will look up to prophets for spiritual guidance and advices to rule a nation. Without a word from God they will not do anything,  a few of them was King David, king Jehoshapht, Hezekiah. In everything they do, they needed the Lord's intervention. Sad to say, that in this new generation there's not one who seeks the counsel of God as they rule. We being appointed by God as leaders must seek the counsel of God to lead. If we use our own intellectual and intelligence to lead, we will fail but if God is involved and you lead according to His ways and commands, you will see success and everything you do shall prosper.

Prideful people find it very hard to abide to this. Little do they know that pride goes before destruction. Even they knowing the truth, yet they still refuse to abide to it because of their pride, the attitude of "I can do anything and everything,  I know how to do everything." If you despise wisdom and understanding of God, whatever you do will never prosper. If you are lack of wisdom, ask from God and He gives it freely. For whoever finds wisdom finds life, And obtains favor from the Lord and those who seek wisdom diligently will find wisdom. You need wisdom in leadership, why? Because people will look up to you for a godly leadership so that they can be sure of whenever they need help in certain matter, they can come to you for counseling. God has ordained me both the department of a king and a priest,  a kingly priesthood.  So I lead as a king by example, I serve as a priest in matters concerning to spiritual living. Both king and priest have their own duty to do. As a king, you need wisdom to take dominion and rule over the nation and as a priest, you are to make sure that the people are being lead in the right path. As we see it, the kingly priesthood must take dominion over the spiritual atmosphere of their territory. They must have wisdom to rule as well as to be sensitive to the voice of God and the leading of the Holy Spirit. Amen!

Beware of the harlot in the ministry...!

Proverbs 7:6-11, 21-25 NKJV

For at the window of my house I looked through my lattice, And saw among the simple, I perceived among the youths, A young man devoid of understanding, Passing along the street near her corner; And he took the path to her house In the twilight, in the evening, In the black and dark night. And there a woman met him, With the attire of a harlot, and a crafty heart. She was loud and rebellious, Her feet would not stay at home. With her enticing speech she caused him to yield, With her flattering lips she seduced him. Immediately he went after her, as an ox goes to the slaughter, Or as a fool to the correction of the stocks, Till an arrow struck his liver. As a bird hastens to the snare, He did not know it would  cost his life. Now therefore, listen to me, my children; Pay attention to the words of my mouth: Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways, Do not stray into her paths;

Shalom! Day #266. Do you know that there's harlots in the ministry lurking you with sweet speech and leading you astray, leading to sin, leading to be slayed? Let's pray.  Father, give us an alert and sensitive spirit to discern every false spirit and misleading spirit. Let Your truth to be the foundation on which we are built so that we will be watchful and alert. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Friends, In the ministry there's harlots who will misled us. You must be very careful to discern and be alerted by this. This harlot, the ways to her house may seem to be good, smooth, but be aware that the road is leading to death once you are being trapped by it, you will not be able to come out because your mind has been clouded with the harlots sweet talk, lies and deception,  unless and until God rescues us from there. This harlot main target is the youths, those who aren't strong and firm the Truth of God who can be easily trapped and deceived. A young man and woman who lack of spiritual understanding in the Lord.

Now, allow me to share a real life testimony. As you know, I am involved in TFGM, a ministry that's catered for the youths to win, discipled, and to establish them in ministry through Word and Worship and many has been added into the kingdom of God. So now, all this while there's been good unity amongst the churches that TFGM is working with, but suddenly now the devil became more aggressive, and what he is doing now is to trap the young ones, the youths with lack of spiritual understanding and deceive them, through self-pity,  through lies, through sweet talk, through creating a scene and blaming others for creating disunity and discord. This person doesn't realize that the devil is actively using him as a vessel to bring chaos amongst the churches, youths and ministry. There's enemy in the camp, beware! As for me I don't have to prove anything,  but let the fruits of the ministry to speak out loud and clear to everyone. My duty is to prevent every youths from walking towards to harlot's house. The Lord says, " Now therefore, listen to me, my children; Pay attention to the words of my mouth: Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways, Do not stray into her paths;" Amen... A promising word from God.

The man with the spirit of division...!

Proverbs 6:12-15 NKJV

A worthless person, a wicked man, Walks with a perverse mouth; He winks with his eyes, He shuffles his feet, He points with his fingers; Perversity is in his heart, He devises evil continually, He sows discord. Therefore his calamity shall come suddenly; Suddenly he shall be broken without remedy.

Shalom! Day #265. Do you know that a prideful will never see his wrong but point his or her fingers to others and blame them for every wrong?  Let's pray. Father, You are a Lord that humbles the prideful. We pray, that everyone who serves You will serve in humbleness. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

A worthless person, a prideful person will always find a reason to blame others for every wrong he or she has done and to cover it up, they need a scape goat for it be blamed. I have come across such people and even now, a person is against me for the works I do, I believe that God is really cooking up something in the spiritual realm. Why this person being so restless with the ministry works I'm doing, it's simple.... Because this person isn't allowing God to teach, rebuke, rebuilt them. For them, they use their intelligence and intellectual to serve God, but God says, in every ways acknowledge Me, do not lean on your own understanding. People who are using their head to serve God is as good as not to serve.

Today, as I was reading this verse, God reminded me once again to be very careful with everything say and I do. Do not be a worthless person in the ministry.  God cannot use us if we continue to stab one another with perverse speech. Perversity is in his heart, He devises evil continually, He sows discord. Therefore his calamity shall come suddenly; Suddenly he shall be broken without remedy. His destruction will come suddenly without any warning. He has a spirit that brings disunity and division into the body of Christ. Beware of such person and have nothing to do with them.

Eyes of the Lord is watching at us...!

Proverbs 5:21 NKJV

For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord , And He ponders all his paths.

Shalom! Day #264. Do you know that the Lord knows ever single step you take, every ways you are walking in, be it wicked ways or in the righteous path? Let's pray. Father,  let Your eyes to continuously be upon us. Lead not into temptations but deliver us from the evil ones. Let us not walk in the path of the wicked, but in every ways, pleasing You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

God knows every ways we take as we walk this life with Jesus, we may tend to take many shortcuts which aren't pleasing unto God. Yet, God will not force you. All our ways, our life is all before the Lord and God is looking at it one by one. Are we walking according to His ways? We always say that "I did it my way." But for the fact it is God who has enabled us to do so.

God looks at all of our ways and He ponders at all of our ways. He ponders, He thinks,  He analyzes why we are going through wrong ways. Are all our ways are according to His ways? God is looking at us today, since day one we are on earth. Live your life purposefully and live it accordingly to His ways and His words. His ways are made perfect in our lives as we walk this life with Him. Amen!

Let your heart keep His commands...!

Proverbs 3:1-2, 5-6, 11-12, 26 NKJV

My son, do not forget my law, But let your heart keep my commands; For length of days and long life And peace they will add to you. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord , Nor detest His correction; For whom the Lord loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in  whom he delights. For the Lord will be your confidence, And will keep your foot from being caught.

Shalom! Day #263. Do you know that length of days and peace is added to your life when you trust and obey the Lord and His commandments? Let's pray. Father, we pray that You would create a heart of obedience,  a heart of longing to be disciplined and be discipled. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The first this is, Let the commandments of God be in your heart and live by it for you will see long life and peace. But if you depart from it, then it's the reverse of what you will see.

Secondly, lean not on your own understanding but in all your ways, trust in the Lord, and acknowledge Him in every step you take in your life. God directs your path to success and victory. If we try to do it on our own, surely and most assuredly I say to you that we will see failure and disappointment. Yes, I know that you can do everything, maybe you are "superman" but hey even superman needed Jor El's advice and guidance, this is just a TV series, but I'm talking about our real life. God is interested in your life, now tell me what you going to do about it?

Thirdly,  do not despise the discipline of God. If God is doing something in your life now, if you are feeling like you are being broken in every area of your life, and you are trying your best to get out of it, hey listen, better don't. Allow God to work in your life, allow Him prune everything that would hinder you from growing spiritually and to be the man and woman God intended you to be. The disciplines of God is made perfect in love, because He loves you that's the reason He disciplines you. You should know this truth THAT THE LORD TAKES DELIGHT IN YOU when you submit yourself to Him to be trained, discipled and chastened.

Finally,  the Lord is your confidence. If you are lack of confidence, come to God for He is your source of confidence. He gives you the courage you need, all you have to do is be desperate for Him, hunger for more of the Holy Spirit,  let your soul long for more of Him. Amen!

You will understand the fear of the Lord...!

Proverbs 2:5-6, 20 NKJV

Then you will understand the fear of the Lord , And find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding; So you may walk in the way of goodness, And keep to the paths of righteousness.

Shalom! Day #262. Do you know that the wisdom of God, will make you to understand the things of God as well as keeping you away from the ways of the wickedness? Let's pray. Father, we ask You that You would give us Your wisdom and understanding to understand Your plans for us and to walk in Your ways. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and understanding. This fear speaks not about you being afraid of God and so on but to humble ourselves before the Lord in respect and honor. So where comes wisdom and understanding? Wisdom and understanding comes to you when you humble yourselves before the Lord. The Lord gives it freely for those who humble themselves and seek the Lord wholeheartedly.

Once you've understand the fear of God, then you would comprehend the knowledge of God, the plans of God and the will of God for your life. The Lord is near to those who seek Him...!

Psalms 145:3-4, 18-19 NKJV

Great is the Lord , and greatly to be praised; And His greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise Your works to another, And shall declare Your mighty acts. The Lord  is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them.

Shalom! Day #261. Do you know that the Lord is near to those who sincerely and wholeheartedly seeks Him? Let's pray. Father, as we continue to seek You wholeheartedly, let Your presence to dwell in us and surround us with Your glory and Your presence. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The bible says, draw near to God and He shall draw near to Him. God always expects us to take the first move, before even we can experience miracles. There's always a step of faith that we must take first. It is us that wants a touch from, so it is us that must take first step to seek the Lord and to draw near to Him. The Lord is near to those who seek Him wholeheartedly, truthfully, and diligently. Not just seeking Him in times of trouble but it becomes your lifestyle. For you to witness the wondrous and mighty works of God, then you must have a personal relationship with the Lord, whereby you are sensitive to His voice and His move. You draw near to God, not just to seek Him but also to build your relationship with the Lord. To have a strong bond with the Lord. The bible says that, who can separate us from the love of God? The reason God wants us to draw to Him so that we can taste and see the goodness of God and His unfailing love to us.

Today, we see in this verse, the key to every answered prayers is this when you call up the Lord in truthfulness, wholeheartedly, sincerely, then He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them. Jeremiah 33:3 says, CALL UNTO ME....when you call upon the Lord and draw close to Him, He will not just answer you but He will also show to you the great and mighty things you haven't heard of and seen. Amen! Let this be our prayer today that we would say, "Lord, draw me close to You and never let me go."

Your life is a gift from God...!

Psalms 139:13-16, 23-24 NKJV

For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as  yet  there  were none of them. Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there  is  any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.

Shalom! Day #260. Do you know that God has given His full attention in creating you? Let's pray. Father, we thank You for You have fearfully and wonderfully made us. We thank You for all the precious time that You have invested in creating me. I'm Yours and I'm belongs to You for You are Potter and we are the clay, mould us and make us, this is what we pray.  In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Folks, never be fooled by the devil that you are not precious, you are useless, there's nothing good in you and so on. In this verse it says, that you were fearfully and wonderfully made. God put all His attention and all His in creating you. The bible says that we are created in the image of God. You were made in the secret place, therefore if you want to be created anew, get back to your secret where God can build you, create you, give you a new breath and you become alive once again.

In today's verse, there's a truth that we going to look into and it is God has seen our future, He holds our future and He knows what we would become. Before we were created, He already knew how we would look like. He already planned our future. He already knew how would our frame be like. He knows everything about us. Our future can go wrong, when we choose the wrong path. Everything about us has been written in His book. Every events that happens in your life is like a thread that's been woven together into a beautiful masterpiece. You are the Master's piece. Appreciate your life and live it purposefully for God. You are His creation.

The Lord regards the lowly...!

Psalms 138:6-7 NKJV

Though the Lord  is on high, Yet He regards the lowly; But the proud He knows from afar. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me.

Shalom! Day  #259. Do you know that the Lord doesn't treat the poor in one way and the rich in other way? Let's pray. Father, we know that You are a just God, who do not take sides, and do not practice partiality. You are the Lord who upholds justice. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

I'm proud to say that,  I serve a God who irrespective of person. Everyone, rich or poor are same in His eyes. Just because a person is rich, it doesn't mean he or she has the VIP treatment same goes to the poor. Yet the Lord is the Defender of the poor from the prideful rich people. Your money cannot buy God. Though the Lord is on high, yet He regards the lowly, those who humble themselves, those who seek Him wholeheartedly.

In today's verse, we can see one of many other characters of God. Yet God is high, yet He remembers the lowly, He regards the lowly, He protects the lowly. Though they walk in the midst of trouble, He will revive them; meaning to say that, even though they are going through a series of difficulties, troubled times in their lives and it will eventually break their spirit, their enthusiasm to live, the Lord will encounter them and revive them. He will stretch out His hand Against the wrath of our enemies, And His right hand will save us. Even when people are against the things we are doing for God, against the works we are doing, or even if they are trying to pull us down, to attack us, the Lord is there to save us. The salvation of God is for sure. Do not repay evil with evil, but do good and let God to take care of the rest.

United we stand, divided we fall...!

Psalms 133:1-3 NKJV

Behold, how good and how pleasant it  is For brethren to dwell together in unity! It  is like the precious oil upon the head, Running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments. It  is like the dew of Hermon, Descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the Lord commanded the blessing— Life forevermore.

Shalom! Day #258. Do you know that the devil works in many ways and one of it is to break the unity amongst the brethren, church, and believers? Let's pray. Father, let us not give the devil an inch of space for him to come and steal, kill and destroy the unity we have in You. Let Your love binds us and keep us together. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Today, I'm going to share on unity. The bible says in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, 12 NKJV Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who  is alone when he falls, For he  has no one to help him up. Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken. In a ministry team, unity is important. Trust, loyalty, unity and team work. The devil's main focus is to break the unity amongst the brethren. The devil himself is known as the accuser of the brethren. Only when the body of Christ comes in unity, then we will experience revival. The devil hates unity.

Friends, we must preserve unity to see better growth of the church, the ministry team, amongst the believers. The devil may try many things and in many ways to break that unity, but a three fold cord is not quickly broken. United we stand, divided we fall. Even, when sometimes a leader of the church or may be a youth leader or even the ministry team leader corrects one of their member, they begin to take it wrongly and unknowingly they are allowing the devil to step in and steal, kill and destroy the unity. Beware of the devils schemes. In this last days, the churches must be united not looking from whichever denominations they are from, but united together for a greater purpose, to see revival taking place every where. Amen! Stand strong, stand firm!

Everything is in vain if Jesus isn't involved...!

Psalms 127:1 NKJV

Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain.

Shalom! Day #257. Do you know that without God's intervention in anything you do, it's all just in vain? Let's pray. Father, we commit all our works, ministry, family and studies into Your hands. We invite You to be involved in every area of our lives. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Folks, Jesus said "...for without Me, you can do nothing..." In whatever you are doing to for the Lord, if God isn't involved in it, you are doing it in vain. If you read the account regarding the wedding in Canaan, Jesus was invited, but He wasn't involved in it. But, when they were out of wine, Mary, earthly mother of Jesus, said please do something about it because there's no more wine (ok I paraphrased it). Jesus replied to her, it's not My time yet. After hearing it, Mary told to the servants DO AS HE SAYS. You see friends, Jesus wasn't involved until He was asked to be involved. It is same to us as well. We do invite Jesus into our lives, but are allowing Him to do the required work in our lives? To change us from inside out? To have an effective and affective ministry? In a ministry, signs and wonders happens when Jesus is involved, but if we are trying all our might to do this and that in ministry, then there's no any power in it, there's no point in it, sheer vain.

Everything we do is useless if God isn't involved, it is all in vain whatever you are doing. We say we do this and that, but little do we know that we are doing just to have a name and fame, for our self-glorification and self-satisfaction because Jesus isn't there and is not involved. Jesus must be involved in everything you are doing, building, working, then you will be fruitful. When Jesus is there and He is involved, then you will witness a supernatural power of God, signs and wonders shall follow you and not you run after signs and wonders. Amen!

You are like a mountain that cannot be moved....!

Psalms 125:1-2 NKJV

Those who trust in the Lord Are like Mount Zion, Which cannot be moved, but abides forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the Lord surrounds His people From this time forth and forever.

Shalom! Day #256. Do you know that your faith in God makes you to stand strong and stand firm in every seasons of your life as well as in every difficult and troubled times? Let's pray. Father, let Your presence continue to surround us in every season's of our life. Let us continue to stand strong and stand firm in You as we face reality of our lives for You are our strength. In Jesus name we ask and pray,  amen!

I'm going through some situations who nobody will ever want it, a problem, personal problem and at the same time we are organizing a Youth Revival Service. Each time we organize it, the devil always tries to stop us. Me, being the chairman of this organizing committee, I face some unthinkable dangers. In our Previous youth revival service, I was driving the church van to fetch people to the service, suddenly the van burned and thank God I am saved. Not only this, the devil would work through a person who is close to me. Every time the same problem from the same person. They just don't see it, but I know it is the devil at work. I continue to stand strong and stand firm in the Lord, because my trust is in God.

As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the Lord surrounds His people. This means God surrounds me and I am in the God built fortress where the enemies will never be able to penetrate. God is my fortress. This is the reason I'm standing strong knowing that my God is there for me. Whenever the enemy attacks me, I don't run like a coward, but I stand with my God and fight it. Not fighting with flesh, but fighting the power and the principalities of the darkness and the ruler of darkness. Everyday is a spiritual warfare,  be prepared because the devil doesn't play fair. He will use anyone,  anything at anytime to attack you. How are you going to respond to it? What u do is wage far in the spiritual realm against the devil. I fast and pray and I see the salvation of God. Amen!

The Lord does not sleeps nor slumbers...!

Psalms 121:1-8 NKJV

I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord , Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord  is your keeper; The Lord  is  your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore.

Shalom! Day #255. Do you know that God does not sleeps nor slumbers? Let's pray. Father, since the beginning to this day, You have been faithfully watching us, protecting us, keeping us, helping us and many more. You are the only one who is wide awaken through out our lives and You know every single thing about us. When we are asleep, You are wide awake. When we are awaken You are still there watching over us. Thank You Jesus. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

We serve and believe in a God that's never slumber and sleeps. He is wide awaken and watches over us 24/7. When we sleep, He is awake. When we are awake, He is still there. The Lord is all we need in this present life and after life. To live on this earth,  you need Jesus.  After you die, to go to heaven, you need Jesus. After going to heaven, you still need Jesus! Amen! Friends and my beloved, as we allow and acknowledge God in our lives,  I every step we take and in every move we make, He will not allow your foot to be moved.

Today, we see many believers run to and fro in seeking for help and security,  but they forget that God is the Author of all this. This verse is again teaching who God is and what He is able to do and even doing right now for you and me as I share this profound truth to everyone of us. Even as I share, Jesus is actively touching many lives and setting them free from every forms of the devils schemes. Jesus is actively interceding for you since day one till now, that your faith may not falter but to stand strong and stand firm in Him. Psalms 121:1-8 NKJV

Never let your trust in God to fade away...!

Psalms 118:5-6, 8, 13-14 NKJV

I called on the Lord in distress; The Lord answered me and  set me in a broad place. The Lord  is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? It  is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in man. You pushed me violently, that I might fall, But the Lord helped me. The Lord  is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation.

Shalom! Day #254. Do you know that when your trust is in the Lord, whatever man tries to do to you will never prosper? Let's pray. Father, we put all of our trust in You for only You are able to create miracles in every impossibilities. Even when man tries to push me that I might fall, Your hands are there to lift me up. Thank You Jesus for being our Help and Confidence. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Friends, Blessed day to my readers. Again, God is reminding us today to put all our trust and hope in the Lord and not human. When you are in distressed, compressed, pressured, totally lost or even some people just like to nag nag nag and nag at you. Some people, their mouth is like a revolver firing bullets at you. Some people they're just waiting to get you at your weakest point and use it against you. Some people just love to persecute you and use you. It doesn't matter what they do... Keep on smiling,  lift up your hands, and say HALLELUJAHHHHHHHHHH PRAISE THE LORD because your hope and confidence is in the Lord. When you call upon Him, He is always there to help you. He acts faster than any of your friends and families. But hey please, I plead with you, do not make God as your ambulance. Only when emergency you seek Him and His help, please don't.

Today, we will study this verse and see what we can learn from it.

1. When you are in God's side, then God is also on your side.
- You cannot be on the enemies side and expect God to be on your side. When you are on God's side, He is also with you when you step into the enemies territory. This verse, "The Lord  is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?" Yes, you read it right. When you abide in God, and God abides in You, tye bible says that greater is He that's in you the is he that's in the world. Amen! Is the a reason for you to fear the world, to face reality?

2. It  is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in man.
- Where your trust and hope is today? The fact is human always fails us, yet God is always there for us. Even if you wake up late nite and ask God for help, He will help you. He is available 24/7 for you. When you ask God for help, or His counsel, He will never turn you down. When you ask Him for bread, He will not give you a snake to eat.

3. You pushed me violently, that I might fall, But the Lord helped me.
- The Lord  is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation. People may tend to push you, provoke you to anger, they may even devise to make you stumble and fall, but hey Even before you fall, God's hands is there to catch you. Amen!

Continue to stand strong and stand firm in the Lord. Have a steadfast faith and heart in God. GBU!

God is my helpline now and forever...!

Psalms 108:12-13 NKJV

Give us help from trouble, For the help of man is useless. Through God we will do valiantly, For it  is He who shall tread down our enemies.

Shalom! Day #252. Do you know that with God, you can do great and mighty things? Let's pray. Father, You are our portion forever, our strength, our peace and joy. Only in You and through You we are able to do greater exploits, for without You, we are nothing. We acknowledge Your sovereignty and lordship over our lives. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Friends, I would like to remind all of us to remain steadfast in the Lord. It doesn't matter what kind of situation you go through in your life, remain faithful, steadfast and remain focused in the Lord. This is an account of how God has dealt with my live marvelously. Many times when I'm in need of help, I try to get it from those whom I knew, "friends" But at the same time many of them turned me down. When God rebuked me, I repented and begin to look to God as the source of my help, God is my helpline now and forever. So, whenever I'm in need of help, I will look to God, seek Him and He will answer me. There's no plan B for me. Only one plan, the Master's plan. It doesn't means that I seek the Lord only when I'm in need of help, I would rather die than not seeking Him all of my days. One day without God in my life is like a thousand days of hell I feel. Without God, I am nothing.

Today, I would like to share to us a true story from the bible, there's friends of Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. When king Nebuchadnezzar threw them into the fiery furnace, for do not obey his commands to deny their God and bow down to the idols, you know friends, till the very end they did not deny God. This three friends of Daniel was thrown into the fiery furnace, but in the midst of the furnace there was this fourth Man amongst them. No, it's not Daniel, but the Lord Himself was present there to help them. I can relate this same story to the new testament written account. When Jesus and His disciples was on the boat, suddenly a storm came and they were all afraid, but Jesus was sleeping peacefully. This disciples, they were afraid until they uttered "we are going to die." They woke Jesus up, and Jesus rebuked the raging sea and it became calmed. Then He rebuked His disciples "O you of little faith." Wow... I can say, that they were following Jesus wherever He.goes for ministry yet they don't really knew Him. That's the reason the were afraid, although Jesus was present in their midst.

Are we like the disciples or Daniel's three friends? Many come to church to seek God only when they have troubles and problems and when God meet their needs and helps them, after a while they are missing. Do not be a hypocrite Christian. Daniel's three friends, they did not just seek God when they are in trouble,  but even when they were ordered to deny their faith and bow down to the idols they remained steadfast and faithful to God. When they were thrown into the fiery furnace, they still did not deny God, but they stood strong in their faith and God was present in their midst and there wasn't any burned mark on them. Why they were so strong in faith? Because they were not just a normal believer who only seek God in time of trouble, but they had an intimate relationship with God. When God is with us, you can do great and mighty things. Without God we are nothing. Without God in my life, as well as in the ministry that I do, I don't think so that I could have come this far. I am who I am now is because of God who was with me in every step I took in my life. Through God we will do valiantly, For it  is He who shall tread down our enemies. So friends,  where do stand in your faith today?

We are here today and gone tomorrow...!

Psalms 103:1, 15-17 NKJV

Bless the Lord , O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! As  for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes. For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, And its place remembers it no more. But the mercy of the Lord  is from everlasting to everlasting On those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children,

Shalom! Day #251. Do you know that our days are numbered, like a flower for a while we're here then gone? Let's pray. Father, as long as we are still here, alive, use us to do Your will until our very last breath. We are like the flowers quickly fading, here today and gone tomorrow therefore let our lives shine forth Your glory. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Our days are numbered. We live today, we die tomorrow. As long as we live, let us live our lives in the Lord and for the Lord. When we go to see the doctor, they normally give us the bad news first then comes the good news. They would says, "I'm sorry to say that your sickness it at the bla bla bla stage...and you'll not live long." Let me tell you onething, the words of the doctors are not the finality of your life. The word of God is the final answer for your life. Our lives has the expiry date and after that we will be with our Creator for eternity. I've even seen many people who tried committing suicide, but do not succeed because God wants them alive to do His will and not dead.

God has established us in His purposes and has given us a chance to do His will therefore let every minute of our lives we live it for God. Before I was saved, yes, I lived my life carelessly, without a purpose, not knowing what's going to happen tomorrow but when God saved me, He gave me a new hope for living filled with His purposes and a bright future. Yet, again we are here on earth not for eternity but for temporary. This earth and this life isn't our permanent home, we are just passing by, renting it. As long as we live, let us live it purposefully, make an impact in your generation. No one knows when he or she will go into eternity, so while there is still time, repent and live for God. We have one life, do something.

He who has made us and not we ourselves...!

Psalms 100:3-5 NKJV

Know that the Lord , He is God; It  is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We  are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord  is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.

Shalom! Day #250. Do you know that when we are nothing and have nothing, God took us and made us into something? Let's pray. Father, it's not by our strength or power that we gain everything we have today, but by Your Spirit that's brought us through every thin and thick situations of our lives and taught to us many valuable lessons. It is You, who gave us victory and prosperity. We are the workmanship of Your hands. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Many at times I see believers when they have come to a certain point in their life,  they will boast about it saying, "after all this, I have made it an I have come up in my life." But they leave God out of the picture. If God did not allow them, or even enable them to become successful in everything they do, I don't think so they would be able to be who they are now. They forget to give thanks to God. At times of trouble we seek the hand of God for help,  and when we are helped, we forget God. Come on folks, without God we are nothing. If God did not create us, we might even exist here. Not by our might nor our power but by His Spirit.

In a believers life, thanksgiving isn't a days festival before Christmas but it's a lifestyle. In 1 Thessalonians 5:18 it says, in all things give thanks. In today's verse it says, "Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord  is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations." As you begin your day, every morning start it with thanksgiving and praises unto God. Enter into your day with shouts of praises and thanksgiving. Not just to come to church with a heart of thanksgiving, but it should be your lifestyle. Every minute of your life, must be filled with thanksgiving and praises. Even a word "HALLELUJAH" can make alot of difference in your life. It is God who enables us to grow, prosper, be successful and blessed in our lives. Yes, we would say that it is by our own hardwork, and our sweat but DO NOT FORGET, GOD IS THE ONE ENABLES YOU. Amen!

The righteous shall flourish in the garden of God...!

Psalms 92:5-6, 12-15 NKJV

O Lord , how great are Your works! Your thoughts are very deep. A senseless man does not know, Nor does a fool understand this. The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the Lord Shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing, To declare that the Lord is upright; He  is my rock, and there  is no unrighteousness in Him.

Shalom! Day #249. Do you know that when you are planted in the house of God, you will continue to experience growth and produce everlasting fruits in and out of season? Let's pray. Father, we pray that we might be the planting of the Lord, that we may be fruitful and produce everlasting fruits. As we are planted in Your courts, we will continue to experience growth and multiplication in the house of God. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Who can fathom the mind of God or who can be the Lord's advisor? The works of the Lord are too wondrous for us to comprehend, He works in a miraculous ways. The creation of man and the whole universe itself is an unexplainable miracle. But, we being the children's of God, have a privilege to be involved in the works of God. As you read and meditate on His, every of His mighty wondrous works are being written in the Bible and you are a part of it. From Genesis until Revelation till today, the Lord's plan begins with a man or a woman and until to this date God is actively searching for the man and woman who would say "HERE I AM LORD, USE ME!"

When you allow God to work first in your life, He will prune,  cut off every branches that's not bearing fruits, He will water you, He will make sure you get all the nutrients you need as you grow and flourish in the garden of God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing, To declare that the Lord is upright; He  is my rock, and there  is no unrighteousness in Him.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

It shall not come near you...!

Psalms 91:7-8, 10, 14-16 NKJV

A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked. No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will  be  with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.”

Shalom! Day #248. Do you know that although a thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, it shall not come near you? Let's pray. Father, we thank You for the safety and security in You. Thank You for delivering us from the evil one. Thank You for being with us in times of trouble and delivering us out of it. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

If today you are afraid of what people will do to you, do not fret, I have a good news for you. The enemy can plan many things against you, but it shall not come near you. People may be against you and everything you do, but it will not harm you. A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.

Just because you have set your heart right before the Lord, therefore He will stand for you and fight all your enemies. Thus says the Lord, “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will  be  with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation."  With long life you shall continually see the salvation of God and the mighty works of God in your life and through your life. You shall be His witnesses. Trust in the Lord All the time, He know what He is doing and He will never allow you to go through anything more than what you can bare.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

There's no "god" like our God...

Psalms 86:8-12 NKJV

Among the gods there  is none like You, O Lord; Nor are  there  any  works like Your works. All nations whom You have made Shall come and worship before You, O Lord, And shall glorify Your name. For You are great, and do wondrous things; You alone are God. Teach me Your way, O Lord ; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name. I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, And I will glorify Your name forevermore.

Shalom! Day #247. Do you know that among the gods there's none like our God who has risen and live forevermore? Let's pray. Father, we are glad that we serve and believe in a God who has risen from the death and lives forevermore. You are great and do wondrous things,  You alone are God. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Our God reigns forevermore! Yes! I can confidently tell you that there's no any "gods" besides the Lord and God in whom I believe and serve. He has risen from the death and He lives forevermore. Death has no power over Him, for He has conquered both life and death. He holds the keys for life and death. There's no any "god" worthy of praises besides our God. All nations whom You have made Shall come and worship before You, O Lord, And shall glorify Your name. There is none like Him, no one else could touch our hearts like He does. We could search for eternity long, and find there's none like Him.

We serve a great God. For He is great and He does miracles so great, and there's none like Him. Therefore folks, let us know this truth that there is no any other "gods" like our God who lives forevermore and let Him lead us in this path of truth for Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life." Let me tell you one thing, before even other "gods" was created by humans, our God was already there, no one knows His origins. He is the Master and the Creator of all creations. He is our God almighty! He is Jesus who came down to earth in human form and died for our sins and has risen from the death and lives forevermore! Halelujah! Yet, you must beware of many false prophets saying that Messiah is here, I am Messiah and so on. Beware....  Lying prophets are all around...  Fake ministries are merging up... Self satisfying ministry for self gain purpose are sprouting up like mushrooms after the rain.  Beware and know the season... Liars and scoffers are here and there....

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The Lord is our sun and shield...!

Psalms 84:4-5, 10-12 NKJV

Blessed are those who dwell in Your house; They will still be praising You. Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, Whose heart is set on pilgrimage. For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God Than dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the Lord God is  a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly. O Lord of hosts, Blessed is the man who trusts in You!

Shalom! Day #246. Do you know that those who dwell in the Lord are blessed and that they will continue to praise God? Let's pray. Father, we pray that You will take us from strength to strength, from faith to faith and from glory to glory. As we continue to trust in You,  we know that You will never withhold anything good from us. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

From the mountains to the valley, the praises of God shall be heard. Blessed are those who dwells in the house of God. When you dwell in the house of God, you will experience many things. Not just being blessed, but you shall experience God more and more, you will experience His healing power, you shall experience revival and many more and from within your heart whether you are on the mountain top or at the valley, you will shout out of His praises.

In today's verse, it's a simple yet powerful love dedication to the Lord in proclaiming the mighty works of God and who the Lord is. There are no words that's able to describe who God is. Yet, the psalmist is saying that "For the Lord God is  a sun and shield;" Sun, gives light. Jesus is the light of the world and He gives light to us.  He shines forth His glory into our lives so that we may shine forth His glory to this world. And the psalmist go on saying that "The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly." Amen! The also gives grace freely to everyone who calls upon the Lord. It is for love and through grace Christ has set us free and no longer be subjected to the yoke of slavery. And finally, the psalmist says "O Lord of hosts, Blessed is the man who trusts in You!" Amen! When you trust in Him, He will take us from strength to strength, from faith to faith and from glory to glory. It's an unexplainable journey with God!

Hear, O My people...!

Psalms 81:8, 10-12 NKJV

“Hear, O My people, and I will admonish you! O Israel, if you will listen to Me! I am the Lord your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt; Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it. “But My people would not heed My voice, And Israel would have  none of Me. So I gave them over to their own stubborn heart, To walk in their own counsels.

Shalom! Day #245. Do you know that there are times when God allows you to walk in your stubborn ways, to learn a lesson? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for being stubborn hearted. When You call, we want to listen, when You lead, we want to follow. Deliver us from our rebellious ways. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

We serve a God who is gentle and merciful yet at the same time it doesn't mean that God will not get angry over the things we do that's not pleasing Him. He doesn't force His ways on us, yet He always warns and reminds us of the consequences that would take place if we disobey His words and do things according to the ways of a wicked person. Most of the time, people who already tasted the goodness of God and have seen His great and mighty works tends to give in to their wicked ways. Unbelief is the root cause of this. Why believers can turn to their wicked ways and rebel against God so easily, is because of their unbelieving heart and they have no personal encounter with the Lord. They are easily be fooled and easily fallen into the traps and schemes of the devil.

In today's verse, it is written that “But My people would not heed My voice, And Israel would have  none of Me. So I gave them over to their own stubborn heart, To walk in their own counsels." People who don't want to listen to the counsel of God, who do not want to heed the words of God,  are so stubborn and rebellious person. When God says no, we tend to go against His word and do it our ways to please our heart and desires and when things didn't turn up the way we want, we then blame God for it. We think that God did not help us, whereas God already warned us a thousand times. Now,we regret also no point, but if you regret, let it to lead you to repentance. And God says, “Hear, O My people, and I will admonish you! O Israel, if you will listen to Me! I am the Lord your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt; Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it." Admonish means to advise, to rebuke, to reprove. If you are willing to listen and take heed to His voice, then you shall see.the word of God alive in You and leading you in the path of righteousness.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Be the lamp stand for this generation...!

Psalms 78:5-8 NKJV

For He established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel, Which He commanded our fathers, That they should make them known to their children; That the generation to come might know them, The children who would be born, That they may arise and declare them to their children, That they may set their hope in God, And not forget the works of God, But keep His commandments; And may not be like their fathers, A stubborn and rebellious generation, A generation that did not set its heart aright, And whose spirit was not faithful to God.

Shalom! Day #244. Do you know that you are responsible to stand for this generation and to declare the mighty works of God to this generation? Let's pray. Father, we pray that we would not be hesitant to declare of Your wondrous works and to be Your salt and light to this generation. Let Your love touch this generation so that they would turn back from their stubborn, rebellious and wicked ways. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

To every believer has been given a mandate to declare the statutes and the praises of God. It is everyone's responsibility as a believer that the generation to come might know them and live according to them. In every generation there must be a lamp stand that will make a stand for the generation. In every generation from Adam to us, till today, God is actively raising up those who are willing to stand for the generation, those who are want to make a difference in their generation and those who want to create a history for God.

Why we must carry-on the works of God?  Because that they may arise and declare them to their children, That they may set their hope in God, And not forget the works of God, But keep His commandments; And may not be like their fathers, A stubborn and rebellious generation, A generation that did not set its heart aright, And whose spirit was not faithful to God. Amen! So let us gird up and be prepared for the works of the Lord. To be the lamp stand what would shine forth His glory to this generation and generations to come.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
