Our bodies are members of Christ...!

I Corinthians 6:15-17, 19-20 NKJV

Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with  her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.” But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with  Him. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who  is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

******
Shalom! Day #365. Do you know that your body, spirit and soul was purchased with a price that even you aren't able to pay? Let's pray. Father, thank You for sending us Your only beloved Son, to die for our sins and have purchased us with Your Son's precious blood. We thank You Lord. As we come to the end of 2013, Holy Spirit, help us to live a life pleasing unto You, Lord. We acknowledge Your lordship over our lives. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Our bodies are purchased with a price that even you aren't able to pay. This life we live isn't our own, but we owe it to the Lord because He died for our sins. Therefore Jesus being the Owner of our body, soul and spirit, we are to live our lives totally for the Lord. Why there is sexual immorality within us? Why we allowing it to happen although knowing that this body belongs to the Lord? The reason is, the Spirit is willing but flesh is weak. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit. We are to preserve the holiness of this temple.

Folks, I don't want to know how you have lived your life in this year, but one thing I would like to know and ask is this, 'are you willing to consecrate your life to the Lord?' 'Are you willing to let go every bad habits?' Are you willing to let God be the Lord of your life?' Come on, as we are now in the last day of 2013, let us remove and burn the bridges of sexual immorality and live a holy and acceptable life before God. I'm inviting you to come and be joined with Lord and be one with Him. Flee from sexual immorality. God bless you and have an extraordinary new year 2014! Be a History Maker!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

For we are God's fellow workers...!

I Corinthians 3:9-11 NKJV

For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you  are  God’s building. According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

******
Shalom! Day #364. Do you know that you have the ability to create success in the lives of people? Let's pray. Father as we come to the end of 2013, help us to change the patterns of how we do things, our motives, every negative ways. Lord, we pray that You would change us from inside out. Prepare us to step into 2014 with a rigth heart attitude. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Yes, we are God's fellow workers. Oh what a privilege it is! For you to be a successful servants of God, the secret is not found in humans wisdom and word or in the world. Success is from God, to you and through you. We are God's fellow workers,  and when we begin to sow into the lives of others,  when we begin to help others become successful, you are actually creating a platform of success for you indirectly. The people is God's field,  God's building. We are to work out that field until it produces good fruits. Meaning to say that we are to work to make sure the souls that's been entrusted to us by God,  prosper and become successful in everything they do. Success happens when you help others to become successful.

1. Helping others to become successful.
=> the ministry we do, must have an impact in the lives of the people. Creating every new opportunities for the people we are working on. Helping them to achieve their dreams. Helping them to become successful in everything they do.

2. Success is from God.
=> your success is from God and not from human. Success is from God to you and through you. When you begin to build yourself 1st in the word of God, and begin to work out the promises of God for your life, you will witness the success of God in your life and flowing through your life to others.

Many servants and fellow workers are selfish and self seeking for success. It's like the crab story. Whereby if one crab wants to climb out of the basket, another crab pulls it down. Don't be like the crab. But be a worker that would help others to prosper 1st. Let us change the way we are. Change our patterns. As we step into 2014, let's step in with a new vision and mission.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Your faith is not on the wisdom of men...!

I Corinthians 2:5 NKJV

that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.

******
Shalom! Day #363. Do you know that our faith grows stronger each time we witness the power of God? Let's pray. Father, we pray that let not our faith be merely on wisdom of men, but of every words that proceeds from Your mouth and from every works You perform. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Your faith is not based on mens approval. Your faith is not based on humans wisdom. Your faith is based on the power of God that's at work in your life today! Many believers, running to and fro to see miracles and so on, but they forget that God has given to them the power and the faith to create a miracle. The power of God is able to create a miracle in your life, if you are WILLING TO BELIEVE IN HIM!

1. You must believe!
=> your faith must be activated 1st, in order for you to believe in Him. Without faith you cannot please God. Without faith you will never ever experience any miracles.

2. Build up your faith.
=> you must build up your faith in the wisdom of God. You must build up your faith on the word of God. Your faith isn't built on men's works or wisdom. So don't run after miracles, but be the person who God uses to create a miracles.

This is a few of other points you can have. So let not be fooled by people's word and worldly wisdom,  but let your faith grow as you witness the power of God that's at work in your life.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The foolish things of the world... I am!

I Corinthians 1:27-29 NKJV

But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence.

******
Shalom! Day #362. Do you know that people whom the world rejected, God accepted and uses them mightily? Let's pray. Father,  though the world rejected us, we thank You, for You have selected us, to be Your elected ones. You've accepted us to be Your light,  Your vessel, Your people. We thank You for this wonderful privilege You have given to us. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Now, let me give a little story about me. I was the useless believer. People looked down to me as a hopeless case, even my church people looked down, even my relations they bullied me, yet God honored my decision, I want to be real with my God. Until to this date I still count it as a blessing to be chosen by God to do His will. I was the foolishness of this world, people despised me, rejected me but my God, my Jesus selected me to be His elected ones, to be His light to this world. I'm happy to see and witness how God changed me. I wasn't born in a strong Christian family. My dad wasn't a pastor. My family wasn't even serving God! He selected me, accepted me and elected me to be His vessel. People were puzzled,  amazed when I choose to serve God fulltime. Those who despised me, bullied me now, they look up to me, not because of me but because of what the Lord has done in my life.

Come on folks, there is still hope for you. If God can change me, He is able to change you as well. This coming year 2014, let us make a commitment to change.  To allow God to create us anew. God chooses the foolishness of this world to be the history maker! Are you willing? Are you ready?

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Live purposefully...!

Romans 14:8-9 NKJV

For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. For to this end Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living.

******
Shalom! Day #361. Do you know that many of us still unclear about the purpose for living as a believer. Let's pray. Father, help us to understand the purpose of our living as well as to see Your plans and Your purposes You have installed for us. Lord, as we step into the brand new year, help us to live purposefully.  In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Apostle Paul says in Philippians 1:21, for me to live is Christ, to die is gain. With a clear purpose apostle Paul stated it. He is clear of his purpose for living. In this verse, again Paul clearly instructing to us to be clear with our purpose for living. For if we live, we live to the Lord. If we die, we die to the Lord.

So folks, please live your life purposefully and not without a purpose. You either stand for something or die for nothing. As we step Into 2014, let your vision and passion for living be clear. Live your life to the fullness of Christ.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Put on Christ...!

Romans 13:11-14 NKJV

And do this, knowing the time, that now it  is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill  its lusts.

******
Shalom! Day #360. Do you know that as a believer, we are aught to put on the Lord Jesus Christ as you continue to live on this earth? Let's pray. Father, as we live this life, every minute let us represent Christ. To be the light of Christ in this world. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Folks, we are living in the high times. Time for the second coming of Christ our King. Therefore,  let us be awaken from our sleep, and be ready. The night is spent in sleep and rest, therefore while it's still day, let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of God, the armor of truth and the armor of light (Eph 6:10-20). Being a follower of Christ doesn't mean that you life as how you want, but in every way being a good testimony to people around you. Sorry, I'm not judging but I speak as per what I see. Many Christian, youth especially, came from a strong Christian family, yet living their lives as though belong to the darkness. Party here and there, drunkenness, especially during this Christmas season, people celebrate it with liquor and alcohol. Where is there testimony of Christ in their life? Christian for name sake. Yet, there is an open door for them, God gives them time to repent, His grace period for them, if it has passed the time, then the invitation is closed.

To live on this world is hard, yet if you know they ways, it will be extremely easy.

1. Put on the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-20)
⊙ apostle Paul said to work out our salvation.

- do not take it likely the salvation of God in your life. To fight this world,  1st you must know that we aren't fighting against the people of this world, or against your neighbours,  or your families but against the power and the principalities of the darkness of this world. To stand strong and work out your salvation is to put on the armor of God and to fight it, and not to flow with the darkness.

2. Put on the Lord Jesus Christ.
⊙ Christ is our ultimate victory.

- Christ defeated the devil at the cross. Even during the 40 days of fasting, the devil tried many ways to tempt Him, yet He remained strong and fought the devil. Put on the Lord Jesus Christ as you walk this life in battling with every works of the devil for Christ is our Victor who gave us victory.

So, folks,  let us not be conformed to this world, but in every steps of our lives, put on Christ and the armor of God as you battle the darkness.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Be not ignorant...!

Romans 11:25, 29 NKJV

For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. For the gifts and the calling of God are  irrevocable.

******
Shalom! Day #359. Do you know that the gifts of God and the calling of God for your life is irrevocable and even if you ran away from the calling,  it will eventually get you back? Let's pray. Father, we acknowledge the power of Your calling and we are grateful for Your calling and the gifts You have given to us. Help us to use it daily as we serve You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

I do not desire that you who read this blog to be ignorant of the mystery of His calling upon your life. You may run, but you cannot hide from the calling of God. You may choose not to heed the calling, but hey, you did not choose, but He chooses you! So whether you like it or not, whether you are willing or not, wether you want it or not, the calling and the gifts of God for your life cannot be cancelled, cannot be nullified. It is sealed on your life with the precious blood of Jesus Christ!

Let not your eyes be blinded by the things of the wolrd. Let it not blind you from the calling of God. Let it not blind you from the gifts of God which is at work in you. I desire not that you are blinded, but that you would take heed to the calling and the gifts of God for your life! This is the greatest gift for you this Christmas,  apart of what Christ has done for us. Blessed Christmas to all my readers.  God bless you!

Walk the gospel...!

Romans 10:15-16 NKJV

And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!” But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “ Lord , who has believed our report?”

******
Shalom! Day #358. Do you know that it's a privilege and a wonderful task for those who bring the gospel of peace? Let's pray. Father, thank You for entrusting us with the gospel of truth. Give us the courage to bring the goodnews to the world as You enables us. In Jesus name we ask and pray,  amen!

Let me tell you one thing as a follower and a believer of Christ. Each and everyone who have accepted Christ Jesus, are called and are sent to preach the gospel. To every believer has been given the mandate to go to the ends of the world to preach the gospel. Now, leg is an important part of our body without the leg we find it impossible to walk, to run, to do go anywhere. The feet that brings the gospel of peace brings good news and glad tidings. In those days people traveled by their legs. They walk no matter how far the distance may be. The gospel is not just to be kept in the book, but you got to walk the gospel!

Many choose not to do so, because they choose disobey the gospel and live on their own according to their own will and own purposes and missed the plans of God for their lives. Bringing the gospel to the nations is a noble and glorified task. Do it with all your heart, for your works are not in vain.

You are no more condemned...!

Romans 8:1, 5, 14-15, 28 NKJV

There  is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who  live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

******
Shalom! Day #357. Do you know that for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God? Let's pray. Father, let Your Spirit to lead us daily as we walk with You. Help us to be sensitive to Your move and Your voice. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

For those who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior,  there's no condemnation. Those who aren't, still live in condemnation, because they walk by flesh and not according to the Spirit. People who live by flesh can only to a certain limit of their life whereas those who live according to the Spirit,  see the unseen things on which God has prepared for them. The Spirit of God gives divine revelations into the things of God. For as many as are led by the Spirit knows that Christ is their assurance! They shall not fear though they walk through the valley of shadows of death.

You did not receive the Spirit of bondage, but to live freely. Jesus has set us free, therefore live a sin free life . No longer be subject to yoke of slavery.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The gift of grace part 2...

Romans 6:12-15 NKJV

Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!

******
Shalom! Day #356. Do you know that your body, mind and soul belongs to God? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for allowing our body, mind and soul in partaking in the sinful nature of our fleshy desires. Let us not be given into lust but in every way to honor You by giving ourselves as a holy and living sacrifice unto You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The power of Christ's resurrection have defeated the devil and sin, and death has been conquered and life is given! We who have accepted Christ as our Lord and Savior must allow the power of His resurrection to work in our lives so that sin will no longer reign in our mortal body and that we should obey it in it's lustful desires. We live In a sin filled world. In this sinful world, as we walk through our lives, there may be temptations. The sinful nature will be against the godly nature. How will you or how do you overcome it?

1. Give yourself to the Lord.
⊙ when you yield yourself to the Lord, you shall see victory.

- yield to God and resist the devil. Open up your heart to God and allow God to close the doors of sinful pathways. Present your body as a living sacrifice holy and pleasing unto the Lord. Present yourself unto the Lord as being alive from the dead.

2. You have dominian over sin.
⊙ sin has been defeated and it has no power over you

- if you realize one thing, the moment you've accepted Christ into your life as Lord and Savior, that very moment to you have been given all power and authority of God to bind and loose, to cast out demons and heal the sick. When you have realize the weight that the power of His resurrection carries, your life will never be under the dominion of the devil and be bound by sins, but be set free and live a victorious Christian life. This, again, only works when you are willing to allow the resurrection power of Christ to set you free.

The gift of His grace is for all, not just for one. Always remember this, that it's not about how good you are and so on so that God wanted to die for you, but it's because of His unexplainable love and grace towards us, that He gave His only Son to die in our place. His grace is not our license to sin, but to live freely not be bound by sin anymore!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The gift of grace...!

Romans 5:5, 11, 15-16 NKJV

Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation. But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. And the gift is not like that  which  came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which  came from one offense  resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which  came from many offenses resulted in justification.

******
Shalom! Day #355. Do you know that there's no disappointment in hope, but there's disappointment if we do hold on to the Author of hope? Let's pray. Father, You are the Author and Perfector of our hope and faith. Therefore we pray that we will continue to hold on to the hope that's in You because in You there's hope and You give hope to the hopeless. We thank You for the gift of grace and hope  that we've found in You. In Jesus name we ask and pray,  amen!

Wow, it's the month for a great celebration. Celebration of the birth of my Savior! Celebration of when grace came to world to save humankind. I call this, 'the gift of grace.' Jesus is my hope for living and for a better future. The hope which He offers to us will never ever by any means disappoint us. And because of that hope, we are able to draw boldly to Him to experience the gift of grace called Love. This gift is given to us freely. We receive it for free of charge because the total price was paid in the cross for you and I. His life is the price of our sins.

Today, you too can receive and experience the gift of grace. The invitation is extended to you today. Come and be a part of this celebration of the gift of grace.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Call into existence...!

Romans 4:17-18, 20-21 NKJV

(as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.

******
Shalom! Day #354. Do you know that you are also able to call those things which do not exist as though they did? Let's pray. Father, we acknowledge the power and authority which You have bestow to us. Give us faith that would want to see Your power at work. Thank You Jesus.  In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Let me tell you something as a believer. If you are daring and bold to trust God for greater things, for the unseen things, well, now try it. Call into existence the things unseen, the things you want to see happen in your life, the things you want God yo create in your life. Once you have done it, you shall witness it taking place one by one! Abraham saw the unseen decendants, because of faith. He did not waver at the promises of God. He believed God for every words He has spoken.

So if you dare to believe and trust God for greater things, then called out the things unseen into existence. Faith is the key here. Let not your faith falter.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Practice what you preach...!

Romans 2:21-24 NKJV

You, therefore, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that a man should not steal, do you steal? You who say, “Do not commit adultery,” do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? You who make your boast in the law, do you dishonor God through breaking the law? For “the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you,” as it is written.

******
Shalom! Day #353. Do you know that before you began to teach, preach or even share to anyone, first you must allow the Word of God to correct and to teach us first? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for not taking heed to Your corrections and that we share to people without the word teaching us first. Lord, we do not want to be a hypocrite. Teach us daily as we read and meditate on Your word, and give us the courage to teach others what we have learned from You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Well, I take this verse seriously because I don't want to be a hypocrite. Lest I be found not practicing what I preach. Meditating time is where the Lord speaks to us, corrects us. Allow the Holy Spirit to have His way in our spiritual life during our meditation time. We as a servants of God must take it seriously when preaching and teaching to others from the Word of God. If we are preaching to them do not steal yet we ourselves coveting money, well the label is, 'HYPOCRITE.' Do not put a yoke on the believers neck if we ourselves are not going to obey and follow it. I cannot teach and preach to married couples if I myself am not married and don't know anything about it. Therefore being as the youth pastor, youth overseer and leader, I can only teach and preach what the Lord has laid in my heart for the youths. I can only teach and preach whatever the Lord has worked in my life 1st as a youth, then I would be able to teach and preach to them.

Come on, do not be like the Pharisees who teach and preach the things they practice not. Let me tell you something as a servant of God. An impactful and powerful message is when the message itself is being taught to us and allow the Word to transform us from inside out and then when we preach to others, you will see and witness the power of God taking place! Now, you want to see something cool? Well begin to allow the Word to work in you 1st.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Are you ashamed of the gospel...?

Romans 1:16, 20-23 NKJV

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

******
Shalom! Day #352. Do you know the fact that's most of the youth in this generation find it really hard to stand for Jesus? Let's pray. Father, forgive this generation for not standing for You and not boldly witnessing You to people. Lord, we pray that You would raise up one mighty generation that would stand up boldly and would not be ashamed of the gospel. Thank You Jesus. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The gospel. The power of God. The salvation. I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it has the power to touch lives,  transform lives, change lives, impact lives. Certainly,  I am not ashamed of it, because this same gospel changed my life 14 years ago. It has the unspeakable power that works in us as you allow the Word to change you. But, sad to say, I'm saying this as a fellow believer. Many youth in this generation find it really hard to stand for Jesus. For example, in a gathering or a party, let's say there are believers and unbelievers, what happen is, when the drinks are offered to them, I'm talking about alcohol, when it's offered to them, instead of turning the offer down, they too enjoy drinking it. Their stand for the testimony of Jesus in their life is no more. Professing to be a believer, yet in action we failed!

Although they knew God, they did not glorify Him. Jesus said, "if you deny me before man, then He will deny us before the Father." In my previous posts,  I have mentioned that we are living in crucial days and that we are or may be the last generation before the second coming of Christ. And it is extremely important that we stand strong and radically proclaim the gospel. It is us who going to turn the world upside down. It is us that's going to be the history makers.  It is us who going to bring back the harvest. It is us who going to turn them away from their wicked ways. Now tell me, are you ashamed of the gospel? If you are ashamed, you won't be able to see the power of the gospel!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The shipwrecked moments...!

Acts 27:20 NKJV

Now when neither sun nor stars appeared for many days, and no small tempest beat on us, all hope that we would be saved was finally given up.

******
Shalom! Day #351. Do you know that even when you go through the shipwrecked moments,  there is still hope for survival? Let's pray. Father, there is always hope in You. We thank You being our hope from the day we accepted You as our Lord and Savior to this day, the hope in You has never failed us. Thank You Jesus. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

I have been through "shipwrecked" moments in my life both in spiritual as well as in natural. Oh that moment you feel that all hope is gone, and nothing else is there for you, and nobody is able to help. That very moment when all hope is shattered and you have no where else to go and don't know what else to do. Hey let me tell you something cool. You wanna hear something cool? Now, when all hopes are shattered and you don't know what else to do, come to God of hope on bended knees, humble yourself and He will give you hope. In hopeless situations,  with Jesus there is hope. How hard the waves or typhoons or tsunamis of life have beaten you up? Is all your hopes and dreams were shipwrecked when the waves of life beaten you up? The good news for you is, in Jesus all your shattered hopes are save and secured and let me tell you one more thing as a servant of God.  All your shattered hopes and dreams are no longer in shattered conditions,  but it's all better then the previous ones in Christ Jesus.

I'm speaking from my personal experience. The moment I'm broken into pieces,  hopeless, Christ is there for me with open arms He welcomes me. And when i have placed all my shattered hopes in His hands, He knows how to make it beautiful again! Jesus is my hope. When man fails you, Jesus never fails you. That's the only reason I don't put my hopes in human. So how about you? I'm pretty sure that you have been through shipwrecked situations as well. Everyone has their own experience. This is my story,  so what's your story?

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Your time is limited...!

Acts 24:24-25 NKJV

And after some days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was Jewish, he sent for Paul and heard him concerning the faith in Christ. Now as he reasoned about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and answered, “Go away for now; when I have a convenient time I will call for you.”

******
Shalom! Day #350. Do you know that our time on this earth is getting lesser and lesser?  Let's pray. Father, with the time frame which you have given to us, Holy Spirit help us to use it wisely,  live it usefully.  Let there be an urgency in our hearts to live for Your purpose and will. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Life is short no matter how many years we live. Don't be deceived into thinking that you have lots of remaining time to live for Christ, to enjoy your loved ones, or to do what you know you should. Live for God today! Then, no matter when your life ends, you will have fulfilled God's plan for you. Many of Christians, unbelievers and even to pagans is preached the gospel, so that they would turn away from their wicked ways, repent and be reconciled to God. But, at the same time they seems to wanting it according to their convenience. People want to know Christ and His salvation plan for them, yet, they do not want to accept the life changing truth because they think the gosple is to hard for them to comprehend. In this verse we read that Felix and his wife Drusilla came to see Paul to hear him speak about Christ. As Paul was explaining to them, Felix was afraid of all that Paul was telling and he said, in his convenient time , he will call Paul again. Many of us want to hear about the gosple at our convenient.

Folks, please allow me to say something as a servant of God. Your convenient time may not come, and it may be too late for you. You may heard about Christ Jesus,  yes that is good, but that you might have refused to accept Him when He was preached to you. Because you may be not ready to leave whatsoever the world has for you, to repent from your wicked ways. Don't be late! Your clock is ticking..... Tic tac tic tac tic tac...... Christ came not to let you be in your comfort zone and according to your comfort and convenient to hear about Him. He came to call you out of your comfort zone and from your convenient time. So, folks if you have heard about Christ and the gosple, and you have not made the decision to accept Him as you Lord and Savior and allow Him to be in control of your life,  now is you time. Get out of your convenient anf reach out to Him. Our time is limited, use it wisely and live it usefully and purposefully. God bless you!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

You have been chosen...!

Acts 22:14-15 NKJV

Then he said, ‘The God of our fathers has chosen you that you should know His will, and see the Just One, and hear the voice of His mouth. For you will be His witness to all men of what you have seen and heard.

******
Shalom! Day #349. Do you know that everyone of us have been chosen even before everyone,  you and I were born into this world? Let's pray. Father, thank You choosing me to know Your will, to execute You plans with the purposes that You have for me. On this wonderful day, Lord allow us to proclaim to all the earth of all that You have done. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

I start with the verse from Jeremiah 1:5, it's written that God knew us even before we were born and have chosen us to do His will. He has chosen you to know His will, I repeat. HE HAS CHOSEN YOU TO KNOW HIS WILL. He has chosen us to see the Just One. To see the Lord our God, our Savior. To hear the voice of His mouth. As I was reading this verse, God reminded me again what's the reason He has chosen me and called me. I have seen my clear picture of His will and plans for my life.

Now that you have seen all the Lord has done for you, through you, now it's your responsibility to make known to the world about the miracles of what God has done to you and I. For you will be His witness to all men of what you have seen and heard. Jesus has given us this commandments,  so do it!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Race with all joy...!

Acts 20:24, 28-29, 32 NKJV

But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. “So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

******
Shalom! Day #348. Do you know that there's no greater joy than the joy found in serving God and doing His will? Let's pray. Father, we thank You for the joy and privilege You've given us in serving You. We pray Lord that You would continue to strengthen us as we run and finish the race with all perseverance and endurance. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

I've always admired apostles Paul for his leadership qualities. Serving God isn't something "today I do, tomorrow I don't." It's our living, our lifestyle. If you read Philippians 1:21 Apostle Paul says, "for me to live is Christ and to die is gain." Paul got his motives and  purpose right in serving God. But none of these move me, nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy. Wow! What a declaration! Paul says "none of these?" What is he talking about? None of what the world has to offer Paul has ever moved him, but the only thing moved him to continue to pursue with all diligence and perseverance is the call of God and the ministry that's been entrusted to him by God. Although he went through many persecutions, bound in chains,  yet he count it all joy in serving.

In this passage, Paul is setting an example of how to serve, to lead the church of God.

1. Count it all joy and privileged in serving God.
⊙ not only in trials and tribulations but in serving as well.

=> nothing else matters when comes to serving God.  If you're serving God today, count it as a privilege. If God did not call you, you may not even have a chance to serve. You did not choose Him, but He choose. As we continue to serve Him, let us not be entangled with the worldly things. Let not these things moves you, but let the call of God moves you to the greater heights in ministry and life.

2. Take heed yourselves and to all the flock.
⊙ wow... the ministry, the congregation God gave you is to take care and expand.

=> Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. God purchased with His own blood and gave it to you to take care and to expand. Don't just be a maintenance worker who all he does is just maintaining it, but be as a farmer who plants, trims and produce. You are to impact and transform the lives of your flock, your disciples, believers, congregation. They are precious because they were purchased with His own blood. With all diligence and excellence,  serve them and care for them.

3. Make sure they are walking in the right path.
⊙ make sure they aren't entangled with wrong doctrines.

=> you are responsible for their growth. Make sure they don't slipped away from the path that leads to life. For false teachers may come to divert them from the Truth. Beware of fox in the lamb clothes. You must lead them and nurture them. You must feed them spiritually. Make sure they grow in the truth and not be entangled with false doctrines.

So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified. Your serving is not in vain. You shall have your reward.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

But who you are...?

Acts 19:14-16 NKJV

Also there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?” Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

******
Shalom! Day #347. Do you know that even the devil recognizes who you are? Father, help us understand who we are in You. We do not want to take it for granted the authorities that You have given to us. Let us not become like the sons of Sceva. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Jesus I know, and Paul I know, but who are you? Oh yes, the devil recognizes who you are. The devil knows how close you are with God.  The devil knows whether you are strong in God or not. The devil knows but why you don't know! The scenario that took place in this verse is about the sons of Sceva trying to do perform an exorcism in the name of Jesus. They know Paul and they know the name of Jesus, but they do not have any personal encounter with Him. Their basement is weak though the building seems to be "strong." Then they were overpowered by the man with the evil spirit. You see folks,  a few things we can learn from this verse.

1. Well, again it's about our IDENTITY.
⊙ But who are you? Tell me who are you?

-> to every believer who have accepted,  invited and get Jesus to be involved in their lives, to them is given a new identity card. We have our natural identity card to say that I am so and so and son or daughter of so and so. Indeed,  every believer is given an identity card as well. Your identity is as the sons and daughters of the one true living God! Don't forget your identity!

2. Your relationship with Jesus.
⊙ the devil knows your relationship status with God.

-> if your relationship status with God is healthy and strong, the devil will literary be shaken and won't even dare to overpower you. How's your relationship status with God today? Broken? Connected? Stale? Haven't activated yet? Well if this is your condition,  let me tell you one thing as a servant of God. The devil will laugh at you and even in one flick of the devil finger itself you would be shaking already. You are able to face the devil when you are spiritually strong in the Lord. People or shall I say most of the Christian knew Jesus just for the name Jesus but don't have any personal encounter or any personal relationship with the Lord.

Don't be a Christian whose basement is weak and building ia strong. Be a strong Christian both basement and building. Check yourself daily,  evaluate you relationship with God.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Midnight Crisis...!

Acts 16:25-26 NKJV

But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.

******
Shalom! Day #346. Do you know that everyone of us have this midnight crisis and how we overcome it will not just affect us but our surroundings as well? Let's pray. Father,  we thank You for Your never-ending empowerment of Your Holy Spirit in continuing to strengthen us as we walk this life in the midst of crisis, problems and difficulties. Thank You Lord.  In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

I have read this passage many times and each time I read, I receive a new revelation from this portion of the scripture. I simply name today's sharing as MIDNIGHT CRISIS,  because this event took place at midnight and at that very hour Paul and Silas realized who they are and what they are capable of doing. In urban dictionary, the meaning of MIDNIGHT CRISIS is a crisis in which an individual realizes that they are not what they want to be. In accordance with this crisis the person, in many cases, may change their life drastically. Now that's what exactly Paul and Silas did. They realized who they are and what they are capable of doing. Although they were imprisoned, yet they choose NOT to be like the other prisoners. They made a difference in the prison and that affected the rest of the prisoners.

Now, are you ready to receive the revelation that I have received from God? Well, here it goes....

1. Acknowledge who you are and what you are capable of doing.
⊙ Paul and Silas they choose not to be like the fellow prisoners.
-> It's written here in this verse, "But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them." You must understand one thing here. Paul and Silas were bound in chains and even that kind of situation they realized who they are. They did not forget that they are the CHILD, SERVANTS, BELIEVERS AND THE FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST JESUS! Many of us when we go through crisis and problems,  we forget our identity. We forget that we are the child of God, the servants of God, the believers and the followers of Christ Jesus! We forget what authority we have! Paul and Silas they acknowledged it and they choose to stand out of the crowd! They know what the God they serve is capable of doing. They began to pray and sing hymns to God. Spirit filled Prayer, Praise and worship is the main weapon for spiritual warfare.

2. And the prisoners were listening to them.
⊙ Paul and Silas was singing and praying so loudly until everyone in the prison heard it.

-> Now, people are looking at you. They are observing your every movement as a believer and child of God. They are looking at what kind of testimony you would become. Your actions can affect those surrounding you. In the midst of the crisis and problems you go through, you don't just somehow go through but you breakthrough all odds and obstacles!  The determination,  the strength, the ability and the capability you have as you breakthrough the crisis and problems would be an encouragement to those surrounding you. When you realized your identity and you choose not to flow with the crowd, but to stand out and make a difference in the crisis you go through, you are actually setting an example to others as well.

3. The final point, Paul and Silas wasn't delivered out of the prison but inside.
⊙ your deliverance is from inside out.

-> Daniel wasn't delivered out of the lion's den, but inside of the lion's den. God is able to deliver you from inside of your crisis. Many would want to be delivered outside of the crisis and problem, but those who have the different spirit,  like Caleb and Joshua, they saw the possibilities in the impossibilities. To you is given a faith that's not only able to move the mountains but as well as to conquer and take control of that mountain! When you are delivered from inside, then people outside will be waiting to see how you become. Paul and Silas was delivered in the prison, and they were taken out later. Even the jailer was amazed! Daniel was delivered from inside, then King Darius and his officials were amazed because Daniel was alive!

So, what shall I say here in conclusion? I think I have said it all. Now belongs to you to apply it. Do not settled for what your surroundings cause you to be, but be the person God wants you to be.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Show no partiality...?

Acts 15:8-9 NKJV

So God, who knows the heart, acknowledged them by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He  did to us, and made no distinction between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

******
Shalom! Day #345. Do you know that God knows your hearts intentions and He doesn't practice partiality and favoritism? Let's pray. Father, we pray today that You would search us and seek out our hearts.  Surround us with Your Spirit and never depart. Where can we go from You? What can we do without You? For You know our thoughts, our intentions, our motives and our every moves. Search our hearts today, Lord, that we may not be found in wanting. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Let me tell you something as a believer of Christ and one who have been rebuked and corrected by God. God knows every intentions of our hearts,  be it good or bad. People may not know, but hey, God is 24/7 watching us. Every sinful thoughts,  every selfish thoughts, every movement God is watching. In this verse, God clearly says that He is a God who doesn't practice partiality and favoritism. Whether you are rich or poor, Jewish or gentile, black or white, Asian or European, natives or westerners,  there isn't distinction between us. We are all the same in the sight of God. Sometimes in the church itself we practice partiality and favoritism. For example, those congregation who are rich, we want to rub shoulders with them. Those who are talented we want them to be involved in the worship team. Those who are really good in music and so on, we want them to play in every occasions. It's like without them, the worship is dead!!! It's been happening in most of the churches.

God did not practice partiality and favoritism,  so why are putting a yoke on the believers neck, when we ourselves are not willing to bear it? As I said earlier, God knows what you are thinking, what's your intentions and so on. There's two things I would like to share with us today.

1. Practice no partiality and favoritism.
⊙ Acts 10:34 Peter says ... in truth I perceive that God shows no partiality.

=> Jesus did not practice partiality amongst His disciples and followers. I humbly implore to every leaders,  pastors and fellow believers and servants let us not practice favoritism and partiality in the kingdom of God, for people like this are the biggest hindrance for the enlargement and for the advancement of God's kingdom on earth. Be fair to all.

2. God knows the hearts of man.
⊙ be it your intentions or your motive, let it be pure and clear before God.

=> you may say no one knows what's happening inside of your head and heart, but God knows! The salvation plan of God is for everyone and not just for the poor, the rich or the educated but for all. God didn't choose certain people to be saved and to pour out the Holy Spirit upon them, but to everyone who confess their sins and be baptized in the name of Jesus are given the gift of God, the gift of salvation and the Holy Spirit.

So is your intentions pure? Are we practising partiality? You answer it yourself.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Remain Faithful...!

Acts 14:21-22 NKJV

And when they had preached the gospel to that city and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch, strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying,  “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.”

******
Shalom! Day #344. Do you know that it is easy for a camel to go through the needles hole, than for an unbeliever to enter the kingdom of God? Let's pray. Father, we pray that we will stand strong and remain faithful to You till the end of our lives. Give us the strength to breakthrough every obstacles,  every odds, every trials and tribulations that we may be found worthy to enter Your kingdom. In Jesus name we ask and pray,  amen!

I discovered something new from this verse as I was reading it today. The Holy Spirit taught me something new from this verse. The works or the ministry of a servant of God or a believer is just to be busy in the ministry,  but as well as taking time to encourage fellow believers, continue to strengthening their faith, continue in building them up. Most of the time, we as a servant of God are carried away with the busyness of doing this and that, whereby we totally forget and pay no attention to our fellow workers, servants, believers and followers.

Being a Christian leader, a servant of God, a believer and a follower of Christ isn't an easy task. It's not even the easy way of living. Being a Christian leader, a servant of God, a believer and a follower of Christ means to be able to breakthrough all obstacles, all odds and all impossibilities. A few things I learned today from this verse and I would like to share it with you.

1. Do not neglect your fellow servants,  followers, believers.
⊙ the bible says that we are to love one another,  care for one another.

- as it is written in Acts 20:2 NKJV Now when he had gone over that region and encouraged them with many words, he came to Greece... Apostle Paul demonstrated the means of being a leader. Paul dearly loved his fellow servants. He always encourages them to stand strong and run the good race. As we serve the Lord together, we are to encourage one another and build one another. Let there be no any selfish gain amongst the brethren.

2. Now the second thing is to Remain Faithful.
⊙ many of us are shaken when we go through tribulations. Trouble and problems is a bad word for them.

- You must face the giants! No matter how hard your life treats you, stand strong and face it like a man! Remain faithful to your calling, to you beliefs as a follower of Christ and never in any situation denounce your faith. I salute to all those Christian martyrs, who till the very end of their lives, knowing that they are going to die, they remained faithful. How about us today? We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.

In this life we as a believer can choose to encourage one another and build them and be the instrument that would bring them to a place of significance or you can choose to bite them, don't bother them and neglect them. The choices are in your hands. Choose wisely. You have the key to change and make a difference in a persons life.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

You should be for salvation...!

Acts 13:38-39, 46-47 NKJV

Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses. Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, “It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles. For so the Lord has commanded us: ‘I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.’ ”

******
Shalom! Day #343. Do you know that the reason the Word of God being preached to you is so that you will be the light of God shining in this world filled with darkness? Let's pray. Father, we thank You for opening our hearts to receive Your word when it was made known to us. Therefore,  use us now to proclaim Your name to the ends of the earth. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Well, let me tell you something that's going to shake your faith, may be. By observing and doing the ten commandments alone is not going to bring salvation to you. Have you heard anyone say this? The ten commandments isn't your passport to heaven. Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses. Your only passport to heaven is Jesus. Through Jesus is preached to us the forgiveness of sin and were justified from all things. We aren't justified by the law of Moses, the ten commandments. It doesn't mean that we shouldn't follow it but, it's just that it is not going to lead you to salvation,  if you do not know the God who gave this commandments,  our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If you just upholding and following the law, it brings death but in Christ Jesus,  there is forgiveness of sins, because of love and grace.

The bible says that you are the light of the world. You are saved to win the lost, to bring salvation to the ends of the earth. When people who are labeled as Christian rejects the Word, therefore the words is preached to the unbelievers so that to them the salvation of God be made known. Why they refuse to hear, because they are stiff necked, and the religious spirit bounds them, cannot break their traditions and bound to the laws.

You got to break free of the religious teachings and open up your heart to receive Jesus and His salvation plan for you. Let not the grace of God pass us by.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Road to Damascus....

Acts 9:3-6, 10-11, 13, 15-16 NKJV

As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” And he said, “Who are You, Lord?” Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.  It is hard for you to kick against the goads.” So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?” Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.” Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias; and to him the Lord said in a vision, “Ananias.” And he said, “Here I am, Lord.” So the Lord said to him, “Arise and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for one called Saul of Tarsus, for behold, he is praying.  Then Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much harm he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem. But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel.  For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name’s sake.”

******
Shalom! Day #342. Do you know that one encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ, can change your life for eternity? Let's pray. Father, come and encounter us once again. We need Your fresh touch once again,  we need Your fresh fire once again, we need Your fresh Spirit upon us today. Lord, come and encounter us once again today. In Jesus name, we ask and pray,  amen!

Oh that very encounter with Jesus can change our lives. Everyone of us must have the road to Damascus experience. So that we would be encountered by Jesus once again! In this verse we read about Saul, a.k.a Apostle Paul, how a church persecutor became the apostle of Jesus Christ. Sorry for saying this, God can change a drug addict into an extraordinary servant of God, a prostitute into an extraordinary evangelist! God is able! Here Jesus encountered Saul for a purpose and with a purpose. Road to Damascus, an encounter, a life changing experience for Saul. Oh yes, He did not know that the Lord Jesus Christ will encounter him on that day, but Jesus knows it because He planned it. When Jesus encountered Saul, the one question He asked was this, "Saul,  Saul,  why are persecuting me?" Now Saul was a learned man, a scholar in the Torah and he knows the law. But he didn't know that Jesus is the Messiah! He was actively involved in persecuting the church of God. Jesus, encountered Saul and that very encounter is a significant one for Saul. It changed him totally. From a persecutor to a preacher! The Lord has a plan and a purpose for your life, my life, everybody's life! When He encounter you, be ready to move!

What to do when He encounter you?

1. Acknowledge the lordship of Jesus Christ upon our lives.
⊙ Here Saul is asking "who are You, Lord?"

- even people who are called as a Christian, having the name of a Christian,  labeled themselves as a Christian actively involved in persecuting Jesus Christ. How? Well they profess to know the Lord, but in action they failed. Their lifestyle doesn't show that they are believers because they don't acknowledge the lordship of Jesus Christ upon their lives. When Saul begin to acknowledge the lordship of Jesus Christ upon his life, he began to open his heart for the impartation of the Spirit of the Lord upon him. And here we come the next point which is...

2. Lord, what do You want me to do?
⊙ when Saul opened his heart and allowed Jesus to encounter him, a transition took place.

- when Saul opened his heart and allowed Jesus to encounter him, a transition took place. Saul, from a persecutor became a well known apostle, a preacher. When the Lord encounter you, allow the Lord to mold you and make you anew. A transition will take place and you will begin to realize the call of God upon your life. He will change you according to His will to fit into His plans and to do His purpose! Hallelujah! And God will direct your steps.

3. For he is a chosen vessel.
⊙ You are His chosen vessel. Ananias reasoned with Jesus why Saul? And Jesus said, "for he is a chosen vessel of Mine!"

- there is a verse in John 15 it says, "you did not choose me, but I chosse you to go and bear fruits." The Lord Himself will show what you must do. You will be His vessel to bear His name before the nations, kings and rulers! Amen!

Everyone of us needs the road to Damascus experience. Allowing the Lord to encounter us once again! To be renewed, refilled, refire, revived, to do His will and His purposes!  Acknowledge the lordship of Jesus upon our lives and allow Him to change you according to His plan and purposes. And the rest will be a history!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

You are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity...!

Acts 8:21-23 NKJV

You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you. For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity.”

******
Shalom! Day #341. Do you know that the scariest part of being a believer of Christ is not having a right heart attitude before God? Let's pray. Father, give us a clean hands, give us a pure heart, let us lift our hearts not to another but to You alone. Mold in us a right heart attitude towards You and one another. Forgive us for not having a right heart attitude before You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

I want to stress this matter as a believer and a servant of Christ to every believers.  Outwardly every believers seems to be growing spiritually and having a good life, but deep in their heart they are nurturing hatred, bitterness, bound with iniquity and feeling rejected by the community. Am I speaking to anyone today! And because of this we neither have a part nor a portion of whatever God has for us. If we neglect this things, it will later kill us. We will experience spiritual death, and eternal death. Bitterness, rejection, iniquity are like the cancerous cell. It is dangerous and not good for your spiritual living. Though we may be serving God, yet deep inside we having bitterness against one person or may be few. Rejection is another form of bitterness. Rejection is the beginning of bitterness and hatred. The feel of being rejected by certain group of people in the church, for example,  when you try to join the worship team and they rejected you because lack of experience and so on. It can grow to bitterness,  and at the end of the day we leave the church,  and go to another church and at that place we experience the same thing. No matter how many church you jump, if you never deal with it, you will always have the seed of rejection in you. Everybody wants to be accepted in one way or another.  The world may reject you, but Jesus accepts you! Be strong and deal with it. A right heart attitude begins when you deal with this things.

A right heart attitude, how to cultivate it?

1. Repent
⊙ repentance is the beginning of everything for our lives

-=> repentance is the beginning of restoration and healing. If today you are nurturing bitterness, hatred and bound by it, it's time for you and I to REPENT! This is to allow God to bring healing into our lives. Nobody wants to be rejected, and we do not choose for it, but when it happens the feeling of being rejected becomes bitterness and hatred.  And with that attitude we continue to serve God without dealing it. And there is always a feeling of not satisfied with the ministry and so on. Because they never deal with it.

2. Love.
⊙ many say, "I can forgive, but cannot forget."

-=> if you wholeheartedly forgive the people who caused the bitterness in your heart, then you should be able to forget what they have done. Because love covers a multitude of sins. Forgiving is not complete, if there in no LOVE involved in it. Let love bind us together, Colossians 3:14. Then you would be able to forget what they did.

Love is the basics of Jesus's teaching. Without love there is nothing. Having a right heart attitude as we serve the Lord,  enable us to have a portion of the things that the Lord has for us. So, how about you?

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Doing it according to His ways...!

Acts 5:38-39 NKJV

And now I say to you, keep away from these men and let them alone; for if this plan or this work is of men, it will come to nothing; but if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it—lest you even be found to fight against God.”

******
Shalom! Day #340. Do you know that if you are doing God's plan, no man will be able to withstand you and if it's your own plan, it will fail? Let's pray. Father, help us daily to do Your will and to execute Your plans for us as well as gor this world. Lord, we pray lest we be found pursuing our own plans. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

When you are pursuing you own plans, you will come to a place of disappointment but when you pursue God's plan, everything will be according to His appointment,  a success. Do it the God style,  God's ways. In this verse, the Pharisees are against the works that Peter is doing. He was preaching, teaching, praying for healings in the name Jesus. And this group of religious leaders are so troubled and disturbed by this. So they caught Peter and John and questioned them. Then one of them said let them alone for if this works they do is ot their own, it will not last long, but if it's from God,  then better do not interfere it. Ambitious people always have great plans and ideas of doing things their ways. But people of God, who fully and totally relying upon God's plans and ideas will see greater success and significance.

A couple of things I would like to share here today.

1. In  Proverbs 19:21 NKJV it's written that,  There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the Lord ’s counsel—that will stand.
⊙ we can have many plans, but if our plans are not according to His plans and purposes, it will not prosper.

- God's ways of doing things are always higher than our plans and ways. Every little things about our lives are filled with the plans of God. If we try to do things on our own accord, according to our ways, it will always fail eventually. Why? Simply because we aren't inline with His ways. Well then how to know His plans? Well, commit all your ways and plans to Him, and God will give you the best. There are many plans in a man's heart, but without the Lord's approval, advice, correction, nothing will come to past. When you seek His kingdom and righteousness,  God will make known to you His plans for you. And when God is involve in the plans He gave you... no devil can stop you!

- for example,  I'm speaking to the youth group. If you are looking for a life partner, then you better listen to this!  Many boys and girls are looking for the outward appearance and they fell for it, yet in the end of the day they got disappointed. Why? Simply because they did not take time to pray and ask God. For every male and female came to this earth,  they came by pair. God created male and female. God did not just create one kind. Well, you go to seek God 1st, earnestly then He will reveal to you your life partner. Your life partner is hidden in God, safe and secured!

2. Lest you even be found to fight against God.
⊙ yes... it's a serious matter.  If you are doing things your way, well you are rebelling against God.

- you go against God when you don't submit to His will and plans. Israel rebelled against God and they wandered for 40 years in the desert. Because they can't see the plans of God for them. God has promised a land of milk and honey, yet they kept on murmuring and grumbling, and doing things their way. God was angry. Are you doing your own things without God involve in it? Commit your ways to God and He will prosper your works.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

What do you have...?

Acts 3:6-8 NKJV

Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God.

******
Shalom! Day #339. Do you know that as a believer, we all have that one greatest and valuable possession? Let's pray. Father, thank You for giving us one most valuable possession.  More precious than silver or gold. More valuable than the riches the world can offer us. Thank You for giving us the name of Jesus. Whereby in His name every knees shall bow and every tongues confess that He is the Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. What do you have? You may be the richest person in the world, having trillions of money, yet if you don't have Jesus, you are still an empty vessel. A human being without life in it. Even the poorest man lives happily because he has Jesus in him. I'm not a rich person but I have Jesus in me. You might be thinking what Jesus can do. Hey let me tell you something as ordinary believer and as a servant of God. Jesus gives me peace, joy, good health. Jesus gives me power to bind and loose, to heal the sick, to set the demon possessed free. Jesus gives me the Holy Spirit.  Jesus gives me the power of the Holy Spirit. No I'm not a superman or superhuman.  I'm just an ordinary man created to do extraordinary work in the name of Jesus!

With Jesus in you, together with Him you are able to do great and mighty things. In this verse we read about Peter and the lame man.

1. What do you have?
⊙ the gifting God gave us isn't for us only, but to use it to serve others.

- Peter said silver and gold he do not have and not able to offer it to the lame man. But he said I have Jesus. He shared Jesus to that lame man. Are we bringing Jesus into the lives of people? Are we sharing Christ to them who is in need? People needs the Lord and we who have known the Lord and have the Lord,  are to share Him to them.

2. He took him by the right hand and lifted him up.
⊙ being a believer is not just about sharing Jesus,  but it's more than meets the eye.

- Many touch and go believers and servants of God have this habit.  They come, they share,  they go. They forget about following up with that person. They forget about discipleship. Peter not only shared Jesus,  but he went the extra mile in helping the lame man to stand up. And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. We must encourage them, build them, teach them to grow in faith as well as spiritually.

3. So he leaping up, stood and walked.
⊙ the amount of time you invest into a person life will not go in vain.

- Our ministry towards people, the amount of time we invest in teaching them discipling them will never go in vain. We have to disciple them, teach them to the point where that person is able to stand on his own and begin to serve God and others. So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God. The joy that you get when you see the person you discipled is to serve God.  The lame man went to the temple and praise God.

So are you sharing Jesus into the lives of people? Well then, do it excellently. When it's harvest time, you will reap bountiful with songs of joy and praises! Jesus is our greatest possession,  share Him not sell Him!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The need for repentance...do you?

Acts 2:38-39 NKJV

Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”

******
Shalom! Day #338.  Do you know that the promise salvation and the gift of the Holy Spirit is for you and to your children? Let's pray.  Father, with repentance we draw near to You. Let the works of Your salvation be made complete in our lives and let Your Holy Spirit to come upon us right now as we humble ourselves in repentance and seek Your face. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. Nowadays we don't hear this much. We are litening to grace teachings, prosperity teachings, but we seldom hear this. Jesus is once again reminding us today,  to draw near to Him in repentance and in humbleness and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. I'm saying this not because I am too holy, but its every believers and non-believers struggle. Jesus came to this world to search and rescue the lost, and the lost that was saved not be lost again but to go and search and rescue the lost. He saved you with a purpose for a purpose. Only one person is capable to destroy the purposes of God,  which is our oneself.

Now, why there is a need for repentance? Through repentance,  we are restored to God. Through repentance we are revived. Through repentance we inherit the promises of God for our lives. Through repentance we inherit the gift of the Holy Spirit. There is a need for you and I to repent and be made whole once again. Humble ourselves and come to God in repentance.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Do you love Jesus more than anything else...?

John 21:15-17 NKJV

So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs.” He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Tend My sheep.” He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.

******
Shalom!  Day #337. Do you know that there is no turning back for everyone who serves the Lord? Let's pray. Father, we pray that we may not waver, falter or even turning back in serving You. Jesus, no matter how hard and tough it may be, continue to strengthen us as we serve You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Jesus asked Peter, "do you love Me more than these?" "These" Jesus is referring to the 153 fish Peter caught ealier. Peter, decided to go back to his previous profession as a fisherman. Because, he might have thought that Jesus is no longer in earth, their hopes are shattered, so he choose to go back. Even in that situation, Jesus did not scold him or rebuke him at first. All He said was to cast the net on the right side of the boat. Even Jesus prepared fire coal and some fish were laid on it and bread for their breakfast. As I was reading this verse, this conversation between Jesus and Peter grabbed my attention. I was like what are you trying to say Lord?

As I was reading it again and again,  I realized that Jesus kept asking Peter the same question for 3 times. And I was wondering, why 3 times? And it came to my mind that this same Peter,  denied Jesus 3 times. For every denial,  there is a price to be paid! Peter had to pay the price. This is what the Holy Spirit taught me. So let's open up our hearts to receive from God.

1. Do you love me more than these....feed My lambs.
⊙ do you love Jesus more than anything else?

-> this is the question of the day! Do you love God more than anything else? More than you spouse, your family, your statuses, your riches, your piled up pHds? Do you love God more than the blessings and miracles you received? Or you love God because of the blessings and miracles you received? Some people just love God because of the blessings and miracles they receive from Him. Then Jesus go on saying, FEED MY LAMBS. Lambs is young sheeps. In this verse,  if you love Me then feed the young believers,  disciples, feed them spiritually and make sure they grow.

2. Do you love me..... tend My sheeps..
⊙ now this is the second time Jesus is asking Peter. The question is again, why?

-> Well, let me tell you something as a servantor God. Jesus already knew what Peter is going to answer. If the same question Jesus ask us today, oh He very well knows whether are we confessing it with all our hearts or just a lip service. The 1st question is to see how far the willingness we have to doing our service for God. Now the second question is to test how faithful we are in taking care or looking after the things, the ministry, the souls, the church, the works which He has entrusted to us. Are we doing it with all diligence? Are we doing it excellently? The word "tend" in Greek word is POIMAINO, means to attend to, to look after. Basically it means to take care, to nurture, to nurse. Are we taking good care of the things He has entrusted towards us?

3. Do you love Me..... feed My sheeps...
⊙ by now I believe Peter could have felt annoyed. I'm just guessing.

-> at this point, I believe Peter confessed it wholeheartedly, with all his life that he loves the Lord more than anything else. Anyways,  again here we can see that Jesus is stressing on feeding His sheeps. Previously was, feed My lambs. Now feed My sheeps. Sheeps are actually grown-up lambs.  Continue feeding the grown-up lambs. Continue to care for My sheeps till I come again. Continue to lead them. Continue to nurture them. Continue build their faith. Continue to do what you have been doing for Me , in My name. No matter how hard it can be, no matter who complains against you, no matter who's trying to pull you down, no matter how tough it can be, continue to stand strong and take care of my sheeps till I come.

Well,  I believe that I have delivered to you what the Holy Spirit has to say to every individuals who reading this simple yet powerful devotion. Do you love Jesus more than anything else?

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

No doubt, just believe...!

John 20:27, 29, 31 NKJV

Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.” Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

******
Shalom! Day #336. Do you know that you are called blessed because you believed in Jesus yet you haven't seen Him? Let's pray. Father, we are privileged that You have saved us, chosen us to be the partakers of Your kingdom. As it is written,  the just shall live by faith, therefore teach us daily to live by faith for the things which You have planned for us. Jesus, we pray this prayer, help us in our unbelieve, take away our doubts,  desolve our fear. I want to be a person of trust, a man and woman that would stand in faith and not doubt. In Jesus name we ask and prayer, amen!

Doubt is the killer and destroyer for a believer. Even in any relationships, either husband and wife, friends, family, if doubt is present, then it is the beginning of the destruction of that relationship if it is not dealt with. Many of us do doubt. There is no one person without doubt. Thomas, did not believe when the disciples said that they have seen the Lord. And because of doubt in his heart, Thomas said, unless I see and touch His wounds, then I will believe. At that very moment, Jesus encountered Thomas and dealt with the doubt in Thomas's heart. We need this kind of encounter by the Holy Spirit to convict us of our doubt filled heart. Doubt is the sin God hates most.

The bible has the keys to break the power of doubting upon our lives.

1. The just shall live by faith (Hebrew 10:38)
⊙ Apostle Paul, is one amongst the man of the bible who lived by faith. I admire his faith in Christ Jesus. And I hope that I can have such faith.

-> in 2 Corinthians 4:13 Paul said, "I believe therefore I have spoken." In this passage, let me paraphrase it. Paul is telling that though I haven't seen my miracle, yet because I believe in Jesus therefore I confess it into the spiritual realm and believe that I have receive it. I believe, therefore I have spoken. Speak into the spiritual realm the things unseen, and see it happen anf created into the natural.

2. Because you have seen me, you have believed.
⊙ most of us, we believe in God when we have seen our prayers being answered.

-> the bible says in Mark 11:24, therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them and you will have them. In this word, Jesus is rebuking us indirectly for our unbelieve.  When you pray 1st you must believe and second you must receive it by faith. Faith is not build on miracles. Faith is not founded on miracles. Many Christian pray for miracle to happen, but they aren't willing to believe or to trust in God.  For them when the miracle happens, then they would choose to believe! Folks, again I say here, faith is not build on miracles! Faith build on your willingness to trust God! God expect us to trust in Him wholeheartedly and with all our hearts, but it is impossible to please God if there is no faith in us!

3. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.
⊙ God is not looking for some great powerful religious organizations. He is looking for individuals, He is looking for man and woman of God who have been through the flood, who have been through the fire, who have been tested and come through with faith, tested as gold, tried in the fire!

-> you are blessed because you have served faithfully, believed with all your heart and with all your life. Because you choose to believe in Him without seeing! God is able to deliver you! You are a testimony in the making. Daniel was thrown into the lion's den. He did not believed after he saw the miracle but even before he saw his deliverance, he believed! God did not deliver Daniel out of the lion's den, but He delivered him in the lion's den! In that lion's den, Daniel saw his miracle after he believed in God!

Are you so doubtful of God's ability to deliver you? This is still the question of the day, "Is your God is able to deliver you? Is your God able to sustain you in hard times?" Why are you so fearful and not believe in God? Don't doubt God even in your difficult times! People are looking at your faith! People are watching you how deep are you willing to trust God. People are waiting to see what kind of testimony will you become! No doubt, just believe!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

You aren't of this world...!

John 17:15-19 NKJV

I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.  They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.  Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.  As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.  And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.

******
Shalom!  Day #335. Do you know that Jesus is still interceding for us? Let's pray. Father, we come to you with the confidence in our hearts that You are still interceding for us. Sanctify us constantly with Your truth, for Your word alone is the truth we hold on to. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

God sent us to this world not to take us back before our time, but to stay in this world and to defeat the world. Although we are staying in the world but we do not belong to the world. We belong to the Kingdom of God sent to this world to do His will and to accomplish His purpose. Jesus came to set in order everything that's not in order. He came that we through His truth, His word be sanctified.

It is written that Jesus did not pray that God would take us out of this world, but He prays for us to be sanctified, to be strengthened,  to be empowered,  to stand strong as we walk in this world, as we fight the battle of faith, as we do the works of God. Jesus called us and selected us and send us into the world. He sent us as sheep's amongst the foxes. He is still praying for us so that we may not falter but stand strong. Therefore do not be afraid to face the world,  but always remember Jesus has overcome the world. Jesus was in great agony as he prepared to face death. Although Jesus cried out to God, asking to be delivered, he was prepared to suffer humiliation, separation from his Father, and death in order to do God's will. At times we will undergo trials, not because we want to suffer, but because we want to obey God. Let Jesus' obedience sustain and encourage you in times of trial. You will be able to face anything if you know that Jesus Christ is with you.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Be of good cheer...!

John 16:33 NKJV

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

******
Shalom! Day #334. Do you know that people, especially the believers of Christ are living in uncertainty? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for the uncertainty in us when we know that You are all we need in order to live in this world. Forgive us for the doubt in us. Forgive us for not applying Your living word in our daily walk. Come and fill the emptiness of our hearts and life. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

It's a scary scary world we live in. Allow me to tell you a fact as a believer and a servant of God. People especially the believers of Christ,  Christians are living in uncertainty, fear, doubt, insecurity, living in emptiness of life, the feeling of that there is nothing more to life and many more. Are you in any of this category? Well that's the fact. Yet, in today's word, Jesus is reminding us about all this things which He has spoken to his disciples 2000 years ago. And again He is reminding us again today. If you still remember that I have shared regarding faith vs fear. In that simple sharing, we looked into the characters, attitudes and actions of Jesus in the midst of the storm. He slept soundly on the pillow because there was and is peace in Him. Again Jesus is reminding us again. Why are you living in uncertainty, insecurity,  fear, doubt, living in the emptiness of life? You are constantly being worried of having nothing in your social life, because you gave your time in doing His works. Let me tell you something.  If you enjoy doing the Lord's work, well you emptiness is filled with peace and joy, else if you are struggling and forcing yourself to serve and do His will, you will never ever find joy and true peace.

Ok, well let's get back to track. Jesus did not promised a bed of roses in our walk with Him, yet He promised one thing that He is with us till the end of age. In the world, you may have tribulations. I told you, no bed of roses! You may be tempted, you may lose your hope. You may feel empty. You may feel that you are such a loser. Oh yes, face it people that's the fact! Yet there is something in this verse that Jesus is trying to tell us.

1. Be of good cheer.
⊙ well,  can you tell me how to be joyful in all the things we are going through in our lives? Well, Jesus has the answer!

=> in James 1:2-4 NKJV it's written that, "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." Yes! Count it all joy! Because, even if you feel that you fall into various trials and tribulations and tempted over and over again, remember that it's a test of your faith. Some can stand it and some failed it. Because though they may have faith, but their faith did not produce patience and that the patience is not able to have its perfect work in every situations. So for those who endure and persevere it, their faith is tested and it produces patience in them and their patience worked out a perfect work that they may be perfect, complete and lack nothing! Count it all joy! Never feel that you are alone,  Jesus is your perfect strength that you need! The heavenly hosts are cheering for you to finish the race.

2. I have overcome the world!
⊙ yes, this is the next point! Jesus overcomed the world!

=> when I look back again into the temptations Jesus went through during His 40 days and nights of fasting and prayer, I can tell you that what I am going through now it's nothing compared to what He had gone through,  not even close. Jesus set's a wonderful example for us to not to give up because He did not gave up in any of the temptations in any circumstances. All you need is Jesus in you. When we go through all the events of our lives, good times we remember that God is with us but at bad times we forget that God is with us also. In Romans 8, it's written that we are more than conquerors. It's because Jesus, our Victor, has conquered all the earth and everything. When you acknowledge the presence of God is with you whether in good or bad times, you will never ever feel depressed and being compressed by every events comes by you life.

Jesus overcame the world! What about you? You are more than conquerors!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
