The earthen vessels...!

II Kings 4:2-7 NKJV

So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.” Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors—empty vessels; do not gather just a few. And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.” So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the  vessels to her; and she poured it out. Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her, “ There  is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased. Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.”

******
Shalom! Day #120. Do you know that you have treasures in earthen vessels? Let's pray. Father, we pray today that let us not run out of oil but let there be a continuous supply of it. Thank You Lord. In Jesus name we pray, amen!

The Hebrew word for oil is "SHEMEN." Oil is used for cooking, medicament or for anointing. We have kept the oil in the earthen jars and have not use it. Here Elisha is asking that certain women to borrow vessels from her neighbour because God is about to do something extraordinary with the jar of oil she has. What are we doing with our treasure in the earthen jar? Are we using it to see the unstoppable blessings of God or we are just keeping it safe and secured and there is no multiplication taking place?

II Corinthians 4:7 NKJV

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.

Make sure you are not run out of your oil. There are a lot of empty vessels that needs to be filled. We are the oil and the empty vessels are souls that are longing to be filled. As you keep on pouring and pouring and pouring, there will be souls be filled. When you invest you time, money, talents, blessings into the lives of unbelievers, you shall see a great return. A great harvest. The jar of oil you have can do wonders when it's in the hands of God.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The root of problems...!

II Kings 2:20-22 NKJV

And he said, “Bring me a new bowl, and put salt in it.” So they brought it to him. Then he went out to the source of the water, and cast in the salt there, and said, “Thus says the Lord : ‘I have healed this water; from it there shall be no more death or barrenness.’ ” So the water remains healed to this day, according to the word of Elisha which he spoke.

******
Shalom! Day #119. Do you know that a problem is solved when you get back to the root or the source that created that problem? Let's pray. Father, we pray give us wisdom and knowledge in tackling the issues of our lives as well as the problems we face. In Jesus name we pray, amen!

A problem is solved when you have identified the cause or the root or the source of the problem. Many people the choose rather not to solve the problem, but to run away from it. For example, Elijah was running away from Jezebel because he was afraid that she would kill him. Now Jezebel is the root or the source of Elijah's problem. He hid himself in a cave and God had to come looking for him, and asking him What are you doing here, Elijah? And God said go back to what I have asked you to do. The verse we read just now, people came to Elisha and they complained about the problem in the water. Those days they don't have water purifying personnel. They will ask the prophets to do the job... hahaha. Ok well back to the story. Elisha said, “Bring me a new bowl, and put salt in it.” So they brought it to him. Then he went out to the source of the water, and cast in the salt there, and said, “Thus says the Lord : ‘I have healed this water; from it there shall be no more death or barrenness.’" A bowl of salt for healing the water. Elijah identified the source and solved the problem.

Today, if you take time to identify the root or the source of the problems that your are going through, you will come out of it victoriously. There are the roots of bitterness, roots of rejection, roots of hatred, roots of lust, roots disappointments, roots rebellion, roots of poverty mentality, roots of disobedience. This is just a few which I have listed. Get back to the root and deal with it. Allow God to bring healing and restoration into that area.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The Word...!

I Kings 22:5 NKJV

Also Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, “Please inquire for the word of the Lord today.”

******
Shalom! Day #118. Do you know that your life is all about every word that proceeds from the mouth of God? Let's pray. Father, we commit our life to You and let it be built on a strong foundation  of Your word. Let our life be based on the truths of Your word. In Jesus name we pray, amen!

Are you starting your day with the word of God? Life begins when you have the True Living Word in you. When you don't have the Living Word of God in you, then there is no life in you. Yeah physically you are alive, but spiritually dead. In Matthew 4:4 NKJV But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ” Every word.. EVERY WORD! People say, life begins at 40, but I say LIFE BEGINS WHEN YOU HAVE KNOWN THE TRUTH AND THE LIVING WORD OF GOD - Jesus Christ.

Joshua 1:8 NKJV
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Psalms 1:2-3 NKJV
But his delight is in the law of the Lord , And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.

This two verses affirms it and another in

Psalms 119:25 NKJV
My soul clings to the dust; Revive me according to Your word.

The word of God must be the very reason why we are alive. Adam was given life into him by the breath of God. But we live with a solid foundation of the word of God. The Word of God - it's more than meets the eye. If you have The Word, you have life. And LIFE BEGINS WHEN YOU HAVE KNOWN THE TRUTH AND THE LIVING WORD OF GOD - Jesus Christ.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

What are you doing here...?

I Kings 19:11-13 NKJV

Then He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord .” And behold, the Lord  passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord , but the Lord  was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord  was not in the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord  was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice. So it was, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave. Suddenly a voice came to him, and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”

******
Shalom! Day #117. Do you know that people think that God is in a stone, in a tree, in here in there, but for fact the forget to listen to that still Voice that's speaking to them? Let's pray. Father, let us be sensitive is listening to Your voice instead of running here and there searching for The "image" of God Himself. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

This is a serious question the Lord is asking us today... "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" What purpose of your salvation? Is it only for you? What are doing with the calling of God upon your life? Many of want to chase God, but we always fail to listen to that still Voice speaking to us. We think God is here and God is there, yes He Is omnipresent, and where you are at, you can feel His presence and listen to His still voice speaking to us when we seek Him with all our hearts. A strong wind came, but God wasn't in it. The earthquake came and the Lord wasn't in It. Then fire came and again the Lord wasn't in it. We are mesmerized by events surrounding us and we think God Is in it and we go to see it yet we return empty handed. WHY? Because God wasn't in it! We are attracted to the things happening around us and we forget to listen to the still VOICE speaking to us and asking us this question WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?

Now Elijah was running away from Jezebel. He was hiding in the cave. And it caused God to come and look for him! We are also like that. We run away from problems  and we think it is settled. IT IS NOT! We are not cowards! Be like a man and face the problems! Be bold and fight it. Elijah was called to defeat Jezebel, but he ran away, because he was afraid that Jezebel would kill him. Your calling is important. What you have been called to do, do it. You better do it! Oh, JUST DO IT! When you run away, God knows where you are hiding. There is a quote "YOU CAN RUN, BUT YOU CANNOT HIDE." Elijah tried to run and hide but God found him and He asked him WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE, ELIJAH." Are you running away from the call of God today? It's time for you to heed the Voice of God and begin to do His will. Again, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Secret place...

I Kings 17:2-4 NKJV

Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, “Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.”

******
Shalom! Day #116. Do you know that miracles happens when you go to your secret place? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for not coming to the secret place to seek You and be in Your presence. Bring us to Your secret place once again. In Jesus name we pray, amen!

Psalms 139:15 My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, And skilfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

Why secret place?
It is in that secret place YOU and I was created. Psalms 139:15 ..... when i was made in secret...
It is in that secret place God creates a leader.
It is in that secret place; God renews our strength, faith, spirit and a renewed vision.

Secret place is where God gives us visions and revelations. The word of God says, “Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith." Brook Cherith, if you look at the map of Israel, it is at far far eastward location from Jordan. Now God is saying to Elijah, get away from here... it means He saying "GET OUT OF YOUR BUSY LIFE, GET OUT OF WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING AND GO TO THE SECRET PLACE WHERE NO ONE KNOWS." Secret place is where you seek God. Pray. Communicate. Revive. Refreshed. Restored. Empowered. Discipled. In the secret is where God creates creative miracles for you. Elijah was just a man like all of us, but he has a different kind of character than most of us. He is a prayerful and prayer filled man. A great leader spends most of his or her time In praying. A leader is created in the quality time we spend with God. The quality time we spend with God will shape our personal life to be able to lead. A leader is made from nothingness to become something in the secret place. Miracles do happen when you go to your secret place.

When you go to your secret place, you will witness His supernatural power and miracle. Can you imagine, ravens, the scavenger birds and greedy. They won't share their food with any other. God causes the ravens to bring food for Elijah. This shows the creative miracles of God. When you are at your secret place, God will cause His provisions to overcome you! He will even cause the person who you know not of to supply whatever you need! You were made in secret!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The Coin...

I Kings 16:2-3 NKJV

“Inasmuch as I lifted you out of the dust and made you ruler over My people Israel, and you have walked in the way of Jeroboam, and have made My people Israel sin, to provoke Me to anger with their sins, surely I will take away the posterity of Baasha and the posterity of his house, and I will make your house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat.

******
Shalom! Day #115. Do you know that bad leadership can cause the followers to astray and falling into sin? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for leading a sinful life and leading Your people into sin. We repent. Lest not us be removed from Your plans for us. In Jesus name we pray, amen!

Sinful leadership can cause the followers to lead a sinful life as well. For example, a coin. A coin it has two sides. One is the picture another is the value. Leaders, including myself, may be leading a two side life. The picture of the coin is just showing that the coin has this picture, whereas the other side is the real value of the coin is stated. Now we may be like the picture on the coin. We are picturing a holy life, a righteous life, but then the real value of a person is at the other side. I put myself for example, outwardly it may seem like I am so actively involved in doing His work, living a righteous life, a holy life, a blameless life. BUT....BUT no one knows what's happening at the other side of my life. You understand what I say?  I may be using the outward to cover-up my inward so that people wouldn't know what's happening in the inward. Shall I say, I am the greatest hypocrite then. Living a double life. It reminds me of the Batman's enemy TWO FACE. If I, being a leader living in sin, but preaching to my followers do not live in sin, I am the greatest hypocrite ever. I have been living a lie. The word of God says "Inasmuch as I lifted you out of the dust and made you ruler over My people Israel, and you have walked in the way of Jeroboam, and have made My people Israel sin..." Promotion comes from the Lord. The Lord took me from the rubbish bin, washed me, teaches me, restored me, cleansed me, and gave me an opportunity to serve Him and promoted me to a position of leadership. Yet, my life is still going back to the rubbish bin and I'm using the outward to cover-up the inward life.

Are we in this kind of situation? Be single hearted and single minded. It's never too late to repent. I have learned a lesson from this word and the illustration God gave from the coin. We have been chosen by God to serve Him, therefore serve Him with all our hearts. Take time to evaluate our heart and service to God. Be single hearted and single minded in serving Him.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

You are a child with a destiny and purpose...!

I Kings 13:2-3 NKJV

Then he cried out against the altar by the word of the Lord , and said, “O altar, altar! Thus says the Lord : ‘Behold, a child, Josiah by name, shall be born to the house of David; and on you he shall sacrifice the priests of the high places who burn incense on you, and men’s bones shall be burned on you.’ ” And he gave a sign the same day, saying, “This is the sign which the Lord has spoken: Surely the altar shall split apart, and the ashes on it shall be poured out.”

******
Shalom! Day #114. Do you know that for every child born has a destiny and purpose to serve? Let's pray. Father, help us to see the destiny and purpose that You have for us for our lives. Lord unveil our destiny. In Jesus name we pray, amen!

The name Josiah in Hebrew means "WHOM JEHOVAH HEALS." Josiah even before he was born, the Lord has foretold about his birth and what He will do through Josiah. If you read 2 Kings 22, Josiah becomes a king when he was 8 years old and reigned for 31 years. Josiah's birth serves a destiny and purpose. Even before you were born, God has foretold about your birth in Jeremiah 1:5, 10 NKJV “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant.” This is your destiny, your purpose. To embark on this destiny is your choice. Unless and until we have understand the purpose we are here, we would still be blinded to the destiny and purpose which God has prepared ahead of us. Josiah, predestined to be the deliverer of Israel from her wicked ways. Have you known your destiny and your purpose today?

Destiny is a choice!

Let not your heart turned away...!

I Kings 11:6, 9-10 NKJV

Solomon did evil in the sight of the Lord , and did not fully follow the Lord , as did his father David. So the Lord became angry with Solomon, because his heart had turned from the Lord God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice, and had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods; but he did not keep what the Lord had commanded.

******
Shalom! Day #113. Do you know that there is something that can cause us to turn our hearts from the Lord? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for turning away from You. Lord we pray that You would remove everything that's making us to stumble and to turn away from You. In Jesus name we pray, amen!

What are the things that making us to turn away from God? What are the things that's become a wall of hindrances between us and God? It could be our attitude. It could be our bad habits. It could be a wrong relationship. It could be the unwanted desires in our hearts. When we say "for me to live is Christ..."  it means the fullness of Christ abides in us as we abide in the fullness of His life. It means not giving an inch or even a centimetre of space for the worldly things in our lives which can make us to turn away from God, but our life fully governed by the Lordship of Jesus Christ! Our attitude - stubbornness, rebellious spirit, hatred, bitterness, not submitting to higher level of leadership - this to may cause us to turn from God. As written in Songs of Solomon 2:15 NKJV Catch us the foxes, The little foxes that spoil the vines, For our vines have tender grapes. That little foxes may seems to be cute, but they are the ones that will ruin your life and make you to turn away from God.

When you fully wholeheartedly follow the Lord, yes there will be challenges, be bold to take the challenges and fight it. Do not relent and give up. When you fall, you rise again. Again when you fall, you rise up again! Just don't give accuses to make you to turn away from God.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Integrity of heart and in uprightness...!

I Kings 9:4-5 NKJV

Now if you walk before Me as your father David walked, in integrity of heart and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded you, and if you keep My statutes and My judgments, then I will establish the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever, as I promised David your father, saying, ‘You shall not fail to have a man on the throne of Israel.’

******
Shalom! Day #112. Do you know that requires a leader or a follower with INTEGRITY OF HEART AND IN UPRIGHTNESS? Let's pray. Father, we pray that You would restore integrity and uprightness in our hearts today as we follow You and lead others. In Jesus name we pray, amen!

INTEGRITY, means
1. Steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code.
2. The state of being unimpaired; soundness.
3. The quality or condition of being whole or undivided; completeness.

The Lord requires us to walk before Him in integrity of heart, in honesty, in truth, in steadfastness to produce a quality leadership and followers. This are a few characters the Lord requires of from His people. A leader with integrity of heart, a righteous person, a person that does not seek to please man but God. A person who keeps and do His statutes and His judgements. Is there a person in such requirements in this generation? In Hebrew word, integrity is "TAMAM" which means "one who is morally and ethically pure." Pure in everything we do.

When you walk before God in purest of your heart, He will establish every work you do. He will prosper every work you do and you shall not be in lack of supply, forever says the Lord!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Inclining our hearts to God...!

I Kings 8:57-58, 61 NKJV

May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers. May He not leave us nor forsake us, that He may incline our hearts to Himself, to walk in all His ways, and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, which He commanded our fathers. Let your heart therefore be loyal to the Lord our God, to walk in His statutes and keep His commandments, as at this day.”

******
Shalom! Day #111. Do you know that verse we read above is a prayer of our forefathers, precisely, king Solomon? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for not heeding the prayers of our forefathers and not walking on it. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

This prayers turned into the promises of God for us. Jesus said, I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU, NOR FORSAKE YOU. The purpose of God is to bring us back to Him. To bring our hearts to Him back in repentance. Let your heart therefore be loyal to the Lord our God, to walk in His statutes and keep His commandments, as at this day. Therefore this generation, their hearts is the main target for God. Again, what is the condition of our hearts today? Are we yielding our hearts wholeheartedly towards God?

God is looking at the hearts of this generation today, now! Are we walking in all His ways? Are we Keeping and doing His commandments? Come, it's time to evaluate our hearts and to bring it into the submission of God.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Building the temple...!

I Kings 6:11-14 NKJV

Then the word of the Lord came to Solomon, saying: “ Concerning this temple which you are building, if you walk in My statutes, execute My judgments, keep all My commandments, and walk in them, then I will perform My word with you, which I spoke to your father David. And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake My people Israel.” So Solomon built the temple and finished it.

******
Shalom! Day #110. Do you know that we are the temple of God? Let's pray. Father, we come to You today. We are not capable of building a righteous and holy temple for You with our own strength, therefore Lord help us. We need Your divine guidance, divine intervention in building for You this temple. In Jesus name we pray, amen!

The bible says, we are the temple of the Holy Spirit. The question is, HOW ARE WE BUILDING HIS TEMPLE NOW? How is the condition or the progress of the building of His temple now? Are we building It according to His master plans? If you walk in My statutes, execute My judgments, keep all My commandments, and walk in them, then I will perform My word with you, which I spoke to your father David. This is what God promised to king David. We will progress and grow in Him if we walk in His statutes, execute His judgements or shall I say His plans and purposes, keep His commandments and walk in them. Keeping and walking. Not just talking but walking as well. We are good in talking about His commandments, but many fail to walk it.

Now, beginning of a building is laying of a solid foundation. Jesus is our firm foundation and He is our Rock of salvation that cannot be moved. When you are built on Him, you will progress, you will grow, you will expand and enlarge, you will allow the Holy Spirit to lead you and guide you into a righteous and holy living. You are not building it on your own.

I Corinthians 6:19 NKJV

Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who  is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Selfishness

I Kings 3:11-14 NKJV

Then God said to him: “Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked long life for yourself, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice, behold, I have done according to your words; see, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has not been anyone like you before you, nor shall any like you arise after you. And I have also given you what you have not asked: both riches and honor, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the kings all your days. So if you walk in My ways, to keep My statutes and My commandments, as your father David walked, then I will lengthen your days.”

******
Shalom! Day #109. Do you know when you make a request to God, most of the time its for ourselves? Let's pray. Father, forgive us if we have requested to You things for our self gain. In Jesus name we pray, amen!

Romans 15:1-2 NKJV We then who are strong ought to bear with the scruples of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification.

King Solomon, requested wisdom and understanding from God to enable him to judge the peoples of Israel. He did not ask anything else, but this WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING, that would be a great help in the administration of the nation under him. In regard to the request, God replied, “Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked long life for yourself, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice, behold, I have done according to your words; see, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has not been anyone like you before you, nor shall any like you arise after you." Wow! Beginning of a great name is a humble beginning and remain humble along the way.

When God gives you something, let it be a great help for others. When you do it, God will not just give what you have asked but also a few bonuses as well. Just do not use it for self gain. Be a channel of blessing to others. Selfishness destroys His blessings.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Abide. Grow. Bear.

I Kings 2:3-4 NKJV

And keep the charge of the Lord your God: to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments, and His testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn; that the Lord may fulfill His word which He spoke concerning me, saying, ‘If your sons take heed to their way, to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul,’ He said, ‘you shall not lack a man on the throne of Israel.’

******
Shalom! Day #108. Do you know that when you abide in the Lord, you shall see your life grow in Him and bear eternal fruits! Let's pray. Father, we come before you today and we pray that as we grow in You, let us bear eternal fruits as well, as we live according to Your words and Your will. In Jesus name we pray, amen!

When we abide in Him, we grow. As we grow, make sure we bear good fruits. People may see that we are growing, but, only the fruits we bear determines whether it's a good tree or not. People around us are watching us grow, but they haven't tasted the fruits we bear. How to bear fruits? Abiding in Him alone isn't just enough. You must bear fruits. You grow when you abide in Him. You bear fruits when you do what He says. DO means to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments, and His testimonies. And the after effects of doing what He says is that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn; that the Lord may fulfill His word. Prosper, bear fruits. Abiding in Him means living a life pleasing unto God.

John 15:4 NKJV

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Be still and remain silent...

II Samuel 22:2-3, 18-19, 40 NKJV

And he said: “The Lord  is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, My stronghold and my refuge; My Savior, You save me from violence. He delivered me from my strong enemy, From those who hated me; For they were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my calamity, But the Lord was my support. For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose against me.

******
Shalom! Day #107. Do you know that when people are against you, the best thing to do is not to retaliate, but remain still and silent before God? Let's pray. Father, we need Your strength and Your mercy to go through this day. There are a lot of people waiting to backstab us, hurt us, but we trust in You alone. In Jesus name we pray, amen!

In Zephaniah 1:7 NKJV Be silent in the presence of the Lord God; For the day of the Lord is at hand... You know, most of the time you are being wronged for no reason. You do this wrong, do that wrong, never do also wrong. People are looking for that one opportunity to find fault with you. They are just waiting to see you fall. They are just waiting to catch you by your own words. But hey, the best thing to do when you are in this kind of situation is not to retaliate, but remain still and silent before God. For the Lord knows how to deal with such people. Here, King David is saying " The Lord  is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; The God of my strength, in whom I will trust." Let me tell you something, not just in the worldly professions, but I've seen it in the ministry of God, servants of God are competing with one another to finish the race, it is a good thing but there are some silent killers - those backstabbers, those haters, those who think you are not worthy of serving and just waiting to see you go out - now how do we deal with such people? Nothing. Absolutely NOTHING TO BE DONE TO THEM, but onething we do is BE STILL, REMAIN SILENT BEFORE THE LORD GOD. God knows how to deal with them. You know, I choose to remain silent and be still when people just falsely accuses me of the things which do not do, or even trying to find fault for the good works that I do. All I say is, LORD VINDICATE YOUR SERVANT! Why? Because I firmly believe that The Lord  is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; The God of my strength, in whom I will trust. And He delivered me from my strong enemy, From those who hated me; For they were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my calamity, But the Lord was my support. The day of the Lord is at hand... in the last days this kind of things will happen, read 2 TIMOTHY 3. And this is the evidence of the day of the Lord is imminent.

Psalms 121:1-8 NKJV

I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord , Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord  is your keeper; The Lord  is  your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore.

For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose against me. Even when facing his enemies, King David's hope and trust is in the Lord. Remain silent before God. Do not waste your energy arguing or fighting it instead let God to be control of that situation. And when God is in control, you will witness the vindication of the Lord. I am not saying that you must relent, but I am saying LET GOD TO WORK OUT THE MIRACLE FOR YOU FOR THE BATTLE BELONGS TO THE LORD.

Psalms 37:7-9 NKJV

Rest in the Lord , and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret— it only causes harm. For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the Lord , They shall inherit the earth.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

A disciplined disciple...!

II Samuel 7:14-16 NKJV

I will be his Father, and he shall be My son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men and with the blows of the sons of men. But My mercy shall not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I removed from before you. And your house and your kingdom shall be established forever before you. Your throne shall be established forever.” ’ ”

******
Shalom! Day #106. Do you know that the Lord disciplines those whom He loves? Let's pray. Father, we we want to truly submit ourselves to you do be discipled and be disciplined by You. In Jesus name we pray, amen!

Proverbs 3:12 NKJV For whom the Lord loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in  whom he delights.

Hebrews 12:6-8 NKJV For whom the Lord loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.” If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons.

I love to be disciplined by my Father, God. It is when He disciplines, that I know He loves me and never let me go from His presence. His love endures forever and i am blessed to be chastened by God. His mercy shall never depart from us who humbles ourselves before Him and allows Him to work in us first, before He can work through us.

When God does His work in us - pruning, purifying, healing, restoration process, cleansing, sanctification - this is Indeed needed for everyone who inspires to be in the line of His servants. As we daily come before Him to be corrected by Him, we grow in Him. And as we grow, He establishes His work and His kingdom through us. If we have sinned, be quick to repent and allow God to disciple and discipline us. If may be painful, but it's worth it!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

He is the reason I am shinning...!

II Samuel 5:10, 12 NKJV

So David went on and became great, and the Lord God of hosts was with him. So David knew that the Lord had established him as king over Israel, and that He had exalted His kingdom for the sake of His people Israel.

******
Shalom! Day #105. Do you know that if the Lord is with, you become great and famous? Let's pray. Father, we pray let us not boast of our achievements for without You we are not able to do anything. We shine because of the reflection of Your glory. In Jesus  name we pray, amen!

From a nobody he became somebody. An influential man, the king he became. I believe that David didn't foresee this coming when he was a shepherd boy. The Lord God was with him from fighting the bears and lion till every great war and conquest. By the age of 30 David was made king. David started small and the Lord was with him. What have we accomplished for the Lord? Do you still remember the point where you started almost with nothing and how the Lord has guided you and brought you to this level, this stage of your life? Yes, you may say "it was my hardwork that has brought me this level," but I tell you, if the Lord was not there, you wouldn't be able to make it to where you are now.

Then David knew that the Lord had established him as a king over Israel. When the Lord is with you, no men can be against you. When the Lord is with you, everything you for the Lord and in the name of the Lord will prosper. When the Lord is with you, no weapons that has been formed against you shall prosper. Do you realize today that the reason you are prospering now is because the Lord is with you? We are shinning because of the reflection of His glory.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Young men, make a difference...!

I Samuel 17:33, 36-37, 45 NKJV

And Saul said to David, “You are not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him; for you are a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.” Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.” Moreover David said, “The Lord , who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” And Saul said to David, “Go, and the Lord be with you!” Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

******
Shalom! Day #104. Do you know that when a youth is amongst the "highly educated" Christians - who think that they know everything - when he or she says something, there is always a bunch of people from that group of "scholars" will always come against their opinions and their capability in doing something? Let's pray. Father, we humble ourselves before You, we pray, we claim Your promises that You will take us higher and deeper in You as we humble ourselves. In Jesus name we ask and pray. Amen!

The word of God in Joel 2:28 NKJV “And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. Young men, youth do not despise your youth, do not say who will listen to me, do not say I don't know how to speak, when you avail yourself to the Lord, you will see the extraordinary things God does through you. Be a young men that will make a difference in this rebellious generation. Be not a person who flows together with the current, but be bold and stand up and stand out of the crowds and make a difference. David saw an opportunity to make a difference in the midst of the unbelieving army. David looked into the impossibility, that there is and opportunity to create a possible real victory. People may despise you, but what the Lord has place into your heart, better do it. It doesn't matter what men would say, let them say, because they a bunch of speakers but no action.  Obey and do what God has placed in your hearts. When you obey and do, you shall witness an unlimited power of God working through you.

The secret of David is, God was with him. He realize that there is one and only one greater power and name, and he bind himself and bowed to that power and name and he fought the battle. God was his strength, his banner, his armour. He realize onething that none of the Israelite armed force realize. They have forgotten that the Lord was present there and that's why they did not dare to fight against Goliath. David made a difference. Be a generation that would make a difference in the midst of this generation knowing that the Lord of host is with you. Make a difference and be the difference!!!!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

How is my heart with Jesus today...?

I Samuel 16:7 NKJV

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the  Lord  does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

******
Shalom! Day #103. Do you know that human always looks for the outward appearance of a person but they fail to see their inward conditions? Let's pray. Father, we commit ourselves to You. We pray that You would give us a discerning Spirit, not jut to look at the outward appearances, but to the inward as well. In Jesus name we pray. Amen!

People say, DO NOT JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S COVER, and some else said, LOOKS MAY BE DECEIVING. Indeed I agree to it. Just because a girl is pretty, every boys want to go after her, because she is pretty. Just because a guy is handsome and have 6 packs, girls want to go after him. But they failed to see their heart. I have come across many people, outwardly they seems to be smiling, laughing, joking around but inwardly their are crying behind the veils and no one Is able to see it except God. Outwardly a person may be so skilled full and talented but that doesn't guarantee that he or she is spiritually growing, living a righteous life, obeying God.

1. God rejects outward appearance of human.

2. He sees for more deeper into your hearts where no human can comprehend.

3. God is looking for a men who Is after His own heart.

4. He values a men by the fruits he produce.

How's the condition of our hearts today? Is it right before God? Let us earnestly seek God and do His will with all our hearts, not to please men, but to please God and Him alone.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Obedience is better than sacrifice...!

I Samuel 15:22-24 NKJV

So Samuel said: “Has the Lord  as  great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord ? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams. For rebellion is  as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is  as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord , He also has rejected you from being king.” Then Saul said to Samuel, “I have sinned, for I have transgressed the commandment of the Lord and your words, because I feared the people and obeyed their voice.

******
Shalom! Day #102. Do you know that our obedience to God is better than sacrifices? Father, as we come before Your throne of grace, forgive us for many at time we have disobeyed Your word and do things according to our desires. May You be delighted in seeing us obeying Your commands and doing it. In Jesus name we pray, amen!

Whoaa I don't take this word lightly. I don't see a sense or humour in it. A direct warning and God is serious about it. Our disobedience can cause us to rebel against God, it is equal to witchcraft and stubbornness equal to iniquity and idolatry. If you are serving God, or God anointed you and pit in a leadership position, or God has brought you to a place of significance, beware, lest you be found in disobedience. Pride is the cause of disobedience. Let not God reject His elected ones. Let there be no trace of disobedience in the camp of the Lord.

Then Saul said to Samuel, “I have sinned, for I have transgressed the commandment of the Lord and your words, because I feared the people and obeyed their voice. It is better to fear God and obey Him than to fear man and obey man! That's why even I walk amongst the "highly educated people," yet they say this and that about me, I still choose to obey God and do what He has placed in my heart. Yes there will be a price to pay for each time you choose to stand for what is right and in doing the right thing. People they will be against you and not for you. But those who are faithful till the end shall be given the victors crown.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Let your fruits speaks for you...!

I Samuel 14:45 NKJV

But the people said to Saul, “Shall Jonathan die, who has accomplished this great deliverance in Israel? Certainly not! As the Lord lives, not one hair of his head shall fall to the ground, for he has worked with God this day.” So the people rescued Jonathan, and he did not die.

******
Shalom! Day #101. Do you know that when people are against you and not seeing what works you do, your fruits will speak louder than the accusation that's being spoken against you? Let's pray. Father, we pray that the works we do in Your name, shall bring forth the everlasting fruits that would speak louder than any accusation. In Jesus name we ask and pray. Amen!

Saul was about to kill Jonathan because of violating the oath that Saul made. We, most of the time judge people without prior investigation. We accuse a person of this and that, yet we are short sighted to the good works that person does. Personally, I have experienced it and I know what I am talking and most of the time I choose to remain silent and my God to vindicate me. In this verse, Saul was about to kill Jonathan, but the people stood for him and testifies for him, because they have seen his accomplishment and Saul did not. When you are being accused for the things you did not do, only your fruits will stand for you and testify for you. Your fruits, your good works. People don't see the good works you do, but if once you have done something wrong, now here comes the accuser and accuse you of this and that. But hey, again, be strong, be bold and never be shaken nor discouraged! When God stands for you, you will prevail because God vindicates you!

As the Lord lives, not one hair of his head shall fall to the ground, for he has worked with God this day. The only reason your fruits speaks for you is because you are not doing men's work, but God's work. You are serving God and not man. When you do His works, He takes care of your needs and problems and the struggles you are going through.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Everyone is replaceable...!

I Samuel 13:14 NKJV

But now your kingdom shall not continue. The Lord has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to  be commander over His people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you.”

******
Shalom! Day #100. Do you know that each one of us is replaceable? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for thinking that there is no one that can replace us or without us the ministry would collapse. It is You that called us, and You have the rights to remove us. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Do not think that you are irreplaceable and without you nothing can work. Do you know that all God needs is a person who willingly says "HERE I AM, LORD." If we have come to that point where we say, without me, God cannot do anything...whoaaaa we are in deep deep trouble! Pride destroys everything God has for us. In this verse we read, Saul had no patience and pride crept in overtook his mind and its like you know he would have said this "ahhh where is this old Samuel? How long more to wait for this old chap? I think it's ok for me to sacrifice, it doesn't matter who does it." And because of what he has done, disobedience, pride and no patience, has cost him his kingdom. Beware, lest we be found at the top level of our pride and arrogance so that He may not remove us from His calling and His purposes.

The Lord has sought for Himself a man after His own heart. The character of a  man after His own heart is - obedience, mighty man, humble, a worshipper, a passionate person for His works, a man who lead by example and not just words. I pray that even to myself, practice what we preach. We may be teaching and preaching biblically but we lead an unbiblical life. Biblical teachings and preaching must be followed with biblical lead and living. I admit, I failed many times and God corrected me and has forgiven when I repent and allow Him to work out the best in me and through me. And yes, with or without me, His works still continues.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Do not Turn Aside...!

I Samuel 12:20-22, 24-25 NKJV
Then Samuel said to the people, “Do not fear. You have done all this wickedness; yet do not turn aside from following the Lord , but serve the Lord with all your heart. And do not turn aside; for then you would go after empty things which cannot profit or deliver, for they are nothing. For the Lord will not forsake His people, for His great name’s sake, because it has pleased the Lord to make you His people. Only fear the Lord , and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you. But if you still do wickedly, you shall be swept away, both you and your king.”

******
Shalom! Day #99. Do you know that when we sin, the guilty conscience in us always tends to bring us far away from His plans and purposes because we have sinned and it makes us to turn back from God? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for we have sinned against You. Let us not depart from You but be restored unto You once again. In Jesus name we ask and pray. Amen!

Most of the time I hear this from people who i have came across with, they say “I am not worthy of serving God any more because i have sinned.” Hey people, the devil been lying to us all this while. We think when we sin we are totally cut off from God, but the truth is when we have sinned and we have acknowledge it before the Lord and come to Him in true repentance, the Lord has forgiven you! No more condemnation! Many servant of God, fall into the trap of the devil, yet they rise again! Because they came to realize the truth that the devil has hidden for ages. We must realize one thing, that the Grace of God is not a license to sin, yet because of His grace we are saved! I am saved by grace not by my works! Do not take His grace lightly and continue to live in sin and run away from His plans and purposes. Do not turn aside from following the Lord , but serve the Lord with all your heart. Only fear the Lord , and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.

Live a sin free life! Even if you have fallen into sin, DO NOT TURN YOUR BACK AGAINST GOD AND LIVE WITH THE GUILTY CONSCIENCE. It will literally bring spiritual death to you. You can run but can never hide from the guilty conscience, unless and until we come before Him and repent wholeheartedly, and God by His grace is willing to forgive us and set us free from the condemnation that the devil has placed on us.

Transformation through the Spirit of God...!

I Samuel 10:6 NKJV

Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man.

******
Shalom! Day #98. Do you know when the spirit of God comes upon us, you literally become "another person?" Let's pray. Father we pray, let Your Spirit come upon us, fill us and transform us into a new creation in You. In Jesus name we ask and pray. Amen!

When the Spirit of God is upon us, we literally be transformed into His likeness. His Spirit in us is greater than the spirits in the world. His Spirit enables us to see far more than our eyes can see. His Spirit gives us the abilities to do greater things which we are capable not. When the Spirit of God is upon us, when you pray people get healed, delivered, set free, prophesy. How come? Because it Is not by our might or our power but by HIS SPIRIT which worked through us.

In Isaiah 61, the word of God clearly says, what the Spirit of God is capable of. The Spirit of God gives you the power the bring the goodnews of salvation to humankind. The Spirit of God gives you the authority to trample the serpent. The Spirit of God gives you the authority and power to bind, uproot and destroy every works of the devil. Are you filled with the Spirit of God?

Are you the man and woman...?

I Samuel 2:35 NKJV

Then I will raise up for Myself a faithful priest who shall do according to what is in My heart and in My mind. I will build him a sure house, and he shall walk before My anointed forever.

******
Shalom! Day #97. Do you know that if a generation rebels against God, God will raise up a person from within that generation and baptized that person with the deep pain, the anguish of what God feels in His heart?

When God sees something is totally wrong in this generation, He will literally raise up person who is willing to stand in the gap for this generation, who say "here I am Lord," and baptize him with the anguish and the agony that God feels. For example Nehemiah. God raised a cup bearer to be the governor. Why? Because Nehemiah saw, felt the destruction of Jerusalem. He fasted, he mourned, he prayed and he availed himself to the work of the Lord! He changed his concerned into action!

Are the man or the woman that's willing to stand for this generation bringing His fire to this nation imparting His power to every hearts. Are you willing to go for the Lord?

Baptism of anguish...!

I Samuel 1:10, 27 NKJV

And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to the Lord and wept in anguish. For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition which I asked of Him.

******
Shalom! Day #96. Do you know that a prayer from an anguished heart is what God is looking for? Let's pray. Father baptize us with an anguished heart. Let us not be complacent and satisfied with ourselves and with the prayers which we lift up to you. Take us out from the comfort zone. In the name of Jesus we ask and pray. Amen!

Anguish means extreme pain and distress. The emotion so stirred that it becomes painful. Acute deeply felt inner pain because of conditions about you, in you or around you.  Quoting from a great man of God, Rev. David Wilkerson, " all true passion is born out of anguish. All true passion for Christ comes out of a baptism of anguish." Anguish, deep pain! If you read this verse above, it is written that, " she was in bitterness of soul." Hannah's heart is in deep pain and she prayed. What do you do when you are in deep pain? She lifted up her prayers to God in deep pain of her heart. Folks, where is the anguish in the house of God? Are we even praying in anguish for this generation? She wept in anguish and she prayed! We are so satisfied and complacent in our prayers. We are blind to everything. Nehemiah, he was a cupbearer. God used him, because of the true passion that came out of an anguished heart! He saw what has happened to Jerusalem and he FASTED, PRAYED AND WEPT! Why Nehemiah and not his brothers? Because God saw true passion in him!

Psalms 126:5-6 NKJV Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with  him.

Anguish, deep pain! Will you pray like never before for this rebellious generation? Will there be a true passion out of an anguished heart? Folks, it's getting late and it's getting serious!

"...and the Lord has granted me my petition which I asked of Him." A prayer from an anguished heart is answered by God. It has the power to move God's hand to perform a revival, a miracle, a restoration. Will there be a man or a woman in this generation take the challenge to stand in the gap, to weep, and pray for this generation? True passion comes out of an anguished heart!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Finish it strong...!

Ruth 3:10-11 NKJV

Then he said, “Blessed are you of the Lord , my daughter! For you have shown more kindness at the end than at the beginning, in that you did not go after young men, whether poor or rich. And now, my daughter, do not fear. I will do for you all that you request, for all the people of my town know that you are a virtuous woman.

******
Shalom! Day #95. Do you know no matter how you begin a race, the thing which count the most is how you finish it. Let's pray. Father help us to run the race and finish it strong. In Jesus name we ask and pray. Amen!

It doesn't matter how small you start or where you start, makesure you finish it properly, finish it strong! Greater should be the momentum in the end than it was at the beginning. Another character I learn from Ruth today is, whatever we do, it doesn't matter how small we have started it, or where, makesure we do it with all our hearts and then you will see the fruits of your labour. A sense of satisfaction in the end of every race after winning the gold medal. The momentum in the beginning should not be the same till you reach the finishing line. It must grow in each step you take. By the time we reach the finishing line, the momentum is already greater than the beginning and there is a force that drives us to attain the gold medal. When you do anything with all you heart not as unto man, but unto God, and get God involved in it, you shall see the fruits in the accomplishment of the task. Why? Because the Spirit of God in you is greater than any other things in this world, and the Spirit of God is the force that drives you, without choosing giving up as an option, but finishing it strong! Hallelujah!

Another character I learn from Ruth is, she is a virtuous woman. A good woman, a godly woman, a god-fearing woman. In between the beginning and the end, how is our attitude? It is not just doing it with all our heart and  getting God be involved in the things we do that's produces the fruits, but also our heart attitude in the every little things that God has given to us, how we handle it, what we do with it, is the thing progressing? If a runner or an athlete, he or she even before the race competition, have determined in their hearts to win and attain the gold medal, for sure they will put themselves into intense trainings in building their fitness level. The attitude they have in the training and the determination they have at the beginning of the race, it builds up their confidence as they run the race and at the finishing line, they finished it strong in winning the gold medal. A person with good heart attitude is known by all. A godly person is respected by all. Why? Because the fruits that's being produced speaks louder than any words can do. A good heart attitude person finds favor from God and man.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Turning impossibility into a possible real momentum...

Ruth 2:12 NKJV

The Lord repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge.”

******
Shalom! Day #94! Do you know that a lazy person loses his rewards and blessings? Let's pray. Father we commit ourselves into Your hands, as we diligently do our works and serve You this day, let everything we do prosper and bear fruits. In Jesus name we ask and pray. Amen!

Here in this verse I learn another character of Ruth. She is not a lazy bump, but a diligent woman. Why? Because instead looking up to her mother in-law, she chooses to go and work and make a living. Proverbs says, diligent hands shall rule, the plans of a diligent shall make plenty, the hands of a diligent person shall make him rich. Ruth was an independent woman. She works not just to fill her stomach but as well as to take care of her mother-in-law. Paul was a tent maker. He makesures that he feeds his sheep rather than getting the sheep to feed him. If we are lazy, than we lose the blessings of God.

Another character of Ruth that I learned is, she is not a complainer. Even she has lost her husband and followed Naomi, yet she did not complaint about her situation, but she look into the impossibilities of her life and she turn it into a possible real thing. She took the chances and the opportunities she had and she succeed. The moment we start to complaint, that very moment we loose the sight of His master plans. Why? Simply because by complaining we aren't going to achieve anything. Simply because complaining about the situations we are in is not going to change anything except we choose to do something about it. Turning impossibility into a possible real momentum.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The characters of Ruth...

Ruth 1:16-17 NKJV

But Ruth said: “Entreat me not to leave you, Or  to turn back from following after you; For wherever you go, I will go; And wherever you lodge, I will lodge; Your people shall  be my people, And your God, my God. Where you die, I will die, And there will I be buried. The Lord do so to me, and more also, If anything  but death parts you and me.”

Shalom! Day #93. Do you know that if you are faithful to God, He will reward you in days to come? Let's pray. Father help us to be faithful and loyal to You as we follow You with all our hearts. In Jesus name we ask and pray. Amen!

Today we will look into the life of Ruth. This verse itself describes a few characters of Ruth. The first character I learn from Ruth is, FAITHFUL. No matter how Naomi forces Ruth to go, she is still firm with her decision. Nothing can change her mind. Same goes to us, when we go through the storms of our lives, most of the time we tend to doubt God and leave the faith. Remain faithful to God. Secondly, she is a disciple. For wherever you go, I will go; And wherever you lodge, I will lodge; Naomi, being the leader here, and Ruth is the follower. Whatever Naomi does the same thing Ruth does. A disciple learn from his master. We are the disciples of Jesus Christ, whereby we are to follow His footsteps and be an example.

Thirdly, she is a determined person. She knows and understands the risk she has to face for every decision taken. Do not waver in the decision you make. Finally, she is a woman who willing to try something new. Your people shall  be my people, And your God, my God. She has zero knowledge about Naomi's God or her people, but she is willing to take the challenge and to know this God and the people. She is not afraid of new environment. We are to take challenges and learn something new from what we go through.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Not by might. Not by strength...!

Judges 16:28 NKJV

Then Samson called to the Lord , saying, “O Lord God , remember me, I pray! Strengthen me, I pray, just this once, O God, that I may with one blow take vengeance on the Philistines for my two eyes!”

Shalom! Day #92. Do you know that once you rely upon your own strength, many at times we fail and lead into destruction? Let's pray. Father forgive us for relying upon our own strength and abilities in doing Your work or even putting our hope in human in getting a job done. In Jesus name we ask and pray. Amen!

We always in one way or the other rely on something or someone for getting things done. In this case Samson relied on his hair for the source for his strength, but he did not realize that his strength was from the Spirit of the Lord. As for us, as we walk this life, the 1st thing we must do is pray. Prayer bring us close to God. As we pray, we are revived and re-energized and new strength flows from Him to us.

Not by might, not by strength but by His Spirit says the Lord.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

By His Spirit...!

Judges 8:20 NKJV

And he said to Jether his firstborn, “Rise, kill them!” But the youth would not draw his sword; for he was afraid, because he was still a youth.

Judges 14:6 NKJV

And the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him, and he tore the lion apart as one would have torn apart a young goat, though he  had nothing in his hand. But he did not tell his father or his mother what he had done.

Shalom! Day #91. Do you know that our strength is from the Lord and not from our muscles, or the amulets we use? Let's pray. Father we thank You for this day. Lord we are weak and have no strength, but by Your Spirit we are able to do great and mighty things. In Jesus name we ask and pray. Amen.

We always despise ourselves because we are youth and we think that we are not able to do anything. What can I do with little strength? The bible says in Jeremiah 1:7 NKJV But the Lord said to me: “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak. We must understand onething clearly, IT IS NOT OUR STRENGTH, BUT BY HIS SPIRIT. When you do the will of God, you don't have to use your own abilities to carry out His will, but God Himself will provide His strength, His abilities for us to do His will. Many have read about Samson and Delilah. Even we have watched the movie. Samsons strength was not in his long hair, but the strength was from the SPIRIT OF THE LORD.

We always rely on our own capacity and capability in carrying out His will, but little do we realize that if God calls us HE PROVIDES!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
