Use your youth to glorify God...!

I Timothy 4:12, 14-16 NKJV

Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all. Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

******
Shalom! Day #31. Do you know that your progress must be evident to all? Let's pray. Father, help us to grow in You daily and bring us to a level of spiritual maturity in You. Let us not be a "baby Christians" but grow in wisdom, knowledge and understanding of You. Give us the courage to do greater things for You and in Your name. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

You feel like just because you are a youth, people are looking down to you? Everyone, almost every youth feel like this. The best tag line they always use is "who am I, they are more qualified to serve, not me." God is not looking for those who are qualified but those who are willing and ready to do His will. Let no one despise your youth, it means let no one look down at you because of your age, experience and the level of bible knowledge in you, but be an example in every ways. Aspire to do what people hasn't done. Aspire to be filled with the spirit, a constant desire and hunger after the Holy Spirit. Nowadays people judge a book by its cover, therefore people judge you by how you live and not what's in yoir heart, but God sees your heart. Therefore how you live and grow it will impact as well as affect others. If you are living a godly life, walking with the Lord, serving Him, having a fervent spirit, the willingness to attempt greater things for God,  the readiness to move when God commands, all this becomes a great motivator to other who see you and those who around you.

Do not neglect the things which have been prophesied upon you. Walk it, do it and see it become a reality.  People will respect you when you do something great. Respect, you have to earn it, not ask for it. Today, I am who I am because I learned, I observed, and I do, not doing ordinary things but taking a project which seems so impossible to do yet I take it and accomplish it, breaking through the impossibilities! Because I know with God nothing is impossible.  When people are talking about it, I am already at the field doing it. This is how I grow, yet I am not there yet, I'm moving myself to a place of greater significance in the Lord. Challenge yourself to do greater things. Albert Einstein, Thomas Alva Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, Henry Ford,  all this people just an ordinary people like you and me, but the difference is, they attempt to do things which people have not done before. Have you discovered the extraordinary potential in you which you not known of? Now is the time to do so! Aspire to do greater works, and inspire many other youths to do much greater thins than you have done. Be an example to them.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Abundance of His grace...!

I Timothy 1:12-16 NKJV

And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry, although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life.

******
Shalom! Day #30. Do you know that our lives must be an example to those who going to believe in Jesus and to those who are believing in Him? Let's pray.  Father, let our lives be an example to others in a good way that would build their faith in You. Let us not be a hindrance, but be the one who will love others like You do, care for others like You do, to be an example like Jesus. Use us Lord.  In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Indeed I count it as a privilege to serve God. I am unworthy to serve Him but I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has called me, chosen me and has enabled me , because He counted me faithful and establishing me in the ministry of which He has entrusted to me. Although I was unworthy, a sinner, but by His grace I obtained mercy and salvation and He aligned me to His blueprint for my life. And because of His abundance of grace, I am who I am today. I am the chief of sinners but now I am His beloved. I was lost but now am found. I was living a lie but now I am living in the truth. I was a persecutor but now I am a preacher of His love, goodness, grace and mercy.

This what I do, before I can share the word, I want to the word to be at work in me first. Yes, I'm not perfect but I'm being perfected by His word. So once I have experienced His works, have learnt from His word, then I would share and preach what He has for others. I share by what I learn. So, yeah I want my life to be an example to others and not a hindrance in every way either in faith, hope, or in drawing closer to God. I'm not saying that I have come to a place of the so called tag "big time" preacher, I never want it but I rather choose to be a person than being a personality. As I said, I did not choose to serve Him, even it was the least in my list of life plan, but when God touched my life and took me out from the filthy life, I begin to put God and His will first in my life. I've never regretted! No turning back, no running away anymore! So how about you friends?

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

To establish you in every good word and work...!

II Thessalonians 2:13-14, 16-17 NKJV

But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.

******
Shalom! Day #29. Do you know that the Lord has chosen you to establish in every good word and work? Let's pray. Father, once again with a heart of gratitude, we want to give thanks to You for choosing us to do Your will. As we continue to walk with You, Lord sanctify us daily by Your Spirit and Your truth.in Jesus name we ask and pray,  amen!

From the beginning the Lord has chosen you and set you apart for His purposes. It wasn't by chance that you are serving God today, He chose you even before you were born. He chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit. We are sanctified through the Spirit of God and the powerful truth of His word. You are chosen to obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore your life must be about shining His glory forth. As you allow the Spirit and the truth of God to sanctify you, you will then witness the power of God working through you and in you. The efforts you put in seeking God, as well as in allowing the Spirit of God and the truth of His word to work in your life will shine forth the glory of God. You obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ in your life when you begin to arise and shine!

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work. The Lord will establish you in every good word and work. Just open your heart and allow the sanctification process to begin, and you will witness great and mighty things in your life. The glory of God is able to make you into a history maker. The glory of God is able to take you to a place of greater significance.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Watch out you troublemakers...!

II Thessalonians 1:6-12 NKJV

since it  is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed. Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power, that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

******
Shalom! Day #28. Do you know that God will never let go those who trouble you, persecute you and those who harm you? Let's pray. Father, we thank You for this blessed assurance knowing that You are watching over us and keeping us away from dangers and harms. Lord, we thank You for Your protection.  In Jesus name we ask anr pray, amen!

As I was reading this verse, somehow it came into my spirit regarding the situations that's happening in my country, Malaysia. The whole world knows of what's happening here. I believe strongly that God has installed something greater behind everything that's taken place. From the usage of God's name "Allah" to the confiscation of the bibles and now a molotov bomb was thrown at a church. The persecution has begun.  I believe that the end is at hand and  I believe that the Lord is coming back. In this verse it says that, God will never let go the troublemakers, no matter who they are and He will give rest to the troubled hearts. Wow! And it goes on saying that "in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed." Hallelujah!  The foolish reacts and wage war in flesh, but the people of God reacts and wage war in prayer. We are not against flesh and blood but against the power of darkness that's at work behind certain people. The battle belongs to the Lord and the Lord will avenge those stir up tension and chaos towards the Christians.

We as believers are to remain faithful no matter what happens. Lest we be found unfaithful and turn back against our God and our faith in the midst of the things that's been happening now. I'm speaking generally. It doesn't matter who the troublemakers are, whether at your work place, school, university or wherever you are, He is with you. He is your Father who looks after you. You just got to remain calm and fulfill your calling. This is an opportunity for us to radically proclaim His kingdom on earth. Finally, in whatever you do, make sure that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

He will do it....

I Thessalonians 5:20, 24 NKJV

Do not despise prophecies. He who calls you is  faithful, who also will do it.

******
Shalom! Day #27. Do you know that it is God who called you and He is faithful to complete the calling in your life? Let's pray.  Father, we thank You that You have called us with a holy calling.  Every prophecies spoken to us by Your servants, may it come to past as we do Your will. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Your lives prophecies are meant not to be despised but to see it come to past in our lives and through our lives. There is a saying "dreams come true when you wake up." The prophecies of God will come true when you walk it and live it, don't just receive it but do nothing about it. Do not despise prophecies because it is delivered to you with the power of God upon your life.

He who calls you is faithful. This reminds me of how faithful God is, when He called Abraham out from where he was and to the point of sacrificing Isaac. When Isaac asked Abraham where is the lamb, Abraham replied the Lord will provide. Indeed,  God is faithful and He provided the sacrificial lamb. The Lord is faithful. He called you, and He is able to provide for you, everything you need in the quest to accomplish the ministry or the calling by which you have been called. Not only that, even in your personal life, He is great and mighty to heal, to create a miracle, to provide your every needs for you and your family. The Lord is faithful. He will also do it. Now, as the Lord is faithful, you are required to remain faithful to Him and the calling by which you have been called. Abraham was faithful.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Walk worthy of God...!

I Thessalonians 2:12 NKJV

that you would walk worthy of God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.

*******
Shalom! Day #26. Do you know that each one of us should walk worthy of God who calls us? Let's pray. Father, thank You for the call that You have placed in us and have called us with. Help us to live our lives worthy of Your calling. In Jesus name we ask and pray,  amen!

The Lord has called you with a powerful calling upon your life. You calling isn't a powerless calling, or time past calling or a worthless calling! You have been specifically selected, anointed and perfected in the Lord and through the Lord for this specific time! There is a reason why God has called you with the higher calling. There is a reason why you have been called. If you read in I Peter 2:9-10 NKJV But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. Wow.... You are the chosen generation of God to do greater works in His name. Again I say here, YOU HAVE BEEN CALLED WITH A POWERFUL CALLING. Therefore serve the Lord with all the power that's upon you and the anointing that's upon you is able to create heaven on earth. Signs and wonders shall follow the ministry that you are involve.  Not you run after signs and wonders. You have been called to proclaim the praises of Him who called you.

His kingdom is upon you. His glory has come upon you. Therefore arise and shine for the glory of God has risen upon you! You are to complete and accomplish the call of God,  the assignments that the Lord has entrusted to you. Your focus must be on completing the call of God.  No more wasting time, but to accomplish it. Do your calling with all seriousness and with all your hearts.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

His glory through you...!

Colossians 3:3-4 NKJV

For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who  is  our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

******
Shalom! Day #25. Do you know that you are hidden in Christ,  and when Christ appears,  you will also appear with Him in His splendourous glory to a place of significance? Let's pray. Father, our lives was created in You therefore Lord,  bring us to a place of greater glory and greater significance in our lives.  In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Our life is hidden in with Christ in God. God knows every details of our existence for He is the Creator of our lives. Therefore to solve the mystery of our existence, seacrh the answer in Jesus. The Lord has greater plans for us to shine in His greater glory and to bring us to a place of significance in Christ Jesus.  Jesus is our life. When Chris is in us, His glory will shine forth through us. When Christ appears in all His splendour, you shall together appear with Him.

Allow God to use you as His glorified vessels to make known His glory to this world.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The worlds philosophies can corrupt your beliefs if your aren't strong in the Lord...'

Colossians 2:6-10 NKJV

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

******
Shalom! Day #24. Do you know that without Jesus you aren't complete? Let's pray. Father, Your love and presence completes us. As we continue to walk in You , be rooted and build up in You, help us to grow daily. Let us be rooted in Your word so that we may not give in to false doctrines. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

As I was reading this verse, the Lord reminded me about how easy a believer can give in to the lies of the world. Since you have received Christ as our Lord and Savior, therefore for walk in Him, be rooted and be built in Him so that you would be established in the faith as you have been taught by the servants of God. Many believers are giving to the worlds patterns and philosophies. Being deceived by so called "new age" religions and traditional beliefs. The word of God is our firm foundation. If you build yourselves up on the word of God, then you are able to stand strong and firm because of your unshakeable faith in Jesus. The parable of the wise and foolish builder is a good example for us. One built on a solid rock which is the living and powerful word of God and the foolish builder built on the sands which is the philosophies of the world. Both built the same kind of house. The outside looks the same. But the difference is one is filled with the power of God and the another with all of worldly patterns and philosophies and teachings. And when temptations, trials and testings came by, the one who built on the rock stand strong and firm!

Therefore without Christ in us, we aren't able to stand strong and fight every attacks of the devil that's working through the teachings and philosophies as well as the false doctrines of this world. The sense of completeness is that when Christ is In us. Because in Jesus there is the fullness of Godhead three in one, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus said in the book of John,  "abide in Me and I in you." The word "ABIDE" in Greek is "EPISKENO" which means,  to remain, to encamp, to dwell. When you make Jesus as your home and you live in Him, the power of Christ will descend upon one and will work from within him / her and giving him / her all the help and guidance they need. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Are you anxious...?

Philippians 4:6-7, 19 NKJV

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

******
Shalom! Day #23. Do you know that you don't profit anything by being anxious and worried about a lot of things? Let's pray. Father, teach us to be thankful in every situations and be not anxious for nothing, for we know that You care for us and You hear our prayers and You are able to create a miracle for us. Let Your peace guard our heart and minds today as we surrender all to You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Well, I thank God for speaking to me from this verse. I'm going through a financial situation and as I was reading the Word this morning, suddenly this verse came alive into my spirit and after a while, my mum texting me to read 1 Peter 5:7, I was like, God, You're simply amazing! Why worry or feel anxiety and what profit you get with all this for He cares for you! Amen! The Lord spoke to me as I was reading this verse, and forgive me I doubted for a second, then my mum sms-ed me 1 Peter 5:7. God knows and God cares! Few things I learned today and would like to share it with you.

1. Be anxious for nothing.
⊙ the word "anxious" in Merriam-Webster's dictionary it means
1 : characterized by extreme uneasiness of mind or brooding fear about some contingency : worried <anxious parents>
2 : characterized by, resulting from, or causing anxiety : worrying <an anxious night>

In Matthew 11:28-30 NKJV, Jesus said,"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” And again in Matthew 6:25, 27, 34 NKJV “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?  Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Folks,  if you are going through some situation in your life, be not worry about it because you aren't adding anything or solving anything by doing so. And this bring us to the next point which is.....

2. EVERYTHING by prayer and supplication,  with thanksgiving.
⊙ in the verse which we read just now I'm Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus gives us an invitation to come to Him. Come, let us go to Him by prayer and supplication,  with thanksgiving. It doesn't mean that God don't know what you are going through but He wants us to go to Him by prayer and supplication, humble before God. Supplication speaks about humbling ourselves before God. Lift up your prayers to God in humble manner and giving Him thanks for the unseen miracle! When you come to God, your soul finds rest in Him. Your soul is lifted up with a new hope and strength. All things regarding your life is a prayer away. When you begin to pour out your heart anf pray according to His will, God does His miracle for you! And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

3. My GOD is able and shall supply all you need!
⊙ oh yes! My GOD is richer than what you can imagine!  He own the cattles of the mountains. He owns everything in heaven and in earth! He shall supply! He is able! He will do it! What do you need? Are you facing Financial difficulties? Come to God in humbleness and by prayer and supplication before God! And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Wow....isn't He is simply awesome? Well, what's you condition now? What do you need? Just follow as what is written here or may be you have your own way of coming to God, well whatever it is, humble, pray, believe, see the unseen miracle and DO NOT WORRY!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Let go, reach forward and press on...!

Philippians 3:12-14 NKJV

Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I  do,  forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

******
Shalom! Day #22. Do you know that your past can hinder your growth in Christ if you never let go of it? Let's pray. Father, as we run this race, let not anything hinder us from attaining our winning prize as we focused on You, our goal. Help us to forget and not to hold on to our past which would hinder us. But forgetting those things which are behind and reaching towards our goal in Christ Jesus.  In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Things which we left behind to follow Christ, can be a hindrance if we never deal with it. Sometimes it may seem like we have left and forget the things behind us and following Christ, but actually we are still holding on to it. For example, our bad habits, our unpleasant characters, those things that gave us security. Jesus has lay hold of your life, therefore let not anything of your past hinder you from attaining the goal which the Lord has prepared for you. Do not bridge back to your past, never ever attempt to build the bridge back. So what is holding you now?

1. Let go of what is behind
⊙ one thing I  do,  forgetting those things which are behind. If we kept on holding to our past, it will be the main cause of you aren't growing in the Lord. Don't blame others if you aren't growing in the Lord. Blame it on you because you choose to hold on to your past. Apostle Paul,  said "forgetting those things which are behind", all those things that you once was, all the bad ways, sinful ways. This things can literally crippled you from progressing in the call of God. The call of God is a powerful calling, let not anything hinder you from that call.

2. Reaching forward
⊙ Christian living isn't a stagnant living. You must either progress or remain where you are. It becomes stagnant when you don't bother to do something about your spiritual living. You got to have the kingdom mentality. Kingdom thinking is always on moving forward. Every events that's happened in our lives is to teach us, mold us and to push us to move forward. Those who still holding on to every past events that's happened in their lives,  isn't really living their lives, but dead. The promises of God is a catalyst that causes you to move forward. What is the promises of God for your life? Catch it and run with it. No turning back!

3. Press forward
⊙ let go, reach and press on. You got to press on no matter what happens. Success doesn't happens instantly like instant noodles.  You got to constantly reevaluate your life and learn new things, then you press on towards the goal that's ahead of you. For example, in a football match there is two teams, both focusef on scoring the winning goal. Now, let's say team A, in order to score the 1st goal they will need to go through every defence force, the team B striker,  midfielder, the wingman, the defender, the last man then the goalie. The team A striker isn't crippled with those lineups of defence force, yet the press on to score the winning goal.  It's somewhat same with us too. There may be obstacles in our lives as we walk with God,  serving Him. Every obstacles is good, because you learn new things from it and you grow. But some people, when obstacles come, they choose yo remain where they are and do nothing. They have no any goals in their lives. You don't live in the past. A person who press on, is a person who is able to breakthrough every obstacles!

Someone once said, "yesterday was a history, Tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift and that's why we called it 'present'." As long as you are still living, today is a gift from God,  use it wisely. You full focused must in Jesus. In that manner you're able the attain the goal! Live victoriously! You were created to do greater exploits and greater works. Be a history maker! LET GO, REACH FORWARD AND PRESS ON...!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Jesus... the name above all names...!

Philippians 2:9-11 NKJV

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

******
Shalom! Day #21. Do you know that the day for every tongue to confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, is nearing? Let's pray. Abba Father, give us opportunities to bring Your truth to people and let them repent nad confess their sins and proclaim that You are the Lord and God of their lives. Although many things are happening around us, those people who are persecuting Your church,  the will also confess that Jesus Christ is Lord! In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The name that's been given to Jesus is a Name above all names. And at that name every knee should bow, every power and principalities of darkness shall bow! It is already happening,  that people are persecuting the Christian faith. They literally ridiculing their believes and also burning the bibles, burning the potrait of Jesus and so on. A time will come for this group of people, where as how Jesus encountered apostle Paul,  the same way He will encounter this group of people and transforms from the persecutors of church to the preacher of gospel! This group of people will confess and proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord!

Even the devil recognizes the Lordship and the authority that Jesus has. And that's why the powerful name is given to every believers. In every warfare,  the name of Jesus and the precious blood of Jesus is our weapons of mass destruction towards the works of the devil and againt every power and principalities of darkness. Use the God given authority you have now. Seriously, persecution against Christians is happening everywhere,  almost in every country. What are you doing about it? Are you going to the streets and demonstrate or you pray for God to intervene and do something? Yes, you can rise up to the challenge, but be reminded that we aren't against flesh and blood, but against the power or darknes that's at work behind certain groups of people.

Let no one deceive you...!

Ephesians 5:6-8, 10, 15-17 NKJV

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them. For you were once darkness, but now you  are  light in the Lord. Walk as children of light finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

******
Shalom! Day #20. Do you know that in this last days it is important for you to know and understand what the will of the Lord is for you so that you'll not be deceived and not be partakers of darkness? Let's pray. Father, help us to be alert with the things that's happening right now. As the days are getting evil and more evil, Lord, let it be so that we continue to walk in Your light and wisdom and lean not on our own understanding. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

End time prophecies are coming to past. Many so called servants of God are deceiving people by fake doctrines,  wrong teaching, self satisfying revelations and so on. Even there were few cases recently about an evangelist saying that his private part of his body contains holy milk, and another person, a big time mega church preacher said that God ask forgiveness from him for testing him and another dared to rebuke Apostle Paul, Peter and even say that their teachings are no more relevant at this age. When I read such news, I'm like how come Lord, this people turned out to be like this? The only reason I received is , because of their pride and disobedience they want to be worshipped as "god" and that's the reasons Lucifer was kicked out of heaven. Therefore,  the bible says, therefore do not be partakers with them.

Beware of false servants, be wise to test every spirit. As we are approaching the Day, be wise to know and understand the will of God for your life. Do not be as fools who swing and flow with anything,  but be wise! Do not try to be wise in your own eyes, but allow the Holy Spirit of God to teach you so that you may be able to differentiate true servants and fake preachers. False teachers are jusy about gaining popularity and trying to make their way to be a celebrity.  For this sake they are willing to twist and turn the true gosple of God. Again, do not be misled by this bunch of false teachers.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

What have you learned about Jesus...?

Ephesians 4:20-24, 30 NKJV

But you have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

******
Shalom! Day #19. Do you know that we are to know Him and to make Him known? Let's pray. Father, we want to grow daily in the knowledge of You, to know you more and we want to make You known. Let it be so Lord, that we learn about You and be rooted in You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Folks,  you know, even though I've known the Lord for almost 15 years, still there's a lot to learn about Him, because everyday God gives me a new opportunity to learn and to know about Him. How about you folks? Yes, we have heard about Him and have been taught by Him but many at times we forget about Him, who is Him. We tend to uphold religion than the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. Jesus did not teach religion, He did not bring a new religion but He came so that you and I be reconciled with God, He came to restore our relationship with God. When we are reconciled with God, He starts the process of creating you into a new person. Our old man fell into sin, our new man was created in the salvation power of God. As I mentioned earlier, everyday God gives me a new opportunity to learn and to know Him. So today, let's learn together.

1. Be renewed in the spirit of your mind.
⊙ to know Him is about to learn about Him. It is also to allow Him to fill us with His knowledge about His character, about His Lordship, His power. In Merriam-Webster's dictionary, the word LEARN means

a (1) : to gain knowledge or understanding of or skill in by study, instruction, or experience <learn a trade>
(2) : memorize <learn the lines of a play>
b : to come to be able <learn to dance>
c : to come to realize <learned that honesty paid>
2 a nonstandard : teach
b obsolete : to inform of something
3 : to come to know : hear <we just learned that he was ill>

The work of the Spirit of God in our lives is to renew us from inside out. To restore us to God. To revive us from our fall. So when we begin to give ourselves to know Him, let us also allow Him to teach us a new thing.

2. Put on the new man.
⊙ the knowledge of God to you is able to change us from inside out. Therefore, the power of God is able to create you into a new man, a new creation and this new creation is created according to God's will and design. You were created as a new creation in true righteousness and holiness.

3. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit.
⊙ the Lord recognizes you by the seal of Holy Spirit in our lives and the faith that you have in Him. When we have known the truth, be in the truth live by that truth. When you have known the truth of God, be not living in sin for it grieves the Holy Spirit of God in us.

Therefore folks, we who have known the Lord are to make Him known to all. Tell the world about His love, grace and mercy.  Tell the world about His miracles,  His power that's at work in our lives now.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Riches of His glory...!

Ephesians 3:16-19 NKJV

that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

******
Shalom! Day #18. Do you know that in the fullness of God, you shall see greater glory and greater significance? Let's pray. Father,  we pray that we may be filled with all the fullness of God that You would take us to a place of greater glory and greater significance. Thank You Jesus. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Greater glory and greater significance. This is what God's promise for me personally. The glory of God's temple shall be greater than it was. We are the temple of God.  According to the riches of His glory, God will strengthen you with might and power through His Spirit in the inner man. Well, now God isn't interested with your outer man, but your inner man. Greater glory brings you to a greater significance in your life, but for this to happens first you must allow the Spirit of God to work in you. The verse in Isaiah 60:1, says arise and shine,... let me tell you one thing as a servant of God. If you don't arise,  you cannot shine. There is no any glory of God upon you, if first you choose not to get up and start doing something. God's work in our lives is from inside our. His glory shines from inside out. When you allow God to work in you, well you shall see greater things in your life taking place.

That you may be filled with the fullness of God. To be at a place of greater significance, you must be filled with the fullness of God's character, wisdom, knowledge and the most important is His love in us. A year of greater glory and greater significance.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Saved by grace...!

Ephesians 2:8-10 NKJV

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it  is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

******
Shalom! Day #17. Do you know that you have been saved by grace and that grace is a gift of God for you? Let's pray.  Father,  let not Your grace be in vain, but let it accomplish its works in our lives today. The works of grace for it is Your gift to us. Thank You Jesus. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

It wasn't of our own accord, that we have been saved, yet is wasn't of our good works as well. It was the gift of grace. The grace of God worked out an excellent work in touching us, and saving us from eternal death. I cannot boast about my salvation because it wasn't of my own works or goodness but it's about the Lord picking me from the mud and cleaning me from inside out,  cared for me, saved me from every eternal death, healed me from my brokenness and my wounds. Now, this is grace. Grace, God's favor and His goodness.

For God saved us for one purpose,  we are His workmanship created in Christ. We were created in the secret place of God.  We were once in the darkness,  but God saves us and recreated us in Christ as a new creation.

1. In Merriam-Webster dictionary,  workmanship means
work·man·ship\-ˌship\
noun
1 : something effected, made, or produced : work
2 : the art or skill of a workman; also : the quality imparted to a thing in the process of making <a vase of exquisite workmanship>

A new creation is fearfully and wonderfully made.
⊙ God put in a lot of His "skills" in creating us. The quality which was imparted from God to us is still in us. Each one of you are highly potential to achieve greater things in your life. As I mentioned earlier, without the grace of God, we cannot do anything. With His favor and His goodness upon our lives, you are able to soar like the eagles. We resemble God's quality masterpiece. The same way, God wants us to produce a quality and fruitful lives.

2. We are created for good works.
⊙ as I mentioned earlier, everyone of us has great potential in us to take you to greater heights. God has prepared it inside of you beforehand. You aren't suppose to do lousy works but an extraordinary works. The potentials in you will bring you to a greater significance. God isn't interested in half baked cakes. It is by His grace and His favor upon us, that we shine.

We were saved by grace through faith not works, so that no man will boast in it. Grace is God's perfect gift to all. Grace isn't a licence to sin.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Walk in the Spirit...!

Galatians 5:16-18, 24-25 NKJV

I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. And those who  are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

******
Shalom! Day #16. Do you know that the Spirit of God in us is constantly in battle with our flesh? Let's pray. Father, as we come to You daily, help us that we may crucify the desires of our flesh and yield to Your Spirit more. Let us not give in to our fleshy desires. Help us Holy Spirit to overcome it. Thank You Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

It is important for you to know that you are walking in what. A Spirit led life is a successful life. If you walk in the Spirit, you'll experience life. If you walk in the flesh, you'll experience death. As the children's of God, we must allow the Spirit of God to lead us and work in us daily. Many believers, yes they repent and they invite Jesus into their lives,  to be their Lord and Savior, yet still living according to the flesh. There's no any difference before and after accepting Christ. The reason is because they never allow Jesus to be involved in their lives. Invite yes, involve no. So today, if you are in the same boat of living in flesh and not according to the Spirit of God, then this message is for you.

Our flesh desires to do things in contradiction to the desires of flesh. In the bible, just before Jesus started His 40 days and nights fasting,  the bible recorded that Jesus was led by the Spirit. Jesus was 100% man, but He lived in the Spirit, walk in the Spirit, preach and teach in the Spirit. He was led by the Spirit. Although the devil tempted Him with many fleshy desires, yet He did not give in to it. To walk in the Spirit means to live according to the will of God. The will of God for your life is to have abundance of life, and this only will happen when we walk in the Spirit and allowing the Spirit of God to be involved in every aspects of our lives. Change happens when God is actively involved in every aspects of our lives. We must crucify our flesh so that the Spirit of God lives and works in and through us.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

You are sons and daughters of God...!

Galatians 3:26-29 NKJV

For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

******
Shalom!  Day #15. Do you know that you are sons and daughtersof God and that you inherit all blessings and the promises of God for you? Let's pray. Father, we thank You for saving us and giving us the privilege to be Your sons and daughters as well as giving us the right to be the heirs on the promises and the inheritance that You have for us. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

We are all sons and daughters of God through faith in Christ Jesus. We are joint heirs with Christ Jesus. God called us His very own people and not  only that, He adopted us to be His sons and daughters. We inherit the blessings and the promises that God has made with Abraham. Bearing the marks of Christ on us, we become joint heirs together with Christ.

We are all one in God.  There's no rich, poor, slave, free. God did not distinguished us by who we are and what we do. Yet for all there is a price to be paid. Jesus paid the price for our sins, we pay the price for living for Him. If you realize that you are sons and daughters of God,  then the powers and authorities God has, you have it too. You aren't equal to God,  but you inherit it because you are His children.

Not by works, but by faith...!

Galatians 2:16, 20 NKJV

knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

******
Shalom! Day #14. Do you know that you are justified not by the works you do but by your faith in Jesus Christ? Let's pray. Father, let my faith produce fruits not be justified by works but by the level of faith we have in you. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Let me tell you something as a servant of God. It doesn't matter how great are the works you do, how big the ministry you have, if your base is not built on the word of God, it is compared nothing. How can you have faith in God when the word of God is not in you? Without faith it is impossible to please God. Three things we must look into as we walk this year. In Matthew 7, there is a parable about the builder. As Jesus was teaching His disciples, He was explaining to them the difference that's in this verse. Jesus was saying that there is wise builder and a foolish builder. Both are building the same kind of building. But one is building on the rock foundation and another on the sand foundation. Both has the same excellent workmanship they need in building the house. The wise one built on the word of God as the foundation but the foolish builder built on the world philosophies. The reason is, the wise builder took time to really think and plan about it. But the foolish builder did not take much time in it. Both the house looked the same, have the same radiance and was beautiful,  but one was built on the word of God and another on the sand. Outwardly,  the our life looks good, but the personal life is not align to God. Outwardly you may be busy doing the Lord work, running here and there, but inwardly you aren't built on His word. So yeah, now God is asking us whether how is our relationship with Him? So let us look into this three matter now.

In the book of Joshua 5:13-15 NKJV, we can see how God change the innerman of Joshua.  How God brought change in to trust God and have faith in Him.

And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, “ Are You for us or for our adversaries?” So He said, “No, but as Commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, “What does my Lord say to His servant?” Then the Commander of the Lord ’s army said to Joshua, “Take your sandal off your foot, for the place where you stand is holy.” And Joshua did so.

Joshua was all prepared to go for the battle, but he was wondering how to bring down the walls of Jericho.

1. Joshua was by Jericho and lifted his eyes and he looked...
⊙ Joshua looked at the high tall fortified wall, and was wondering how to conquer it. Our faith in God determines what kind of victory we will see. When Joshua was looking at the problem, a Man came stood opposite Joshua and Joshua's perspective was diverted from the problem to the Man. When you are built in the foundation of God's word, it doesn't matter how terrible a problem can be, you know to whom you can run to. When our focused is diverted from the problem to God, you can see the victory which God has prepared for you! The point here is CHANGE YOUR PERSPECTIVE. Look to God and not the problems We live our life by building on the firm foundation of God's word.

2. Change you alliance.
⊙ Joshua asked a very important question here. Are You for us or for our adversaries? Well, all know this verse, if God is for us, who can be against us. The Man replied Joshua, I am in neither sides. I'm on My side. The biggest and important question we are to ask today,  are we on God's side? If we abide in Him, then He is in us, and then you shall see the victory.

3. The battle belongs to the Lord.
⊙ when Joshua was asking a military strategy from God,  God replied Joshua with a spiritual strategy. The Lord said, take your sandal off your foot, for the place you stand is holy. In those days the sandal is very important shield for the armies. Because with it you can run through every jungle, deserts and rocky paths without getting you feet injured. The Lord is telling Joshua,  whether I'm on uour side or not you will still have the victory because of the promised God made with Abraham and because the battle belongs to the Lord.  God is saying not to trust in your own abilities but to trust in Him totally!!! Remove your trust in your abilities and begin to trust God! And at the end  of the verse, Joshua did as what God commanded him.

We are justified by the amount of faith we have in God and not by the amount of ministry.  You can be doing many works and ministry,  yet that all doesn't make up to what is the level of your faith. So, your level of faith depends on how good your relationship with God is.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Examine yourselves...!

II Corinthians 13:5 NKJV

Examine yourselves as  to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.

******
Shalom! Day #13. Do you know that each one of us must examine ourselves first before we start to point out other people's mistakes? Let's pray. Father, our prayer is that You would search us and seek out our hearts today. Lest we be found unfaithful to You. Correct us daily as we walk with You. Let us not judge others before looking at ourselves first. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

King David is known as the man after God's heart. Why? Because he is a worshipper of God. He is quick to admit his sins and repent. King David in a few of his psalms,  stated that, "search me oh God and know my heart." He literally asking God to examine him. We must allow the Holy Spirit to daily examine us. When I say DAILY it means your precious time with God. It is in His presence, we are made whole. As we allow the Spirit of God to search us , to examine us, to mold us, then you shall see the power of God is at work in our lives. Allow the Spirit of God to examine our faith in Him. Are we still standing strong in our faith towards God or we are backsliding? Put yourselves to test. Test and see how far are you willing to trust God.  How strong your faith is. When your faith is proven, then you shall see how strong you are.

Let us not be found disqualified in the presence of God. Jesus said, "if there is anyone who is without sin, take the stone and throw first." And in another verse, "you see the specks in other people's eyes, but in our own eyes we don't see the plank." This verse isn't just to rebuke the Pharisees but as well to us. Let us not be quick to judge, but be quick to allow the Holy Spirit to daily examine us. Why we become disqualified? Because we think we are always right and there is no chance to fail or do wrong and that's why we dare to judge people. So folks, if you want to have a fruitful walk with God this year and the years to come, well, allow the Spirit of God to examine us daily.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

You are made perfect in Christ...!

II Corinthians 12:9-10 NKJV

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

******
Shalom! Day #12. Do you know that in our weakness, God's power is manifested? Let's pray. Father, Your grace and power is perfected in our weaknesses. We thank You, for when we are weak, You make us strong. When we are imperfect, You make us perfect. We thank You, Lord.  In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Everybody, even Christian's like to say this slogan, "nobody is perfect." Well let me tell you something as a follower of Christ. We are made perfect in the presence of God. We are made perfect in the grace of God. We are made perfect in the love of God! For in our weakness He gave us strength and make us strong and make us perfect! Jesus said, "My grace is sufficient for you." His grace is enough, more than enough to make us perfect.

For when we are weak, then we are made strong in Him. Without Jesus, we are imperfect. Without Jesus we are nothing. Perfection happens when Jesus is with us. So when we are broken before God, then He shall make you perfect once again. Perfection happens when you are broken before God. Perfection happens when you seek the Lord with all your heart. Perfection happens when you allow God to work in your life.

Yes, we aren't perfect, that's the reason we need God's divine intervention in our lives.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Your enemy isn't the flesh...!

II Corinthians 10:3-6 NKJV

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

******
Shalom! Day #11. Do you know that as a believer, though we walk in the flesh but we do not war according to flesh? Father,  as we engaged into spiritual warfare, help us overcome every strongholds,  every principalities of the darkness. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

I would like to start up today's devotion from this verse from Ephesians 6:12 NKJV For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. We should know this biblical truth. Folks, we are not fighting against flesh, but the power of darkness. Though we walk in the flesh, yet we shouldn't give in to the flesh.  Every fleshy desires, every fleshy war are all against the Spirit that's in us. We are not fighting against our brethren, our parents, friends, but the power of darkness that's working through them.

Yet, do not lose heart because we are not fighting it with our carnal minds but in the mighty power of God. The power of God is able to put down every power and principalities of the darkness under your feet. So remember this always, that you are not into arguments with human, but the power of darkness that's working through them. Fight it with the power of God, the mighty name of Jesus!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

You giving your best...?

II Corinthians 9:6-8 NKJV

But this I  say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So  let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

******
Shalom! Day #10. Do you know that the fact is when you sow one seed, you only reap the fruits of that one seeds tree? Let's pray. Abba Father, create in us a heart of a giver, who would give cheerfully. Let us not be stingy in giving,  but abounding in giving. Lord, we want to give You the best we could because You have given Your best for us. Thank You, Jesus. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

When you plant a seed, let's say an orange seed, so when the tree grows let's say it only produces 10 fruits of that tree. So what that tree produced, that's what you will reap. But if you sow many seeds, well you shall reap many as well. Are we giving our very best to God?  Our utmost for His highest. Now I would like to speak about giving our tithes and offerings. Well God isn't interested with your money, but He is interested with the attitude of your heart, the heart of giving. If you give sparingly, you will also receive sparingly but if you give bountifully and cheerfully,  you will also receive bountifully.

God is able to make all grace, blessings and health and everything to you,  IF YOU ARE WILLING TO GIVE THE BEST YOU COULD! Malachi 3:10 says that.... I paraphrase it, it says well if you are willing to believe in Me and give, then I shall open the gates of heaven and flood you with overflowing blessings and supplies,  health and grace. Test Me and see, says the Lord. Give as you have purposed in your hearts. By not giving our tithes, we are actually robbing God. So how is it now? You make your move.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Accomplish or do not begin...

II Corinthians 8:10-11, 17 NKJV

And in this I give advice: It is to your advantage not only to be doing what you began and were desiring to do a year ago; but now you also must complete the doing of  it; that as there  was a readiness to desire it, so there also may  be a completion out of what you have. For he not only accepted the exhortation, but being more diligent, he went to you of his own accord.

Shalom! Day #9. Do you know that the fact is, many say want to do this and that but when they have begun, they do not complete what they have started? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for our lack of diligence. Give us a heart of diligence.  Help us to accomplish every work we begin. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Accomplish or do not begin. This must be our life motto. Many people start to do something,  but halfway around they do not accomplish what they have started. When the going gets harder, they just choose to quit just like that. In this verse, Paul is pointing out a few things that would benefit us and encourage us to continue to do the works we've started.

1. It is to your advantage.
⊙ when you have started to so something, do not quit halfway, finish it. It's because you will benefit from it as well. You will gain knowledge, experience as well as learning how to do things effectively, efficiently and diligently. Procrastinators are the ones who always quit. Are you a procrastinator?

2. You must have the desire.
⊙ a person without a desire and passion in doing things will never succeed in the things he's working on. The desire that you have in starting to do something,  must be the catalyst that moves you to completion of the task. When you love what you do, you will do it with all your heart no matter who come against it, no matter what happens that desire will drive you on to completion of the task.

3. Be diligent.
⊙ be diligent to do whatever you have began.  Be diligent to do everything by your own. If you can do it then do it yourself, do not expect for people to help you. Never expect people to do things for you. If you really cannot, then ask for help.

So folks, from the advice of apostle Paul,  let us accomplish or do not begin at all. Do it with all your heart and be diligent!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

You, the ambassadors of Christ...!

II Corinthians 5:18-21 NKJV

Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to  be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

******
Shalom! Day #8. Do you know that you are the ambassadors of God on earth? Let's pray. Father, thank You for appointing us to be Your ambassadors on earth. Give us the courage and boldness to promote You to the lives of the people we see daily. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

To everyone of us is given a ministry that will never perish.  The ministry of reconciliation. To reconcile man to God. So, we being God's ambassadors are to promote Christ to people and not just promoting, but to make sure they receive Him as a Lord and Savior. Christ came to reconcile us to God, so we who have been reconciled to God,  are to be His ambassadors to introduce Jesus to all. An ambassador doesn't point out the bad thing about a certain product or about the country.  For example, the tourism department will promote about how beautiful their country is, how tasty the food is and so on. Therefore we are to let people know about His goodness, His love, His grace and mercy towards us, His salvation. There's nothing bad that I can let you know about my God, because in Him I see grace and mercy and His love and goodness.

Are you Christ's ambassadors? Are you promoting Jesus to everyone you meet? There must be a constant follow-up not just to promote but to make sure he or she believes in Him. We are the glorified ambassadors of Christ.  So joyfully share Jesus to everyone you meet.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Treasures in earthen vessels...!

II Corinthians 4:7-9, 17-18 NKJV

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We  are  hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we  are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed— For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

******
Shalom! Day #7. Do you know that we have treasures in earthen vessels? Let's pray. Father, though we are hard-pressed, pressured on every side of our lives, yet we count it all joy in serving You. For we know that our labor in Your name is not in vain, and that You have stored treasures in earthen vessels for us. Thank You Lord.  In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

For every believer, there is treasures in the earthen vessels,  stored by God for us. God is storing up earthen vessels full of treasure for us. But do you know why? Well it's because, He wants to reward us for being faithful to Him in faith as well as in serving. Your blessings is stored in the earthen vessels. It's just a matter of time for God to release it to you.

Now, people are watching us at the same time God is also watching us of how we are going to finish the race. Yes, walking as a Christian in this world is not an easy task. Yes, we  are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed, perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed. Do you know why? Because when you pressed,  Jesus is actually bearing the maximum weight and just wanting us to feel the little weight. He is looking at us whether we go through it with murmuring and complaining or, with thanksgiving unto God for sustaining and enabling us to go through it. For the excellence of the overwhelming,  power of God is at work in our lives.

Now, the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. Your situations you see now, is just a temporary thing. But, God has prepared for you the unseen eternal victory. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

We are an epistle of Christ.....!

II Corinthians 3:2-3 NKJV

You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men; clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that  is, of the heart.

******
Shalom! Day #6. Do you know that people are reading your life daily? Let's pray. Father, let us be Your epistles to Your people. Let them read our lives as we represent You in this world. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

We are a story being written by God for people to read. People are looking and observing what kind of testimony we would become. Everyone of us has a story of His goodness to tell. Our story isn't written on the stone but it's in our heart, and how we live it, does make a difference in the lives of those surrounding us. Clearly you are an epistle of Christ. We minister to you, and you are to live accordingly so that people who sees the difference in you, they would glorify God.

So what kind of testimony you will become? It depends you, how you choose to live for Christ.  Let us be His epistles that would bring glory to God. Our life story is written by the Spirit of the living God,  therefore let God be enthrone in our lives and let your testimony be made know to people of what the Lord has done in our lives...

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Fragrance of Christ...!

II Corinthians 2:14-15 NKJV

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

******
Shalom! Day #5. Do you know that in the midst of trials and testing God always leads us in triumph? Let's pray. Father, lead us in triumph and let it be so that through us You diffuse the fragrance of Your knowledge in every place. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

We are the fragrance of Christ in this world. A sweet aroma unto God and a fragrance of Christ to this world. That one special perfume created by God. Therefore the fragrance that's in us, is to make known of the glory of God to this world. For God has brought us together, molded us, and created us anew to be His light, His fragrance, His salt to those who are saved and to those who are perishing.

Today is the 5th day of 2014, let us make a commitment to be connected to God and release the fragrance of God to this world, our family,  our friends and community. Amen!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Step in boldly...!

I Corinthians 16:9 NKJV

For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there  are many adversaries.

******
Shalom! Day #4. Do you know that with every door opened for you by God, there's always a lot of challenges to face? Let's pray. Father, we thank You for the new opportunities,  for the new doors You have opened for us. As we step into the opened doors, Lord give us the strength to face the challenges that's yet to come. Give us the strength to face the giants and to bring them down. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Is it only me or you feel the same too? I've been praying for God to open a new door for me, that in may step into a new horizon with a new environment to serve Him. I can strongly feel that the day is coming soon. But the question is, am I ready to face the challenges as I step into the door? For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there  are many adversaries. Even apostle Paul realized it.

Stand strong and be ready to face your adversaries. When God opens a new door for you, there will be people who try to bring you down, there will be people who will talk bad about, who will back stab you, there will be people who will ridicule you and even to cripple your spirit. Remain steadfast, stand strong and face it like a man! This year, 2014, I believe God is opening new doors of opportunities for you this year. Be ready to step in and to defeat every adversaries and to face the challenges boldly.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Grace not in vain...!

I Corinthians 15:9-10, 57-58 NKJV

For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which  was with me. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

******
Shalom! Day #3. Do you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord? Let's pray. Father, when we were so unworthy,  You took us and cleansed us from all filth and sin. Because of Your grace, we are what we are today. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Everyone of us are unworthy to serve God, but God with all His grace, saved us and He cleansed us and set us to serve Him. It wasn't anything good about us, it's all about Him, His goodness and His grace towards us. Looking back at my life, 10 years ago, I was saved yet was living in darkness. Was a believer but was living a lie. Yet, God chooses the shameful thing of this world to be a testimony for this world. I am who am I am today is because of the great I AM. His grace towards me wasn't in vain, because His grace was at work in me and has produce a good fruit. The grace of God is still actively working in me and because of His grace, I am doing His will up to this day and till He calls me back. Many people said, I am a hopeless case, but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. For the works of God in your lives haven't gone in vain, so if you are doing His works now, be steadfast and immovable and always abounding in the work of the Lord,  for your labor is not in vain. God will reward you! As we are in the third day of this brand new year, it is still not late for us to renew our commitment towards God.  Allow Him to work in us and through us. Always abounding in the work of the Lord!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Spread the ♥♡LOVE♥♡

I Corinthians 13:4-8, 13 NKJV

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But whether there  are prophecies, they will fail; whether there  are tongues, they will cease; whether there  is knowledge, it will vanish away. And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

******
Shalom! Day #2. Do you know that no matter how hurting it can be, love always pushes through all odds, limitations and impossibilities and it endures all things? Let's pray. Father, we love because You loved us first. Therefore help us Lord, to spread Your unlimited love to this world. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Where is the love? Well, love is a great topic. Love, I believe everyone has been in love before or in love now. Love is good. From my personal experience, I was and still in a far love relationship. I'm staying in west Malaysia and my wife in east Malaysia. Before we got married, the mutual understanding we have and the strong bond of love has brought us through odds and every impossibilities. Love brought us through, and that same love has united us in holy matrimony.

Above all else, love survives! Love last forevermore and love never fails. Love never fails because, for God so loved the world, He sacrificed His only Son, and Jesus because of love, He gave Himself at the cross. Love did not fail at any point. Fill your life with the love of God. When you filled your life with God's love, then you will be able love people with all patience and endurance.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Let's run...!

I Corinthians 9:24-27 NKJV

Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.  And everyone who competes for  the  prize is temperate in all things. Now they do  it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for  an imperishable crown.  Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one  who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.

******
Shalom! Day #1. Do you know that we are all running in a race? Let's pray. Father, as we enter into this brand new year 2014, we pray that we would run the in such way to win the prize that You have prepared for us. Help us to run in such a way that our focus will not be diverted by anything but all focused to You alone. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

First of all I would like to take this opportunity to wish every readers a blessed and fruitful brand new year 2014. Thank you for being my blog readers, and I hope that you are blessed, encouraged, and your faith are being established as you continue to read and meditate on His words. Now, folks, do you not know that we're all runners and we are running in a race?  No, I'm not talking about being the fastest runner like Hussein Bolt. No! I'm talking about our spiritual race. As we begin this 2014, let us run the race which is before us in such a way that we would win the prize. A runner will not run slow to win the race, he or she will run fast overtaking other runners to win the prize. As we have step into this brand new year, let us reevaluate our life, in which area we've slacked. Here's a few points that would help us.

1. Run fast
=> a runner will not run slow, he will run as fast as he could to win the gold medal, the perishable crown. But we are running not for this perishable crown, but the imperishable crown. Therefore we must run fast. It means that it doesn't matter how was your ways of doing things in 2013, if you are a procrastinator, then be no more. Change your ways and begin to make a commitment to change! Do not run, walk and work like a snail. Change our attitudes. Do not procrastinate works. Do it with all diligence and excellence.

2. Be disciplined.
=> a runner will go through a lot of training. As a fellow runner,  well atleast I ran for my secondary school. Therefore I know how extreme the trainings are. There would be stamina training, physical training, gym and many, even we must be very careful with what we eat. Now that's the kind of discipline I'm talking about. Even as we run in our spiritual life, let us practice our spiritual disciplines. Regularly fasting and praying, reading meditating on God's word. This are our spiritual disciplines to a healthy christian living.

3. Run with eyes focused on Jesus.
=> many Christian have their new year resolution, but do they achieved it by the end of the year? 3 out of ten may do, the rest may still be dreaming, or they lose focus. As we walk into this brand new year,  let us run with eyes fully focused upon Jesus. Therefore we run not with uncertainty. Thus we fight: not as one  who beats the air. A sprinter knows his or her goals. Their aim is that gold medal. So as they run, their eyes are fully focused on the winning prize. Let us focused fully on our winning prize, our Victor, our Savior,  Jesus Christ!

4. Practice what you preach.
=> "But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified." Be a role model to all. A good example for everyone. Don't say one thing and do something else.

Folks,  this may be a few of other points that would help us yo jump start us as we walk through this year. I end today's devotional sharing with psalms 65:11. God bless you.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
