Your inheritance and possessions...!

Psalms 2:8, 11-12 NKJV

Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession. Serve the Lord with fear, And rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.

******
Shalom! Day #212. Do you know that you have the nations as your inheritance? Let's pray! Father, we ask You today that You would give us the nations and this generation as our inheritance. We forcefully claim this generation from the hands of the devil and Lord that You will shine Your light upon them. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Indeed it's a privilege to have the nations and this generation as our eternal inheritance. The Lord has redeemed them for us. Now it's our responsibility to make sure that our inheritance doesn't fall into the enemies hand. The Lord has entrusted the nations to us and we must lead the to the cross that they too will be saved. If you are willing to stand for the nations and this generation, then you will not take this verse lightly or somehow carelessly. His people, your inheritance. There's no one would like to see his inheritance or his possession being stolen or being handled without care. It's the same responsibility we must have when we take care of the inheritance and the possession that the Lord has entrusted to us. For example, If they are being misled, then we must make sure they are brought back to the right path.

In today's verse, we see that the Lord gives if we ask. This nations is entrusted to you, what are measures that you going to take to make sure that they continuously walk in the Lord? One, make sure that they are grounded in the word of God. Two, make sure that they walk in the truth of the word of God. Three, teaching them to trust in the Lord. This are a few ways that you can practice. Be responsible of your inheritance and possessions.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Walks not in the counsel of the ungodly...!

Psalms 1:1-3, 6 NKJV

Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord , And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

******
Shalom! Day #211. Do you know that a man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor sits in the seat of the scornful is like a tree planted by the rivers of water? Let's pray! Father, let us not give our ears into the counsel of the ungodly but live from every words that comes out from Your mouth. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Many believers although they have known the truth, yet they're still giving their ears to the counsel of the ungodly. Instead of being counseled biblically, they turn their ears to the words and advices of the ungodly. For example, getting witch doctors help, believing in animism. The Bible says that "man shall not live on bread alone, but from every word that proceeds from the mouth of God." When man begin to live according to the counsel of the ungodly, their lives will not just be filled with problems, but all kinds of disaster shall come upon them. In searching for a way out, they fall into the trap of the devil again and again.

In today's verse, there's a secret for us to be blessed and remained blessed. It's written that "But his delight is in the law of the Lord , And in His law he meditates day and night." When you delight yourself in the word of God and continously meditate on His words, meaning not giving yourself to counsel of the ungodly, then your life, work, ministry and family  shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. It mean that you will prosper in season or out of season because the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

No purpose of Yours can be withheld from You...!

Job 42:2, 10, 12 NKJV

“I know that You can do everything, And that no purpose of  Yours can be withheld from You. And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. Now the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys.

******
Shalom! Day #210. Do you know that God is able to do anything and that not one of His purposes fail? Let's pray. Father, we acknowledge Your sovereignty and that we firmly believe and trust that you are able to do great and mighty things. We fix our eyes upon You as we surrender ourselves totally to the works of Your hands. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

All this years of me being a believer of Christ, I never once doubt that God isn't able to come to my rescue. All my hopes in put it in the Lord, because I know that He never fails to accomplish His purposes for my life. He is my Author and the Perfector of my life and faith. The moment you are down to nothing, God's up to something. Jesus never fails those who hope and trust in Him.

In today's verse we see how Job after recovered after everything he went through. He lost everything,  yet he trusted God. And God restored him of more than what he lost.

Magnify the Lord...!

Job 36:24, 26 NKJV

“Remember to magnify His work, Of which men have sung. “Behold, God is great, and we do not know Him; Nor can the number of His years be discovered.

******
Shalom! Day #209. Do you know that we are created to declare the marvelous works of God and to proclaim greatness to all the earth? Let's pray. Father, we want to ascribe Your greatness and proclaim the wondrous works You have done. Let all the earth know that You are the Lord who took us from the darkness into Your marvelous light. In Jesus name we ask and pray,  Amen!

We are created to declare the marvelous works of God. We are created to proclaim the wondrous works and goodness of God. O ascribe the greatness of God.  In Psalms 150:6 NKJV it is written "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord . Praise the Lord !" Are you breathing today? Then lift up your voice and shout His praises,  magnify the greatness of God, lift up the banner of God,  sing and dance unto the Lord! It doesn't matter what you are going through, but when you choose not to be drowned by your situations and your problem, and you choose to shout the praises of God and declare the lordship of God upon every situations you go through, you will experience miracle! You will see His glory!

In today's verse we learn about the importance of telling the world of the mighty works of God in our lives as well as in everything we do, our work, ministry, family. The reason God created humans,  one is to have a relationship with Him, and secondly that we would magnify the Lord and proclaim everything He has done. So are declaring the majestic of the Lord in wherever you are? Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom...!

Job 28:28 NKJV

And to man He said, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, And to depart from evil is understanding.’ ”

******
Shalom! Day #208. Do you know that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom? Let's pray. Father, with all respect and reverence we come before You today. Give us wisdom and understanding today, that we may be able to differentiate good and evil. In Jesus name we ask and pray,  amen!

I start today's sharing from this verse Proverbs 9:10 NKJV “The fear of the Lord  is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. What this verse is trying to tell us is that, not to fear as if you are scared of God and that you are afraid to talk with God and so on. What this verse trying to say is, the respect and honor we have for God. The bible says, "if you are lack of wisdom,  ask from God." But the wisdom of God, comes when you humble yourselves before the Lord in respect and reverence to God.

In today's verse, I would like to show to us what the Spirit of God is saying to us today. Wisdom and understanding is given not just to those who ask of God,  but to those who humble themselves before God in respect and reverence. Some people liked to puff themselves up with the wisdom of the world, all the philosophies of the world and they think thy are greater than God and they think they can control God. Beware my friends, the danger awaits us for rely upon the worldly wisdom and understanding. Your respect and reverence must come from your heart to God. Do not be filled with the world's wisdom but come before God and ask of Him who gives it freely. The wisdom of God will teach you to differentiate the good and evil.  The understanding from God makes you to depart from evil. What understanding is this? The understanding of God, the understanding of His word, the understanding of His love, grace and mercy, the understanding of His lordship upon our lives and the understanding of His power. Amen! God bless you...!

What is the hope of the hypocrite...?

Job 27:8-10 NKJV

For what is the hope of the hypocrite, Though he may gain much, If God takes away his life? Will God hear his cry When trouble comes upon him? Will he delight himself in the Almighty? Will he always call on God?

******
Shalom! Day #207. Do you know that the Lord detest hypocrites and that He won't listen to the cries of the hypocrites? Let's pray.  Father, help us to be transparent before You and man so that we may not be hypocrites or backstabbers. Create in us a pure heart. In Jesus name we ask and pray, Amen!

In the new testament, Jesus identified the Pharisees as hypocrites because they want people to know that they pray, they do things to be noticed by people. We as believers of Christ, are also hypocrites sometimes.  We tend to do things so that people would noticed what we are doing. We are also in way or another becoming a hypocrite. We tend to say things of what we want to do, but when it comes to doing we fail to do. A hypocrite is a N.A.T.O person, No Action Talk Only. They want people to recognize them, recognize everything they do, but they forget that God is watching everything they do.

Though this kind of people would gain a lot of influence, even if they know any key person,  will he always delight in the Almighty God? Will he be delighted in the ways of the Lord? Will he always call upon God?  Will he allow God to change him, or he would still continue in his wicked and prideful ways? A hypocrite relies upon he wisdom and the ways of the world, but the man of God relies fully on the wisdom and the understanding from God. You don't need human's recognition, but you need God's recommendations.

The genuineness of your faith...!

Job 23:10 NKJV

But He knows the way that I take; When  He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.

******
Shalom! Day #206. Do you know that the Lord knows every step you take,  whether you turn to the left or to the right He is there? Let's pray. Father, You know our waking up and laying down. You know every step we take and You make us to move. Where can we go from Your Spirit? Thank You Lord.  Thank You for taking care of us. In Jesus name we ask and pray, Amen!

The Lord knows every step we take. He knows every move we make. Why? Not because the Lord is busybody, but He cares for you. The Lord knows your rise and fall. He knows the best for you as a Father who provides for His children. Nevertheless, there will be times of trials and testing as well. In I Peter 1:7 NKJV that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,.... Times testing is a good time. Because when the genuineness of your faith is tested, you will be found to praise, honor and glory for the Lord Jesus Christ.

In today's verse we see how Job was willingly to go through the testing because he knows that one he is refined in the fire thoroughly as a gold being refined,  he faith shall be proven. A persons faith growns when he go through the trials and testing periods. There's only two possibilities, either resulted in victory or some falters easily. The best time for a believer is time of testing, I know manu don't like this, but at this time is where you can see how strong is your faith in the Lord and when  He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.

The Lord is precious more than silver and gold...!

Job 22:22-27 NKJV

Receive, please, instruction from His mouth, And lay up His words in your heart. If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up; You will remove iniquity far from your tents. Then you will lay your gold in the dust, And the gold of Ophir among the stones of the brooks. Yes, the Almighty will be your gold And your precious silver; For then you will have your delight in the Almighty, And lift up your face to God. You will make your prayer to Him, He will hear you, And you will pay your vows.

******
Shalom! Day #205. Do you know that your delight is in the Lord? Let's pray. Father, into Your hands we commit again with all we are to You Lord. We will walk with the rest of our days, Your promises for us. You are more precious than silver or gold. Thank You Lord, for building us up again from scratch. In Jesus name we ask and pray, Amen!

People who are willing to repent and receive the salvation of God, will be built up in the Word of God as well as in the Spirit of God. God will forgive you and create you anew. His ways of doing things none can comprehend,  yet He does is for our good. He builds you to stand firm on the living Word of God, that when you allow the word to grow in you,  the living Word of God will transform your "dead" life into alive spiritually. Be rooted in the word of God. The Spirit of God is upon you, to guide you, to teach you, to move you to flow with the move of God.

The Lord is your precious possession that you have. He is precious more than silver and gold and nothing can compare to His worth. If you are willing, therefore God is able to wonders in your life. When you delight yourselves in the Lord, meaning to say, you find delight in doing the works of God, you are delighted in reading the word of God,  to summarize it, you find delight in everything about God, therefore He shall do the the desires of your heart's. Amen. As we come to God today, allow Him to work in us, to build us. God bless you...!

The Prideful hypocrite...!

Job 20:4-5 NKJV

“Do you not know this of old, Since man was placed on earth, That the triumphing of the wicked is short, And the joy of the hypocrite is but for a moment?

******
Shalom! Day #204. Do you know that for everu wicked and prideful people, their time is very short? Let's pray. Father, if we are found in stealing Your glory, forgive us Lord. All glories and praises are Yours. Lord, humble us by Your grace that we may not have prideful heart. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The prideful and the hypocrite, is the title for today's sharing. There's a few sayings by great men of old. Ben Franklin said,"pride is as loud a beggar as want and great deal more saucy." Louis D. Brandeis said,"behind every argument lies someone's ignorance."  Charles Spurgeon said, " sincerity makes the very least person to be of more value than the most talented hypocrite." Saint Augustine said, "it was pride that changed angels into devils; it is humility that makes men as angels." Well this are all well known people,  they have seen and tasted life from every corner and I believe they know what they are saying. Prideful people is the best hypocrites I can say. They tend to boast about this and that, I did it my way, they even will try to tell you about how God works miracles and so on but indirectly they are trying to point out that, "hey if I wasn't there I don't think God is able to do the miracle." Even prideful hypocrites thinks they can command and control God and the move of the Holy Spirit. All I can say is they are just blinded with false doctrines and all the philosophies of the world. Beware of new age teachings, doctrines that's based on the world's philosophies.

Since man was placed on earth, the triumphing of the wicked prideful hypocrites are short and their joy is jist for a little while. They think they have done an extraordinary ministry and they boast about they handled and organized the ministry or the events, and left God out of the picture. They think they're great and instead of glorifying God for the things He has done, they began to glorify themselves. An example, please do not try this at home! "Wow, brother do you know the revival meetig that I organized was so power pack, extremely good, wow, when I prayed 1000 people fell just like that. When I preach, suddenly demons manifesting." Let me tell you, only a foolish person lives in ignorance of the power of God! Be thankful that God uses you to be His vessel. Sometimes they even tell lies to boast about something to look good. Let me tell you, their joy is not everlasting and they will perish just like that. You don't have to lift yourself but let the Lord to lift you up. James 4:10 Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord and He will lift you up.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

No doubt you are the people......!

Job 12:2-3, 12-13 NKJV

“No doubt you are the people, And wisdom will die with you! But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you. Indeed, who does not know such things as these? Wisdom is with aged men, And with length of days, understanding. “With Him are  wisdom and strength, He has counsel and understanding.

******
Shalom! Day #203. Do you know that there are people who thinks that they know everything and that makes them to be so proud of what they know? Let's pray.  Father, wisdom and knowledge is from You, therefore there's no place for us to be proud off. Forgive us for allowing pride to have a place in our heart. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

There's a reason for everything that's happens in our lives and I believe that today's sharing isn't something coincident. Yesterday, I was encountered by a situation where I burst out of anger. The reason was simply because someone thinks that he is Mr. KNOW-IT-ALL. What happened was, I had to deal with with it. I admit that I'm not a good leader and I don't know anything, but I observe and learn. But when a person told me that your leadership sucks big time and another person is agreeing to it, now that's a problem to me. I have to address this issue. So, I question this Mr. Know-it-all, and he wasn't able to give me the answer I want,  and yet another leader who agree to this person, being the senior leader wasn't able to see the wrong. Well, anyways I know where do I stand in God. As I said, I don't know everything,  but I know something that uou do not know off. And this morning as I was reading this scripture, wow, I see God knows what you are going through and God understands it.

In today's verse, it says here wisdom will die with you. What wisdom is it? The wisdom you acquired from the world, in doing His ministries, will die with you. You don't build a ministry based on the wisdom and ways of the world. You build it on the Solid Foundation of the wisdom of God. I detest every spirit that think he is above God. I'm not a "Yes man" who bows and agree to everything what people say. If anything that's in contradiction with the wisdom of God, I will not tolerate it. If you are lack in wisdom, ask from God and He shall give it freely to you. Be build on the solid foundation and truth of God and mot on the world's ways and wisdom. There will be some species along the way, just ignore them and rund the race!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Who can fathom the mind of God...?

Job 11:7-8 NKJV

“Can you search out the deep things of God? Can you find out the limits of the Almighty? They  are higher than heaven— what can you do? Deeper than Sheol— what can you know?

******
Shalom! Day #202. Do you know that the fact is no one knows what is in the mind of God concerning their lives unless God reveals it to them? Let's pray. Father, Your ways are mysterious. You work in a miraculous and mysterious way so much so that the humans stand in awe at Your awesomeness. They marvelled at Your works. Thank You Lord,  for Your marvelous works in our lives. In Jesus name we ask and pray, Amen!

I start off from this verse in Romans 11:33-34 NKJV Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! “For who has known the mind of the Lord ? Or who has become His counselor?” Who can fathom the mind of God and who can compare to His infinite wisdom? God says in Jeremiah 33:3 "Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know." For you to know what God has installed for your life,  all His plans and purposes for your life,  it will only be made known to you when you call upon the Lord. Can you search out the deep things of God? You cannot unless God reveals it to you. You don't find who God is, or His origin in Wikipedia or Google,  but when you call upon His name, He shall answer you, and show you great and mighty things,  which you do not know.

In today's verse, we can see that no one can even understand how God works. God works in a mysterious ways where human can't comprehend it. You and can only gind the answer for your existence when you search it in the Lord. No, you did not come from a monkey! You can only get this truth in God. What can you do? What can you know? "Call to Me," says the Lord.

If you are pure and upright....!

Job 8:6-7 NKJV

If you were pure and upright, Surely now He would awake for you, And prosper your rightful dwelling place. Though your beginning was small, Yet your latter end would increase abundantly.

******
Shalom! Day #201. Do you know that if you are pure and upright before God , He will surely would stand for you? Let's pray. Father,  let honesty, uprightness, pureness of heart be found in us. Lord, that You would prosper our dwelling place. In Jesus name we ask and we pray, Amen!

I like this verse so much. The reason is because this teaches us the basics of a Christian living. If we say we are Christian and we do nonsense, God will never ever bless your dwelling place. For example, if you were blacklisted by bankers and you aren't allowed to take any loans to either buy a car, motorbike or house, we may find another way to do it. Many would change their pay slip to put a higher salary so that they can get the loan. Some sell their right as husband and ask someone else to be the "acting" husband to his wife so that can combine their name and get the loan. Are you being pure and honest before God? I'm not just sharing a story here, but true story. And because of it, problems after problems, this particular person went through.

In today's verse I would want to stress more on the purity and the uprightness of our heart. If you were pure and upright, Surely now He would awake for you, And prosper your rightful dwelling place. This verse says it all. God want to prosper your family,  but if there's dishonesty in the family,  how would God even prosper the family? Blessings flows when we are pure and upright before God. People always say, "dream big but start small, start from what you have." It is true and even this verse agrees to this statement. We want to get rich but we follow the ways of the world in doing business.  We are willing to twist and turn the truth for our benefits. This is wrong. We may have big dream, but start from what you have first then see how God prosper it. Do it in a right way pleasinh unto God.

Happy is the man whom God corrects...!

Job 5:17-18 NKJV

“Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects; Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty. For He bruises, but He binds up; He wounds, but His hands make whole.

******
Shalom! Day #200. Do you know that it is better for us to give ourselves to God to be disciplined, rather that God teaching us the hard way? Let's pray. Father,  we allow You to discipline us. Let chastise us so that we may not go astray. We are willing to be disciplined by You Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

There's a verse in the bible, it says "God disciplines those who He loves," it is found in Hebrews 12:6. God loves you therefore He wants to discipled you so that you wouldn't stray away from His truth. Some believers are just so stubborn, until God had to teach them the hard way. I was the stubborn one. For me, it was really hard, extremely hard. God did not force His ways on me, but the way He disciplined me was really hard. He had to break me into pieces and create me a new creation. In my story, brokenness was the effective way for me to be restored and be created a new creation.

In today's verse we read that "happy is the man whom God corrects." How can you be happy when God corrects you? It's a painful process. It's a process where you would almost give up believing in God. Hey, let tell you something. My late dad use to say this, "suffer now and enjoy later," you'll benefit a lot in the Lord when you allow God to discipline you. Nevertheless, I'm not saying it would be a bed of roses, but yes and for sure you will see the changes in your life. I'm a living proof and witness. If God did not interfere in my life, it wouldn't be here today. God loves me and that's why He wished not that I perish together with the world. He saved me! God always give us a grace period for us to repent and be molded. Yet if we do not comply to it, then God has to step in and begin to do His work. How about you guys? Allow God to have His way in our lives.

Be an example...!

Job 4:3-6 NKJV

Surely you have instructed many, And you have strengthened weak hands. Your words have upheld him who was stumbling, And you have strengthened the feeble knees; But now it comes upon you, and you are weary; It touches you, and you are troubled. Is not your reverence your confidence? And the integrity of your ways your hope?

******
Shalom! Day #199. Do you know that many of us are good in encouraging people who are going through difficult times,  but when it comes to us, we are shaken to the core? Let's pray. Father, let us not be weary when trouble comes, but continue to hope and trust in You knowing that You are the Author and the Perfector of our faith. Holy Spirit help us to continue to focus our eyes upon You, Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray, Amen!

There are people who are so good in encouraging others just like a pro, but when it touches them, they began to be so stressful, disoriented, disappointed, angry, lost their hope and many more. The bible say we must practice what we preach. If we say to others that you must not steal, we must make sure that we also follow and live as an example to them. I found this in manu leaders especially, they say one thing and expect the followers to abide, obey and do, but they themselves not practising it. This is a common thing amongst the political leaders and now it's become a common thing amongst the church leaders as well. They preach, O we must do this and this, we must do that and that, we must get up early to pray, we must have faith in God, and they don't really practice it but expects the church to follow it.

In today's verse,  this is what Job is going through. Many servants of God needs some boost of encouragement from the congregation as well. They are just humans like us. Yes at times they are shaken too. It's not about how we remind them about what they preached, but to stand and encourage them. Sometimes yes, we need remind them so that they do not fall into the enemies trap. Be a man of your word. Is not your reverence your confidence? And the integrity of your ways your hope? Let your eyes be focused on Jesus alone.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Sin not with your lips...!

Job 2:9-10 NKJV

Then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die!” But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

******
Shalom! Day #198. Do you know that the percentage of Christians give thanks to God during hard times is lesser than during when all is well? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for being such a hypocrite, whereby we teach others to give thanks in all situations but we failed to do so. Forgive us for only giving thanks when all is well, when we are blessed and so on. Lord, in every events and situations of our lives, teach us to give thanks with a grateful heart. In Jesus name we ask and pray, Amen!

We as human beings, it's a common thing that we don't really give thanks in hard times or even shout hallelujah when we go through all kinds of faith shaking moments in our lives, but that's not a biblical act and that's not what the Lord is teaching us and have taught us. The bible says in I Thessalonians 5:18 NKJV in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. This is what we must do as believers of Christ Jesus. In everything,  it doesn't matter whether your boss scolds or praise you, it doesn't if you had bad day, it doesn't matter if there's something bad happened in your family,  it doesn't matter if you are sick or fallen sick, have an attitude of thanks giving. Just because God did not answer your prayers doesn't mean that God isn't aware of your situation, doesn't mean that God is sleeping. Sometimes we need to check our lives before God, are we doing the right thing? Let the shouts of praise and thanksgiving be heard and not complaints and cursing God.

In today's verse,  we see here how Job reacted in the tough situations he ho through. At one hand his wife is nagging at him another hand he remains calm and trusting God. His wife said, "Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die!" It's better to die in unbelief than dying in knowing the truth yet we refuse to allow God to do His part. The reason Job held fast to his faith in God, because he knows that God will never leave him nor forsake him. He knows the truth and he choose to give thanks to God. His reply to his wife was “You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?” And it is written that "In all this Job did not sin with his lips." Yes! We must know what's coming out of our mouth. When things aren't going the way it suppose to be, do not be shaken! Speak into the supernatural realm, speak a word of thanksgiving to God, and you shall see how God creates an extraordinary miracle for you! The devil will try his best to stop you from giving thanks to God, but you must not give in to his schemes. The devil tried to break Job's spirit, but he stood strong on the word of God! Are you going through some situations in your life where it seems so difficult for you to just say, "thank You God" well you must try doing it now and see how God creates a miracle for you! Not just giving thanks when all things are doing well, but also in every unpleasant situations of our lives,  give thanks with a grateful heart! Sin not with your lips. In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Have you considered My servant...?

Job 1:6-12 NKJV

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord , and Satan also came among them. And the Lord said to Satan, “From where do you come?” So Satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.” Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there  is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?” So Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing? Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face!” And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person. ” So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord .

******
Shalom! Day #197. Do you know that the devil just waiting for an opportunity to make you to stumble and fall? Let's pray. Father, protect us from every evil schemes of the devil. Let Your hedge of protection be upon us. Lead us not into temptations but deliver us from the evil one. In Jesus name we ask and pray, Amen!

The devil knows about from the day you were born. He knows your past very well but, the Lord knew you even before you were formed in the womb and He set you apart even before you were born. He knows your past, present and future. Do you realize how precious you are even God is willing to stand by your side although He knows that you aren't perfect, aren't bold, have sinned many times?

In today's verse we see that when the sons of God came to present themselves before, amongst them came Satan. From day one untill today, the devil's main motive is to steal, kill amd destroy and he has been actively involved in this work since before the creation. So, Satan came before God and the Lord asked him, "from where do you come?" So Satan answered the Lord and said, "From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it." The devil is looking for a victim to devour. God did not purposely want to break Job but God allowed it to happen so that Job will stand strong and courageous in every situations he will face later on. But Satan also knows that Job is all well and good and did not walk away from the truth and the law of God. Job was well protected and well cared. He was extremely blessed by God. Satan knows this and he said "Does Job fear God for nothing? Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face!" Though it was a tough decision for God to allow Satan to tempt Job, yet God allowed it. Why? The answer is simple.  He knows Job will not curse God and leave the faith. One thing, no matter how the devil tempt, he has no power to touch you, unless you allow it. It doesn't matter how big or small your challenges, temptations can be, remain faithful to God. We are just His glorified servants and God will not allow us to be tempted more than what we can handle.

A beacon to your generation, your people, your tribe...!

Esther 4:15-16 NKJV

Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai: “Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!”

******
Shalom! Day #196. Do you know that you are in debt to your people, your tribe? Let's pray. Father, we stand in the gap for our people, our tribe, our nation and our generation. Today as we lift them to You, Lord that You would heal and restore them. Lord change their rebellious heart to an obedient heart. Lord, we come against every evil schemes of the devil upon our people, our tribe, our nation and our generation in Jesus name. We cancel every power of the darkness that's at work in Jesus name. In Jesus name we ask and pray, Amen!

Are you willing to give your life for your people, your tribe? No, I'm not asking you to die for them, but to give your life means to give your all to the cause of seeing your people to see the salvation of God and to see them be saved? God saved us for a purpose that we may be a beacon to our people, to be the light and the salt to our generation. Your people, your tribe is your responsibility. What can you do to see your people be saved? Jeremiah quoted the words of God saying that, "before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart. I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." God knows what you would become even before you were formed in the womb, but you don't know what you are capable of doing and you don't know ehat you would become, unless God has revealed it to you. Before you were born, God set you apart to do His will and purposes, to be the salt and the light,  to be the beacon for your people, your generation.

In today's verse we see what Esther did as soon as she was crowned as queen.  It took a while for her to realize her calling, but by the help of Mordecai, Esther's uncle, she began to see her calling, not just to be the queen, but to safe her people for Haman's evil plot. She's willing to die for the call. Are we willing to stand for our people,  our generation, our nation? Come on folks, it's never to late to make a stand. Be the beacon for your generation, your people and your tribe.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

A Generation that came before God....!

Nehemiah 9:32-34 NKJV

“Now therefore, our God, The great, the mighty, and awesome God, Who keeps covenant and mercy: Do not let all the trouble seem small before You That has come upon us, Our kings and our princes, Our priests and our prophets, Our fathers and on all Your people, From the days of the kings of Assyria until this day. However You are just in all that has befallen us; For You have dealt faithfully, But we have done wickedly. Neither our kings nor our princes, Our priests nor our fathers, Have kept Your law, Nor heeded Your commandments and Your testimonies, With which You testified against them.

******
Shalom! Day #195. Do you know that there's a need in this generation to confess their sins as well as their forefathers? Let's pray. Father, as we turn back to You in repentance and confess all of our sins, Lord that You would come and heal us. Forgive us and our forefathers for we have walked wickedly before You. Come and have Your ways in our lives and in this generation. Thank You Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray, Amen!

The sins of our forefathers, the generational curse may be upon us, if we never deal with it. Many in the past walked the way our forefathers did. They knew the Truth yet walked wickedly before God.  Practising sooth saying, witchcraft, living adultery and many more. If we do not deal with it, than it can be a snare unto us, a curse and it will flow through the generations to come. For example, if there's divorce cases in your family lineage, then that's a curse. If you never deal with it, it can harm you and your married life. You may think it's nothing, but let me tell you something, it can do the worst harm you can ever imagine. It will steal, kill and destroy you totally. Not only that, maybe there was in your family who consulted  witch doctor's, consumed alcohols, unknowingly they are already robbing you, killing you and destroying you little by little.

In today's verse, we see that Nehemiah's generation came in repentance before God and the turned back from all their wicked ways and be restored to God once again. They repented for their sins and the sins of their forefathers. Yet God was faithful and merciful to forgive them. "However You are just in all that has befallen us; For You have dealt faithfully, But we have done wickedly. Neither our kings nor our princes, Our priests nor our fathers, Have kept Your law, Nor heeded Your commandments and Your testimonies, With which You testified against them." God is faithful and just to forgive our sins if we confess it wholeheartedly before God and return to Him and be restored. You may not be aware of this, try asking your parents or grandparents about it and see to it that you confess and repent and break the generational curse.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The joy of the Lord is our strength...!

Nehemiah 8:10-11 NKJV

Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” So the Levites quieted all the people, saying, “Be still, for the day is holy; do not be grieved.”

******
Shalom! Day #194. Do you know that though we go through many obstacles, trials and testings, the joy of the Lord is there to give us the strength we need? Let's pray. Father, we declare the joy of the Lord is our strength,  the joy of the Lord is our strength! Let Your joy fill us and strengthen us to continue to run the race You have set for each one of us. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Although everyday we face many challenges, obstacles, trials and testing, yet there's always something that moves us, that drives us, that motivates us. O the joy of the Lord is our strength! Hallelujah! Amen! How many of you agree with me? This joy is not of the world, but from God. He gives strength to the weary and broken hearted,  to those who are heavy laden (Matthew 11:28), to those who are in need of a spiritual energy boost. The joy of the Lord is our strength!

In today's verse we see how Ezra declared to the whole Israelites and he said, "Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength." Therefore people the Lord says come to Me you who are heavy laden in (Matthew 11:28). Come to God and receive a new strength for everyday. As you start your day, every morning,  seek the Lord and allow the Lord to refill you once again with a new strength for each day. Everyday has its own battle, you need His strength to face your battle for that day.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The ground nut that forgets its shell...!

Nehemiah 5:14-19 NKJV

Moreover, from the time that I was appointed to be their governor in the land of Judah, from the twentieth year until the thirty-second year of King Artaxerxes, twelve years, neither I nor my brothers ate the governor’s provisions. But the former governors who were before me laid burdens on the people, and took from them bread and wine, besides forty shekels of silver. Yes, even their servants bore rule over the people, but I did not do so, because of the fear of God. Indeed, I also continued the work on this wall, and we did not buy any land. All my servants were gathered there for the work. And at my table were one hundred and fifty Jews and rulers, besides those who came to us from the nations around us. Now that  which was prepared daily was one ox and six choice sheep. Also fowl were prepared for me, and once every ten days an abundance of all kinds of wine. Yet in spite of this I did not demand the governor’s provisions, because the bondage was heavy on this people. Remember me, my God, for good, according  to all that I have done for this people.

******
Shalom! Day #193. Do you know that the fact is many people forget from where God has handpicked them? Let's pray. Father,  forgive us for treating our brethrens in such a worst conditions that we have forgotten from where You have handpicked us. Let us not forget from where we have come and let not practice or even rule harshly upon our brethren. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Many born again Christian and Christian forgets from where God handpicked them. There's a proverb in Malay, which says "kacang melupakan kulit" or in English it is "the ground nut that forgets its shell." This proverb is to address people who forget those people who have helped them before they have a good life. Many are like this. One thing I prayed to God, that no matter how successful I can be, never will I forget from where God handpicked me. My condition was muh more worst than the rubbish dump. I know from where I came, and will never forget it. From where I came and where I am now, it's because of His grace and mercy.

In today's verse we see how Nehemiah was when he was the governor of Judah. From being a cupbearer,  a slave to a governor of a nation, wow... now that's what God is able to do when you humble yourself before God. Nehemiah was given all the privilege as a governor, but he chose to keep it simple. He refused to eat the governor's provision because he knows what's the hardship is like to prepare the best meal for a governor. He didn't want to lay such a burdensome responsibility to his slaves, because he was a slave before. He treated all of his slaves justly and with kindness. He even continued is building the walls of Jerusalem and not sit in the governor's office and give orders.  Now, that's a true leader. Folks, never forget from where God gracefully mercifully handpicked us. The moment you forget it, is the moment pride come knocking your door. Beware,  lest you may fall because of this. Remain humble for God lifts humbled people to be the head not the tail. Even in the ministry, it doesn't matter how successful you are in the ministry,  remain humble. You did not achieve it on your own, but God caused you to prosper.

Be interested in the Master's works.....

Nehemiah 2:17-20 NKJV

Then I said to them, “You see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lies waste, and its gates are burned with fire. Come and let us build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer be a reproach.” And I told them of the hand of my God which had been good upon me, and also of the king’s words that he had spoken to me. So they said, “Let us rise up and build.” Then they set their hands to this good work. But when Sanballat the Horonite, Tobiah the Ammonite official, and Geshem the Arab heard of  it, they laughed at us and despised us, and said, “What is this thing that you are doing? Will you rebel against the king?” So I answered them, and said to them, “The God of heaven Himself will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build, but you have no heritage or right or memorial in Jerusalem.”

******
Shalom! Day #192. Do you know that when you mend God's businesses, He will mend your businesses? Let's pray. Father,  we pray that we would sincerely do Your works and ministry. We will be careful with every little things You've entrusted to us. In Jesus name we ask and pray, Amen!

If you want all the things you do to prosper, then you are at the right place. No, I'm not offering you some kind of business proposal neither a get rich scheme. What I'm about to share is something simple and easy to do. A simple yet profound truth that would unleashed the blessings of God upon your life. Well, if you put God first and do His works and ministry,  let me tell you this..... HE WILL BE INTERESTED IN THE THINGS YOU NEED, YOUR ARE DOING (your desires and of cause must be inline with God), YOUR FAMILY and everything you may need, He will provide. You shall not be in lack, but live in abundance of God.

In today's verse, we see how determined Nehemiah was in building the walls of Jerusalem. He was a cupbearer for the king, yet when he heard that Jerusalem lies in ruin, he forgets about his profession, his work and began to take interest in building the walls of Jerusalem and build it well. He did it with all his heart even there was oppositions, yet he with single hearted,  single minded,  with one focused,  he built the walls of Jerusalem and he prospered. God promoted him, from a cupbearer to a governor. If today you begin to put your priorities right, and you prioritize God first, you will begin to see how God works in your life, family and your works and studies.

Unfaithfulness is a disease...!

Nehemiah 1:8-9 NKJV

Remember, I pray, the word that You commanded Your servant Moses, saying, ‘ If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the nations; but if you return to Me, and keep My commandments and do them, though some of you were cast out to the farthest part of the heavens, yet I will gather them from there, and bring them to the place which I have chosen as a dwelling for My name.’

******
Shalom! Day #191. Do you know that there's a price every believers must pay if you are unfaithful to God? Let's pray. Father, we pray that we would remain faithful to You. Create in us A loyal and faithful heart. We do not want to be found unfaithful. In every ways of our lives, we will acknowledge You and continue to hold to Your words of truth. In Jesus name we ask and pray, Amen!

Unfaithfulness is a disease and it spreads very fast. Unfaithful is actually faithlessness. A person begin to lose faith on a person or on something. They will not be loyal and truthful anymore. People who are easily Disappointed and discouraged are the ones who fall into this trap. Why they are unfaithful? It's simply because they want everything to happen according to their ways and their timing and when it doesn't take place, they began to murmur, complain, and discouraging others who believe. Finally they turn their back against God.

And this is what God is saying to those who are unfaithful. " If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the nations; but if you return to Me, and keep My commandments and do them, though some of you were cast out to the farthest part of the heavens, yet I will gather them from there, and bring them to the place which I have chosen as a dwelling for My name." Wow... You will be isolated by God. You would not have any part in the things of God. Your condition will grow worst. But if you return,  repent and obey all His commands, though you were cast out to the farthest part of the world, He will bring you back and once again God will begin to use you, make you and mold you. God will bring you to place which He have chosen as a dwelling for His name. What does that means? It means, you will begin to see the manifestations of His plans and purposes for your life. You will begin to experience His presence. Hallelujah! Folks, let not this disease of unfaithfulness is found in us. Remain faithful till the end, and you shall receive the victor's crown.

A time to fast and pray...!

Ezra 8:21-23 NKJV

Then I proclaimed a fast there at the river of Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to seek from Him the right way for us and our little ones and all our possessions. For I was ashamed to request of the king an escort of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy on the road, because we had spoken to the king, saying, “The hand of our God is upon all those for good who seek Him, but His power and His wrath are  against all those who forsake Him.” So we fasted and entreated our God for this, and He answered our prayer.

******
Shalom! Day #190. Do you know that everything begins with a prayer and ends with a prayer? Let's pray. Father, as we begin this day, we want to begin by giving thanks to You for all the things You have for us today. We want to thank You for all the miracles You going to do today. Into Your hands we commit this day in prayer. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

How's our prayer life today? There's a verse in the bible which says "this kind of thing only can be done through prayer and fasting." One thing I practice before every revival meetings I organize is to take time to fast and pray, because I want to see God to do an extraordinary work during the revival meetings and also an extraordinary outpouring of His spirit upon all who comes for the meeting. True enough, every time I do that I witnessed God's power and glory. Yes, folks,  it's important that we take time to fast and pray. Prayer alone is good, but to see more greater works and miracles,  it is advised to fast and pray.

James spoke about prayer. He said, "Elijah was a normal man just like us, but the difference is He is a prayerful man and when he prayed fire came down." "The prayers of a righteous man avails much and has power." Fasting and prayer with praise and worship is a powerful weapon, use it freely and wisely. Prayer is our 2 way communication to God, so pray daily and every time you have the opportunity. So begin to fast and pray if you want to see great and mighty works of God in your life and ministry as well.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The Lord's favor...!

Ezra 7:27-28 NKJV

Blessed be the Lord God of our fathers, who has put such  a  thing as this in the king’s heart, to beautify the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem, and has extended mercy to me before the king and his counselors, and before all the king’s mighty princes. So I was encouraged, as the hand of the Lord my God was upon me; and I gathered leading men of Israel to go up with me.

******
Shalom! Day #189. Do you know that if God's hand is upon your life, you will have favor wherever you go? Let's pray. Father, Your favor last for a lifetime. Let Your favor, grace and mercy be with us wherever we are and in whatever we do. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The Lord's favor upon us is for a lifetime. The psalmist spoke about the Lord's favor in the book of psalms. How wonderful is it to see the Lord's hand is upon our lives andmthe best part is that we prosper in everything we do because of the Lord's favor and His mercy. If God's hand isn't upon the things we do, chances of seeing the thing prosper and bear fruit is very minimal, maybe it wont bear fruit at all. Even in the ministries we are involved in, if God's hand isn't upon it well you wont prosper. When the Lord's favor is upon us, doors of opportunities will just be opened for you. God will divinely connect you to people you not know of. Opportunities will just come knocking your door.

In today's verse we see how God was involved in Ezra's life. In everything he was doing, God was present and God was involved. Are we allowing God to be involved in our lives, family, ministry? If you aren't prospering in everything you do, then there's a problem. The problem is, God's hand isn't there, He isn't involved in the things you are doing. Time to reconsider.  Time to repent and to allow God to be in control,  not you.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

So he prospered...!

II Chronicles 31:8-10, 21 NKJV

And when Hezekiah and the leaders came and saw the heaps, they blessed the Lord and His people Israel. Then Hezekiah questioned the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps. And Azariah the chief priest, from the house of Zadok, answered him and said, “Since the  people began to bring the offerings into the house of the Lord , we have had enough to eat and have plenty left, for the Lord has blessed His people; and what is left is this great abundance.” And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, in the law and in the commandment, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart. So he prospered.

******
Shalom! Day #188. Do you know that blessings and abundance comes from God,  when you start to trust in God and begin to bring your first fruits to the house of God? Let's pray. Father, we know that You are the Lord that gives in abundance to us and that You do not withhold anything good from us. But God, many times we have withhold in giving our best to You, forgive us Lord. Teach us to give cheerfully. Thank You Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray, Amen!

I realize one thing. When i begin to set the house of God in order, I start to see blessings in abundance are filling the house of God. Many times I've witnessed this. Hezekiah did the same thing. He opened the house of God and set in order everything that's in the house of God. At first the was able to offer a small amount of sacrifice.  But as they obediently offered the sacrifice not looking whether it's in a small or big amount, God blessed them in abundance because of their obedience.

First fruits, well what is it?

1. It can be your time with God. Your need to set apart a tenth of your time to God. Seeking Him not just in your morning devotions, but at every time.

2. It can be your earnings. We must give a tenth of our tithes to the house of God. It's not because God is poor, but it's to teach us that God is able to bless and supply our every needs.

There's a few more that you can give to God,  such as your God given talents and giftings. You can use it to serve God and to give Him your utmost for His highest.  Blessings begins to flow when you've set your heart right before God. God will provide all that you need. You must give cheerfully and not being forced to give. Give wholeheartedly to God and you shall see the mighty works of God in your life. And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, in the law and in the commandment, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart. So he prospered.

Luke 6:38 NKJV

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

II Corinthians 9:6-8 NKJV

But this I  say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So  let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

And the Lord listened...

II Chronicles 30:9, 18-20 NKJV

For if you return to the Lord , your brethren and your children will  be  treated with compassion by those who lead them captive, so that they may come back to this land; for the Lord your God is  gracious and merciful, and will not turn His face from you if you return to Him.” For a multitude of the people, many from Ephraim, Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet they ate the Passover contrary to what was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, “May the good Lord provide atonement for everyone who  prepares his heart to seek God, the Lord God of his fathers, though he  is not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary.” And the Lord listened to Hezekiah and healed the people.

******
Shalom! Day #187. Do you know that if you turn back to God,  repent and seek His face, He will not turn His face from you? Let's pray. Lord, we've prepared our hearts to seek You. Let not Your face turn away from us. In Jesus name we ask and pray, Amen!

There's a verse in psalms and it goes something like this, "the Lord doesn't despise broken and contrite spirit." If today you return to God, He gives you a second chance and welcomes you. God listens to the cry of a broken hearted. If a generation can turn back to God,  I believe that the generation will be healed and restored. God is able to do that.

In today's verse, God listens to the prayers of Hezekiah. "And the Lord listened to Hezekiah and healed the people." The prayers of a righteous man avails much. Let us turn to God, allow Him to break us and make us anew.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Do not be negligent...!

II Chronicles 29:11 NKJV

My sons, do not be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand before Him, to serve Him, and that you should minister to Him and burn incense.”

******
Shalom! Day #186. Do you know that the fact is many are negligent regarding the call of God? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for being negligent towards Your call. Indeed it's a privilege to called and chosen by You. Lord, let this be it, the call that would change our lives for eternity.  In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The call of God upon your life is a precious, appointed and anointed call. Never ever look down at the call of God. There's a reason why God has called and chosen you. As for me, God took an unworthy person like me, cleansed me, called me, chosen me to do His will, therefore I count it a privilege to serve my Master. God did not choose you because you are so good or something,  but because of His grace and mercy.

In today's verse we see that there's a warning not to be careless or carelessly do the works of God. Many, as I mentioned earlier,  way too many servants of God are so careless and carelessly doing the works of God. A careless attitude can destroy us. Hezekiah, has an eye for details. He is very much careful with the things entrusted to him. In one of my earlier post, I've stated that many servants of God be it the pastor, elders, leaders, even those who involved in the worship team, ushering team, hospitality team, you can name it, they take it for granted in serving God. There's no a sense of responsibility. The worst judgement is for those who serving in the house of God. So my dear folks, please be reminded that in this last days God is asking us, His church to set in order the house of God. To be responsible over the things He has entrusted to us. To be diligent in doing the good works of God.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The battle belongs to the Lord...!

II Chronicles 20:2-4, 14-15, 17 NKJV

Then some came and told Jehoshaphat, saying, “A great multitude is coming against you from beyond the sea, from Syria; and they are in Hazazon Tamar” (which is  En Gedi). And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord , and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. So Judah gathered together to ask help from the Lord ; and from all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord . Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, in the midst of the assembly. And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord , who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord  is with you.”

******
Shalom! Day #185. Do you know that the secret of victory is that when you know that your battle is not yours but the Lord's? Let's pray. Father, we thank You for once again confirming and affirming Your word to us today. We know that You are the Lord of our battle, our Commander. Therefore Lord, take control that we may see the salvation of God in every battle we face. In Jesus name we ask and pray, Amen!

Everyone has their own battle everyday, be it a believer or an unbeliever each faces a different battle everyday. But for the believers there are some benefits when you go through the battles. There's hope for believers in every battle if they know the truth. This is my personal account of what God has done for me, in every battle I face since I began to know the Lord. At first it was hard for me to understand and to commit to God totally but then when I learn to do so, it's so much easy and I regret why I did not do it earlier. In every battle I face, it's like I want to do it my way, I want to solve it my way, but then it always ends up in failure and I learn my lesson. The way is simple,  just allow God to be in control. Be still and know that He is God and He is able to do it.

In today's verse, the Lord has to remind Jehoshaphat that who's the Boss is. So, the Lord spoke to Jehoshaphat and said, " Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord , who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord  is with you." Wow... what an extraordinary promise! This what the Lord is saying to us today! Stand still and see the salvation of God! So again, are you going through any problem, trouble, in the midst of battle may be between your families, or friends, or your colleagues or even the heathens are oppressing you, let it be known to you that the battle belongs to the Lord and not yours. You are not on your own, but God is with you!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Now is the time to seek God...!

II Chronicles 19:3, 7 NKJV

Nevertheless good things are found in you, in that you have removed the wooden images from the land, and have prepared your heart to seek God.” Now therefore, let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take care and do it, for there  is no iniquity with the Lord our God, no partiality, nor taking of bribes.”

******
Shalom! Day #184. Do you know that God still gives us a second chance to repent and reform and to turn back to God? Let's pray. Father, we forgive us for taking Your grace and mercy for granted. For it is by grace we have been saved therefore let us seek You once again. In Jesus name we ask and pray, Amen!

People were flocking to hear Jesus preach and to have their diseases healed, but Jesus made sure he often withdrew to quiet, solitary places to pray. Many things clamor for our attention, and we often run ourselves ragged attending to them. Like Jesus, however, we should take time to withdraw to a quiet and deserted place to pray. Strength comes from God, and we can only be strengthened by spending time with him. The grace of God isn't a license for us to continue to sin. Yes, God always gives a person a second chance to repent and reform and to turn back to God. Let us not take in vain the grace of God. Come, now is the time to seek God. Come now is the time to worship. Come just as you are before the Lord our God.

In today's verse, we see how Jehoshaphat was reminded and warned by a prophet pertaining to the thing he has done in alliance with Ahab. God's wrath was upon him, but nevertheless, there were good things found in him. So God gave him a chance to repent and to seek the Lord. God's one purpose is that humankind will repent and begin to seek God once again and that the relationship between man and God be restored. Now therefore, let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take care and do it, for there  is no iniquity with the Lord our God, no partiality, nor taking of bribes. You cannot bribe God to do things for you. I've heard many saying such statement,  "Lord, if You do this for me, then I will do that for you." Don't you think that it's a kind of bribery? Anyways, God is saying to is that NOW IS THE TIME TO SEEK HIM....TO SEEK HIM MORE...!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Producing good and quality leaders and workers...!

II Chronicles 17:3-10 NKJV

Now the Lord was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the former ways of his father David; he did not seek the Baals, but sought the God of his father, and walked in His commandments and not according to the acts of Israel. Therefore the Lord established the kingdom in his hand; and all Judah gave presents to Jehoshaphat, and he had riches and honor in abundance. And his heart took delight in the ways of the Lord ; moreover he removed the high places and wooden images from Judah. Also in the third year of his reign he sent his leaders, Ben-Hail, Obadiah, Zechariah, Nethanel, and Michaiah, to teach in the cities of Judah. And with them he  sent Levites: Shemaiah, Nethaniah, Zebadiah, Asahel, Shemiramoth, Jehonathan, Adonijah, Tobijah, and Tobadonijah—the Levites; and with them Elishama and Jehoram, the priests. So they taught in Judah, and had the Book of the Law of the Lord with them; they went throughout all the cities of Judah and taught the people. And the fear of the Lord fell on all the kingdoms of the lands that were around Judah, so that they did not make war against Jehoshaphat.

******
Shalom! Day #183. Do you know that as being a spiritual leader it is important we continue to teach and preach and equip and send people that they too may continue in the good work of the Lord? Let's pray. Father, as Isaiah said, "here I am, send me," therefore Lord, use us, send us to do Your will and accomplish Your purposes for our lives. Create a teachable heart in us that we may learn to do Your ministry according to Your ways. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Being a spiritual leader, example a pastor, elders, church leader, we must continue to make sure that there's continuous training and building-up of new workers and servants of God. For example,  apostle Paul trained Timothy and Timothy has proven himself to Paul in the works of the ministry. We must have our "Timothys" as well. We must equip the newer line-up of leadership to take on the challenge and prove themselves in the ministry.

In today's verse we can see how Jehoshaphat, trained his leaders.  Because Jehoshaphat walk in the ways of the Lord, so he make sure that his line up of leaderships do the same. It is written that Jehoshaphat took delight in the ways of the Lord. Are we delighting in the ways of the Lord or we are feeling that we are being forced into walking in the ways of the Lord? And because of what Jehoshaphat did, the fear of the Lord fell on all the kingdoms of the lands that were around Judah, so that they did not make war against Jehoshaphat. We must train up good quality leaders and not leaders for namesake.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

God is our Mighty Defender...!

II Chronicles 16:9 NKJV

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.”

******
Shalom! Day #182. Do you know that the eyes of the Lord is looking for those who are loyal and remain faithful to Him? Let's pray. Father,  we pray that as You search us, let us be found loyal and faithful to You. Let us not be foolish, but continue to grow in Your wisdom and knowledge. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

In this last days, God is looking for those who are faithful and loyal to Him. This are the people that will receive the victors crown.  To those whose faith is firm and strong in the Lord, they will never be shaken because God is mighty in power anf stronger than any forces. The Lord Himself will show to them how strong God is and what He is able to do for them. For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth just to find for you, who's heart is loyal to Him.

We have God as our Mighty Defender,  yet sometimes we rely upon human to provide help and so on. Most of the time we act foolishly by allowing the things of the world to pollute our faith and beliefs in God. We think that God's hand is too short to help us. We think that God cannot do the impossible.  Hey folks,  come on... my siblings, we prayed for 7 years for my mum's salvation.  On the seventh year she accepted Christ. Nothing is impossible for God. If you are praying for your family member, don't stop praying anf sharing, God will for aure create a miracle. Do not see the natural,  but see the supernatural. Do not see what's happening naturally but see what God is able to do supernaturally.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
