Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom...!

Job 28:28 NKJV

And to man He said, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, And to depart from evil is understanding.’ ”

Shalom! Day #208. Do you know that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom? Let's pray. Father, with all respect and reverence we come before You today. Give us wisdom and understanding today, that we may be able to differentiate good and evil. In Jesus name we ask and pray,  amen!

I start today's sharing from this verse Proverbs 9:10 NKJV “The fear of the Lord  is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. What this verse is trying to tell us is that, not to fear as if you are scared of God and that you are afraid to talk with God and so on. What this verse trying to say is, the respect and honor we have for God. The bible says, "if you are lack of wisdom,  ask from God." But the wisdom of God, comes when you humble yourselves before the Lord in respect and reverence to God.

In today's verse, I would like to show to us what the Spirit of God is saying to us today. Wisdom and understanding is given not just to those who ask of God,  but to those who humble themselves before God in respect and reverence. Some people liked to puff themselves up with the wisdom of the world, all the philosophies of the world and they think thy are greater than God and they think they can control God. Beware my friends, the danger awaits us for rely upon the worldly wisdom and understanding. Your respect and reverence must come from your heart to God. Do not be filled with the world's wisdom but come before God and ask of Him who gives it freely. The wisdom of God will teach you to differentiate the good and evil.  The understanding from God makes you to depart from evil. What understanding is this? The understanding of God, the understanding of His word, the understanding of His love, grace and mercy, the understanding of His lordship upon our lives and the understanding of His power. Amen! God bless you...!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
