What kind of sacrifice are you bringing to God...?

Malachi 1:8-9 NKJV

And when you offer the blind as a sacrifice, Is  it not evil? And when you offer the lame and sick, Is  it not evil? Offer it then to your governor! Would he be pleased with you? Would he accept you favorably?” Says the Lord of hosts. “But now entreat God’s favor, That He may be gracious to us. While this is being done by your hands, Will He accept you favorably?” Says the Lord of hosts.

******
Shalom! Day #273. Do you know that we give the best for ourselves, family and in everything we do, but we tend to give our second best to God? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for not giving You our utmost. We pledge to give You the best sacrifices, offerings, and every other things pertaining to Your ministry and Yourself, Lord.  Give us the courage to trust in You as we commit our ways to You, and as we offer ourselves to You as a living sacrifice. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

As a believer, we ought to give the very best to God, either in serving, tithing, offerings, our time, or even in our faith in Him. We tend to give the best for what is seen, and failed to give our utmost to what is not seen, our God. We need to change the way we think. The reason I say this because we might think that "ahh I rather give the best for me, my family and so on. I don't see God,  but I believe He is there, but then it's ok, I just give what I can." If this is our attitude towards God and His ways, sorry to say, we will never ever experience His blessings as well as living a stagnant Christian life - there will never be a spiritual growth. My utmost for His highest!

Now, entreat or ask from the Lord for His favor and mercy. That He may be gracious to us despite the evil we have done. Our 1st best is always must be for God alone,  He deserves your very best. He is worthy of the utmost of your heart. Your obedience to God must be from inside out, not from outside to out. He is not interested in our lip service, but He is interested in our hearts service! Give Him your best in everything you do in the name of the Lord and for the Lord.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

He refines us...!

Zechariah 13:9 NKJV

I will bring the one –third through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them. I will say, ‘This is My people’; And each one will say, ‘The Lord  is my God.’ ”

******
Shalom!  Day #272. Do you know that God will bring those that He has chosen through the refining fire to refine them as gold is refined, as silver is refined? Let's pray. Father, bring us through the refining fire and refine us thoroughly that we may become precious and priceless gold and silver. Mold us and make us anew. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

I will refine you as silver is refined and test you as gold is tested, says the Lord of hosts. The more a gold and silver is refined,  the more precious and priceless it is. As He refines us, let us allow Him to burn all the dross. His word's like a fire burning in our soul, burning up the dross and bringing forth the gold out of us. When God deeply refines you, it can come with terrible pain. But it eventually causes great happiness. Refining is a process of purification and sanctification. When we understand the purification process gold must endure to have the brilliant precious metal we know so well, we start to understand the significance of many verses that may confuse a "casual Bible reader." Simply understanding the many heating and cooling cycles through which the metal passes, we can equate that to our own Christian walks.

Purification and sanctification is an essential thing in order for a believer to walk his or her Christian faith. In this verse, the Lord mentioned that we will call on His name and He shall answer us. What a privilege it is for us as a believer. But we have to pay the price 1st. Allowing God to refine us thoroughly. He will not just create a clean and pure heart, but as well as creating a new heart that's obedient to His word and His will. God answers the prayers of an obedient and a believing heart. Let us allow Him to refine us continually until we became the precious and priceless gold and silver.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Ask the Lord for rain...!

Zechariah 10:1, 5-6 NKJV

Ask the Lord for rain In the time of the latter rain. The Lord will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, Grass in the field for everyone. They shall be like mighty men, Who tread down their  enemies In the mire of the streets in the battle. They shall fight because the Lord is with them, And the riders on horses shall be put to shame. “I will strengthen the house of Judah, And I will save the house of Joseph. I will bring them back, Because I have mercy on them. They shall be as though I had not cast them aside; For I am the Lord their God, And I will hear them.

******
Shalom! Day #271. Do you know that each one of us needs a time of refreshing and refilling? Let's pray. Father, as we come before You today, refill and refresh us eith You Spirit today. Come and rain down on us as we stand in Your presence today. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

There is a need for everyone to be refilled and refreshed in His presence.  The psalmist said that we are like the flowers in the field here today and gone tomorrow. For us to continue to be fresh and green, we must allow God to rain down on us a new. A fresh touch. A fresh encounter. Refilling of His presence. Refilling of His Spirit. We are the grass of the field, and we rely upon God to shower His rain on us. Now is the season of the outpouring of His latter rain,  His glory and His Spirit. Therefore ask the Lord to rain down on us a new anointing. Great is the glory of the latter rain. Great is the outpouring of His Spirit than before.

Great and mighty works to be done in this season, this generation. Each one of you, who are called by God shall be like the mighty men who tread down their enemies in every battle! They shall fight because the Lord is with them! Wow! Your soul must hunger after the Lord. As we hunger and thirst after His Spirit,  His presence, then you shall be filled and refreshed extraordinarily. Being empowered to do great and mighty works!

Below is a song by Planetshakers. When I read this portion of this scripture, this song came to my mind.

Title Rain down (2003).

I am falling to my knees
I need You Lord to breathe in me
My prayer is still the same
My heart is calling out Your name

Sweet anointing fill this place
I am found in Your embrace

Rain down on me
Rain down on me
Here in Your presence I am free
Pour down like rain
Come and touch me again
Lord let Your presence fall on me

I'm longing just to see
Your power and Your majesty

Sweet anointing fill this place
I am found in Your embrace

Sweet anointing
Wash me over
Sweet anointing
Wash me over.

Let this song be our prayer today.

There is hope...!

Zechariah 9:12, 16-17 NKJV

Return to the stronghold, You prisoners of hope. Even today I declare That I will restore double to you. The Lord their God will save them in that day, As the flock of His people. For they shall  be  like the jewels of a crown, Lifted like a banner over His land— For how great is its goodness And how great its beauty! Grain shall make the young men thrive, And new wine the young women.

******
Shalom! Day #270. Do you know that for those who hope is in the Lord, shall receive double portions of His Spirit, blessings and many more? Let's pray. Father, thank You for being our source of hope. In You we trust. You are our hope and salvation, our only hope for living. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

We are prisoners of hope, filled with hope. Being captured and captivated by His love that we may put all our hope and trust in Him alone. For those whose hope is in the Lord shall receive a double portions of everything what God going to restore to them. Those whose hope is in the Lord shall be saved. If you are hopeless about your life and every other things well now is the time to put your hope and trust in Jesus!  You shall be like the jewel, more precious thant the jewel. The Lord shall lift you like a banner over His land.

If you put your 100% trust and hope in the Lord, then you shall know and see His greatness in your life. Do no falter as you trust and hope in Him. Things may not be as how you want, but hey God knows what He is doing.

He is able to change the curse into blessing...!

Zechariah 8:12-13 NKJV

‘For the seed shall  be prosperous, The vine shall give its fruit, The ground shall give her increase, And the heavens shall give their dew— I will cause the remnant of this people To possess all these. And it shall come to pass That just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, So I will save you, and you shall be a blessing. Do not fear, Let your hands be strong.’

******
Shalom!  Day #269. Do you know that the Lord is able to change your curse into blessing and your problems into opportunities? Let's pray. Father, we welcome you into our lives today, come and change the situations of our lives that we may be a blessing to others. That You would cause us to increase and be fruitful in everything we do. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

You know, God is able to change your curse into an extraordinary blessing and He causes you to be a blessing to others as well. Every curse is a blessing.  NO, I'm not saying that the curse is a blessing, but what I meant is God is able to change that curse into an extraordinary blessing for you. What man meant bad for us, God can turn that to be a blessing to us. God can cause the barren land to be futile and bear fruits. You shall possess all the blessings He has prepared for you and I.

Do not fear, let your hands be strong! Don't be fearful of what people going to do or has done to you. Don't be fearful of what the devil can do to you. Jesus is able to not just help you but to save you. Let your hands be strong. Be strong in the Lord for nothing can come near you. Before it comes, the Lord is already there to sheild it from you.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

....but by My Spirit....

Zechariah 4:6 NKJV

So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.

******
Shalom!  Day #268. Do you know that many amongst the servants of God today trying to serve and impress God by their own might and power? Let's pray. Father, thank You for this brand new day, a day filled with a purpose and Your plans for us. As we serve You today, let Your Spirit give us the strength that we need for today. A new Spirit, power and might from You to us today. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Many of us are trying to do our best in serving God,  but we aren't able to get the best out of us. Why? Because we've been trying with our might and power. Many of us don't really understand what it means to serve God. Some serve to impress people and God outwardly. They use all their outward talents and skills to serve just to get people's approval. Thank God for the talents, skills and giftings. Yet the Lord says lean not on your own understanding. But then,  still we are trying to impress and serve God with our own understanding, strength, wisdom, our ways and abilities. Whenever I lead worship, I always say to the worship team, just flow with His Spirit and not with our talents and skills. When His Spirit is at work, you shall witness great and mighty things.

Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord. When we die to ourselves and allow His Spirit to take control, the you shall see the power of God! More of His Spirit and less of ourselves. We serve not because we are so talented, so skilled, so extraordinary... NO! It is by His Spirit we are able to see the great and mighty works of God through us and in us. Never ever say that OH I DID IT ON MY OWN STRENGTH OR I DID IT MY WAY...! When you die to yourself then the Lord is able to use you. A selfless attitude. It's not about us, but it's everything about HIM since the creation of humankind and this whole universe! Lift the name of Jesus high above every name! We shine because of His glory, His Spirit,  not ours.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The signet ring...

Haggai 2:4-5, 23 NKJV

Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel,’ says the Lord ; ‘and be strong, Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land,’ says the Lord , ‘and work; for I am with you,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘ According  to the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit remains among you; do not fear!’ ‘In that day,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘I will take you, Zerubbabel My servant, the son of Shealtiel,’ says the Lord , ‘and will make you like a signet ring; for I have chosen you,’ says the Lord of hosts.”

******
Shalom!  Day #267. Do you know that when you arestrong and immovable in the Lord, you are like the signet ring of God, you have every authority to bind and loose, to destroy and plunder every works of the devil? Let's pray. Father, we acknowledge the power and the authority which You have entrusted to us. Help us to boldly use it in every situations of our. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Be strong! Be strong for the Lord of hosts is with you. Do not be crippled by your situations, problems, sickness, sadness and so on, but be strong and stand strong. The Lord goes on saying, "My Spirit remains among you, DO NOT FEAR! We are fearful of this and that, yet as a believer we always forget that the Lord Himself is with us. The Lord promised this us. Egypt,  was a land of slavery. The Lord promised it to us when we came out of slavery,  to this very day, He is still with us. And if God is with us, it means His power and authority is with us as well.

A signet ring, is a ring that carries power and authority. God has given to everyone of us this signet ring. The Word of God is our signet ring. You have the power and authority to bind and loose, to destroy and plunder,  to uproot and tear down, to build and establish, to rebuke and cast out. Once a decree that's been sealed by the signet ring, must be carried out unless and until the owner revokes the decree. Your signet ring is the Living Word of God. Don't be afraid to use it. Use the signet ring,  the Word of God in every situation of your life for He has chosen you and I to live by it and walk by it. You have the power and authority to release decrees upon yourself and your surroundings. The devil knows that you don't know this truth! Now that you have known, please do something about it.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

My house that is in ruins...!

Haggai 1:4, 6-9 NKJV

“ Is  it  time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, and this temple to  lie in ruins?” “You have sown much, and bring in little; You eat, but do not have enough; You drink, but you are not filled with drink; You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; And he who earns wages, Earns wages to  put into a bag with holes.” Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Consider your ways! Go up to the mountains and bring wood and build the temple, that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified,” says the Lord . “ You looked for much, but indeed it  came  to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why?” says the Lord of hosts. “Because of My house that is  in ruins, while every one of you runs to his own house.

******
Shalom!  Day #266. Do you know that we are so interested in building a good and beautiful house for us but we let our spiritual house, His temple to lie in ruins? Let's pray. Father forgive us for neglecting Your house. Give us a concerned heart to rebuild Your house. Help us to focus in the eternal things and not on the temporary things. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

We are so carried away in having an extravagant, beautiful and luxurious house - no, it's nothing wrong with it, but then at the same time we neglect the conditions of the temple of God. When we neglect the conditions of His temple,  well, we will never prosper in anything we do. Folks, this is a serious matter. The Lord is saying here “You have sown much, and bring in little; You eat, but do not have enough; You drink, but you are not filled with drink; You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; And he who earns wages, Earns wages to  put into a bag with holes.” It doesn't matter how much you earn and bring back home, at the end of the day it still remained not enough, because you earn wages just to put into the bag with holes. When our spiritual house lies in ruin, and we tend to build our physical house, meaning to say to keep our physical looking good outwardly,  but inwardly it's rotting day by day, no matter how good we look outside, still we will never ever be satisfied. We are so carried away about our outward appearance, we fail to take good care of our inward.

God is interested in restoring His temple. And He wants you and I to rebuild His temple. How is the condition of your temple today? Consider your ways, says the Lord! Which is more important to us? Outward appearance or inward? Our heart, Spirit,  His temple lies in ruin! Many followers of Christ,  they seem to be fulfilling the call of God outwardly, but inwardly,  the spirit is dying. Because there is no personal relationship with God. There is not personal touch of God in their lives. As I mentioned in my earlier post, Jesus is the centre of our living,  our source for living, if we do not involve and include Jesus in our lives, whatever we do it will never ever prosper. Let's build our spiritual house, His temple, then let Him build our lives. For we are the temple of the Holy Spirit.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The Lord rejoices over you...!

Zephaniah 3:17 NKJV

The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”

******
Shalom! Day #265. Do you know that the Lord floods you with His love and rejoices over you? Let's pray. Father, let Your love surrounds us and let us feel the warmth of Your embrace. We thank You for Your love is new every morning. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The bible says that He will never leave us nor forsake us. The Lord is real in our midst.  He is in our midst and He is mighty to save you and I from every attacks, every troubled times, every kind of situations of our lives. He is strong,  He is mighty. He is our deliverer, our tower of refuge. He rejoices over those who turn back to God with all their hearts. He rejoices over those who serve Him with all their hearts.  He rejoices over those who seek Him with all their hearts. He rejoices over those who worship Him with all their hearts.

As He rejoices over you,  He fills us with His love anew. Wow! The Lord our God has a reason to rejoice over us. His love alone is enough for us. Let God refill us with His new love. Come, now is the time. Now is the time for God to rejoice over you! Let God be real in our lives as we be real before Him!

Call for repentance...!

Zephaniah 2:3 NKJV

Seek the Lord , all you meek of the earth, Who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden In the day of the Lord ’s anger.

******
Shalom! Day #264. Do you know that many of unbelievers and believers say WHY SHOULD I REPENT,  FOR I HAVE NOT SIN? Let's pray.  Father, we come before You in repentance today. Forgive us as we seek Your righteousness and Your kingdom. In humbleness we come, we bow before You with an open heart to receive healing and to be restored. In Jesus name we ask and pray,  amen!

Matthew 6:33 all know this verse. Today,  I'm gonna share about call to repentance. We always have heard people saying this especially amongst the unbelievers WHY SHOULD I REPENT, I HAVEN'T SIN. The Lord says humble yourself and come before Me and I will heal and restore you. But then, humbleness is not found in our hearts nowadays. We tend to be prideful before God. Seek Him with all humility,  in humbleness of our hearts before Him. Seek the Lord while there is time you. Don't wait till you are at your death bed then you want to repent and begin to seek the Lord.

That you will be hidden in the day of the Lord's anger. A humble heart always has a place in His heart. King David, he was the worst of all men of God in the bible, yet he has a place in God's heart. Why? Because though he sinned many times, yet he humbly come before God in repentance. Seek the Lord with all your heart. Come, and receive your healing. Let His kingdom and His righteousness be established in our hearts.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Yet I will rejoice in the Lord...!

Habakkuk 3:18-19 NKJV

Yet I will rejoice in the Lord , I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills...

******
Shalom! Day #263. Do you know that your source of joy and strength is from God? Let'spray. Father, we want to rejoice in You for You are our joy and strength and the source of our salvation. Be it in the valley or as high and the hills, we will rejoice in the Lord forever for the great and mighty things which you have done. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Yet I will rejoice in the Lord. What is the reason we are rejoicing in the Lord today? Onething we as a Christian must know is from where our source of help comes from. The world does not give us the amount of excitement, joy and thrills as how our God has given to us. There is always a reason to rejoice. My reason to rejoice in the Lord today is the salvation that He has given to me. The bible mentions that THE JOY OF THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH. Are you weak? Are you sad? Brokenhearted? Disappointed? You have fallen and no strength to rise again,  well the secret here is the joy of the Lord. You got to draw the joy from the Lord to give you strength to be alive and lively again.

He makes our feet like deer feet. Think of how graceful deer are. Can you imagine them running and jumping in their swiftness. Even so as they climb higher and higher. Not one foot slips. They are naturals at it. God is training us through these rough times to continue the journey with swiftness and gracefulness even in the tough spots. He is our strength and will get us through. Not by escape alone, though sometimes that happens, but by training us to go through it. What a wonderful thing God does.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The just shall live by faith...!

Habakkuk 2:4, 14 NKJV

“Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the Lord , As the waters cover the sea.

******
Shalom!  Day #262. Do you know that without faith it is impossible to please and serve God? Let's pray. Father, let our faith to increase and grow in You. Let our faith be unshakeable because You are our firm foundation. Let Your glory be filled in this earth as we witness Your miracles and Your power. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

But the just shall live by faith. Faith is a simple topic. We cannot believe in God if we don't have faith. We cannot please God if we don't have faith. What is faith and why is it so important and essential to our Christian walk? Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. Wow, I just understood the power of faith. The world we know now was framed by the word of God. Which means God did not have a line ups of architects to build the world, but He releases His Word, and His Word creates everything into existence. The things which are seen were not made of the things are visible. Speak into existence of the things unseen. The things we want to see are not made by what is seen,  but it is made in the spiritual realm first. Spiritual creates the natural.

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God. When your faith is activated,  you shall stand in awe at His awesomeness! The wondrous works of God in your life, family, work, studies, ministries is the result of your faith in Him. No faith, no miracles! When you have faith, God can take the emptiness of our lives and create it into something extraordinary! God is the Creator of heaven and earth, can create a miracle for you today,  if you have faith to believe and to see it in spiritual realm before you see it in reality. Faith penetrates into every impossibilities. Faith sees far more deeper than our eyes can see.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Be utterly astounded...!

Habakkuk 1:5 NKJV

“Look among the nations and watch— Be utterly astounded! For I  will work a work in your days Which you would not believe, though it were told you.

******
Shalom! Day #261. Do you know that there is still unbelief and doubt in our hearts? Let's pray. Father, we come to you today seeking for your forgiveness. Forgive us for our unbelief and doubt. We choose to believe in You and Your works. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen.

I'm sure everyone of us knows the story of Thomas, the disciple of Jesus Christ. Oh unbelieving Thomas. When every other disciples said that they have seen the Lord,  Thomas choose not to believe. He said, "unless I see the nail pierced hands and touch it, then I will believe." Many of us are in that same condition. In this verse,  God is saying the He will work a work in our days whih we would noy believe, though it has been spoken to us. Many wants to see, then believe. Apostle Paul says "I believe therefore I speak." He believe therefore He spoke into existence the things which are not seen yet. Be utterly astounded!

We who knows the truth of His word sometimes become astounded at His works. Mesmerized at His awesomeness! All those unthinkable, unimaginable works of God will be demonstrated in this generation. Be ready, be prepared to witness His awesomeness! What do you want to see happen in our generation,  speak it out. Declare it according to His will and see it taking place!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The Lord looks into our hearts...!

Nahum 1:7 NKJV

The Lord  is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him.

******
Shalom!  Day #260. Do you know that the Lord looks at your heart and He knows everything about your heart? Let's pray. Father,  we pray that You will search out our hearts and know our thoughts,  that we may be found faithful towards You. Lord, we pray as King David prayed, search us oh Lord, and seek out our hearts and surround us with Your Spirit today. In Jesus name we ask and we pray, amen!

The Lord is good. Yes, the Lord is good! A stronghold in the day of trouble. He is our refuge. A strong tower and people who runs into Him shall be saved! But do you know that He knows the intentions of our hearts? Many believers, yes they believe in Jesus for custom sake, but then they don't really trust in Him. In good times they forget about Jesus. In trouble times they run to God for help. It's like Jesus being a hospital in emergency situations. I'm not saying all, but most of us are entangled by such attitude. The Lord is near to those who seek Him with all their heart.

He knows those who trust in Him wholeheartedly. Why such attitude? Well because it's about our heart. The attitude of our hearts. Many at times I have seen, people who long time did not come to church suddenly comes to church when there is a need. And after the need is met, they are no longer in church. Again it's all about the attitude of our hearts. Folks, it's now or never. People judge us by outward appearance, but God looks into the depth of our heart. So be real and be true to God.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Look to the Lord...!

Micah 7:7-8 NKJV

Therefore I will look to the Lord ; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me. Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, The Lord  will  be a light to me.

Shalom! Day #259. Do you know that you have a choice, a choice to either rise up when you fall or remain fallen? Let's pray. Father, give us the will power and enable us to rise up and soar like the eagle,  when we fall. Even when I walk through the valley of darkness,  You are my light and I shall not fear.  In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

You know, to whom you look to in the times of trials and testing, in the times of facing problems is really important. Because there is hope in whom you believe in. Cause you know that he or she is able to help you. But putting our confidence and trust in human,  it always ends in disappointment. When you look to the Lord and call upon His name, you are sure and confident of the help from Him. In this verse, the writer is extremely confident of the help from God.  He said "Therefore I will look to the Lord ; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me." It shows how confident he is. He knows where is the source of his help is. He knows than when he calls upon the name of the Lord,  God will hear and save him.

If you have time, please read psalms 23, it's interrelated with this verse. In the midst raging sea and stormy weather,  be still and know that He is God.  When you fall into hee raging sea and stormy weather, rise up and stand strong. Enemy always takes advantage of us when we fall, but then even when you have fallen and your confidence and faith is strong, the enemy will not be albe to step on your head because you firmly holding on to the Lord! Even you walk in the thick darkness,  the Lord shall be your light!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Catch the vision...!

Micah 6:8 NKJV

He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?

******
Shalom! Day #258. Do you know that the Lord has shown to each one of us what we must do? Let's pray. Father, we pray today Holy Spirit help us not to neglect the visions and dreams which You have shown to us. Forgive us for our negligence. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Many a times we are in negligence of the things of God. The vision, the passion, the mission and the dreams He has given to us, we neglect it. Do you understand what the Lord requires of us? He is asking us to catch the visions and passions which He has shown to us and do something about it. In this verse, for example He is telling us to live justly,  to love mercy and to walk humbly with our God.

Come on people. We must be sensitive with the move of God. We must move together with God. If you want to see this generation to be saved and to be revived, then do something about what the Lord has shown to you.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Jesus be the centre...!

Micah 5:4 NKJV

And He shall stand and feed His  flock In the strength of the Lord , In the majesty of the name of the Lord His God; And they shall abide, For now He shall be great To the ends of the earth;

******
Shalom! Day #257. Do you know that it is the Lord that strengthens us, make us to stand and to serve His flocks boldly,  courageously, confidently and fervently? Let's pray. Father, we acknowledge that You are the source of our life for living, serving and moving. Lord, as we serve you, give us our daily supply as we continue to serve You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Let me ask you one thing. Who called you into the ministry? Was it your pastor? Or a prophet? Or your parents ask you to serve? Or your friends may be? Well the bible clearly says that YOU DID NOT CHOOSE ME, BUT I CHOOSE YOU. You have been called by the Lord and not your families, pastors, prophets or your friends. The one mistake we often do is to serve Him with our own strength, wisdom and abilities. The Lord our God is the source of the ministry we do. Jesus is the centre of our everything.  Without Him we are nothing.

You don't have to be worried of how to serve Him, or how to do this and that. He that called you is faithful and is able to do anything! So as we continue to serve Him, let us serve Him faithfully. Let us jut rely upon Him alone. No I am not cracking up some stories here. But true story. Jesus is he only source I have, and there will never be one like Him. So I put my trust in Him and never doubt Him. His help is on time, never late. So yeah let's focused on Him and serve Him!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Walk in His name...!

Micah 4:5 NKJV

For all people walk each in the name of his god, But we will walk in the name of the Lord our God Forever and ever.

******
Shalom!  Day #256. Do you know that many of us are entangled with the worldly "gods", be it your celebrities idol, pop artists, your fleshy desires, your man made "gods"? Let's pray. Father forgive us for walking in the name and parading false "gods", idols and so on. Help us today to see that it is only You the true living God and there is none besides You. In Jesus name we ask and pray,  amen!

One day I was listening to the radio, a very well known radio channel in Malaysia. And during one of their shows, a prank call slot, there was this two girls, the deejays prank them. They supposed to get a ticket to a very well known boy band concert, but then when the deejay told them that both of you may not be able to go because disqualified and so on, this two girls begin to cry. I was listening to the program and I was like what in the world does this girls thinks? Just because they got pranked by the deejays, they are crying for their self made god, the boy band! At that moment I felt that, no I'm not judging,  but it's simply I don't think so they would even cry for their parents!

What are we parading today? In whose name are we walking for and walking in today? Are portraying Christ or are we portraying the celebrities? Live your life right. Walk for God, walk in God!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Why are you angry...?

Jonah 4:3-4, 9-11 NKJV

Therefore now, O Lord , please take my life from me, for it  is better for me to die than to live!” Then the Lord said, “ Is  it right for you to be angry?” Then God said to Jonah, “ Is  it right for you to be angry about the plant?” And he said, “ It  is right for me to be angry, even to death!” But the Lord said, “You have had pity on the plant for which you have not labored, nor made it grow, which came up in a night and perished in a night. And should I not pity Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than one hundred and twenty thousand persons who cannot discern between their right hand and their left—and much livestock?”

******
Shalom!  Day #255. Do you know that most of the time we are angry we often say this phrase "Better to die than to live to...." ? Abba Father, forgive us for not valuing the life you have given to us. Forgive us for carelessly throwing out our words. Teach us today to value this life that You have given. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

We often get angry at certain matters and often we throw out this sentence "ah it's better to die than to live to go through...or something in the same manner." The bible says DO NOT SIN WHEN YOU ARE ANGRY. So Yeah, we must be watchful of the words that comes out of our mouth. We get angry and we curse people. We get angry and we say Lord come and do something to this person or that person. We get angry and we judge people. We get angry and we want to murder someone. Cain murdered Abel because of anger and jealousy. We stuck in a traffic jam, we get angry and we curse the people that caused the jam, be it an accident or the road works workers. It's not wrong in getting angry.  What's wrong is the action that follows the anger. Jesus was filled with angry when people were selling and buying in the house of God. But even in that condition, He did not murder or curse anyone.

Jonah was angry because God didn't do as what He has spoken to Jonah. When he questioned God, God replied him saying that "when you show pity on the things you have not labored for, therefore I show pity on the things that I have planted and labored, well I paraphrased it. We often get angry at God for not doing the things we want,  we feel disappointed at God. But then when we think back, there is something good why God did not answer our prayers. I was an angry person before, but then when Jesus came into my life, He changed everything about my life. We have the rights to be angry, but then think before you say anything or do anything in your anger. Anyways,  have a blessed and fruitful day today!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Do not run away from your calling...!

Jonah 2:2-3, 6 NKJV

And he said: “I cried out to the Lord because of my affliction, And He answered me. “Out of the belly of Sheol I cried, And You heard my voice. For You cast me into the deep, Into the heart of the seas, And the floods surrounded me; All Your billows and Your waves passed over me. I went down to the moorings of the mountains; The earth with its bars closed behind me forever; Yet You have brought up my life from the pit, O Lord , my God.

******
Shalom! Day #254. Do you know that when God has chosen you and He has purposed in His heart to use you, no matter how far you run or how deep you hide, He will still find you and use you. Let's pray. Father,  let us not run away from our calling, from the things You have asked us to do. But give us the courage and boldness to step into Your plans and Your purposes and Your will for our lives. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Sometimes or shall I say most of the time we as a Christian, choose to run away from our calling. God called me to serve Him in 2001, but I ran away from that calling until one fine day in 2008 God taught me a lesson and that lesson was a turning point in my life to heed His calling. I wasn't ready at that time. Yes, most of us are like that. Even Jonah, ran away from his calling. Got swallowed into the belly of a whale. Yet, even in that condition, when he cried out to God, He answered and helped him.

Many people turn to the Lord when they yave fallen into the deep pit where the darkness is terrifically thick. Yet when they realizes that God is the only help they have, and when the call upon the name of the Lord, He hears and answers and will take them out of the deep pit. Why? Because there is a plan and a purpose for your life, the calling of God! God chooses you to execute His plans and purposes. Do not run away from His calling or else you will have to learn a hard lesson before you get back to your calling.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Now is the time for the rebuilding of the Tabernacle of David...!

Amos 9:11 NKJV

“On that day I will raise up The tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, And repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, And rebuild it as in the days of old;

******
Shalom! Day #253. Do you know that our personal altar of worship is in shattered condition? Let's pray. Father, we want to come back to the place where You first encountered us. To the place of worship. Lord, build the tabernacle of David in our hearts today, that we may live to bring sacrifices of praise and thanksgiving unto You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

In this last days, God is rebuilding the shattered tabernacle, the tabernacle which has fallen down. Tabernacle of David is a tabernacle of worship. The bible says that He is looking for those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth. God is rebuilding the shattered tabernacle of David because it is the base for every other things. Through worship we are able to bring down every stronghold. Through worship we see reconciliation, restoration and healing. What is the condition of our personal tabernacle? It is now the time for God to step in to repair and rebuild the tabernacle.

We are the temple of God. Therefore from within the temple,  sacrifices of praise and thanksgiving must be lifted up. Worship, adoration and the attitude of reverence towards God is the essential and the foundation for an intimate relationship with God. Building the tabernacle, means building of ourselves by God. He is building up a generation that worships. He is rising up a generation that seeks the face of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. You may ask why worship? Well, only through worship every strongholds is destroyed. That's the reason, Jehoshaphat sends the Levites ahead of His army. As they lifted up their voice in worship and praises, God brought confusion into the enemies camp. Let God to rebuild us once again, that we may proclaim of His goodness and His miraculous works to humankind.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

From zero to hero...!

Amos 7:14-15 NKJV

Then Amos answered, and said to Amaziah: “I was no prophet, Nor was I a son of a prophet, But I was a sheepbreeder And a tender of sycamore fruit. Then the Lord took me as I followed the flock, And the Lord said to me, ‘Go, prophesy to My people Israel.’

******
Shalom!  Day #252. Do you know God is able to use a zero to be a hero? Let's pray. Father,  as we avail ourselves to You today, from our nothingness, we pray that You would create something extraordinary today. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

There is this verse in the bible that says, "what good can come out of Nazareth?" But they didn't know that God has preplaned for a Savior to come out from Nazareth. We are like the Nazareth. People may ask what good can come out of us. From a zero to a hero in God! The world may reject you, but God accepts you! God doesn't need a very clever person or a well literate person to do His work. God used a stammer,  Moses,  to lead a generation.  God used David to defeat goliath. God uses the worlds reject to shut people's mouth. There was an event where Jesus rode on a donkey into Jerusalem. God can use anyone who avails themselves to the Lord. Please do not give your second best, but your very best. There is a book by Oswald Chambers, "My utmost for His highest." Are we giving our utmost for His highest?

I'm not a prophet. I wasn't born in a strong Christian family. My parents wasn't servants of God. I don't know anything about the bible. Zero knowledge of theology.  Yet, I didn't choose Him, but He choose me. I'm glad to be that donkey to carry Jesus around. But i have been called to be a prophet to the nations, i am not there yet. Even as Daniel, God gave me the gifts of interpreting dreams. People,  even to this despises me, rejecting me but Jesus is always there to accept me. From nothing to something. From nobody to somebody. If you are faithful to your calling, you shall see how high God can take you in the ministry.  Just remain faithful and do what He says and be humble. Now, do you think God uses the learned people only? Rethink ministry!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Seek the Lord and live...

Amos 5:4, 6 NKJV

For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel: “Seek Me and live; Seek the Lord and live, Lest He break out like fire in the house of Joseph, And devour it, With no one to quench it in Bethel—

******
Shalom! Day #251. Do you know that our source of living is from the Lord and without Him we are nothing? Let's pray.  Father, without You we are nothing for You are the source of our life. From You comes life. As we continue to seek You, let our spiritual and physical being live. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Seek Me and live. You know, the bible says in Matthew 6:33 Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and every other things pertaining to our life shall be added unto us. The kingdom of God is a Kingdom of everlasting life. As we seek His kingdom we receive abundant life from Him and His righteousness,  the truth of His Word, enables us to live. His truth sustains us. Seek Me with all your heart and you shall find me. Seeking God is not a somehow kind a thing. How do you seek then? Through His word, through worship,  through waiting and meditating. His kingdom is all about truth and righteousness. When you seek Him with all your heart, yes and for sure you will live and not die. No, it doesn't mean that you will live on earth forever, but your spirit lives forever.

When you seek Him wholeheartedly,  you shall receive the truth. And because of the truth of His word, you shall live when you take in the word, digest it and live by it. His kingdom and His truth must be established in our hearts in order for our spiritual life to prosper. Deuteronomy 4:29 NKJV But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. Psalms 119:2 NKJV Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart!

Seek Him more and you shall live!

Prepare to meet your God...!

Amos 4:12 NKJV

“Therefore thus will I do to you, O Israel; Because I will do this to you, Prepare to meet your God, O Israel!”

******
Shalom! Day #250. Do you know that we are not prepared to meet our God yet? Father, prepare us for Your second coming, to meet You face to face. I know that I am not ready spiritually, Lord prepare me. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Prepare to meet Your God, believers! Are we ready for His second coming? There is a video clip in youtube titled "ready or not, Jesus is coming." It's about the rapture time. Rapture time can happen anytime,  His second coming can happen anytime. Are we ready? I was hit by a one tonne lorry yesterday. While I was crossing the road to the other side, this lorry driver,  he is already at the wrong side of the road, yet he still insist to divert into the road way which I was crossing and he hit me from front and I was thrown back and even he got the guts to scold me and speedily drove away. I was stunned, shocked and wondering what just happened. At that split seconds of my life, if I die, am I ready and prepared to see my God? No I am not. There is a pile of filthy rags in my life which God is working on now. I'm not ready and not clean. But my heart longs to be with my God.

Anyways, our time is limited. As you grow in the Lord, allow Him to purge every filthy rags from our lives. Allow Him to cleanse us whiter than the snow. Live a life that's faithful to Him. The first thing as believers we need to do is, allowing God to cleanse us and secondly remain faithful no matter how deep the pain and suffering is, we must endure and persevere it. Prepare to meet your God!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

With all your heart...!

Joel 2:12-13, 32 NKJV

“Now, therefore,” says the Lord , “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is  gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm. And it shall come to pass That  whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the Lord has said, Among the remnant whom the Lord calls.

******
Shalom! Day #249. Do you know that salvation is not in any other "gods" name, nor in any religion nor in any person,  but only in the name of Jesus? Let's pray. Father, as we call upon the name Lord, come and save us from our sins as we turn to You wholeheartedly. Let not Your wrath be poured into this generation but by Your grace and mercy come and save us. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Again God is not interested in how talented or skilled we are. He is interested in our hearts. He did not say, "turn to me with all your talents and skills." He says "turn to Me with all your heart with fasting, with weeping and with mourning." Rend your heart. It means to tear your heart. Secrets are hidden in the secret place and when you break open, secret is no more a secret. Why God is interested with our heart? Because when you tear your heart, every hidden issues of the heart is exposed to the Lord. Yes the Lord knows every little things about us, yet He does not force His way to us. He can always crush our heart but He is gentle. He wants us willingly to do so and not by force. For He is gracious and merciful,  slow to anger and of great kindness.

When you break open your heart, with fasting, with weeping and with mourning and as you call upon the name of the Lord, He shall come and He shall save. For salvation is not in a religion, not in the fake gods, not in the wood and stones, but only IN THE NAME OF JESUS! For there is no other name under heaven for by which a man can be saved. When we turn to God in repentance, turn wholeheartedly. Break open our heart and He shall perform the perfect miracle. So what are we waiting for?

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The righteous shall walk...!

Hosea 14:9 NKJV

Who is wise? Let him understand these things. Who  is prudent? Let him know them. For the ways of the Lord  are right; The righteous walk in them, But transgressors stumble in them.

******
Shalom! Day #248. Do you know that no transgressors are able to walk, stand or hold on to the ways of God unless and until he or she repents? Let's pray. Father, in our imperfections you made us perfect. In our unrighteousness, You made us righteous. So please help us to walk and not stumble in our transgressions. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Let Him understand and know these things. What things? The things of God.  Let him understand the ways God works, understand His will, understand His laws and understand His truth. The ways of the Lord are always right. We must get into His ways and not binding Him into our ways. Foolishness is when we try to modify the ways of the Lord to suite our desires,  our ways and our plans. People who say they are Christian yet not living according to His ways, will try to modify, bind His ways just to suite their mood and so on, yet , they stumble and fall because they ways of God are higher than our ways, thoughts, plans.

If we profess to know the Lord, therefore it must be followed with an action. An action that shows a righteous living as a believer. The righteous will walk in the understanding of the Lord.  The righteous shall live in the ways of the Lord.  The righteous shall prosper in the ways of the Lord. The righteous shall be victorious in the ways of the Lord. Let us therefore live in the righteousness of God and walk in them.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Wait on your God continually...!

Hosea 12:6 NKJV

So you, by the  help  of your God, return; Observe mercy and justice, And wait on your God continually.

******
Shalom! Day #247.  Do you know that a person cannot arise and shine once again without the help from God? Let's pray. Father, as we take time to wait upon You, we pray that You would help us to arise and shine once again. In Jesus name we ask and pray,  amen.

It's only by His everlasting Grace and mercy we are able to rise up again, be reconciled, repent and return to God. Help comes from the Lord when you take time to wait upon Him. There is a waiting time here. Wait upon the Lord and you shall be like the eagle flying high. You shall receive a new strength from God, Isaiah 40:31. The empowerment of God upon our lives as we wait upon Him, will enable us to run the race once again and not be tired or fall into deep pit again.

When you wait, don't just wait and do nothing, but as you wait allow the Holy Spirit of God to work in our lives and according to His timing, He shall unleash you, the one who is capable of mass destruction. You are build tough to infiltrate the devil's territory,  to plunder hell and populate heaven. So, yeah, once you fall it is not for a lifetime.  Unless you yourself choose to be in that kind of a condition, unhelped condition, self pity. You fall, you get up again! Without the help from God you cannot do anything. Without God we are nothing...!

All for love...!

Hosea 11:4 NKJV

I drew them with gentle cords, With bands of love, And I was to them as those who take the yoke from their neck. I stooped and fed them.

******
Shalom! Day #246. Do you know that the love of God towards us is unexplainable because there is no any word that's suitable to describe His love for us, for the world. Let's pray. Father, we want to thank You for Your great love where You didn't hesitate to sacrifice Your only begotten Son simply to save us from our sins. We thank You and bless Your name Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

It was for love, oh yes it is... It was for love that my Savior gave up His life on behalf of us. And to bring restoration and healing to humankind. All for love the Savior prayed,  Abba, Father come have Your way. If it wasn't for love, I don't think so that God would be interested in giving everyone a second chance to repent, return and be reconciled with God. He drew us with gentleness.  When you draw near, He will draw near to you. He doesn't force His way to us, but with gentleness He comes to us with full of love in His heart towards us.

The bible says is Matthew 11:28, 29 come to Me all you who are heavy laden...take My yoke upon and learn from Me... Here in this verse Jesus is saying, He took of the yoke from us. What yoke? The yoke of slavery. It was for freedom that Christ has set us free, no longer to be subject to the yoke of slavery. Let me paraphrase what He said. Well, if you are being entangled by the yoke of slavery,  come to Me and I will you rest, free you from the yoke of slavery from your neck and take upon My yoke which is the yoke of freedom, victory, love, hope, power and authority upon you. This is the paraphrased version. Well if you understand what John 3:16 says, then this whole verse and devotion for today can be summed up into John 3:16.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Sow the seeds of righteousness...!

Hosea 10:12 NKJV

Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it  is time to seek the Lord , Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.

******
Shalom!  Day #245. Do you know that when you sow the seeds of righteousness in your life, you will reap in the mercies of God? Let's pray.  Father, give us a new healthy ground, a new healthy heart that we may sow the seeds of righteousness on the healthy ground and reap in Your mercy. Rain down on us, for the rain of Your righteousness enables us to grow and produce much fruits. In Jesus name we ask and pray,  amen!

What kind of seed are we sowing today? It is written that, "What you sow is what you reap." If you sow righteousness, then God will bring about the harvest of righteousness in our lives. For the seed to be healthy, first we must open up, break up, plough the fallow ground then cultivate the ground. Then begin the seeding process. Righteousness is not of our own. Allowing God to justify us in His righteousness.  The harvest of righteousness is the result of the sowing of the righteous seed. We are made righteous in God. Therefore the righteousness we receive from God must be put into practice.  There is where we demonstrate the righteousness of God.

Then the harvest of righteousness is the rain of righteousness from God. The extraordinary latter rain from God. This happens when we begin to diligently seek the Lord. It is written that IT IS TIME to seek the Lord.... it means NOW! Enough of wasting our time in he worldly things get back to God, seek Him earnestly, diligently and wholeheartedly until He showers the rain of righteousness upon us.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Let us return to the Lord...!

Hosea 6:1-3 NKJV

Come, and let us return to the Lord ; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up. After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight. Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord . His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter and former rain to the earth.

Shalom! Day #244. Do you know that when we repent and return to the Lord wholeheartedly, though we was torn yet He would heal us and bind us up? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for our sins. We acknowledged that we have sinned against You, please forgive us and come and heal us today from every torns and brokenness. Let our sins be washed away, Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

This is a call for us. A call to repent and return to the Lord, for great is His grace and mercy towards us. Even the Lord torn you into pieces, He will never let you be torn forever but He will heal you if you want to be made whole again. Personal repentence follows with personal revival. Revival only happens when we repent and return wholeheartedly to God. Personally, for me, revival happens in my life when I repent. As I've said before, I'm not a righteous person. The reason I am able to stand, share, worship,  lead- it's not because of I'm righteous, no i never was a righteous man, yet because of His grace and mercy I am what I am today.

Why return to Him? Well so that we may live in His sight. As we live in Him, that we may pursue with all purpose to seek and understand the knowledge of God in our lives. So let us repent and return to God wholeheartedly because His grace and mercy endures forever.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
