Mustard seed faith... do you have?

Mark 11:22, 24 NKJV

So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.  Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

******
Shalom! Day #304. Do you know that if you have faith in God and willing to believe in God, then ask Him according to His will and that He shall give it to you? Let's pray.  Father, as we come to You today, help us to boldly bring our request to You and give us a believing heart to see by faith the things we have asked even if we haven't receive yet. Let it be according to Your will and Your timing. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

I believe that when you pray, you pray with faith and in faith. If you don't have faith well then you won't even pray at the first place. Yeah, well that's about it. Faith sees far more deeper than what our physical eyes can see. Many at times,  people get disappointed with God for not answering their prayers. The problem is, they aren't asking according to His will. We pray, God give me this boy or this girl as my life partner and when God doesn't answer, we get angry. Not only for life partner, but for everything about our lives, we must pray according to His will.

When you pray according to His will, and believe that you receive them,  and you will have them.  The keyword here is believe and receive. You pray, you believe and you receive. Apostle Paul said, "I believe therefore see." To everyone is given a mustard seed faith. To see the seed grow and becomes a tree we must nurture it, water it, prune it. We must use the faith we have in ordee to see it grow from a level to another level. The mustard seed faith, have it, do it! Amen!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Are you trusting in your riches...?

Mark 10:24-27 NKJV

And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, “Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God!  It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” And they were greatly astonished, saying among themselves, “Who then can be saved?” But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”

******
Shalom! Day #303. Do you know that people say that money can't buy happiness,  but can buy the things that makes us happy? Let's pray. Father, we know that riches will never give us security and salvation but, when our trust is in You alone guarantees our security and salvation. We thank You Lord that You have bought us at such a price that we cannot pay. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

People say that money can't buy happiness, but can buy the things that makes you happy. Well I agree to disagree this statement. It doesn't matter how wealthy and rich you are, you can't buy your salvation. You may have many security guards around you, but you cannot buy the security for your soul. It is foolishness for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God. It doesn't mean that rich people will not enter heaven and will not be saved, no. Everyone who trust in the Lord wholeheartedly,  be it poor, middle class, or rich people shall be saved. People always get this wrong. There is place in heaven for every tongue and tribe, every race, every human on earth if only they trust in the Lord wholeheartedly. Why did the Lord has to say, "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." Well normally rich people ( I'm not saying all, but there are some) they trust in their wealth and don't need God.

But again Jesus said, with men it is impossible, but not with God, for with God all things are possible. There is nothing to hard that God cannot crush and nothing to deep God cannot reveal. No matter how hard a rich man may be, God is still able to crush him and bring him to repentance same goes to everyone else. Not only in creating a miracle, but also to bring a person to repentance and to give him or her the knowledge of salvation. God is able. Today, are you praying for someone in your family to be saved, or even your spouse or your friends, do not falter! It may seem like your prayer is not penetrating the ceiling, but be encouraged because your prayers are being heard by God and according to His timing it shall be done wonderfully.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Deny yourself...!

Mark 8:34-36 NKJV

When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.  For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.  For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?

******
Shalom! Day #302. Do you know that it doesn't matter how much knowledge, wisdom, wealth of the world we gain will never profit a man if his or her soul has no Jesus in it? Let's pray. Father, we pray today that we may gain the knowledge of knowing You and the knowledge of Your salvation. Let not our soul perish without knowing You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Deny ourselves and take up the cross. As we follow the Lord, are we denying ourselves? Denying our selfish ambitions, denying our fleshy desires, denying our will and livingfor His will and purposes alone. Deny yourself and then carry the cross and follow Him. Are we willing to sacrifice all the wealth and riches, all the doctorates, the status we have and to take up the position of a servant and serve? Servanthood begins with a humble heart. If you are willing to sacrifice all you have in this world and live fully for Him, you will gain Him and everything He has for you. God is not impress with the amount of money you have until you can throw around. God is not impress with the piled up certificates that you have. God is not impress with the outward appearance.  God is not impress with you status. God is only impress with your heart, the attitude of your heart.

We may gain the whole world, but what profits to us of we lose our soul to the world? Even our body is perishable, but our soul live for eternity. Now the question is where will it go? To hell or to heaven? You have the choice. So are you willing to deny yourself and take up the cross and follow Jesus wholeheartedly?

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

From inside out...!

Mark 7:8-9, 13, 15, 21-23 NKJV

For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men  —the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do.” He said to them, “ All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition.  making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do.” There is nothing that enters a man from outside which can defile him; but the things which come out of him, those are the things that defile a man.  For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,  thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness.  All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”

******
Shalom! Day #301. Do you know that what goes into your body doesn't defiles you, but those that comes out from your heart that's defiles you? Let's pray. Father, once again we ask You Lord, to search out our hearts today, lest we be found with bad intentions and sinful hearts. Cleanse us from inside out. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Many of us thinks by upholding traditions and layings aside the commandments of God will make them look good, will make them to be more righteous and so on. They are willing to do anything for tradition sake and deny and reject the commandments of God. It makes them to think that they good in observing the traditions.  Most of us go to church also for tradition sake. Just for name sake going to church and to warm up the seats, but our hearts and minds are far far away. What we have become? In this verse Jesus is not only rebuking those Pharisees,  but also us. His word is still effective and at work! Not by observing your traditions that keeps you holy and blameless, but by whay comes out of you. The work of God in a believers life is from inside out, not out inside.  Jesus is interested with your heart, not you outward mask and traditions.

What defiles a man? It's not about what you take in but it's what comes out of us, our heart. Every bad intention, evil things comes from within a defile man. If our heart is polluted with the things of this world, polluted by every evil acts, nothing good can come out except only evil and that defiles a man. What's in your heart is matters the most, not what you take in. The bible says in Proverbs 4:23 Guard your heart.... you have to guard your heart from every bad influence, why? Because you heart is the centre of everything. From there springs life. Therefore stand on guard on what your heart intakes. Gbu!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

5 loaves and 2 fish...!

Mark 6:38, 41, 43, 52 NKJV

But He said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see.” And when they found out they said, “Five, and two fish.” And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among them all. And they took up twelve baskets full of fragments and of the fish. For they had not understood about the loaves, because their heart was hardened.

******
Shalom! Day #300. Do you know that miracles, personal revivals, restoration, renewal- happens when you are broken? Let's pray. Father, we come to You today. We give ourselves to be broken. Come and break us. Break our heart for what breaks Your, open up  our eyes to the things unseen. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

How many loaves do you have? Jesus is asking what do you have with you now? Bring it to God. Let Him break it. He took the five loaves and the two fish then He blessed and then He broke and gave them back to His disciples. When you surrender you lives totally to Jesus, He will take it, He will break it into pieces and then He will recreate a new you and give it back to you. Well the breaking process is not an easy process. You must persevere and endure it. We normally go to Jesus when our lives are in a total messed up condition. We messed up, He builds up. Total surrender + total brokenness equals to total victory in Christ Jesus.

From five loaves and two fish, at the end of the day the collected 12 baskets full of the bread and fish. Wow! When Jesus gives you life, oh hallelujah,  when Jesus recreates your life from the total brokenness and gives it back to you, well He does not just give you back as how you came to Him, but He gives you back in abundance.  John 10:10 says,  ... I have come to give you life and life more abundantly. Now that's the goodnews. But, there are still some who come to Him, and yet still do not want to be broken,  at the same time they want to see a miracle. How can it be? Come God,  and do not hardened your hearts.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Do not be afraid, only believe...!

Mark 5:35-36, 39-40 NKJV

While He was still speaking, some came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house who said, “Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?” As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only believe.”  When He came in, He said to them, “Why make this commotion and weep? The child is not dead, but sleeping.” And they ridiculed Him. But when He had put them all outside, He took the father and the mother of the child, and those who  were with Him, and entered where the child was lying.

******
Shalom! Day #299. Do you know that whenever a believer says or even declares a statement of faith, people who hears it will always ridicule them? Let's pray. Father, it doesn't matter wether people ridiculed our faith and beliefs. No matter how they ridicules,  it doesn't change the fact that Your word is still touch lives and transforming communities. Your power is still healing people who calls upon Your name and those who believes in You. We thank You for the privilege given to us to believe in You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Along your way believing in Jesus for a miracle, there will a bunch of people who will make fun of your faith and beliefs. You know no matter what they say, it's not going to change the fact that the Word of God is still actively impacting lives, touching lives, healing lives, restoring lives and blessing lives. It doesn't change a bit of the power of the Word of God, His words last for eternity!  In this verse we read today, it is written that "While He was still speaking, some came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house who said, Your daughter is dead." Wow, a new revelation! While Jesus is ministering to us, speaking to us, encouraging us, strengthening us to continue to trust in His words and in Him, and here comes the deceiver to deceive and plant the seeds of fear, discouragement, that eventually will shake our faith in Him. And again as soon as Jesus heard, note this point, JESUS HEARD what that person said, He continued to strengthen the faith of the ruler of the synagogue. To believe in Jesus is a simple thing, the hardest thing is to shut your ears to the lies and the schemes of the devil, because if you don't then the seed planted in you with crippled your faith to believe in Him. The devil may make such a scene to shake your faith, no matter what happens,  hold tight to His word! This ruler of the synagogue,  he held tight to His word.

But when He had put them all outside, He took the father and the mother of the child, and those who  were with Him, and entered where the child was lying.... Whenever I pray for someone,  the 1st question I will ask is, IS THERE ANYONE WITH AN UNBELIEVING HEART, PLEASE,  YOU CAN GO OUT. JESUS DOESN'T NEED YOUR UNBELIEVING HEART. In this verse, Jesus put all those who ridiculed, all those unbelieving people outside of the house and just brought in a few of those who are sincerely,  seriously, wholeheartedly wanting to see a miracle. We must remove every seed of unbelief, doubt, fear, from our hearts. Take it outside. When you believe wholeheartedly, then you shall see His glory!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Faith vs Fear...!

Mark 4:37-40 NKJV

And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How  is it that you have no faith?”

******
Shalom! Day #298. Do you know that in every situation of your life, Jesus is there together with you in the same boat? Let's pray. Father, help us not to be anxious and weary about  anything but in everything with prayer and supplication unto You be lifted up. Help us to see that You are with us in every events that happens in our life. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

And great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat,  so that it was already filling. In this whole passage of the scripture, there is a hidden truth. How keep calm and stay relaxed.  Are you walking in the windstorm today? Is the waves of life hitting you hard today and you are suffocating and drowning? Today, we are going to look at one secret that's in this verse. I believe, that everyone in one way or another have some boating experience.

A few things we are going to learn from this scripture today is :-

⊙ No matter how violent the windstorm is continue to stay in the boat and do not abandoned it. Why?
> As we walk this life, there will be violent windstorm and waves a.k.a problems, troubles, trials, tribulations, disappointments, etc. No matter how hurting it can be, you must not run away from it, but you must overpower it and walk through it because you are not alone in that boat, your life savior,  your life jacket,  our Lord Jesus Christ is with you in the same boat and He is mighty to save you!

⊙ But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. You know that Jesus was 100% human and God when He was on earth. Yet, in the midst of windstorm and waves, He was sleeping comfortably on a pillow. Now, there is something here that we must look into. What made Jesus to rest, relax and stay cool? Not because He is God that He knows He can do anything, no. The secret is, even though He went through such events in His life, there was an extraordinary peace in His heart. He slept comfortably on a pillow. The key point here is, are we having that extraordinary peace in our hearts as we face the giants as we walk this life? My peace I leave it with you.

⊙ Your peace may be provoked, but remain calm and stay cute :). Are you afraid to walk and face the giants? Even before the giants hit us, we are already trembling because of fear. Fear is the devil's tactic. He sows the seeds of fear into our hearts that we may began to shake, tremble or even to the point of running away from facing the giants. For example, the story of David versus goliath. In this verse, the disciples we afraid that they are going to die, and they awoke Jesus from His comfortable sleep and they said to Him “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” You do not care that WE are perishing. They were afraid until they said to Jesus that Jesus and the disciples will die in the storm. What a joke it is! This proves that till that point of their life they still don't really know who Jesus is and what He is capable of doing. Now the point here is HOW DEEP OR HOW WELL DO YOU KNOW JESUS? When you know your God, you will attempt greater exploits. If you have an intimate relationship with Jesus, you very well know that Jesus is able to create a miracle in the midst of critical.

⊙ And finally, “Why are you so fearful? How  is it that you have no faith?” People who profess to know God, but in action they fail. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. The amount of faith you have in God must be able to fight against the fear the devil is putting in you. Your faith fights against the fear! Not fear overpowers your faith.

Always remember God's promise HE WILL NEVER LEAVE US NOR FORSAKE US. No matter what kind of situation you are going through now, continue to stand firm and continue believe in Jesus for a miracle,  for He is able! Faith against fear!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Be the new wine and new wine skin...

Mark 2:21-22 NKJV

No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; or else the new piece pulls away from the old, and the tear is made worse.  And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins.”

******
Shalom! Day #297. Do you know that we are new creations in Christ Jesus and that our old self must be put to death? Let's pray. Father, we thank You for this brand new life that You have given to us. Allow us to come before You today to be refilled, refreshed and renewed. Help us to continually to put to death our old self, our sinful nature at the cross. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

We cannot pour new wine into an old wine skin and old wine into a new wine skin. Jesus is trying to explain that, we that's been saved by His grace are to put on our new self and live according to His ways. The old self is totally in war with our new self, therefore they cannot be together.  Either you remain as old, or be a new creation. We have to die to ourselves that we may gain Christ,  the more we gain of Christ the more we will see the fullness of His life in us. Whatever things that we have gained before we knew Jesus,  is all rubbish compared to what God has prepared for us when we die to ourselves and become the new creation in Christ Jesus. Paul acknowledges this in Philippians 3:7-11 NKJV But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. The process of learning to die to ourselves in every area of our lives is a challenging, but if you allow God to create us anew then you don't have to struggle.

We must put on our new self into the newly created being for a life that's filled with a new purpose, plans, vision, mission and passion.  In  Colossians 3:10 NKJV and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, and in Ephesians 4:24 NKJV and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. A newly created being, is restored and renewed in knowledge according to the image of God.  A newly created being is restored into true righteousness and holiness according to God. When we have put on the new man, there is no room for the old man. No matter how your life was in the past, it is not going to create a better future for us unless and until we crucify our old self and be created anew in Jesus because in Him there is life, abundant life and a hope and bright future. We are the wine skin and Jesus pours Himself into us. He cannot pour Himself into us unless and until we repent. When we repent Jesus creates a new wine skin and then He pours Himself into us.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

For this purpose I have come forth...!

Mark 1:35-38 NKJV

Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed. And Simon and those who  were with Him searched for Him. When they found Him, they said to Him, “Everyone is looking for You.” But He said to them, “Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also, because for this purpose I have come forth.”

******
Shalom! Day #296. Do you know that when you pray, God begins to reveal His plans and purposes for your life? Let's pray.  Father, as we seek You today,  make known to us the plans and purposes You have for us today. Help us to fulfil Your purpose in our lives. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Every believers and servants of God must have a quite time with God everyday. Start your day with prayer and you will see the Hand od God is upon your life for that day. You will witness manythings. What is the 1st thing you each morning? Wake up and look for your coffee or newspaper or watch news on tv? In this verse we can see clearly the seriousness of Jesus handling and doing the task or the will of God. He take it seriously concerning the purpose and the will that God has entrusted to Him. He arose early morning, before the sun rises, and begin to seek God for the things which He has to do for that day and also being refilled and refreshed, and empowered by God. You have to remember this, that Jesus was 100% human on earth and He relied totally upon the Father for everything. It is written,  He said, I can't do anything without My Father. When you take time to seek God early in the morning, it will be a good start for you because you are starting your day with God.

Be clear with what you have to do. Jesus was very clear with what He has to do. When His disciples were looking for Him, He said to them “Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also, because for this purpose I have come forth.” Wow! His mission is clear, His vision is focused to one purpose and His passion it to win the lost. Do you know what's your purpose? Do have a vision to live? What's your driving passion? What is your mission statement for life? When you pray every morning,  not only God gives you what you need to do but as well as being empowered,  refreshed, refilled and strengthen for everything that He has for you to do. Every morning prayer is a time for refocusing to your vision, to remember what's your mission and to renew your passion and to execute His will and purposes for your life and to be a channel of blessing to others. Do not miss your morning devotion.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Why have you forsaken Me....?

Matthew 27:46 NKJV

And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”

******
Shalom! Day #295. Do know what is the feeling of being forsaken by the one who you trust, love? Let's pray. Father, we know that it is sin that separates a man from You. Therefore Father,  bring us back to You in reconciliation and never leave us. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Oh that feeling you get when you are forsaken by your friends, when you are isolated by the one you love, family and friends is a really heartbreaking, painful situation. Father God had to literally abandoned Jesus at the cross. Jesus was left alone, yet despite being left and forsaken by God, His focus and the determination and His purpose did not change. In this verse, Jesus cried out with a loud voice,  saying My God,  My God, why have You forsaken Me? Jesus cried out with a loud voice. Note that point. It means, it was such a painful, anguish filled moment for Jesus when God abandon Him. The pain of separation Jesus had to bore. Not only physically He was tortured, but emotionally as well. The movie The Passion of Christ is just a little glimpse of what Jesus actually went through. It was far more gruesome than what we have watched. At the cross bearing all our sins, He was willing to be separated with God for that one moment just to bring redemption and salvation to us. He thought of you and me at the cross!

In this modernized age, people are so easily can live without God in the story of their lives. They think it's my life, it's my storyline and I'm the director, but they forget that God is the Creator  of their storyline. The amount of anguish and pain Jesus felt when God abandoned Him, nowadays people don't feel it that way. For them, there is no importance of getting closer to God or even reaching out to God. They are just addicted to everything the world has to offer. A man without God in his or her life is like an empty tin tryin to make some sound. Jesus demonstrated the pain, the anguish He felt when God the Father abandoned Him at the cross, not because He wants to, but He has to because God is Holy, and Jesus was bearing all of our sins upon His shoulder at the cross. Holiness cannot be mixed with sins. What God felt when He has to abandon His only Son at the cross, hanging there in  helpless condition with blood flowing out of His body? God would have felt the same as Jesus felt. It is the same now, I don't know how do you feel if you are forsaken by God, but when we forsake God,  He feels that deep pain. Folks, come back to your first love and never ever be separated from the love of God! His promises to is that He will never leave us nor forsakes us! Abide in Him and He in you.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The perfect betrayal...!

Matthew 26:21, 38-39, 41-42, 45, 48-50 NKJV

Now as they were eating, He said, “Assuredly, I say to you, one of you will betray Me.” Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.” He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will. ” Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done.”  Then He came to His disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners.  Now His betrayer had given them a sign, saying, “Whomever I kiss, He is the One; seize Him.” Immediately he went up to Jesus and said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” and kissed Him. But Jesus said to him, “Friend, why have you come?” Then they came and laid hands on Jesus and took Him.

******
Shalom! Day #294. Do you know that in one way or another we have betrayed the Lord Jesus Christ? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for betraying for the perishable things of this world. Lord, thank You for reminding us once again through Your word today that our flesh is indeed weak, but our spirit is willing. Help us to yield to Your Spirit more and more. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

I'll start by asking you one question and I don't expect you to reply. Well, have you ever been betrayed by that one person whom you trust, love, respect, the one you look up to, or even your BFF? Everyone in one way or another have been betrayed and also had betrayed one another. Oh that feeling of being betrayed....! What kind of feelings did Jesus had when He knows that He's going to be betrayed by the one who sat together with Him at the table and eat? It took Him a lot of courage to handle His emotions. His heart was exceedingly sorrowful even to death! Oh that perfect betrayal! In one way or another we have become Judas Iscariot along the way in our beliefs and in our faith towards Jesus. Oh yes! Don't give me that innocent looks. We have betrayed Jesus for the wealth of this world. We have betrayed Jesus for love which is not in same faith. Yes, people are willing to sell Jesus for the love they have in another people from different faith! Jesus said, "do not be equally yoked with an unbeliever." We have betrayed Jesus by not trusting upon His word. We've become Judas Iscariot! Betrayed Jesus for 30 shekels of silver coins :( . We betrayed Him with a kiss. All the sweet words we have spoken to Jesus, just remained a word. We said Lord, I want to live for You alone, to do Your will, and so on, yet it remained as mere words. At the end of the day, we live for ourselves. We did what we willed. Sealed a betrayal with the sweetest kiss.

Do you know what Jesus felt every time we betray Him? His soul is exceedingly sorrowful,  even unto death! The feeling we get when you know someone has betrayed you, wow.. I'm pretty sure that you feel like want to whack that person, or hurt them back. Yet, Jesus said, let Your will be done. He willingly accepted the will of Father upon Himself. Jesus's reaction was different. Even though He knows we would eventually betray Him, He still calls us FRIEND! He knows Judas Iscariot is going to betray Him, yet He asked Judas Iscariot,  "friend,  why have you come?" Peter, denied Jesus 3 times, but at the end of the day, he repented for denying Jesus. Even at the point of beig betrayed, Jesus still calls us friend, now that's what I call LOVE. While you still have a chance, repent and be saved. Let not His redemption works on the cross be meaningless to us. Do not betray Him, for He has a wonderful plan and purpose filled with hope and bright future for you and me.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Are you ready...?

Matthew 24:13-14, 25, 35, 44 NKJV

But he who endures to the end shall be saved.  And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. See, I have told you beforehand. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

******
Shalom! Day #293. Do you know that the end of the world and the second coming of Jesus, is when the gospel is preached to every corner of this world? Let's pray. Father, let us not be sober and lazy in doing Your works. Let's our spirit continue to burn for You. Let us be ready for Your second coming. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Many things that's been prophesied in the bible is happening around us. The end is near, are you ready? The key point here is, Jesus said BUT THOSE WHO ENDURES TO THE END SHALL BE SAVED. Are you enduring, persevering, running the race? Ready or not, Jesus is coming soon. But as we read here, the second coming is confirmed when the gospel is preached to the whole world. Are we even taking the initiative to share the gospel to everybody? The will of God is that none shall perish.

But My words, says the Lord... His words by no means none shall pass away but accomplish every purpose it has been sent for. His words for you and me shall not fail. His words for this world shall not fail. By all means everything that's been predicted in the bible, every prophesies shall come to pass and most of it is already happening now. Again the question is are you ready to endure all of it? In the book of revelation,  Jesus said, but those who stand strong till the end shall receive the victors crown. And in this verse God says, but those who endures shall be saved. Jesus can come anytime, He will come at the time that you less expected. Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus. And live according to His will. Now is not the time to play play with God as well as the salvation we have received from God. Now is not the time to fool around. Not the time to be lazy! It is the time for each one of us to gird up and run the race, bringing the gosple to everyone. Now it's time for us to be diligent in the works of God! Are you ready?

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The difference between religious Christian and believer Christian....

Matthew 23:25-28 NKJV

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence.  Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness.  Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

******
Shalom! Day #292. Do you know that there is difference between religious Christian and believer Christian? Let's pray. Father, search our heart's this day and lest we be found to be a hypocrite. Father,  we do not want to just please You outwardly, but from inside out for You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Being a believer, we must not be like the Pharisees and scribes.. Jesus harshly rebukes those groups of people. They tend to be neat and tidy outwardly but inwardly there is piles of rubbish in them. As I said,  there are two group of Christians. The religious Christian and the believer Christian. The religious Christian,  they tend to abide to all rules and regulations set by man, precepts upon precepts  they follow, every traditional things they do, outwardly they seems to be doing so very good. They go to church on Sunday's,  yet in the evening they have drinking party. They do everything just to make sure they are clean outwardly yet inwardly they fail to take care of the cleanliness of their heart, the temple of the Holy Spirit.

If the outside of the cup is dirty it's ok, but see first the inside of the cup before you pour in anything to drink. Look into our inward being are we being so religious tied up to all rules and regulations of man, instead of trying to please God,  we are pleasing man! Religious Christian is divided into 3 main groups, christian for name sake, religious Christian and generational Christian. Whereas believer Christian is only one, the born again Christian. Yet in the born again Christian there are still some tied to superstitious traditional ways. The teachings of Jesus is simple. He is only asking us to imitate what He has done and live according to it, be it in personal life or as well as in ministry and market place. He said we would do great and mighty things through Him and in Him name. Stop being a hypocrite and live your life honestly and with all truthfulness before God and man.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

If you have faith....do you?

Matthew 21:21-22 NKJV

So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.  And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

******
Shalom!  Day #291. Do you know that your faith in God can create an extraordinary miracle for you? Let's pray. Father, give us an unshakeable, immovable, steadfast faith so that we may not be shaken and will not be affected by the things happening around us but we will move every mountain's and obstacles along our pathways. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

If you have faith and do not doubt... oh yes the Lord knows wether you have faith or not and are doubting your faith or not. If you have faith then why do you afraid of stepping into new horizons,  new challenge,  new chapter of your life? If you have faith, then why are you still living in your past? Because you are not sure of what your future holds for you because lack of faith. If you have faith, not only the mountain's you will remove but you will be able to control the mountain's as well.

You should believe what you ask in your prayer, but not all prayers is answered because if it is not inline with His will, so it shall not be answered. Each one of us has a different level of faith maturity. But to everyone is given the faith as a mustard seed. How big it grows it's depends on how frequently we put our faith into practice. So you have faith, but no action then how man? You actions must follow with the faith that you have to believe in God for an extraordinary miracles! So practice your faith and let it not be dead!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The last shall be the first...!

Matthew 20:16, 26-28 NKJV

So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen.” Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant.  And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave—  just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

******
Shalom! Day #290. Do you know that Jesus is still serving us? Let's pray.  Father,  we pray that today You would create a servanthood heart in us. Lord, we are privileged to be the chosen ones, therefore help us to serve You like Jesus did, a humble servant. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The last will be first, and the last is the chosen ones. Jesus was lifted up and given the Name above all names, because He came as a servant to serve and to give His very best in serving,  His life. He is still serving us by meeting all of our needs. He is still interceding for us. If your want to be great in the kingdom of God then start from where you are now. Start serving one another. Elisha, was not made a prophet on the spot. God called him first to be Elijahs servant, to serve him. He diligently served Elijah. Jesus came to serve and not to be served. He choose us to serve others and we are to worship the Lord our God with all our hearts.

In today's christianity, everyone wants to have a title and a position in the church, to be well known by the church members or otherwise they will not serve. People are running after a positions and titles in the church. Jesus didn't make His name great, but the fruits He bore in serving others spoke of His miraculous and wonderous works. It's not about having an extravagant position or title that makes a person to be a servant, but it's about how sincere, serious, diligent and all out about doing the things the Lord has entrusted to us. Be faithful in the little things,  and God knows how to expand and enlarge the things that He has given to us.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Do you know what is the will of God for your life...?

Matthew 18:11, 14 NKJV

For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost. Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.

******
Shalom! Day #289. Do you know that the fact is not many believers understands the will of God for their lives? Let's pray. Father, as we draw close to You, we pray that You will make known to us Your will and purposes for us as You did for Jesus. Help us  to understand and do Your will. In the name of Jesus we ask and pray, amen!

The will of God is what Jesus did, which is that none shall perish. Jesus carried the will of God in His heart, in His ministry in everything He did. He delivered the will of God and He demonstrated the will of God. The one and only purpose Jesus came to world is to search and rescue the lost. There is a verse in the bible where Jesus said, "My food is to do the will of My Father." The will of God is that none shall perish. And  He went about searching and rescuing the lost. Do you carry the will of God in your life? He came as a Servant, to serve and not to be served. Yet in all His splendour, He choose to save the lost, rescue the lost and serve the lost. Jesus recognizes His calling at very young age.

Many of us, we know God has called us yet, we give accuses not to heed the calling. God has placed in everyone's heart His will for their lives. Most believers don't understand what God has willed and what God has planned for them. There is a great need for every believers to understand and demonstrate the will of God in this age. The only way to know, feel and understand the heartbeat of God is when you take your relationship with God seriously. Taking your calling seriously. Are you growing in the Lord? What measures are you taking in demonstrating the will of God? The Lord's will for us is as the same for Jesus. It is a call for every believer to search and rescue the lost. It wasn't meant for Jesus only but for all of us as well. Jesus came to demonstrate it. And He did it way out of human understanding,  He gave His life for the ransom of our sins. He paid the price! No, don't get me wrong. I'm not asking you to be crucified. So, what about you today? Have you understood your calling?

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Who do you say Jesus is...?

Matthew 16:15-16 NKJV

He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

******
Day #288. Do you know that many amongst the believers still not able to answer who Jesus is to them personally? Let's pray. Father, give us a fresh revelation of who You are in our lives today, lest we are not found not able to answer or even witness to people when being asked. In Jesus name we ask and pray,  amen!

But who do you say that I am? If Jesus ask you this question today, what is your answer? Many amongst the believers aren't able to answer it even after being a Christian for ages. Peter was able to answer it because the Holy Spirit reveals the truth to him. Many are unaware of this spiritual truth of who Jesus is. For me, Jesus is my Lord and Savior. He is my God. He is my Jesus my Healer,  my Teacher, my best Friend, my King. I can keep going on and on and on of telling who Jesus is. He is more than all I need.

People nowadays are fighting with one another just to say that this is my "gods" title and so on. Let me tell you something, by doing that, it's not going to guarantee you a place in heaven. You can go and rot in hell with that title. Religion and traditional believes is not going to give you a place in heaven. Only Jesus, THE ONE TRUE LIVING GOD! And you very well know who will judge the world at the judgement day! Sometimes I don't get it and I don't see any point here. Why are they upholding a name of an unknown god. Exactly just like Jesus mention in John 4:22 NKJV You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. People who don't know who Jesus is, is like a dead body walking. There is life but no spirit. So again my question is simple,  who do you say Jesus is? Is He just another prophet as per claimed by some bunch of people or Jesus is more than that? You answer it yourself. How? Well how's your relationship with Him? The more closer and intimate you are with God, the deeper you will understand and know who Jesus is. Build your relationship with God. Every events of your life will indeed bring you closer to God and you will know who Jesus is in that situation of your life.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Are you willing to deny the teachings of Jesus just to please your traditions...!

Matthew 15:3, 8-9 NKJV

He answered and said to them, “Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition?  ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with  their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching  as  doctrines the commandments of men.’  ”

******
Shalom! Day #287. Do you know that people to tied to traditions and merely worshipping God with their mouth and lips? Let's pray. Father, let us not uphold and continue in our traditions of our forefathers. Lord we pray that You will break the ties of traditions that's been set by our forefathers in following You. Come and free us from the slavery and bondage of traditions. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

There still a group of believers who strongly upholding the traditions of their forefathers. They are traditional Christians. By mouth they profess to know God, but by their actions they deny Him. Just for name sake going to church,  yet they are still living and swimming in the sea of sin. Being a traditional Christians are the ones who just go to church on Sunday's just to warm the seats. Here Jesus is strongly rebuking all those tied to tradition. People are adding traditions to the teachings of Jesus nowadays. For example, you must put garlands and so on to please God and bla bla... What kind of a wrong teaching is this?

That's why, they think by doing all this can please God and so on. Yet they fail. They only prefer to give lips service. One hand lifted up in worshiping God, the other hand checking the phone. Honor Him with lips, but their hearts is in a far far away kingdom. Teaching and preaching the word according to the ways and traditions set by men! Jesus is not bound by your traditions, your laws and your ways! It's a sin if we twist and turn the word of God to suit our ways and traditions! Come on people, either you live by His word and stop the lips service that you offer, or die in your traditions! Please remeber this, religion and traditions is not going to save you , it neither guarantees a safe place in heaven for you! Only Jesus can save you and give you the assurance of salvation and a place in heaven for you!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

So He said...COME...!

Matthew 14:29-31 NKJV

So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”

******
Shalom! Day #286. Do you know that when your eyes are totally focused upon Jesus, you will never sink when you walk on the surface of problems, difficult situations, trials and testing? Let's pray. Father, give us a faith that will enable us to walk on the surface of problem, difficult situations, trials and testing, to walk upon the sea of every odds and limitations and not to sink and be suffocated by it. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

And Jesus said COME! Are we going to Him with a heart that's filled with an unshakeable faith? Are we diverting all of our focus to Jesus alone as we walk towards Him? Peter did, but then, we he diverts his focus to the waves and the storm, he began to sink. Peter requested to walk on the water to reach Jesus, but then he did not reach Jesus and sink, because he began to lose focus. The woman with the blood issue, she kept her eyes upon Jesus and wherever He moves she follows and reached Jesus and received her healing. We fall when our focus is not upon Jesus. We sink and suffocate when our focus is not upon Jesus.

Oh you of little faith, why did you doubt? Before Jesus rebuked Peter, He saved him for sinking. Jesus will never leave you nor forsake you. He will never let you walk alone in the midst of every waves and storms. But the only thing He ask of us is to trust in Him totally with all your heart! Are we diverting all of our focus to Jesus? Lest He come and cannot find a person that filled with faith!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The mysteries of the Kingdom...!

Matthew 13:11-12 NKJV

He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.  For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.

******
Shalom! Day #285. Do you know that the mysterious mystery of the kingdom of heaven is revealed to those who earnestly seek Him? Let's pray. Father, as we call upon You, amd seek You earnestly, make known to us the mysterious mystery of the kingdom of heaven and let it be established in our hearts. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

God said in Jeremiah 33:3 NKJV ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ There is a lot of mystery surrounding us, even the creation of this whole universe and the humankind is the biggest mystery ever known. Great and mighty things are the secret that's been with God to this day. And it is only revealed to those who seek Him, call upon Him, love Him, live for Him and serve Him wholeheartedly. The biggest question for every individual as a believer is this WHAT IS THE PURPOSE I AM HERE? The answer is very simple. Call upon the Lord, and He shall show you what is the purpose of your life.

For whoever has, to him will be given more. Have what? From what I understand, it might be the wisdom, knowledge and understanding of the kingdom of God. When you download information from the Him, you apply it and grow by it for all those informations are the ingredients for your living. The more you avail yourself for God to teach you, the more deeper you grow in Him and the more knowledge you get from Him.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The good and the bad tree...!

Matthew 12:33-37 NKJV

“Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit.  Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.  A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.  But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.  For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

******
Shalom! Day #284. Do you know that your words has the power either to release life to you or bring judgement and condemnation to you? Let's pray. Father, we do not want to pretend to be a good tree, but help us daily to be a tree that produces good fruits for the glory of Your name. In every ways of our life let our conduct be right before You, in speech and in attitude as well as character. In Jesus name we ask and we pray, amen!

Good trees can only produce good fruits. An orange tree cannot produce an apple or vice-versa. We must really be careful with those who preach and teach. You know their lifestyle may be vary from the way they preach or serve. Their lifestyle may be a Lifestyle that's full and filled with nonsense, but they preach a power pack message yet there is emptiness in the preaching. Wolf in sheep's clothing. Beware of the doctrines they bring.

Now the second thing is be careful with what you speak and do. Your words can be used against you in judgement. I've watch a few police movies, whenever they caught the criminal the police will always say this "you have rights to remain silent and anything you say will be used against you." This is true. It's biblical. We have to be watchful with the words we speak. Once you throw out the word, it's irrevocable. Even in your own personal life, how do you speak into every situations of your life? The bible says death and life is at your tongue and no man can tame it. People always say this, "think positively and speak positively." Well it is true as well. The difference is they use worldly wisdoms to speak right but we know truth of His Living word, we must confess His word into every situations of our life. A good tree, produces good fruits, both in speech and action as well as character and attitude. Bad tree may act like producing good fruit, but in the end of the day their camouflage will be exposed. So be watchful in your attitude, speech, actions and character because people are watching your every step.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

And He gave them power...!

Matthew 10:1, 8 NKJV

And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

******
Shalom! Day #283. Do you know that God has entrusted to you and me the power over unclean spirits, to cast them out and to heal all kinds of sickness and disease? Let's pray. Father, we acknowledged the power that You have entrusted to us. Give us the courage and boldness to believe in You as we use the power that You have given to us to do You work. To heal, to cast out. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

If we acknowledge ourselves that we are the disciples of Christ, then we must realize that there is a greater power in us which God has given to us freely and we must make use of it in order to see its power. He gave us power. We are blinded by the devil tricks until we aren't able to see the living power in us. The bible says, greater is He who is in us than he that's in the world. We seldom remember this truth. Many of us, when in time of prayer for the sick or even to cast out demons, we would be like a hunter, hunting for pastors, church leaders and so on to come and pray or even to cast out demons. The power was given to every believers when the Holy Spirit came upon us, not just to certain people, but to every believers.  You have the power with you. Be bold to use it.

There is no any surcharge or hidden charges for this power. Freely you have received it from God and freely you give it to people. Jesus did not ask the people to pay for the healings and miracles He has done. The power which the Lord has given to us is the Power of His name and the power of the Holy Spirit. Use it wisely and not vainly. When you pray for people, lay your hands on them and pray in the name of Jesus. And you shall see something takes place. You can practice it for yourself. Lay your hands and pray for yourself. Again... don't be fooled and blinded by the devil's lies until you aren't able to see His power that's in you.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Pushing through all odds and limitations...!

Matthew 9:21-22 NKJV

For she said to herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.” But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour.

******
Shalom! Day #282. Do you know that miracle happens when you are totally focused on Jesus? Let's pray. Father, help us to continually be focused in You. Let us not divert our focused to another. For we know that salvation id only in one name. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

If only I may touch His garment. You know, to touch His garment was her main focus, yes of course reaching Jesus was her ultimate goal. She kept her eyes on Jesus,  and reached His garment and touch His garment and received her healing. In the midst of the crowd, she pushed herself against all odds and limitations to reach out to Jesus just to touch His garment and to receive her healing. She has a determined heart and spirit. The crowds was her challenge, her obstacles. She penetrated through all the obstacles just to reach Jesus. Her tenacious spirit made Jesus to stop, turned around and looked at her and said that she is already healed.... wow! Simply amazing!

Let us have a determined spirit like this woman. She did not focused on her pain, but divert all of her focus to Jesus alone. And as she did that , she received her healing. I don't know what kind of a situation you are going through today, but one thing I do know is, when you put all your focus upon Jesus with a determined heart and spirit, then you shall receive the miracle.  Persevere until a miracle is created!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

That one word...!

Matthew 8:7-8, 10 NKJV

And Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!

******
Shalom! Day #281. Do you know that His one word carries much weight of authority and power to bring healing and to cast out demons? Let's pray. Father,  release that one word from Your mouth that is able to create a miracle in our critical moment. Lord, we desperately need a touch from You now. Let Your word brings forth life, healing,  revival! In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

How many of you are desperately need a touch of healing and restoration either for you, your family or your friends? This centurion, he has a faith that made Jesus marvelled. He ask just for that one word...oh yes that one word! Lord Jesus, we need that one word today so that our families, friends and even ourselves will be healed and restored. Release that one word Lord! That one word is enough to revive the dead, the heal the sick, to restore and to bring life. Even after Jesus offered Himself to come and heal the centurions servant, yet with a bold faith he said, just speak a word. And as he was on his way back, his servant was healed!

Today many of us always say this " We can only pray.... the rest is up to God...." You think so? I don't think so.... a prayer that's pushing through all odds an limit can move God's hand to create a miracle in condition critical! Let god be marvelled at your faith...! Persevere in prayer until you see a miracle is created! Have a faith like the centurion.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Stand strong, stand firm, have faith...!

Matthew 7:24-27 NKJV

“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:  and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:  and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

******
Shalom!  Day #280. Do you know that architects or builders does not build houses on the sand and expect it to be strong? Let's pray. Father, You are strong foundation, our Rock of salvation that cannot be moved, our strong concrete basement and on You we build our hope, trust and faith because of You marvelous works. We thank You for being our hope and our trust. Help us to build ourselves on You continually. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

On what platform are we building ourselves today? There is two kinds of platform. Rock basement and sandy basement. On what we are building or even trying to build on today? Jesus said to Simon called Peter, ON THIS ROCK I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH AND THE GATES OF HELL SHALL NOT PREVAIL! On this rock, it means upon Jesus Himself, the church will be build. Not physically, but spiritually. Jesus must be the basis of our Christian faith. Jesus must be the foundation of our teaching, preaching, serving and ministering. When you build yourself on Jesus, our Rock of salvation, your faith will grow deeper and stronger. No matter how violent the tsunamis can be, if you are rooted and build on Jesus , our firm foundation,  you will never be shaken! Your faith, your hope, your trust, and your life is safe and secured in Him. Be steadfast and immovable in Him! Stand strong,  stand firm, have faith!

But those who build on the sand is like building a skyscraper without proper piling and no strong basement. The building may seems to be strong, but the basement is weak. When trials and testings comes, when he or she go through lives difficulties, when tsunami hits them they began to falter, doubt, faithless, hopeless. They aren't strong to fight it. They aren't strong to face it. They aren't courageous to face the giants of their lives. Because their basement begin to shake and collapse. They are not strong in faith. What about you today? Which kind of a builder are you? You have make the decision for yourself and it's not too late to trust on Jesus,  even NOW HE CAN CREATE A MIRACLE FOR YOU...IF ONLY YOU BEGIN TO BUILD YOUR FAITH IN HIM!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Where is your heart...!

Matthew 6:21, 32-33 NKJV

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.  But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

******
Shalom! Day #279. Do you know that we are so keen in seeking to be rich but we forget and neglect to seek the God who owns the riches of this universe? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for seeking and running after the riches of this world and we neglect in seeking Your kingdom and Your truths. Give us a heart that would hunger and thirst after You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Where is our heart today? Where is your treasure?  People are getting insecured because of their treasures. Have you placed your treasure within God's heart? If you did, then your heart should be in His heart or else otherwise. People are getting richer and richer, but the effort taken in seeking His kingdom and His righteousness is extremely little. Their treasure is in the world. Their heart is at searching for money. I'm not saying searching for money and getting rich is wrong. Indeed God's desire is for us to be blessed but not until we neglect in seeking Him. Many suchlike even on Sundays don't even bothered to come to church because busy looking for money.

Seek first the kingdom of God, folks! You want to prosper and have an abundant life, then seek His kingdom and His righteousness first! The every other things that you need shall be added unto you. Because of you, your generation will be blessed as well because you made the right choice in seeking Him first.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Spirit led life...!

Matthew 4:1 NKJV

Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.

******
Shalom!  Day #278. Do you know the importance of living a Spirit led life? Let's pray. Father, we want to be sensitive to Your Spirit. Holy Spirit lead our lives. We submit to Your ways, Your will and to Your authority. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit. Are we living a Spirit led life? Are we yielding ourselves to His Spirit today? Living a Spirit led life doesn't mean that we will not be tempted. The point is how we overcome those temptations as we live a Spirit led living. A Spirit led living doesn't promise a land with milk and honey, but a living through the wilderness. Jesus was led into the wilderness, but that is not a permanent surrounding. After He was tempted, He came out of the wilderness. Every believer who being led by the Spirit will go through a time of wilderness where you will be tempted and God sees how you overcome it.

The only way known to me is, whenever I am going through a time of wilderness and temptations, I overcome it by the Living Word of God. The method is simple, but to apply it in every situation, we always forget. Jesus overcame the time of wilderness and temptations by the Word of God. You will come out of it victoriously. Every time of wilderness and temptations is a time to stand strong, faith to grow, to be empowered, to be refill and refresh. Why is it important? When you are being led by the Spirit, you are sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit. When you are being led by the Spirit, you are in tune to the move of God. So are you living a Spirit led life?

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Is your repentance producing its fruits...?

Matthew 3:8, 10-11 NKJV

Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

******
Shalom! Day #277. Do you know that a repented heart produces fruits that speaks of his or her repentance? Let's pray. Father, we do not want to going back to our vomit. But as we repent wholeheartedly, let our repentance produces fruits that speak about Your great and mighty works in our lives. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Our repentance must produce the fruits of repentance. Repentance must be from heart with all of heart. Repentance is not something we forced on a people. It must be done wholeheartedly. Nowadays, people seems to be les bothered of repentance. I have not sinned, so why should I repent? Are you familiar with this phrase? Repentance means a total turn over from sin, wicked ways wholeheartedly and never to return. If we repent and does not bear fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. No point repenting and keep sinning again and again.

Now what are the fruits of repentance?

1. True confession - psalms 32:5, 1 john 1:19
2. True faith - Matthew 21:31-32
3. Humility - James 4:20, 2 chronicles 7:14
4. Sincere prayer - Acts 8:20-23
5. True conversion - Acts 3:19
6. Self-abhorrence and brokenness - Job 42:6, psalms 52:17
7. True conviction of sin - john 8:45-47, proverbs 28:13

When you repent, and invite Him into your heart then He shall come and baptized you with Holy Spirit and fire. Water baptism is unto repentance,  but the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire is to equip you  into His calling and purposes and His will. Repentance must produce it's fruit. When Jesus is in you, your life will never be the same again...! Never repent to repeat the same sin again! It's like a dog going back to its vomit.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

For that which conceived in you is of the Holy Spirit...!

Matthew 1:20-21 NKJV

But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus , for He will save His people from their sins.”

******
Shalom! Day #276. Do you know that when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will not just be filled with power of the Holy Spirit, but the Holy Spirit conceive things in your spiritual womb and it gives birth to natural realm? Let's pray. Father, as Mary said "be it unto me," therefore Father, be it unto us according to Your promises and to Your plans for us. Holy Spirit come upon us and conceive the plans and purposes of God in our spiritual womb. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

For that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. Are you ready to live a supernatural living? In Acts 1:8 it says that you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon us, but there is more than just power. When the Holy Spirit comes upon us,  He is also able to conceive the plans and purposes of God in our spiritual womb. Just like the normal pregnancy process,  it takes time for the embryo to be in shape, 9 till 10 months a normal pregnancy process. It is the same, when the Holy Spirit begins to conceive in us the plans, purposes and the will of God, it takes time to be birth into the natural realm. Today, what did the Holy Spirit has conceived in us, it shall come to reality. Just believe! Though it takes time, it will surely and confirmly come to past! The Holy Spirit conceived in us the promises of God, the plans and purposes of God, the will of God in our lives.

Jesus, His birth was foretold, yet did not come to past during the days of the prophets. But God sowed the seed of the birth of Jesus, the Messiah into the hearts of the people, the prophets. And Mary was chosen to be the vessel that's going to give birth to Jesus. The Lord needs a vessel in order for the Holy Spirit of God to conceive the things of God! We are the vessels. It may not happen in one day, it takes time to be born into natural realm. Avail yourselves to the Holy Spirit,  so that He can conceive the things of God in our lives and seeing it birth into existence!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Thou shall fear and honor your God...!

Malachi 4:2 NKJV

But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves.

******
Shalom! Day #275. Do you know that God will shine His righteousness and bring healing to those who revere and honors God? Let's pray. Father, give us a heart that's wholly after You and for You. Give us a heart and an attitude that honors You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Do you fear God? This fear of God is not the same when you see a ghost. This fear is about respect, honoring, reverence, adoration towards God. When you respect God, automatically your trust is built. But how come? Simple logic, when you respect your physical father, it means you are putting your trust and hope in him knowing that he is there whenever you need him either for advice, finance, encouragement or otherwise. The same is implied in the respect, honor, reverence and in adoration towards God. God shall arise upon you His righteousness with healing in His wings. When you learn to honor God, He will honor you back. When you learn how to honor God and when you do it, He knows how to bless, heal, restore, revive, do miracles for you.

Wow, listen people...you shall grow fat! Hahaha... it means when you honor God, live a godly life, live a God fearing life, then you shall see His amazing love and care towards you. You will be well taken cared of. You will prosper in everything! Live a life that honors and fears God.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

You are cursed with a curse...!

Malachi 3:9-12 NKJV

You are cursed with a curse, For you have robbed Me, Even this whole nation. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there  will not be  room enough to  receive  it. “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the Lord of hosts; “And all nations will call you blessed, For you will be a delightful land,” Says the Lord of hosts.

******
Shalom! Day #274. Do you know that in one way or another, we are robbing God? Let's pray. Father forgive us for not bringing and presenting our first fruits to You. Lord, forgive us for we have neglected in giving our tithes and offerings to You. Teach us to be obedient to Your word and be courageous in doing what Your word says. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Whoaa... this words are really strong. You are cursed with a curse, for you have robbed Me. Knowingly or unknowingly, intentionally or unintentionally,  we tend to give or tithes and offerings carelessly, and we tend not to give tithes and offerings. Why is the reason we bring the tithes and offerings to God is because that there may be food in God's house. Food in sense of supply to other people, to the members. We are robbing God. We are thieves in lamb skins. We say we trust in God, yet we do not trust Him in giving. We are just living a lie! We rob God, then He curses not only us, but the whole of our generation that to come.

Now the bible says, taste and see that the Lord is good, even in this passage of the scripture we read that God is challenging us to try Him, to test Him whether He will not open the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there  will not be  room enough to  receive  it. “And He will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the Lord of hosts; “And all nations will call you blessed, For you will be a delightful land,” Says the Lord of hosts. Woww! Amazing!  Do you dare? I do not want today's devotion is just like hitting an empty tin. If you want to be cursed for eternity, then go on robbing God!

II Chronicles 31:5, 9-10, 21 NKJV

As soon as the commandment was circulated, the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits of grain and wine, oil and honey, and of all the produce of the field; and they brought in abundantly the tithe of everything. Then Hezekiah questioned the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps. And Azariah the chief priest, from the house of Zadok, answered him and said, “Since the  people began to bring the offerings into the house of the Lord , we have had enough to eat and have plenty left, for the Lord has blessed His people; and what is left is this great abundance.” And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, in the law and in the commandment, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart. So he prospered.

Blessings begins to flow when we begin to give cheerfully. Why there is always lack in our finances no matter how much money we earn? The reason is we are not bringing our first fruits to God. God says that the tithes is His. IT BELONGS TO HIM. So if we hold back from returning it back to God, it means we are robbing God. And robbing is a sin! There is a concept known as sow and reap. What you sow, you shall reap back. Many of us are Jimmy. Give me give me my name is Jimmy. We want blessing, but we are not ready to give, not ready to sacrifice. The verse we read says " the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits." Wow... in abundance! Joyfully they gave! I like the final sentence of thi scripture SO HE PROSPERED! He paid the price 1st, before even he could experience prosperity!

The bible says in :

Luke 6:38 NKJV

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

II Corinthians 9:6-8 NKJV

But this I  say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So  let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

You have to give first, then it will be given to you. You have to sow the seed first then you are able to reap the harvest. There will be enough and plentiful for you when God begins to bless you because you gave, because you've sowed. A cheerful giver is not calculative in giving. No matter what you receive, learn to give. Are we giving our tithes monthly? Only God knows. Give what you have, and God will make sure you shall not be in lack in anything.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
