You are cursed with a curse...!

Malachi 3:9-12 NKJV

You are cursed with a curse, For you have robbed Me, Even this whole nation. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there  will not be  room enough to  receive  it. “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the Lord of hosts; “And all nations will call you blessed, For you will be a delightful land,” Says the Lord of hosts.

Shalom! Day #274. Do you know that in one way or another, we are robbing God? Let's pray. Father forgive us for not bringing and presenting our first fruits to You. Lord, forgive us for we have neglected in giving our tithes and offerings to You. Teach us to be obedient to Your word and be courageous in doing what Your word says. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Whoaa... this words are really strong. You are cursed with a curse, for you have robbed Me. Knowingly or unknowingly, intentionally or unintentionally,  we tend to give or tithes and offerings carelessly, and we tend not to give tithes and offerings. Why is the reason we bring the tithes and offerings to God is because that there may be food in God's house. Food in sense of supply to other people, to the members. We are robbing God. We are thieves in lamb skins. We say we trust in God, yet we do not trust Him in giving. We are just living a lie! We rob God, then He curses not only us, but the whole of our generation that to come.

Now the bible says, taste and see that the Lord is good, even in this passage of the scripture we read that God is challenging us to try Him, to test Him whether He will not open the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there  will not be  room enough to  receive  it. “And He will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the Lord of hosts; “And all nations will call you blessed, For you will be a delightful land,” Says the Lord of hosts. Woww! Amazing!  Do you dare? I do not want today's devotion is just like hitting an empty tin. If you want to be cursed for eternity, then go on robbing God!

II Chronicles 31:5, 9-10, 21 NKJV

As soon as the commandment was circulated, the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits of grain and wine, oil and honey, and of all the produce of the field; and they brought in abundantly the tithe of everything. Then Hezekiah questioned the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps. And Azariah the chief priest, from the house of Zadok, answered him and said, “Since the  people began to bring the offerings into the house of the Lord , we have had enough to eat and have plenty left, for the Lord has blessed His people; and what is left is this great abundance.” And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, in the law and in the commandment, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart. So he prospered.

Blessings begins to flow when we begin to give cheerfully. Why there is always lack in our finances no matter how much money we earn? The reason is we are not bringing our first fruits to God. God says that the tithes is His. IT BELONGS TO HIM. So if we hold back from returning it back to God, it means we are robbing God. And robbing is a sin! There is a concept known as sow and reap. What you sow, you shall reap back. Many of us are Jimmy. Give me give me my name is Jimmy. We want blessing, but we are not ready to give, not ready to sacrifice. The verse we read says " the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits." Wow... in abundance! Joyfully they gave! I like the final sentence of thi scripture SO HE PROSPERED! He paid the price 1st, before even he could experience prosperity!

The bible says in :

Luke 6:38 NKJV

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

II Corinthians 9:6-8 NKJV

But this I  say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So  let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

You have to give first, then it will be given to you. You have to sow the seed first then you are able to reap the harvest. There will be enough and plentiful for you when God begins to bless you because you gave, because you've sowed. A cheerful giver is not calculative in giving. No matter what you receive, learn to give. Are we giving our tithes monthly? Only God knows. Give what you have, and God will make sure you shall not be in lack in anything.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
