Let not your heart be troubled...!

Psalms 73:23-28 NKJV

Nevertheless I am continually with You; You hold me by my right hand. You will guide me with Your counsel, And afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but  You? And there  is none upon earth that I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. For indeed, those who are far from You shall perish; You have destroyed all those who desert You for harlotry. But it  is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord G od , That I may declare all Your works.

******
Shalom! Day #243. Do you know that it is a good thing for us to be near to God? Let's pray. Father, draw us close to You and never let us go. Lead us in the path of righteousness and deliver us from the evil one. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Wow... Folks,  this verse is an awesome verse that strengthens my heart and spirit. Friends, Jesus said in John 14, "Do not let your hearts be troubled." Let me go straight to the word today. When you are near to God, when you are in God,  there's perfect peace. You know folks,  here king David, although at all his splendor, he still can say that without Jesus he is nothing. Whom he has in heaven besides Him. In trouble times where do you run?

This troubled times are one, you personal problems and secondly all the things that's happening now in the world. When your heart is troubled, here king David says, "My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."  Wow... What a faith man... Is your heart troubled today? Draw near to God and you'll find peace, rest and security. Now, troubled times are whatever you are seeing now in the world,  all the wars, the rumours of wars, terrorism, adultery and many more. Rapture,  the coming of the Lord. This things will happen when the second coming of the Lord.  Amen! This is the faith of King David, his problems and troubles are just so tiny in his eyes because he knows that he has a big God who is able to create a miracle for him. Nevertheless I am continually with You; You hold me by my right hand. You will guide me with Your counsel, And afterward receive me to glory. Amen again! Let not your heart be troubled, friends. Trust in God in every situations of your life. God will sustain in every situations you go through.  GBU.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The Lord waters the earth...!

Psalms 72:6-7 NKJV

He shall come down like rain upon the grass before mowing, Like showers that water the earth. In His days the righteous shall flourish, And abundance of peace, Until the moon is no more.

******
Shalom! Day #242. Do you know that we are like the grass waiting for rain to fall upon us? Let's pray. Father, rain down on us we pray. Let Your Spirit pour down like rain on us and saturate us in Your presence. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

There's a song by Planetshakers titled "rain down on me" it's a wonderful song. We are like grasses, dried grasses longing for the rain to shower. God says that in the last days He will pour His Spirit like a rain, heavy rain, flood the generation with His presence. Let us be saturated in His awesome presence,  be soaked in Him. God waters the earth with His rain.

In today's verse, the psalmist is longing for a touch from God. Are we hungry and t4hirsty for His touch, His rain? In this last days, God is about to pour His Spirit, are you ready to receive?  It's gonna be like a massive bomb, bombbbbbbb.... Get ready folks,  and it's already happening now. Are you ready? His rain will revive us, will refresh us, will renew us. His rain is able to cause you to grow stronger in the Lord. Let us allow God to rain on us.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Young and dangerous...!

Psalms 71:17-19 NKJV

O God, You have taught me from my youth; And to this day I declare Your wondrous works. Now also when I  am old and grayheaded, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come. Also Your righteousness, O God, is very high, You who have done great things; O God, who is like You?

******
Shalom! Day #241. Do you know that you should not let anyone to despise your youth or even look down at yourself for being a youth but in every ways of your life, you must be an example to everyone? Let's pray. Father, in every ways of our life we want to be an example to everyone. Let us not be given into our youthful and lustful desires, but in every ways be an example of Your life. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The Bible says in I Timothy 4:12 NKJV Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. When you are still young and dangerous, use it for the glory of God. Let your life be led by the Holy Spirit. Why I say "Young and Dangerous" because when you are still young, you tend to do dangerous things, such as, indulging in adultery, drugs, party and clubbing, many unhealthy activities, murder, robbing and many more. Let us be given into the works of God while we are still young. There's no point of you starting to serve when you are retired if you didn't start it while you are still young. Serving isn't a package in your retirement, you start serving God while you are still young and you grow spiritually from there, from faith to faith and from glory to glory. Be an example of Christ to this generation. It's not easy but it's worth trying and continuing to stand for this generation.

In today's verse, king David is being grateful unto God for choosing him at a very young age, and began to use him. Let us allow God to teach us and show us the great and mighty works of God in our lives and through our lives, and as we grow, let us.continue to boldly declare His wondrous works to this generation. Being a youth is easy when you do it the right way. Yes, there are temptations but you are more than a conqueror,  come on you can do it! Being a youth isn't just about attending youth service or youth activities, but it means to be a witness of His wondrous works, to stand in the gap for this generation, to be an example to both young and old, to live a life that's pleasing unto God. Again I would like to repeat what I have said yesterday,  " The reason or the purpose of God creating us is so that He can have an intimate relationship with us as we continue to walk with Him, to serve Him to worship, to pray and communicate with Him and to read and meditate on His words. Now, the reason or the purpose of your life is to do the will of God, the great commission Matthew 28:18-20." Your lives.purpose isn't about how much of youth activities you are involved in, or how may revival meetings you attend but it's about how are with representing Christ to the world. Are witnessing Christ to our family, friends and colleagues?  Are we being an example Christ? This are somethings for you to ponder on. Be young and dangerous for God and let the devil be afraid of you!

GOD BLESS YOU...!

The zeal for Your house...!

Psalms 69:9 NKJV

Because zeal for Your house has eaten me up, And the reproaches of those who reproach You have fallen on me.

******
Shalom! Day #240. Do you know that the more you seek God, the zealous you will be in doing His works? Let's pray. Father, let us not turn back from following You and serving You. Let there be such a zeal in our heart's to continue to follow You, serve You and to trust You despite all the situations and circumstances we face daily. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Are you zealous for God? The Bible says in Romans 12:11 "not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord." In other words, I paraphrase it, it means let blazing spirit, a fiery spirit in serving the Lord. I can relate the word zealous means to be diligent, be fanatic in serving the Lord, passionate, devoted, committed, dedicated, a real hard-core believer, energetic and there's a lot to be related to this one word ZEALOUS. The Greek word zeal is ZELOS, which means the same of what I mentioned above. People who are so passionate, diligent will never ever give up in following and trusting God. Even in the new testament it is written in John 12:17, and about what Jesus did. It is clear that Jesus was "consumed" with something. He was driven by zeal, a burning passion and enthusiasm, but, for what? The answer is simple "THE FATHER'S HOUSE."

In today's verse we are going to learn something new, even for me as I was reading and studying this verse, the Holy Spirit began to open my mind to understand what is this passage is about. The Father's house. The zeal for the House of God has consumed us. Now, do you know where is the Father's house? In the new testament, the church isn't a physical building but it's a spiritual and relational building of living stones built upon the Rock, the foundation of Jesus Christ. Jesus said, "on this rock I will build My church and the gates of hell shall not prevail." If Jesus is zealous about building this "church" what would His enemy try to do? Certainly the devil will not sit quietly, for sure he will try to destroy whatever Jesus is trying to build. This is why the church has a lot of troubles - (persecution), the devil tries to destroy the "church" of God. In this last days, God is Rebuilding His temple,  and the devil is actively trying to destroy it. Even in the mayor all this, Jesus is still consumed with a zeal to build His church. The ferventness of our spirit, the passion within us must draw us close to God and to do His will. The reason or the purpose of God creating us is so that He can have an intimate relationship with us as we continue to walk with Him, to serve Him to worship, to pray and communicate with Him and to read and meditate on His words. Now, the reason or the purpose of your life is to do the will of God, the great commission Matthew 28:18-20. Are we being consumed with such a zeal toward building the spiritual house of God? Are we sowing our time into winning souls and discipling them? Building the spiritual house of God. Preparing the bride for the Bridegroom. Even to this hour, Jesus is still actively building His church, what about us? Are we fervently doing the will of God? God bless You.

God choose you...!

Psalms 65:4 NKJV

Blessed is  the  man You choose, And cause to approach You, That he may dwell in Your courts. We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Of Your holy temple.

******
Shalom! Day #239. Do you know that God did not somehow chose you, but He had you in His master plan for your life and future? Let's pray. Father, You knew us before we were formed in our mother's womb. You set us apart to be Your chosen generation, a peculiar people. Use us according to Your will and Your purposes. Into Your hands we commit again ourselves totally to do Your will and Your purposes. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

As I have said before, I count it as a privilege and a blessing to serve my God. There's an unexplainable joy in serving God. Why? Because as you faithfully follow and serve God, there are surprises.awaiting you. God creates His miracles for us way out of our understanding. The Lord chosen us not because He has no any better choice, but In His eyes you are the better choice, who said "here I am, Lord" and He has an extraordinary plans and purposes for your life. You must realize one thing, that is, you weren't called or being chosen now, but even before you were conceived in your mother's womb, the Lord already knew you, chosen you and set you to be the prophet to the nations. It's just now only we realize the great calling. The moment we pray, Lord, here I am, that's the moment you realize God has already called you.

Jesus said, "You did not choose me, but I choose you. " What's so great in us, that God's eyes was upon us and chosen us to be His people. He chosen us so that we may continue to dwell in His presence and be satisfied by the goodness, love, grace and the mercies of God. If we say we love God, then prove it. Loving God is not just based on mere words, but to be proven in our every actions. If we say we love Him, then give Him you best as you serve Him and God will make sure that you will not return void or empty handed, but you shall bear eternal fruits, eternal blessings. Blessed is  the  man You choose, And cause to approach You, That he may dwell in Your courts. We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Of Your holy temple.

Our first priority as a believer....!

Psalms 63:1, 3 NKJV

O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You.

******
Shalom! Day #238. Do you know that our first priority as a believer is to seek God? Let's pray. Father, as it's written in the bible, "seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness," we want to make it our first priority everyday of our lives to seek You first before we do anything so that You will give us success in everything we do. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The Bible says in Matthew 6:33 "seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." In another portion of the scripture says that Jesus rose very early in the morning, and went to a quiet place and He began to pray. The first this we do every morning is important because it will have an effect to our whole day task, emotions, our enthusiasm and so on. When you start your day with reading and meditating the word of God and spending some time in prayer, and confessing or prophesying to the day God has given to you, then you shall see His miracles in the midst of you busy schedule. Everything you will prosper because the Lord is together with you and He is involved in everything you do.

The psalmist David says that,  "O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. Normally when I wake up in the morning, I will need a glass of warm water to ease my throat. Yeah, I'm thirsty as well. The same goes to David, he is trying to explain here that through out the night hours till morning, we sleep and our body gets no water. Maybe sometimes we get up and drink, some not. But, you know what he is trying to explain here is the first thing he does when he is up in the early hours of the morning is to seek God, because God satisfies his thirsts, because God is the Living Water and those who come to Him will never thirst again. Amen! Let us make it our first priority to seek the Lord first before we do anything and then you shall see how God is able to turn a bad day to good day, a day that's filled with His promises and hope! God bless you!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

God is for us, who can be against us?

Psalms 60:11-12 NKJV

Give us help from trouble, For the help of man is useless. Through God we will do valiantly, For it  is He who shall tread down our enemies.

******
Shalom! Day #237. Do you know that the help from God to us is sure and that through Him we can do great and mighty things? Let's pray. Father, if You are for us who can be against us? When we seek You in every situations of our lives, we are sure of the help that comes from You. Thank You Jesus for always being there for us. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The salvation of God is for sure. The help from God to us is for sure when we call upon the name of God. In the bible, there's never a case or situation where, when the people called upon the Lord and God remained silent and did not help them. Nope. Never at all. Assuredly I say to you today, that the help from God is for sure and never give up in trusting the Lord. He is able to help you in whatever situations or conditions you are.

In the bible it is written about many mighty men of God. When the sought the Lord and God used them mightily. Daniel said, those who know their God will do attempt greater exploits. People who knew their God is strong and valiant people. In Romans 8:31 it's written that, " God is for us, who can be against us?" When you trust in the Lord wholeheartedly, and be on His side, then God shall be on your side. Keep calm and praise God and trust in Him, for the salvation of God is for sure. God bless you!

Waiting time is never a wasted time...!

Psalms 59:9-10, 16-17 NKJV

I will wait for You, O You his Strength; For God is my defense. My God of mercy shall come to meet me; God shall let me see my  desire on my enemies. But I will sing of Your power; Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning; For You have been my defense And refuge in the day of my trouble. To You, O my Strength, I will sing praises; For God is my defense, My God of mercy.

******
Shalom! Day #236. Do you know that waiting time is never a wasted time? Let's pray. Father, as we wait upon You and earnestly seek You, come and renew our strength, fill us with Your Spirit, create a miracle for us. We will soar like the eagle's. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

A pastor that I know, he always say this phrase "waiting time is never a wasted time." Indeed folks, this saying is true. When we wait upon the Lord, and earnestly seek Him, then the Lord will pour out His awesome presence and power upon us. We will be strengthen from inside out. In Isaiah 40:31 NKJV the Lord says, "But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint." Hallelujah! What an awesome promise! If you are stressed, disappointed, troubled, brokenhearted, facing the Goliath's of your life, and you feel so tired and weary, and totally worn out, come to God, wait upon Him and the Lord shall renew your strength and you shall mount up with the wings like eagles you shall run...not walk but RUN...run...runn..... And when you walk, you will not faint. Amen!

In today's verse, king David again he is in a distress situation whereby the enemies are after him and he waited in His presence. He set aside his time to God to seek Him, to wait upon the Lord. How about us friends? Are we in our busy schedule, taking some time to be in the presence of God? Are we so busy in our ministry,  work and family until we do not have even five minutes for God? Waiting time is never a wasted time. When you wait, God gives it to you the best He has prepared for you.

I will bless the Lord with all my soul...!

Psalms 57:7-11 NKJV

My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and give praise. Awake, my glory! Awake, lute and harp! I will awaken the dawn. I will praise You, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing to You among the nations. For Your mercy reaches unto the heavens, And Your truth unto the clouds. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; Let Your glory be above all the earth.

******
Shalom! Day #235. Do you know that when your heart is stabilized, you would sing to God? Let's pray. Father, our hearts are steadfast and we will praise You forever for in every situations of our lives You have done great and mighty things. We will bless you with all our soul. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Steadfast must be our attitude in worshipping, in serving, in living and following Jesus. Steadfast means to be strong in other words faithful. Have a steadfast heart and spirit as you follow the Lord. We are made to worship. The Lord is looking for true worshippers who will worship God in spirit and in truth. This are the group of people who will worship the Lord without looking at what circumstances they are. Their situations, their circumstances doesn't overpower them, but they rise above all storming seas and worship God.

In today's verse, king David he was going through some situations where the enemies was after him, yet in the midst of all turmoil, he lift up his hand, lift up his voice and worshipped the Lord. How about us? Are we sincerely following the Lord, or we are come to God when time is good or we are willing to worship God no matter what our situations is?

Come to Me...!

Psalms 55:22 NKJV

Cast your burden on the Lord , And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

******
Shalom! Day #234. Do you know that God welcomes all those who are heavy laden and He gives rest to them? Let's pray. Father, only You can give us the rest we need. In You there's peace for our soul. We come to You today that You would lift up our burdens and give us rest. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The Bible says in Matthew 11:28-30 NKJV "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” I believe this verse explains it much. As a believer we must learn to rest in God. Yeah, it doesn't matter how good or bad was your day was or is.... Learn to rest in the God of peace. When you go through emotional situations be it in angry, heartbroken, disappointed, betrayed, being stabbed from the back, your husband or your wife doesn't understands you, your boss scolded you for mistakes you did not do, well, do not make any decisions at such emotional situation. Once your emotions are stabilized, then you shall have the peace of mind and any decisions made shall give you the results you need. As for me, yes, I get angry easily when provoked but at the same time I can cool down very fast, because I choose to rest in the Lord. Learn to stabilize our emotions in the Lord and you will get a clear focus on what to do next. I will just go to my room, be it at home or in my office, I will lift up my hands, I will lift up my voice and I will just sing "bless the Lord O my soul and worship His holy name." I find my rest in the Lord.

In today's verse we see that the psalmist is in a restless condition and till he came to a point saying that to cast all our burden on the Lord and He shall sustain you. The grace of the Lord sustains us. The strength of God sustains us. The power of God sustains us. As I was reading this verse, the Holy Spirit reminded me of another verse is Matthew 11:28-30 as well as in  1 Peter 5:7. Come to Me says the Lord and cast all your care upon Him for he cares for you. Do not be restless in spirit. Many servants of God they are busy doing this and that, until they forget to have that quiet moment with God, to rest in Him and find peace in the Lord. Amen! Are you busy running here and there? Are you emotionally disturbed? Do you feel like no one understands your feelings? Well, I have a good news for you.... The Lord is just waiting for you to come to Him. God bless you.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

I'm like a green olive tree in the house of God...!

Psalms 52:8-9 NKJV

But I am  like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever. I will praise You forever, Because You have done it; And in the presence of Your saints I will wait on Your name, for it is good.

******
Shalom! Day #233. Do you know that when you dwell in the garden of the Lord, you'll continue to flourish and bear fruit in and out of season? Let's pray. Father, as it is written in Psalms 1:3, cause us continue to bear fruits, in and out of season. So that we can continue to shout of Your praises forevermore. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Folks, one thing I desire is to be in the house of God the rest of my life, dwelling in His presence. When you dwell in the Lord, you will continue to experience growth and multiplication. You will continue to be fruitful in and out of season. You will continue to flourish in the presence of the Lord. Psalm 1:3 says that "he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in season, Whose leaf also shall not wither, and whatever he does shall prosper." Yes, when you dwell in the Lord, you shall experience this. Jesus said in John 15:5 NKJV “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." Without God, outside of God we cannot do anything, we cannot be fruitful, we cannot be safe, we cannot be healed, we cannot experience revival, we cannot have joy, we can never experience blessings,  we cannot do anything without God.

What I learned from today's verse is,

1. It doesn't matter how hard it can be, remain in the garden of God.
- Though it may seem like you are going through a draught season, never be uprooted from the garden of God, continue to stay in His presence because God is able to make you be fruitful in and out of season. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.

2. Without God we are nothing.
- A ministry without God, is empty, void, nothing. If you want a fruitful ministry, let God be involved. Abide in Him and He in you. When you abide in Him, He will make sure that you are well taken cared of. Meaning to say that He will cut those branches that's not growing, He will prune you so that you can continue to grow and be fruitful. He will water you with His life. He will feed you with His bread of life, the living word of God.

3. I will continue to praise Him.
- God is my comfort, my shelter, my tower of refuge and strength. All that I am will will never cease to worship Him. In the midst of everything I will conto shout His praises, not just because He has done great and mighty things in my life as I abide in Him, but because I was made to shout of His praises! To make Jesus known to the world, or at least to a generation.

4. I will continue to trust in Him.
- It doesn't matter what kind of situation I am in, I will continue to trust my God because I know, oh yes I know that He is able to create a miracle for me. When I abide in Him, there's safety and security.

This verse is very dear to me because I was wondering what is the gift the Lord is going to give me as I celebrate my birthday today, and the Lord spoke to me this verse today. I am blessed! How about you? Continue to abide in the Lord.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

His infinite love...!

Psalms 51:7, 10-12, 16-17 NKJV

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by  Your  generous Spirit. For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise.

******
Shalom! Day #232. Do you know that God will never despise a broken and contrite spirit? Let's pray. Father, in brokenness we come before You that You will make us whole once again. Create in us a pure heart and renew a right spirit within us. Make me new in You Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

This Psalms is talking about how a believer must be, be it you think that you are a sinner or not, this must be out character, humbleness. Coming to God in brokenness and in openness, allowing Him to purge all sin from us, cleaning us, creating in us a pure heart and a right spirit, a steadfast spirit. If you read the true account of what Jesus did with the five loaves of bread and two fish, where do you think the miracle happened? The boy represent us. We must go to God in brokenness. The boy, he brought all he had to God just to be broken and to be made new. God created something after He gave thanks and broke the bread. Miracle happened when He broke the bread. When you come to God in total surrender, in brokenness, God is able to take your life and break it into pieces and create a miracle out of it.

Today,  in this verse, what the psalmist is trying to say is... Come to God in humbleness and surrender to Him totally.  Let God to have His way in your life. The boy did not instruct Jesus on what to do with the breads and the fish, instead Jesus took it and have His way on it. God can create a miracle with a broken and contrite spirit. He creates a new you with a new heart and new spirit. If you see, bread is a symbol of life, Jesus said I am the bread of life and fish is a symbol of His infinite love towards us. So, Jesus gave His life and love for a wretched person like me and you when we don't deserve it. Yet, He took us, cleansed us, and gave us a new garment of sonship and called us His own. That's something amazing and it's unexplainable. Are we today coming to God in brokenness, in total surrender? If not do something about it and you shall see His miracles in your life. God bless you...!

We are created to worship Him...!

Psalms 50:14-17 NKJV

Offer to God thanksgiving, And pay your vows to the Most High. Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.” But to the wicked God says: “What right have you to declare My statutes, Or take My covenant in your mouth, Seeing you hate instruction And cast My words behind you?

******
Shalom! Day #231. Do you know that the rights to declare the statutes of God is given to the children's of God and the wicked has no place in it? Let's pray. Father, we count it as a privilege to serve You and to be Your son's and daughter's. Thank You for giving us the privilege to come to You and offer our sacrifices. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The only reason we are created is to be the worshippers of God. The word worship I can explain in this term if you agree. The act of worshipping is an act devotion towards the things you love the most and you are willing to do anything for it. For example if you love your spouse, you would adore him/her, you would do anything so that they would look good. With this in mind, if you say you love God, you would do anything just  to be in His presence. Worshipping is an act of adoring God and proclaiming His wondrous works. Worship is not just in Sunday service, but it's a lifestyle. The act of thanksgiving is an act of worship. To us, the children's of God is given the privilege to come to Him and worship Him, to glorify Him, to magnify Him, to adore Him.

In today's verse we will learn something new, not out of doctrine, but it's biblical. I was shocked at first yet when I meditate on it, I then understood the context. It's written that  But to the wicked God says: “What right have you to declare My statutes, Or take My covenant in your mouth, Seeing you hate instruction And cast My words behind you?" The wicked people aren't given the privilege to proclaim the statutes of God. There's two categories of this wicked people.

1. Wicked people, unbelievers.
- The group of people are like the sons of Sceva. They tried to use the name of God to cast out demons and do many things yet their hearts was filled with wickedness and evil plots. They used the name of God for their own gain and what happened? The devil questioned them "Jesus I know, Paul I know, but who are you?" Even the devil knows whether you belongs to God or not. So to this group of people, God detest them. They have no right to proclaim and teach the statutes of God unless and until they confess their sins and accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

2. People who know the truth yet they twist it for their gain.
- Now, this second group of people, they are the one who know the truth yet they twist it for their own benefits and gain. For example, wolf in the lambs skin. This people, they use a ministry or their titles (pastor, reverend, evangelist, and so on) for their financial gain. No, not all are like that. There are some of genuine heart. But some as I have encountered a few, using their ministry to gain financial support in the name of ministry. They declare that the Lord is this and that, but the fact is there's no signs and wonders are accompanied by their ministry. Yes, they do pray but there's no power in their prayers. Be aware of such wolves. This group of people they hate instructions and rebukes. They seem to have a heart to learn, but no. They aren't willing to be corrected. This are those who do ministry for the glorification of their name and ministry and God is left out of the picture.

Which category we are? Are we sincerely serving God or we fall into either one of the two categories? God bless you.

Yes, you can count on God...!

U Psalms 46:1-5, 10-11 NKJV

God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah There  is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High. God is  in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn. Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah

******
Shalom! Day #230! Do you know that God is a very present help in trouble and that those who trust in Him shall run to Him? Let's pray. Father, we be still and know that You are the God of every situations of our life. We know that in every situations You are in control of it. You are our refuge and strength. Thank You Jesus for always being there for us. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

When I was reading this verse suddenly I remembered that there's a plaque in my office with this verse. I'm strengthen by this verse I read always at my office. God is the strength of my heart. My colleagues, they always ask me "why are you so happy?" Well, the reason they asked such question because every minute I would just be humming either a worship or a praise song. I know where I can find peace, joy and strength but they don't know. So I would want to be a good testimony in the midst of the unbelievers. Amen! God is my refuge and my strength and in Him I shall find my rest and strength. Let me say this. Humans are really good in disappointing us, even they are very good at turning down a favor or help request from us. I'm saying this because, one of my best friend, he always turn to me for advice, help in certain things he need, but when I'm in need of help, he would say ok I will check it our but actually there's nothing has been done. So, the only person I can turn to is my true Living Friend, my God my refuge, a very present help in times of trouble. I can count on Him.

Folks, in today's verse we learn that we must continue to hope in the Lord God, our Saviour. Although we go through hard time, troubled time, difficulties after difficulties yet there's always a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God. A river of joy. A river of life. A river that flows with hope and new strength. There's always a calm sea after every storm and in every storm you still can be calm and be stilled because Jesus is there with us in every situations of our lives. Thus says the Lord "Be still, and know that I am God" and He is in control of every situations of our lives. When your soul is troubled, run to God, take refuge in Him. Yes, you can surely count on God.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Jesus Christ.... Satisfies our soul...!

Psalms 42:1-2, 5 NKJV

As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him For the help of His countenance.

******
Shalom! Day #229. Do you know that there's a longing deep within our soul, a longing to be with the Lord? Let's pray. Father, our soul longs for You, longs to be filled, longs to be satisfied with Your river or Love, longs to be refreshed in Your presence. We are longing for Your touch Lord. Come and fill us anew, revive us. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

There's a deep longing within us. A longing that wants to be with the Lord our God. A longing for His touch and love. The touch of revival, the touch of love, this must be our deep yearning. There's no any God will satisfy your thirsts except the Living God that we serve and believe in, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Here the psalmist is saying that his soul is down cast because the longing towards the Living God. He wants to be united with God, he wants to stand before God and soak in His presence. We could be going through many things is our lives. At times we would be going times when our soul is so dry, drought season. This dryness happens because we are far away from God. When we are far from God there's a spiritual dryness and this is the cause of why we're are going through drought season in our spiritual walk with God. To quench the thirst of our soul, we must come back to God, the giver and the owner of the River of Life and you'll never go thirsty again. Jesus Christ,  satisfies your soul.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Jars of clay....!

Psalms 40:1-5, 8, 16 NKJV

I waited patiently for the Lord ; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth— Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, And will trust in the Lord . Blessed is that man who makes the Lord his trust, And does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. Many, O Lord my God, are Your wonderful works Which You have done; And Your thoughts toward us Cannot be recounted to You in order; If I would declare and speak of  them, They are more than can be numbered. I delight to do Your will, O my God, And Your law is  within my heart.” Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; Let such as love Your salvation say continually, “The Lord be magnified!”

******
Shalom! Day #228. Do you know that God has brought you out from the miry clay and set your feet firm on the rock? Let's pray. Father, thank You for Your love to us that You handpicked us from the miry clay and established us on the Rock of our salvation. From the miry clay, make us, mould us to be the jars of Your glory that wherever we will be, we would shine forth Your glory. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

We are His wonderful masterpiece. From the miry clay, the Lord created a wonderful and beautiful vessel, beautiful jar. He established us on our Rock, the Lord Jesus Christ. He established us on the truth of His word and through His words, He establishes each of our steps. The works of God in our lives is an extraordinary work even till there's always a new song in our hearts to shout of His praises and of all the things He has done for us. The Lord has put a new song in out mouth to sing of His marvelous and magnificent works.

In today's verse we see how David was praising God for all the help and wonderful works He has done for him. Psalm 40 is really kick start for every believer. Blessed is that man who makes the Lord his trust, And does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. Never be given into the lies of the proud. When you begin to walk with God, you must be aware of such people who will not just give you wrong doctrines through their pride, but also will take far away from God. Never ever forget from where got has handpicked us. We were in a horrible pit of our lives, a great mess we were in, yet God handpicked us from the miry clay and cleansed us and make us a new. He threw every stone, dirt, shattered glass and every other things from the clay, and He began to mould us and make us a new. A wonderful masterpiece of God we are. And now we're to live for God,  be Hi vessels of glory.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Do not fret...!

Psalms 37:1-5 NKJV

Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb. Trust in the Lord , and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord , And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord , Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.

******
Shalom! Day #227. Do you know that when you delight yourself in the Lord and commit your ways to the Lord, God will give you the desires of your heart? Let's pray. Father,  let us be not envious of the workers of iniquity but in every of our ways be submitted to You and delight ourselves in You. As we commit our ways to You, and trust in You, we believe that You shall bring it to pass. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

When it comes to evildoers, sometimes we are so driven to expose them especially when it involves ministry and also the conduct in handling God's money. I am one of them. Yet when I ponder back, you don't have to do that at all, just pray for them and let God to deal with them. If they want to continue in their iniquity, let it be, God is just and faithful and He shall reward every men according to what they have done. The secret to keep calm and continue to serve is found in today's verse. We'll look into it in just a bit. When God begins His judgment, those evildoers will just wither like the green grass and they will not remain forever and even the ministry and the works they do shall not prosper.

As we walk in this world filled with wickedness and evil, there's a few things that we would want to look in at.

1. Trust in the Lord.
Yes I know that you are firm when it comes to believing in God and your faith is immovable, unshakeable. When you trust in the Lord,  it means you do not do evil things as we. Why? Simple, when you do good to those who does evil, God will repay you back and you will.continue to dwell in His presence, and feed of the faithfulness of God.

2. Delight yourself in the Lord.
Delighting ourselves in the Lord,  in His ways, in His words is for our own good as well. You may have been asking the Lord this and that and it seems you aren't getting it, why? Because you aren't delighting yourself in the Lord. Delighting yourselves in the Lord means to feel happy, to feel easy, to feel that there's nothing that can stop you from doing the works of God. You have to enjoy in the Lord. Enjoy doing His will. Enjoy serving Him. Enjoy walking with Him. Enjoy communicating with Him. Then God shall do the desires of your heart.

3. Commit your way to the Lord.
When you begin to committed God everything you,  you shall witness how God prospers it. Never do anything without the counsel of God. Commit all of our ways to God and He shall make it happen, make it come to pass all your desires,  works and plans.

Amen? Trust in the Lord. Delight yourself in the Lord. Commit your ways to the Lord and witness the works of God in your lives.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Do you still know what's your purpose...?

Psalms 35:18, 28 NKJV

I will give You thanks in the great assembly; I will praise You among many people. And my tongue shall speak of Your righteousness And of Your praise all the day long.

******
Shalom! Day #226. Do you know what is the purpose you came to the world? Let's pray. Father, we pray that we would not forget the purpose of which You have sent us to the world. Use us Lord to declare Your praises.  Let our life sing an anthem of Your praise. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Many believers are just somehow walking their life meaningless not knowing what's the purpose of their lives and what's the reason they're still on earth. Do you know what is the purpose of your life? In John 1:6-7 NKJV it is written about John the Baptist and the purpose he came to this world, "There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe." There's a few things that we would want to learn from this verse.

1. There was a man.
Recognize our humanity.  Yes, you must recognized that you are just a human that was made from the dust. It teaches us to know that we are human, and God is our Creator and we are nothing compared to what God is able to do. Meaning to say that we as human beings must humble ourselves and know the lordship of God upon our lives and we have a Master that we must submit to.

2. Sent from God.
Recognize your calling. Yes, folks, when Isaiah said, "here I am, send me" it means he knows what is his purpose he came to this world. Likewise, John was sent from God. You must know your calling. You were sent from God for what purpose? Not just to serve Him, not just to live for Him, but to bear witness of Him. Yes, you may be involved in many other ministries, yet our ultimate calling is to bear witness of Jesus to this world. Before He was taken up, He said to His disciples, "You shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." To be Christ witness is our ultimate calling, but you got to start somewhere.

3. To bear witness.
Whatever you are doing, are we bearing witness about Jesus? And what is the result? Are we bearing fruits? Jesus said "I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit." Whatever ministry you're involved in, be the witnesses of Christ. Whatever you are doing,  be the witnesses of Christ. Let it be so that through you, through your life, people will come to believe in Christ. Let your life be a testimony that would glorify the Lord and let people be encouraged by the testimonies of your life. Bear witness.

In today's verse we see the psalmist, not just writing a Psalm to declare his God given purpose, but he is actually stating that for this purpose I have come, that I will give You thanks in the great assembly; I will praise You among many people. And my tongue shall speak of Your righteousness And of Your praise all the day long. Give thanks to God in a great assembly means to declare or bear witness of what the Lord has done to you openly to everyone.  I will praise You among many people means to declare the banner of God over all the earth. My tongue shall speak of Your righteousness And of Your praise all the day long means to teach and disciple many about the laws of God, the righteousness of God.

So, do you know what is the purpose you came to this world?

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Taste and see....!

Psalms 34:8, 10, 15, 22 NKJV

Oh, taste and see that the Lord  is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing. The eyes of the Lord  are on the righteous, And His ears are  open to their cry. The Lord  redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.

******
Shalom! Day #225. Do you know that there's no condemnation of those who trust in Him and that they shall not lack in any good things? Let's pray. Father, we have tasted and seen Your goodness, because You do not withhold anything good from us. As we seek You, we firmly believe and trust that we will not be in lack of anything for Your love, grace and mercy sustains us. Thank You Jesus. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

People who have tasted the goodness of God, they will continue to walk in the truth of God. There's some who do not do likewise. They seek God just to receive something from Him. But the faithful believers, the remain in the Lord because they have witnessed what the Lord is able to do in every situations of their lives. Jesus is the bread of life, when you eat the bread of life, then you will know how tasty it is. When you eat a piece of fried chicken, you can know whether it's tasty or not. When you eat the words of God,  not physically eating the bible, but meditate day and night on His word, then you will see how good our God is. People who have tasted and witnessed the goodness of God are the people who trust in God. Nevertheless, there's some believers who are like "touch & go" Christians. They come to God just because there's a need and when the need is met, they are missing.

In today's verse, we see the psalmist is pouring out his heart because he has seen the goodness of God in his life. Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing. The eyes of the Lord  are on the righteous, And His ears are  open to their cry and none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned. In this last days, God is again reminding us to hold fast to the faith we have in Him. My heart really goes out to all the Christian martyrs. Not many would choose to remain faithful to the end of his breath when persecution comes. Persecution and the killing of the believers of God is taking place now, but those who have tasted the goodness of God, those who trust Him, shall see the deliverance and the salvation of God. Those who trust Him shall not be put to shame or be condemned. Be faithful and not faithless. Remain a believer and not become an unbeliever.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The Lord preserves the faithful and He fully repays the proud....!

Psalms 31:23-24 NKJV

Oh, love the Lord , all you His saints! For the Lord preserves the faithful, And fully repays the proud person. Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the Lord .

******
Shalom! Day #224. Do you know that the Lord preserves those who are faithful and also repays those who are of prideful heart? Let's pray. Father, preserve us in Your love that we may not divert from Your truth. Guard our hearts from pride and ego that we may not even think to steal Your glory. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Faithful servants will never have the intention of parading the ministry they do nor going around boasting that "Wow brother,  my ministry is like this and like that, " and everything from A to Z you have to boast about but little do they know that they are glorifying themselves and not God. When the feeling of "MY" creeps in, pride also comes in. A sense of selfishness, self-glorification, and everything about what you did for the ministry will be made known, but you left out God from the whole picture of the ministry. As though God doesn't exist and He did not do anything in the ministry of which He has entrusted to you. I know a few of the same kind species who does this. They are the bunch of people who talk big, dream big but when it comes to the doing part, they are missing, and people below them has to do the donkeys work and at the end of the day they get the good name. Have you encountered such species before? But, the faithful servant does what has been entrusted to him, not just do for the sake of doing, but he or she will give their best in doing it. Why? Because they know that it is God who called them and gave them an opportunity to serve and God entrusted the ministry to them. It's like the story of the talents. Two came back with multiplication, the third came with the same amount given. Although it's not theirs but they take it as something that's precious to them and they gave their best to it. Now, that's a faithful servant.

As we read today's verse, it says that the Lord preserves the faithful and He fully repays to proud. Then it continues,  "Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the Lord." The proud will see their destruction whilst the faithful servants will be preserved by God. It means God will take care of them, He will bless them extraordinarily, God will strengthen their hearts, God will give them the courage and the boldness they need to do greater works for Him. Not only in serving Him, but as well as they personal life and for everything they need, God provides and supplies. God gives them a new strength to fight every battle and challenges they face everyday. Your hope in God isn't in vain. God bless you!

For my grieve...the oil of joy...!

Psalms 30:9-12 NKJV

“What profit is  there in my blood, When I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise You? Will it declare Your truth? Hear, O Lord , and have mercy on me; Lord , be my helper!” You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.

******
Shalom! Day #223. Do you that if you are dead, there's no point for you to serve God or even to worship Him? Let's pray. Father, Your word says that You are the bread of life, therefore Lord, as we continue to chew Your word, meditate it day and nite, let our dry bones become alive in You, let us be revived through Your word and let us to shout of Your praises forevermore. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

When you are dead both spiritually and physically, there's no point for you to live for God, or serve Him and worship Him unless there's a yearning within you to be revived spiritually. The Lord spoke the the prophet Ezekiel, "prophesy upon the dry bones and see it come alive." If you are dying spiritually, speak the words of God into your life today and be revived or else get a person who you can trust and get them to pray for you.

In today's verse we going to learn of David's character as he face his life's challenges. Many of us know that he is a man after God's own heart. He knows what praise and worship and can do. He said, "What profit is  there in my blood, When I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise You? Will it declare Your truth?" A person's real strength is when he or she is able to open up their mouth and praise God even they are in the pit. Many of us, when we go through hard times, we complain, we try to find a way out but we forget to get God involved in our lives and in all the situations we are going through. Let me tell you this, if you are willing to shout His praises,  declare the lordship of God upon your life and all the situations you are going through, you shall see.His power and from that same pit, he will lift you up again, cleanse you, establish you, revive you, restore you and heal you. True joy is seen when you are going through hard times and from within it you are still able to shout for joy unto God. David declared "You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever." Amen! Many people praise God when everything seems to be going on smoothly, but then when is hard and troubled times they find it hard to sing praises to God, to give thanks. Miracles happens when you willing to praise God despite all the situations you're going through.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

In Jesus there's safety and security...!

Psalms 27:4-5 NKJV

One thing I have desired of the Lord , That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord , And to inquire in His temple. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.

******
Shalom! Day #222. Do you know that when you dwell in the Lord, there's safety and security? Let's pray. Father, Your word says, we abide in You and You in us as we continue to walk with You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Oh friends, I bring glad tidings and good news for you today. Do you want to hear it? Well, LISTEN carefully folks. Never ever you run outside of Jesus. Never be out of God's radar. Why? Because when you live outside of God, many things will happen, I'm saying many bad things will happen. There will not be safety and protection. If we read the true story of Jesus and His disciples while was in the boat and in the midst of the storm, when it hits them, Jesus was sleeping soundly and the disciples was so terrified of what is happening until the woke up Jesus and told Him that, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” They said together with Jesus they will die. Why this can happen? Why did they uttered such word? One thing I can say that they are still blinded of knowing who Jesus is and what He is able to do, though they see Him, be with Him, yet they still haven't known the Lord fully. They even tried to jump out of the boat but little do they know that only in Jesus and when God Himself is with us, there's safety and security. Outside of Jesus, there's danger waiting for you. Abide in Me and I in you, Jesus said.

In today's verse we see how David was expressing his heart to God. His only desire is to dwell in the House of God, dwell in God the rest of his life, because in Him "in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock." He knows that outside of Jesus there's danger awaits him. Folks, are you outside of Jesus? Remember, never jump out of the boat because Jesus is with you in the boat, outside of the boat there's storm and every kind of danger the world has to offer you. In Jesus there's safety and security.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Let the vindication begin...!

Psalms 26:1-3, 11-12 NKJV

Vindicate me, O Lord , For I have walked in my integrity. I have also trusted in the Lord ; I shall not slip. Examine me, O Lord , and prove me; Try my mind and my heart. For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes, And I have walked in Your truth. But as for me, I will walk in my integrity; Redeem me and be merciful to me. My foot stands in an even place; In the congregations I will bless the Lord .

******

Shalom! Day #221. Do you know human needs a lawyer to be their advocate, and for those who trust in the Lord, Jesus is their Advocate?  Let's pray. Father, when people falsely accused us of the things we do not do of, God You vindicate us Lord. We trust in You because we know that You will never leave nor forsake those who trust in You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

I share from my personal experience to you today. Many times people accused me of wrong things, they tried to tarnish the reputation I have. Even, recently something happened, but again my prayer was "Lord You vindicate me." When it the time came for my case to be heard by the leaders of the church or an organization,  either the person who accused me will not be there or he is proven wrong. My God is my Advocate. I just remain silent and when it's finished, I then will burst with shouts of joy and praises. They are jealous of the works that I'm doing for God. So they aren't able to attack me directly but indirectly attacks me by tarnishing my good name and spreading rumours about, but lo and behold the Lord vindicated me! Oh halelujah! When you stand crystal clear before the Lord and allowing Him search your hearts and thoughts, examines your motives and God finds that there truthfulness in you and you have walked uprightly before God with integrity in your heart, the Lord is there to help you. Lest not you be in the wrong and asking the Lord to help you.

In today's verse we see how David was pleading to God for help. David was standing blameless before God. He ask God to examine him thoroughly to see whether is he in wrong or not. When people wrongly accused you do not fight them back, just come to God, let Him vindicate you and you will see the Lord's salvation and vindication! You will see how God shuts the mouth of the enemies.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Show us Your ways...!

Psalms 25:4-5, 21 NKJV

Show me Your ways, O Lord ; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day. Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, For I wait for You.

******
Shalom! Day #220. Do you know that being a believer means, to have integrity and an upright heart?  Let's pray. Father, show us Your ways that we may know Your path and walk in Your truth and never depart. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The Bible says in John 14:6 NKJV Jesus said to him "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." Have you been looking around for the truth of God all this years? I have a good news for you, stop singing show me the way, for Jesus has shown you the way you must go. He has shown you the truth of His word and He has given you a brand new life. Many are still looking for the way to walk in the path of truth and righteousness. Even when many have lead them to Jesus, they still find it hard to comprehend it, to follow it. For my guess, I think they want Jesus to reveal Himself to them then they would believe, exactly like the doubting Thomas. There's a song titled Show me Your ways and it goes like this "show me Your ways, that I may walk with You, show me Your ways, I put my trust in You." The lyrics of this song is simply strong and meaningful. The cry of our heart must be that to love Him more and to live with the touch of His hand and growing stronger each day. How would you ever know His ways if you aren't willing to have a relationship with Him? When you know the Lord, He teaches you and leads you into the path of righteousness and a holy living.

In today's verse we see that the psalmist is pouring out His heart to God in yearning to know the truth of God and His ways. When you are established in the Lord, He creates in You an upright heart. The integrity and uprightness of God will preserve you. What is integrity? Integrity is being truthful, it's about not giving in to lies but stand for the truth. The will lead you when or if you are willing to allow Him to teach you His truth. God bless you!

The Lord saves His anointed one's...!

Psalms 20:6-8 NKJV

Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven With the saving strength of His right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God. They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright.

******
Shalom! Day #219. Do you know that God never leaves His anointed one's alone? Let's pray. Father, thank You for constantly reminding us to hold onto our faith in You. We do not trust on the things we have, but in You alone Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

I guess the Lord must be cooking something delicious and He wants us to eat it. Well, the Lord is constantly reminding us about faith, trust and holding onto the Lord. In this last days, the only thing we must not do is, to give up our faith in God and be given into the worldly fables. We tend to trust the things of the world than the words of God. When Jesus returns the second time, the only question He would ask "is there faith in you?" We tend to put our trust in suchlike things and disappoint ourselves.

In today's verse we read that the psalmist  is saying about people putting their faith and trust in chariots and horses. Many of us, we profess to know the truth yet in action we fail many times. We tend to put our trust on our chariots and horses. We tend to put our trust on the swords we carry for the battle. Actually the sword doesn't guarantee you the victory, but it depends on how skillful you are in handling swords and weapons. We may think that the world gives us perfect security and we put our trust in the things of the world such as money, properties, bank balance, position and power. But when the economy comes tumbling down, we are like sheep's without its master, running here and there without a clear purpose. Victory is from the Lord. The Lord gives victory to everyone who believes in Him and not on their swords, horses and chariots.

But we will remember the name of the Lord our God. They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Let your words and actions be pleasing unto God...!

Psalms 19:14 NKJV

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord , my strength and my Redeemer.

******
Shalom! Day #218. Do you know that when you serve the Lord, meditate on His words and give your life wholeheartedly as a living sacrifice, the Lord is pleased with you and He accepts your sacrifice? Let's pray. Father, we pray that we would watch what we speak and that we would not speak anything that's not pleasing unto You. Lord, let the words we speak bring life and not death. Let our words bring encouragement to those who in need. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The Bible says that our tongue though it is the smallest member in our body yet it holds the power to give life and death. Do you thing that the Lord is pleased with our words that we speak daily? Yes folks, we must be very careful with what we say. Let us not carelessly throw out words from our mouth but be careful, because your words either can give life (encouragement, faith, lift up a person) or it can bring death (discouragement, break a person's spirit).

In today's verse we read that the psalmist is saying that the Lord would be pleased with his words. Let it be acceptable to God. Folks, not only in words but in every of our actions. Now in this verse the psalmist says that "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight". The psalmist isn't just saying about the words he speaks but as well as in his meditation. The act of meditating is an action. So not just by speaking alone but as well as in all of our actions, let it be acceptable to God. Speak a word of encouragement to your friends, families or you colleagues and if possible pray for them they may need a boost of faith and an encouragement. As for us, speak the right word in every situations of our life. I have came across a book titled "The power of positive confession" now, if not talking of the power of positive confession but I am talking about the power confessing the word of God in every situations in our life and then put it into action. The word of God is able to create a miracle for you today if only you are willing to believe and speak it into the situation that you are going through. Hallelujah! God bless you!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

I put my trust in You...!

Psalms 16:1, 7-11 NKJV

Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust. I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel; My heart also instructs me in the night seasons. I have set the Lord always before me; Because He  is at my right hand I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope. For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

******
Shalom! Day #217. Do you know that there's an assurance for those who trust in the Lord? Let's pray. Father, thank You for constantly reminding to trust in You in every situations we go through in our lives. Lord we seek Your counsel, give us wisdom and understanding as we walk through every events in our lives. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The salvation of God is for sure. Those who continously trust in Him shall not be put to shame. In God we trust, we say but when times of trouble comes we find it hard to trust in God. Those who are faithful are the ones who will trust in Him till the end. Where your treasure is, there your heart will be. So where is your heart today? If you have placed it in the Lord, then no matter what happens you will stand strong because your trust is in the Lord.

In today's verse we will learn a few things from the promises of God.

1. He preserves.
- The Lord preserves those who trust in Him. The Lord preserves the simple minded. All those who are humble and simple hearted people who seeks the Lord and makes Him as their horn and shield. Those who are faithful and true before God. Preserve means to retain, to maintain, to keep it in good care. The Lord keeps you in good care,  protecting you from every harm and danger.

2. Set the Lord.
- When you put God first in your life, you will see the salvation of God. Yes. The reason I can assure you of His salvation is because, when you set God before you, you actually have a person to trust and to hold on in every situations you go through. For example, you are in a group and there's a leader in that group. When the leader gives certain task to you, and you don't know how to do it, then you can always run to your leader for advice. When you set the Lord before you, you don't have to fear the enemies for the Lord battles for you. The Lord brings victory for you.

3. The Lord does not leaves you.
- His promise to us, "I will not leave you nor forsake you." Those whose trust is the Lord, He will forsake or abandon you into the enemies hands. God's hand is always there for those who trust and believe in Him.

4. The assurance we have in the Lord.
- " You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore." Amen!

This is a few of what we can learn from this verse. If you have more, then come share it with me. God bless you!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The wisdom of the foolish...!

Psalms 14:1-7 NKJV

The fool has said in his heart, “ There  is no God.” They are corrupt, They have done abominable works, There is none who does good. The Lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God. They have all turned aside, They have together become corrupt; There  is none who does good, No, not one. Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And do not call on the Lord ? There they are in great fear, For God is with the generation of the righteous. You shame the counsel of the poor, But the Lord  is his refuge. Oh, that the salvation of Israel would  come out of Zion! When the Lord brings back the captivity of His people, Let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad.

******
Shalom! Day #216. Do you know that a  foolish person thinks  in his heart that there's no God and everything he has is from his own efforts? Let's pray. Father, we pray that we would not be foolish and blinded by the things that the world has to offer, but let us be wise as we diligently meditate on Your word and open up our eyes to see the wondrous works You have done. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Many at times think that there's no God. If there's no God then how did you came into existence? You drop down from the sky just like that? Many thinks that they don't need God because they do not want or wish to be tied to religion and commitment. Sorry, but I have to say this, they are just a fool that's being used by the devil to fool themselves of the truth of God. They corrupt themselves with the knowledge, wisdom and philosophies of this world and they have done many unpleasant things in the sight of the Lord. Many have turned from the Lord,  from godly to ungodly. In II Timothy 3:1-5 NKJV, it's written that, "But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!" We are living in the last days before Christ returns.

In today's verse, we can see that undoubtedly there will be the great war taking place, the war of Armageddon! And in that war, two major groups will be at war with each other. Nevertheless, it is written that "There they are in great fear, For God is with the generation of the righteous." Yes, God is with the generation who trust in Him, who are righteous, who acknowledges Him as God, who did not live a unholy life. The Lord is holy, therefore be holy. You know the truth yet been living a lie, living an unholy life. You are actually being the devils puppet, the devil playground. Beware of what's happening in the world folks. We are living in the perilous time. The prophecies are coming to past.

The Lord is your refuge...!

Psalms 9:9-10 NKJV

The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord , have not forsaken those who seek You.

******
Shalom! Day #215. Do you know that the Lord is your refuge in times of trouble and that the Lord haven't forsaken those who trust in Him and seek Him? Let's pray. Father, this day we run to You our fortress and refuge, for we know that only You are able to create a miracle for us in times of trouble. We believe in You, we belongs to You. Thank You Jesus. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

I read in a post in Facebook, it says that "prayer isn't a spare tire, it is your main four wheels." Spare tire is only fixed when one of your main tires is punctured. Same goes to our prayer life. Prayer isn't our spare tire and only when in times of trouble we start to pray. Prayer must be our main life line, not spare tire. Jesus isn't the "Spare tire" for your life. Jesus is the main life line for your life. He is the centre of your life. Many people run to Jesus only in times of trouble. Folks, it's getting late and it's getting serious. Stop playing church and warming the church seats. We must everyday be in communion with God and not just on Sundays. When your trust and hope is in God, then you are well assured that the Lord is always there with you in every events and situations of your life.

In today's verse, we see the psalmist he was so distressed and came to God. It's written that "The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord , have not forsaken those who seek You." The will also be a refuge for the oppressed and in the times of trouble. This is for those who are 50 - 50 in the Lord. It doesn't mean that God forsaken them, but He will still help those who call upon the name of Jesus, this are those who claim that they know God, but in action they failed and just for name sake they claim that they know Him. But, those who KNOW, KNOW, AND KNOW who God is, they will firmly trust in God and not just run to Him in times of trouble and distressed. Do you know Your God? For the Lord haven't forsaken those who seek Him.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

God is mindful of you...!

Psalms 8:3-9 NKJV

When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, All sheep and oxen— Even the beasts of the field, The birds of the air, And the fish of the sea That pass through the paths of the seas. O Lord , our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth!

******
Shalom! Day #214. Do you know that God loves you more than anything of what you can offer to Him? Let's pray. Father, what is man that You are mindful of us? We are grateful that You have fearfully and wonderfully made us. Thank You for the cross that You have sent Your son to die for such as us. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

God, fearfully and wonderfully made us and when He created us, He had you in His mind and everything about your life. God knitted every threads into an extraordinary masterpiece and that every threads of your life is important. Your life is precious more then diamonds and rubies. You must know this biblical truth that you are so precious in the sight of God. You must not look down at your life, instead see as how God would want you to be. Attempt greater exploits for God and expect greater things from God. As I said, never look down at yourself as a failure for when God created you, He did not fail.

In today's verse we see how marvelous the love of God for us that we stand amazed at His extraordinary works at the beginning of creations and the humankind as well. It is written that, "For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, All sheep and oxen— Even the beasts of the field, The birds of the air, And the fish of the sea That pass through the paths of the seas. O Lord , our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth!" Wow... What a privilege God gave us. He gave us the authority to have dominion over every creatures and He has put all things under out feet. It means the devil has no any authority upon you and he place is at under your feet! Did you get what I've just said? Yes... The devil has no power, dominion over you. You have been give the authority to trample the devil, to kick him out of your life. Do not be fooled by the tricks of the devil until you allow him to take dominion over you. Always remember, the devil is under your feet and never underestimate what you are capable of doing because God knows what you are built of and He very well knows that you are able to withstand anything. Because you were built to last, built tough.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

In Christ alone...!

Psalms 4:1, 7-8 NKJV

Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have relieved me in my distress; Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer. You have put gladness in my heart, More than in the season that their grain and wine increased. I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord , make me dwell in safety.

******
Shalom! Day #213. Do you know that people who trust in the Lord, they will always have the assurance that they are safe and secured in the Lord's hands? Let's pray! Father, Your word says that when we call upon Your name, You will answer us and show us great and mighty things. Therefore Lord, we call upon Your name, hear us Lord. Thank You for the assurance You gave us, that we can trust You and Your word. You are our strong fortress, and we are safe and secured in You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Security, many people are looking for security. Not security guards, but a place where they feel that they are absolutely safe and secured. There's no greater joy, than knowing that the Lord is always with you and that He never leaves you nor forsakes you. In Him there's perfect peace, there's security,  hope and assurance. People are looking for security in the worldly materials, position, status, money, yet they fail to see and comprehend that only in Christ alone there's all they need. You may gain the whole world, yet at the end of the day do you feel that you are safe?

In today's verse we see that David wrote this Psalms with a distress and disturbed heart, yet with full of assurance he says, "You have put gladness in my heart, More than in the season that their grain and wine increased. I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord , make me dwell in safety." His son, Absalom or in Hebrew "Avshalom " meaning the Father of peace,  was after David and David was running away from him. In the midst of distress David is sure that in Christ alone is his perfect peace, in Christ alone he is safe and secured, and in Christ alone he shall see victory. The worldly materials will not give you a permanent or eternal security. Do not lean on those things such as money, position, status, properties, all this will fade away, but the assurance of God last forever. Are you today running away from many things, problems? Now is the time for you to stand and face it like a man, for the Lord God is with you.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
