The Lord saves His anointed one's...!

Psalms 20:6-8 NKJV

Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven With the saving strength of His right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God. They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright.

Shalom! Day #219. Do you know that God never leaves His anointed one's alone? Let's pray. Father, thank You for constantly reminding us to hold onto our faith in You. We do not trust on the things we have, but in You alone Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

I guess the Lord must be cooking something delicious and He wants us to eat it. Well, the Lord is constantly reminding us about faith, trust and holding onto the Lord. In this last days, the only thing we must not do is, to give up our faith in God and be given into the worldly fables. We tend to trust the things of the world than the words of God. When Jesus returns the second time, the only question He would ask "is there faith in you?" We tend to put our trust in suchlike things and disappoint ourselves.

In today's verse we read that the psalmist  is saying about people putting their faith and trust in chariots and horses. Many of us, we profess to know the truth yet in action we fail many times. We tend to put our trust on our chariots and horses. We tend to put our trust on the swords we carry for the battle. Actually the sword doesn't guarantee you the victory, but it depends on how skillful you are in handling swords and weapons. We may think that the world gives us perfect security and we put our trust in the things of the world such as money, properties, bank balance, position and power. But when the economy comes tumbling down, we are like sheep's without its master, running here and there without a clear purpose. Victory is from the Lord. The Lord gives victory to everyone who believes in Him and not on their swords, horses and chariots.

But we will remember the name of the Lord our God. They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
