A concerned heart...!

Nehemiah 1:3-4 NKJV

And they said to me, “The survivors who are left from the captivity in the province are there in great distress and reproach. The wall of Jerusalem is also broken down, and its gates are burned with fire.” So it was, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned for  many days; I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven.

******
Shalom! Day #151. Do you know that a ministry is birth from a concerned heart that's want to make a change or difference? Let's pray. Father, we pray today that let us to have  concerned heart over the things that's happening around us, concerned for our family, community, villages, town, states and our country and let it moves ou4 heart to do something about it. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

A concerned heart is just not enough. Ministry is birth from a concerned heart which follows by an action to bring a change and an impact in a life, family, community, villages, town, states and our country. In this passage we read about how Nehemiah reacted to what he has heard. The first thing a concerned heart does is to get info or to ask about the current situation or the conditions of a certain particular topic. In Nehemiah's case was Jerusalem. So Nehemiah asked and they answered him “The survivors who are left from the captivity in the province are there in great distress and reproach. The wall of Jerusalem is also broken down, and its gates are burned with fire.” Nehemiah ASKED them about the condition of Jerusalem. Why? Because he was concerned about the people there so the first action out of a concerned heart is to ask or get the info.

This was the turning point in Nehemiah's life. His ministry started with a concerned heart that produces an action. Then it goes on saying in that verse " So it was, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned for  many days; I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven." A concerned heart must start to pray. Only through fasting and prayer can breakthrough every strongholds. Only prayer can penetrate into the spiritual realm and destroy every works of the evil ones. Nehemiah sat down and wept and he mourned for many days. It wasn't one or two days he wept or mourned but many days. He was filled with that extreme anguish in his heart and it made him to raise up to the challenge to make a difference. Anguish, extreme pain. Are you concerned about your surroundings? The place where you stay? Your family? Your village? Your community? Your life? Are we filled with that extreme pain that moves you to make a difference, to impart love and to impact lives, to touch lives and transform communities? Pray against the power and the principalities of the darkness. Pray and do something. Act now!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Amazing Grace. I'm Amazed At His Grace!

Ezra 9:9 NKJV

For we were slaves. Yet our God did not forsake us in our bondage; but He extended mercy to us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to revive us, to repair the house of our God, to rebuild its ruins, and to give us a wall in Judah and Jerusalem.

******
Shalom! Day #150. Do you know that even when you a being enslaved by sins and bondage, the Lord never ever let you go because He wants you? Let's pray. Father, we were slaves but now we are free it's because of the redemption paid full on the Cross. Nothing but Your precious blood. We thank You Lord for saving us. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

We were once enslaved and bondaged by the sins we have done, yet Christ came to search and rescue us. As I mentioned in my previous posts before, I have all the reason why I should not serve God - I was living a lie, living in sin, bondaged, the perfect sinner I should say, yet He came, He search, He rescued, He cleansed, He teaches He disciples and now here I am serving for 5 graceful and favor filled years. When the eyes of the Lord is upon you, hey you cannot run anywhere. No matter how deep you have fallen or how heavy your sins may be or how strong the bondage may be, He will never leave you until the redemption work is completely done on your life. He extended His mercy to us.

The favor of the Lord is upon YOU! The process of redemption - He handpicked you. He revive you from spiritual death. He repairs you. He redesigns you. He recreates you. He rebuilds you according to His blueprint pertaining you, your life. It's a time filled with excitement and joy with the Lord! For this to happen, 1st we must respond when God rescues us. Secondly, we must let go of the past. Do not hold on to it. Future happens when you are brave to dream and and let God to create it. Thirdly, allow the Holy Spirit of God to begins the cleansing, pruning, teaching process in our lives. Which one do you prefer? A free man or a slave? Freedom and perfect peace is only found in Christ alone. Nothing but His precious blood for the price of our redemption!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

He answered our prayer...!

Ezra 8:21, 23 NKJV

Then I proclaimed a fast there at the river of Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to seek from Him the right way for us and our little ones and all our possessions. So we fasted and entreated our God for this, and He answered our prayer.

******
Shalom! Day #149. Do you know that miracle happens when we humble ourselves and seek the countenance of God? Let's pray. Father we come before You today, as we humble ourselves and turn back to You, show us today the path and the way we need to take as we walk with You today. In Jesus namen we ask and pray, amen!

Fasting and prayer is the vital part of a Christian living. A prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian. When we fast and pray and seek the Lord, we mot just receive power, but we also receive His divine intervention in the things pertaining to our lives. During the fasting and prayer period, God reveals the things He Is doing and the things He is going to do in our lives and through our lives. But the saddest fact today is, the church of God is lacking in fasting and prayer. As I mentioned earlier, "a prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian, a prayerless church is a powerless church."

So we fasted and entreated our God for this, and He answered our prayer. What are you fasting and praying for? Do it with a purpose and make sure you receive something from God. There is a saying P.U.S.H => Pray Until Something Happens. Pray until God answers your prayer. What do you want to see happen on your life? Fast and Pray. And see God unleashes His plans for you. The secret for answered prayers is praying without ceasing. So START today!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

I was encouraged...!

Ezra 7:27-28 NKJV

Blessed be the Lord God of our fathers, who has put such  a  thing as this in the king’s heart, to beautify the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem, and has extended mercy to me before the king and his counselors, and before all the king’s mighty princes. So I was encouraged, as the hand of the Lord my God was upon me; and I gathered leading men of Israel to go up with me.

******
Shalom! Day #148. Do you know that when the Lord ask us to do something in His name, there will be always people who opposes the work and discourages the others who are involved as well? Let's pray. Father, strengthen us as we do Your work. Give us courage and boldness as we build Your kingdom. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

As we read the previous chapters of the book of Ezra, we would find out how the people opposed the work of the building of the temple of God as well as the walls of Jerusalem. But the hand of the Lord was upon His servants.

You when ever you try doing something good and there is always something bad happening, never ever give in to give up because there is something extraordinary good is ahead of you. Here Ezra says he was encouraged by what the Lord has done. When God wants to do to something in a nation, He will literally hand pick a person and baptized him or her with His heart bea, His passion, His zeal and He make sure that everything is supplied the person in order to make sure the work progress. Don't be surprised when the Lord opens a door where even the the officials may help you. Whatever i encounter such situation, I begin to push myself more intensely to see the work done and after that, wow, I would just witness His glory. Why? Because I did not give up although there was many things trying to discourage me and many opposition from every corner, I prevailed.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Sing. Praise. Shout...!

Ezra 3:11 NKJV

And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the Lord : “For He  is good, For His mercy endures forever toward Israel.” Then all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the Lord , because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid.

******
Shalom! Day #147. Do you know that the Lord's goodness and His mercies endures forever for those who trust in Him? Let's pray. Father, thank You for Your grace and Your mercy and for Your goodness in our lives. As long as we live, we want to shout of Your praises and make Your name known for Your goodness and Your mercies endures forever. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

What do you when you are in the midst of troubles and problems? Are we just praising God when all things going on smoothly without any troubles and problems or even in difficult situation we are able to trust in God and joyfully shout of His praises? There is a song by Don Moen and the lyrics goes like this " I will sing, yes, I will praise, even in my darkest hour Through the sorrow and the pain I will sing, I will praise, lift my hands to honor You Because Your word is true, I will sing." Those who trust and hold on to God no matter what the situation is, will with all their hearts give thanks and praise the Lord! Why? It's simply because they know the truth of the Word of God.

In this very verse above we read that " Then all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the Lord." This are the people who returned from captivity. And of cause the have lost everything. Even in such situation, they are able to not just sing and praise but they shouted greatly. The shouts of victory! Are we singing and praising of His goodness and SHOUTING GREATLY THE SHOUTS OF VICTORY? The wall of Jericho fell when the people shouted. When you sing, praise and shout it will bring down any kind of walls, any kind of obstacles. This is the power of praise and worship. So what do you do when you encounter difficult times? SING, PRAISE AND SHOUT!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

But the Lord is with us...!

II Chronicles 32:7-8 NKJV

“Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid nor dismayed before the king of Assyria, nor before all the multitude that is with him; for there  are more with us than with him. With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God, to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people were strengthened by the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

******
Shalom! Day #146. Do you know we have to 've constantly reminded that the Lord is always with us? Let's pray. Father, we come before You today help us Holy Spirit to affirm our hearts knowing the truth that the Lord God Is always with us, yesterday, today and forever. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

We always forget that the Lord is 24/7 with us. His promised us, "I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU, NOR FORSAKE YOU." We always forget this one truth! When troubles come shakes us a little bit, we began to tremble and we forget that the Lord is present there and we began to run here and there to seek for help. But again, we FORGET where is Jesus. He is just right beside us. Here in this verse Hezekiah is reminding his people not the afraid of the king of Assyria. Hezekiah realize the presence of God and the power of God. The presence of God, brings the power of God!

Hezekiah realizes that his battle wasn't with flesh and blood but with the power and principalities of darkness. Hezekiah said "for there  are more with us than with him. With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God, to help us and to fight our battles." Hezekiah acknowledges that the battle belongs to the Lord. And when he begin to explain It to them, the people begin to realize it and they were strengthen by the words od Hezekiah! If we realize that the presence of God is with us, therefore His power is also with us and we are sensitive to listen to His voice always, 24/7, to listen to His promises, His affirming living words, therefore you will never be shaken because you realize GOD IS WITH YOU! If my God is with me, who can be against me?

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

What is left is this great abundance...!

II Chronicles 31:5, 9-10, 21 NKJV

As soon as the commandment was circulated, the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits of grain and wine, oil and honey, and of all the produce of the field; and they brought in abundantly the tithe of everything. Then Hezekiah questioned the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps. And Azariah the chief priest, from the house of Zadok, answered him and said, “Since the  people began to bring the offerings into the house of the Lord , we have had enough to eat and have plenty left, for the Lord has blessed His people; and what is left is this great abundance.” And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, in the law and in the commandment, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart. So he prospered.

******
Shalom! Day #145. Do you know that blessings begin to flow when we give back to God our first fruits? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for robbing you all this while in neglecting to bring our tithes and offerings before You. We repent. Lord, we pray that You would give us a new heart, a heart that give cheerfully. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Blessings begins to flow when we begin to give cheerfully. Why there is always lack in our finances no matter how much money we earn? The reason is we are not bringing our first fruits to God. God says that the the tithes is His. IT BELONGS TO HIM. So if we hold back from returning it back to God, it means we are robbing God. And robbing is a sin! There is a concept known as sow and reap. What you sow, you shall reap back. Many of us are Jimmy. Give me give me my name is Jimmy. We want blessing, but we are not ready to give, not ready to sacrifice. The verse we read says " the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits." Wow... in abundance! Joyfully they gave!

The bible says in :

Luke 6:38 NKJV

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

II Corinthians 9:6-8 NKJV

But this I  say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So  let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

You have to give first, then it will be given to you. You have to sow the seed first then you are able to reap the harvest. There will be enough and plentiful for you when God begins to bless you because you gave, because you've sowed. A cheerful giver is not calculative in giving. No matter what you receive, learn to give. Are we giving our tithes monthly? Only God knows. Give what you have, and God will make sure you shall not be in lack in anything.

Single heart. Single mind...!

II Chronicles 30:12 NKJV

Also the hand of God was on Judah to give them singleness of heart to obey the command of the king and the leaders, at the word of the Lord .

******
Shalom! Day #144. Do you know that God requires us to be single hearted and single minded in serving Him? Let's pray. Father, with single heart and single mind we want to serve you. Help us be committed towards the commitment we have pledge to serve you. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

I start of today from this verse in Philippians 1:21 NKJV For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. Here we can see what was apostle Paul's aim for ministry and living. Single hearted and single minded. Even it's written that double minded will never prosper. Paul knows what he needs to do. He knows and understands very well the call of God in his life.

Paul was a man with a purpose to fulfill and his purpose was "FOR ME TO LIVE IS CHRIST." What is you focus today? Where is your focus today? A single hearted and a single minded person.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The Lord has chosen you...!

2 Chronicles 29:11 NKJV

My sons, do not be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand before Him, to serve Him, and that you should minister to Him and burn incense."

******
Shalom! Day #143. Do you know that it's a privilege stand before the Lord and to serve Him? Let's pray. Father, we want to give You praises and thanks for faithfully being with us throughout this years of ministry. Indeed it's a privilege to serve You and thank You for this opportunity You gave us. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations. Do not say, "I am a youth." For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

I count it as an extraordinary privilege to serve the Lord. A golden opportunity. Jesus said "for many are called, but few are chosen." I'm glad to be amongst the chosen one. As a matter of fact, I'm not even qualified to serve Him. I don't have masters degree in theology studies. I'm not from a pastoral family background. My life was a mess. The world rejected me. I was full of sin. I had all the reasons why am I not qualified to serve, but despite all this God chooses me, cleansed me, teaches me, guides me, lifted me and made me to be His chosen vessel to tell about His love and His glory. The world rejected, but Jesus accepted! Today I am who I am because of the decision I made 5 years back, at my office cubicle, 23.5.2008 was the day I say "I will serve You." And today, looking back at the 5 graceful years, I thank God that I made the right decision to step into my destiny to reach my destination that God has prepared. Am I there yet? No, I am not, but God is bringing me one step closer to my destination.

I paid a high price for my  calling. The sacrifices I made sometimes it doesn't even make a sense, but now it does make sense and now I see how God has orchestrated it to be. Five graceful year.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

God made him prosper...!

II Chronicles 26:5 NKJV

He sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God; and as long as he sought the Lord , God made him prosper.

******
Shalom! Day #142. Do you know that you will prosper in all things you do when God Is involved in the things you do? Let's pray. Father, we welcome you to be involved into he works we do in Your name as we seek Your counsel first before we do anything. Bless our works and let it bear fruits. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

I start of from this verse in Matthew 6:33 NKJV But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Jesus says SEEK FIRST! I paraphrase it to this, BEFORE EVEN YOU START TO DO ANYTHING, SEEK THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS. When you do this God will not just prosper your works but He shows you how to make it happen or how to do it or how to handle certain situations. He gives you the extra strength you need. He equips you. He enables you. Seeking the kingdom of God means seeking the truth of God means the kingdom of God is all about the Truth of God. Divine Revelations, wisdom, knowledge and understanding. As we seek God first, putting Him as our first priority before we do anything will give us or enable us to do the things or the works according to His ways.

One key to prosper is found in our key verse which is " as long as he sought the Lord , God made him prosper." As long as our eyes focused on the Lord, as long as we seek the lord, He makes sure you prosper. Seek the Lord 1st, then every other things shall be added unto you.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The Lord is able...!

II Chronicles 25:9 NKJV

Then Amaziah said to the man of God, “But what shall  we do about the hundred talents which I have given to the troops of Israel?” And the man of God answered, “The Lord is able to give you much more than this.”

******
Shalom! Day #141. Do you know that the Lord makes you able and He is able? Let's pray. Father, as we come before You, make us able to be according to what you have purposed for us to be. Lord, You are able to do it. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The Lord is able to make you to be according to His plans and His purposes. Are you today being made able by God? David was made able by God to fight against goliath. How do you know that God is making you to be who He wants you to be? Genesis 45:8 NKJV So now it  was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt. Joseph says here confidently that GOD MADE ME. The divine abilities of God will give you the divine capabilities to be as how He wants you to be. The Lord is able to give you more than what you are able to receive.

Now the Lord is able to make you. The Lord is able to make you able to step into the destiny that He has for you to reach the destination. When you're unable, He makes you able. Able to do the things He has for you. Able to fight the goliaths in your life. Able to unleash the power of God. Able to be as how He want you to be. The divine power of God works in us and through us to make us able to be the man and woman of God which He has purposed.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Do not fear, but have FAITH...!

II Chronicles 20:3, 15, 17 NKJV

And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord , and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord , who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord  is with you.”

******
Shalom! Day #140. Do you know that the first thing to do when fear strikes you is to run to God in prayer? Let's pray. Father, we know when we run to You, You are there always to carry us by Your arms and be soothe by Your protection and Your joy and Your peace. Thank You Jesus. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

You know, fear always cripples us from embarking and embracing the plans and purposes of God. Because of fear we limit ourselves. But Jehoshaphat he knew what to do. When fear strikes him, he set his heart and himself to seek the Lord. This is the first thing he did. Fear is the opposite of FAITH. Fear shouldn't be a factor in our lives. Faith should be a factor! Jehoshaphat knows that if he run to God when fear strikes, God is able to delivers him. Fear is a weapon the enemy has, to strike and crippled many believers from stepping in the plans and purposes of God. Even when we encounter problems, difficult situations, fear is activated to motivate us to fear, but if we, in the midst of problem and difficult situation seek God first, then you will see the salvation plan of God to save and rescue you from that problem or bad situation. You have a destiny and a destination to reach. Step in now! Let not fear crippled you! Let faith arise. Let faith Grow!

You know when you seek the counsel of God when fear strikes in via problems, difficult situation, people are trying to harm you or whatever it may be, God will intervene and fight the battle for you and deliver you and that's why God says YOU ARE MORE THAN A CONQUEROR because you have the most powerful weapon which is the power of prayer and worship! Seek the Lord and He will speak to you. He will tell you what He is doing now and what He is going to do for you, in your life therefore prepare yourself and get ready to move when God speaks to you.

Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord , who is with you, O ______ (put your name in the blank)!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord  is with you. Amen! Again, let not fear crippled you from stepping into your destiny to reach your destination...!

Prepare your heart to seek the Lord...!

II Chronicles 19:3 NKJV

Nevertheless good things are found in you, in that you have removed the wooden images from the land, and have prepared your heart to seek God.”

******
Shalom! Day #139. Do you know that when you have turn from your wicked ways and prepares your heart to wholly seek the Lord, the  wrath of Lord upon you will subside? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for the sins we have committed. We repent of our wicked ways and want to seek You wholeheartedly. Let Your grace and Your mercy be upon us this day. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Nevertheless good things are found in you. No matter how evil and wicked a person may be, there is still something good in them that would be a key for them to open up their hearts and repent. The Lord looks into the heart of a person, his intentions, his attitudes. Remove every wooden images that's been a hindrance in our life. Remove, totally destroy every idols from our lives, let's turn away from our wicked ways, our sinful ways and come to the Lord, for there is still something good remain in us that's valuable to God.

How? Only one way. Now prepare our hearts to seek the Lord. With all our hearts, with all our mind, with all our soul. SEEKING the Lord with all our hearts is the only way God can take the good in us and use it for His glory. The world rejects, but Jesus accepts! It's not and it's never too late to make a decision that's going to change your lives!

Let not your hands be weak...!

II Chronicles 15:7 NKJV

But you, be strong and do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded!”

******
Shalom! Day #138. Do you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain? Let's pray. Father, we thank You for the reward that's been stored for us. Bless this day as we continue to serve You today. On Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Be strong and do not let your hands be weak! Wow! When we are weak we aren't able to do anything because there isn't any physical strength in us. We would like to to lay aside on the couch and relax. This is for those who are weak or in other words may be sick or not well. But at the same time people who are healthy allowing themselves be weak for one reason, because they are just too lazy to do something. If you want money, you work for it. Same goes to ministry. If you serve the Lord well, you shall get your reward. As we read in Proverbs 6:6-11 NKJV Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, Which, having no captain, Overseer or ruler, Provides her supplies in the summer, And gathers her food in the harvest. How long will you slumber, O sluggard? When will you rise from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to sleep— So shall your poverty come on you like a prowler, And your need like an armed man. It's a strong word here "SLUGGARD." It literally means a lazy person. People always pray for blessing, prosperity, it's not wrong, but if you aren't doing anything to achieve it then just dream on.

I Corinthians 15:58 NKJV Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

No I am not giving any points here of how to be rewarded. One thing I would like to say is, if we are lazy we don't get rewarded. It's the same at our working place. We perform our job with a diligent heart, promotion is just around the corner. The only key to unlock the rewards of God is ALWAYS ABOUNDING IN THE WORK OF THE LORD! There is another verse in Romans 12:11 NKJV not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; Serve the Lord with a fervent spirit knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

And we have not forsaken Him...!

II Chronicles 13:10, 12 NKJV

But as for us, the Lord  is our God, and we have not forsaken Him; and the priests who minister to the Lord  are the sons of Aaron, and the Levites attend to their duties. Now look, God Himself is with us as our  head, and His priests with sounding trumpets to sound the alarm against you. O children of Israel, do not fight against the Lord God of your fathers, for you shall not prosper!”

******
Shalom! Day #137. Do you know that without God, we cannot function properly? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for forsaking You at times and have gone on our ways. Lord we come to You today, let our hearts be changed, renewed. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Our God is a promise keeper. He said that He will never leave us nor forsake us, but we always leave Him and forsake Him. Looking back to the verse today, without God we are nothing and we cannot do anything, even we try to do, but it will never prosper. The moment pride comes in, we begin to forsake God. RED ALERT!!! DANGEROUS ZONE!!! Pride is the beginning of destruction. Humbleness is the beginning of healing and restoration. Forsaking God means, drifting away from His truth, His presence, His love, His guidance and everything. When forsake God, we lost our focus. We may seem to be doing many things but without purpose, we are heading no where.

Now look, God Himself is with us as our  head. Jesus is our Captain. He is with us no matter how bad we are or how sinful we are. He will never break His promises. He is the Captain that holds the steering wheel of our lives. Bind ourselves to the will of God and to the ways of God. Obey Him. Pride brings strive. Strive brings rebellion and then disobedience. When God is with us, He is for us. If we fight against God, we will never prosper. Apart of God we are nothing. Humbleness is the key to success. Remain humble in the Lord, before the Lord. You can be low profiled, but His works must be known to all. And we have not forsaken Him...remain humble and faithful and stand strong!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Healing and restoration begins from a humbled heart...!

II Chronicles 7:14, 16 NKJV

if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.

******
Shalom! Day #136. Do you know that beginning of healing and restoration is  humble heart before the Lord? Let's pray. Father, give us wisdom and understanding today as we study Your word. Teach us today to be a humble servant pleasing unto You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

God requires a humble heart first, then you pray and seek His face and turn from their wicked ways. God listens to the prayers of a humble heart. Why God did not listen to what Satan says is because his heart was full and filled with pride and arrogance. A person who humble himself before the Lord and acknowledges his sins and pray and seek His face and turn from his wicked ways are forgiven. Healing and restoration begin with a humble heart before the Lord.

Matthew 23:12 NKJV And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.

God lifts up and exalts a humble person. Some people are prideful. They think they have a good voice or even skilled in music or preaching, they are puffed up with their nose lift up high. It's not wrong to boast in the Lord, but it is wrong when pride takes over and you boast wrongly. We should understand one thing, that whatever we have is a gift and a blessing from God. He gives it to us willingly. Don't you ever think if you are not there then the whole ministry is collapsed. Pride goes before destruction.

For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually. God honors and respects a humbled heart. God chooses a humble heart person, cleanse him thoroughly, sanctifies that person and come and abides in them not for one day or one week, but forever. A person can recognize the difference in you when they see the glory of God Is upon you. No matter how high God takes you to, remain humble. Success happens when you know the first rule, to remain humble. New doors of opportunities are opened when you remain humble and do the things you are called to do! A GENERATION IS HEALED AND RESTORED WHEN THEY HUMBLE THEMSELVES BEFORE THE LORD, PRAY AND SEEK GOD AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS AND REPENT!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The glory of the Lord filled the house of God...!

II Chronicles 5:13-14 NKJV

indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord , and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord , saying: “For He is good, For His mercy endures forever,” that the house, the house of the Lord , was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.

******
Shalom! Day #135. Do you know that when His people are one, united in one heart, one mind, can bring down the glory of God in that place? Let's pray. Father, unite Your people although they are different in race, tongue, and tribe, Your love bonds them together to be one. Your people are united together for one purpose. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

When the people of God united together just for one purpose, without looking at skin color, rich or poor, educated or uneducated, just for one purpose and one focus to praise and worship the Lord God, oh the presence of God, the glory of God would just flood that place of worship! Even if there were to be time of preaching, when the Spirit of God takes over, there will be singing and dancing and rejoicing time, because the joyful presence and glory of God is there and His people are touch and ministered in His infinite presence! No preaching will be there, only a time of rejoicing and ministering.

When they lift their voice and begin to praise the Lord with musics and dancing in one accord, the house of the Lord was filled with cloud. The priest could not even continue to minister because the weight of the glory of God was so heavy and the people was ministered in His presence. When you sincerely, with all your heart and soul worship the Lord in spirit and in truth, you will witness miracles happening around you, in you and through you. That's the power of worship! Be an extraordinary worshipper! Be a history maker through worship! Today, worship the Lord like you never worship Him before! Then you would see His times of refreshing, miracles taking place! The power of one, when His people are united together as one, great and mighty thing will take place!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Uprightness of our heart...!

I Chronicles 29:3, 9, 17 NKJV

Moreover, because I have set my affection on the house of my God, I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house, my own special treasure of gold and silver: Then the people rejoiced, for they had offered willingly, because with a loyal heart they had offered willingly to the Lord ; and King David also rejoiced greatly. I know also, my God, that You test the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things; and now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here to offer willingly to You.

******
Shalom! Day #134. Do you that the Bible says that the zeal or the love or the affection for the house of God will consume us? Let's pray. Father, let the zeal or the love for Your house to grow stronger and deeper so that we would willingly serve You, willingly give to Your work, willingly build Your kingdom. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Because I have set my affection on the house of my God, I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house. Has the affection or the zeal for the house of God has consumed you into giving yourself totally to the works of God? Today, if you want God to use you, you must recognize the talent which God had given to us and what are we doing with the talent? Are we giving to God willingly our time, our talents, our money, our lives? The affection and the zeal of God which is in us is for a reason. What are we doing about it? David gave his very best for the building of the house of God with a loyal and willing heart and as he gave, his people rejoiced and they as well offered willingly to the Lord. Are we diligently offering our lives to the building of the house of God? I'm not talking just on our tithes and offerings we give every weekends or monthly but I'm talking about every that the Lord has given us, what are we doing with it? Are we honoring God with it?

The next thing is, the Lord test our hearts and take pleasure in uprightness. What is the condition of our heart in giving to the Lord? Either in our tithes and offerings, or our time, our energy, our service, how is the attitude of our heart towards it? Are we sincere in giving? Are we sincere in serving? Are we sincere towards the things of God? I'm not giving 1 till 3 point of how to set your heart right or how can we have good heart attitude and so on. The only thing I want to point out here is, CHANGE the way we think, CHANGE the way we live, then MAKE A DIFFERENCE! King David is a good example. He leads by example. He gave joyfully, and his people seeing what he did, they too offered to the Lord rejoicingly.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

A loyal heart and with a willing mind...!

I Chronicles 28:9-10 NKJV

“As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever. Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary; be strong, and do it.”

******
Shalom! Day #133. Do you know that the Lord knows the motive you are serving Him? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for our wrong motives in serving You. We want to glorify Your name alone. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

In this verse we read, David is instructing Solomon to serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind. How loyal and willing are we in serving God? Being loyal means no turning back, not having another person. Or for example, if you are married then you are to be loyal to your spouses. We are to be loyal to God alone and not looking for other easy ways to get our needs answered. For example, seeking witch doctors help, worship of spirits and so on. Being loyal to God means, clinging on to the one true LIVING GOD, and not other so called "gods." Willingness in serving. Do you know that the Lord willingly gave Himself for the redemption of our sins? He did not force Himself to do so, but He was destined for that purpose and He did it willingly. Are we willingly serving God today or we need people to drag our legs to serve God today? Have a willingness and readiness heart to serve Him at anytime of the day and any cost that you have to pay!

For the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. Make sure we are serving God with a good and right motive, not seeking ones glory but glorifying Him in every act of our services towards God and His people. Let us not have a bad intention in serving God. For the Lord has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary; be strong, and do it. Therefore serve Him with a right mind and attitude.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Arise and build...!

I Chronicles 22:19 NKJV

Now set your heart and your soul to seek the Lord your God. Therefore arise and build the sanctuary of the Lord God, to bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord and the holy articles of God into the house that is to be built for the name of the Lord .”

******
Shalom! Day #132. Do you know that the bible says that we are the sanctuary or the temple of the Holy Spirit, and that the Holy Spirit himself dwells in us? Let's pray. Father, we want to set our eyes only to seek You. Our hearts and soul longs for You. Let Your presence be filled in this sanctuary forever and never depart. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Now, oh the Lord says NOW! Now is the time for you and I to evaluate the sanctuary of God within us. NOW is the time for us to rebuild again the temple of God. NOW is the time to set our eyes, our heart and our soul to seek the Lord our God. NOW is the time of our life to see miracles and to maker history in this generation. NOW is the time to fulfil our destiny, our calling. Therefore ARISE and BUILD the sanctuary of the Lord God! It begins from us and to the nations. The bible says that we are the sanctuary or the temple of the Holy Spirit, and that the Holy Spirit himself dwells in us. What is the condition of the spiritual sanctuary today? Are we daily taking good care of the sanctuary? Are we daily allowing Holy Spirit to do a cleaning work in us? We are to arise and build. As we commit to arise and build, the Holy Spirit prunes, cleans, motivates us to grow. The word " to build" is an ongoing process whereby spiritual growth takes place in each individuals life. To ARISE is the first step we are to take to build His sanctuary. It involves every individual. Now, CHANGE only happen when every individual, arise to build and allows the Holy Spirit work in us from inside out.

NOW! Now, let us come back to God and begin the rebuilding process. Now is a crucial time. This generation MUST RETURN back to God. If every individual begin to arise and rebuild His sanctuary, God will begin to build this generation, a generation of history makers, a generation that's wholly set apart for God. We must work together to build the sanctuary of God in us. We cannot falter now. We MUST bring back the ark of the covenant of God, the presence of God into this generation, into this sanctuary once again! Are you ready for greatest move of the Lord our God in this generation? History happens when the Spirit of God is upon us. Then we must arise and shine forth His glory. Then we must proclaim the Word of the lord to every being. Then when we do this, there will be hindrances and attacks, but His people prevailed only by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony the works of the devil is defeated and the power of darkness is destroyed. And finally, we are able to do this not because of our power nor might but by the Spirit of God, therefore we are to lift up our sacrifices of praise and thanks giving to the Lord everyday of our life! It's better to give thanks and praise the Lord rather than complaining always!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Building the altar...!

I Chronicles 21:26 NKJV

And David built there an altar to the Lord , and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called on the Lord ; and He answered him from heaven by fire on the altar of burnt offering.

******
Shalom! Day #131. Do you know that our personal altar is on shattered condition? Let's pray. Father, renew us from inside out as we daily come before Your altar surrendering our lives, our hearts, our ministry, our family and everything we do. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Almost every messengers and prophets of God they built an altar for God. They built an altar either for sin offerings, or peace offerings, or thanksgiving, or to inquire something from the Lord. Are we building an altar for the Lord today? No I'm not asking us to build a physical altar, but our spiritual altar. In old testament, an altar is a place of prayer or worship. It is a contact place with the spiritual world. The foundation for a successful Christian life and ministry is rooted in the altar of prayer. Again the question here is, are we building our personal altar or how is the condition of our altar?

A Christian living is interconnected with prayer. A prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian. Are we daily building an altar of prayer and worship for the Lord? Altar is a place of communication. We bring our sacrifices of burnt offerings, grain offerings and so on, before the Lord to inquire a word from God, again you see prayer is a two way communication. The spiritual altar. What is it? The bible says we are the living sacrifice, a sweet aroma unto God. As we bring our life before the spiritual altar and present it before God, allow God to burn us from Inside out. As He burns us, we produce a sweet aroma as written in II Corinthians 2:16 NKJV To the one we  are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things?

Let us daily build an altar of prayer and worship. Bring the sacrifices of praise and thanksgiving. If today your altar is begin to shake and not strong, now is the time for to rebuild it through prayer and worship. Let your life be the living sacrifice before the altar of God.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

I will establish...!

I Chronicles 17:13-14 NKJV

I will be his Father, and he shall be My son; and I will not take My mercy away from him, as I took it from him who was before you. And I will establish him in My house and in My kingdom forever; and his throne shall be established forever.” ’ ”

******
Shalom! Day #130. Do you know that the will of God and the promises of God is irrevocable? Let's pray. Father, we pray today let Your kingdom come and let Your will be done in our lives, ministry, family, and nation. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The prophecies, the promises of God, the plans of God concerning a person, or a ministry, or a generation, or a nation will come to past. Do not take it lightly of the prophecies of God concerning your life. When the Lord releases a word, it means it will be done with or without you. If you are willing to be involved in the plans of God, then avail yourself to Him. In due time ot shall come to past.

I will establish him says the Lord. It's a do or die situation you know. God did not say "may be I will establish him or let me see if I want to establish him." He says I WILL, it means it's double confirm He will do it!!! God cannot lie on His word. Your kingdom come, Your will be done. We will see this taking place. In order to see this take place, we must play our part as well. To bring transformation into our nation, first you must recognize God's calling in your life. Then live as a priest ( 1 Peter 2:9). A priest prays always. A priest prays with the word of God, with the prophecies of God. A prayerless priest doesn't have any effective power and authority. As you do the spiritual things, GOD will do the supernatural things. Before we can be a priest, we must learn how to be a priest. The way we speak, our attitudes, our lifestyle. CHANGE happens from us, from inside out, when you start to intercede for your family, ministries, your life and nation. And you shall see the establishment of His word and promises and prophecies coming to past.

Seek Him more...!

I Chronicles 16:11 NKJV

Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face evermore!

******
Shalom! Day #129. Do you know that seeking the face of the Lord is what we need to do rather than seeking His hand always? Let's pray. Father, we want to see You face to face as we seek Your face let Your glory shine and be made known to all. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Deuteronomy 4:29 NKJV But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

Pardon me for saying this. There are 3 categories of believers.

1. Those who seek His hand
2. Those who "touch & go"
3. Those who really seeking Him.

Those who just seeking His hand will eventually betray Him. Why because when they already get what want, they will be out of radar. Which means they come to church just to be prayed over maybe for healing, financial problems and so on. And once their prayers are answered, that's it, you can't find them anymore in the church. I'm not judging, but that's the fact.

Those who touch and go are those who take Christianity as a duty and not relationship. Coming to church is like a duty for them. "Ok I go to church, I pray, I go back." There is no relationship with the Creator. There is no time where they seek the Lord with all their heart and with all their soul.

Seek His face evermore! Now, those who really seeking Him, it doesn't matter to them whether they are blessed or in bad conditions, full of problems and so on, they will still continue to seek the Lord no matter what happens. Their focus is His face, their victory is answered prayers, their goal is to make known of His salvation to all. Seriously, we need people like this.

SeekHimMore!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Faithful or Unfaithful...!

I Chronicles 10:13-14 NKJV

So Saul died for his unfaithfulness which he had committed against the Lord , because he did not keep the word of the Lord , and also because he consulted a medium for guidance. But he did not inquire of the Lord ; therefore He killed him, and turned the kingdom over to David the son of Jesse.

******
Shalom! Day #128. Do you know that your unfaithfulness before the Lord can cause you to loose everything you have? Let's pray. Father, we come before you today. Forgive us for being unfaithful in the little things which you have entrusted to us. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Our unfaithfulness in serving the Lord, unfaithfulness in obeying His commandments, unfaithfulness in following the Lord, unfaithfulness in giving, unfaithfulness in doing the things entrusted to us, those are just a few I was able to identify. There are many more. Unfaithfulness will cause us to loose everything we have. Saul died for his unfaithfulness which he had committed against the Lord. Unfaithful in following the Lord means while we follow God, we also worship idols or even consult spiritist or mediums for a quick answer or money. We may say we faithfully serving and following the Lord, but the fruits we produce does not reflects our faithfulness. Some people come to church, "faithfully" attending church services and every other weekdays meetings just because they have a need. And once God has answered they prayers, well they are out of radar. Are we like that today? Evaluate our faithfulness towards god today.

Remain faithful till your last breath. For example, When you faithfully give, you will be blessed. Unfaithfulness will make us to stumble and fall. For many are the potential ones, but they have gone to the way of unfaithfulness. Let us allow the Holy Spirit to search our hearts today. Lest us be found in unfaithfulness.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The Lord shall exalt you...!

II Kings 23:25 NKJV

Now before him there was no king like him, who turned to the Lord with all his heart, with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the Law of Moses; nor after him did any arise like him.

******
Shalom! Day #127. Do you know that the Lord exalts His chosen ones and make their name great? Let's pray. Father, as we humble before You and magnify Your name, we pray that Your servants would find favor in the sight of Your people, be the head and not the tail. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

In Joshua 4:14 NKJV  On that day the Lord  exalted Joshua in the sight of all Israel; and they feared him, as they had feared Moses, all the days of his life.

Now, the Lord exalts His chosen vessel in the sight of men. Two examples, there are more in the bible, but I take just 2. Josiah and Joshua. Josiah - there was no king like him, before and after. Why? Because he turned to the Lord with all his heart, with all his soul and with all his might. Josiah's birth was foretold even before he was born and the promises of God was established through him and in him. Josiah humbled himself before God. Josiah did the right thing by removing and destroying every Baal idols, every false prophets and cleanup the house of God. When you begin to magnify the name of the Lord, He will begin to exalt you over the nations.

Joshua, took over the next level of leadership from Moses and lead Israel into the promised land. The Lord was with him all the way. The Lord exalted Joshua in the sight of all Israel. Why? Because he followed the Lord in every step he took concerning the administration of Israel and her people. He did all the Lord commended him to do.

If your life is right before God and you abide yourself in the Lord, following Him wholeheartedly, obeying His commandments and doing what He has told you to do, well, your reward is near. Promotion comes from the Lord. You shall be the head and not the tail. People will begin to see the works you do, and exaltation and praises awaits you. But onething, remain humble before God because He cause it to happen for you.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The two secret...!

II Kings 20:3-6 NKJV

“Remember now, O Lord , I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what  was good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly. And it happened, before Isaiah had gone out into the middle court, that the word of the Lord came to him, saying, “Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the Lord , the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord . And I will add to your days fifteen years. I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for My own sake, and for the sake of My servant David.” ’ ”

******
Shalom! Day #126. Do you know that the Lord remembers every good works that you have done? Let's pray. Father, as it is written in Your word that our labor in doing Your works is not in vain but we would gain our rewards that You have prepared for us. Therefore help us to sincerely serve You not is focusing the reward but the Rewarder. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Hezekiah at the verge of dying yet he wants to continue to rule Israel. So he prayed, he wept bitterly. And the Lord heard his cries and prayers. And the Lord answers him " I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you." Not only that, God prolonged his life for another 15 years to lead His people. He protected Hezekiah from the attacks of the enemy and God defended the city!!! Wow! Prayers can do Wonders!

Now there are 2 reasons why God listened to Hezekiah's prayer and his cries. The 2 secrets. The secret of cries and tears and the secret of prayer.

1. Hezekiah prayed sincerely that he would be obedient, loyal and faithful to God the rest of his life.
⊙ are we praying such prayer today? Most of us entangled with the flow of this world where money and greed binds us. And as long as we are in the power we would do anything just to remain there. But not Hezekiah. His priority was to remain faithful, loyal and obedient to in doing the right thing and that's why God healed him and gave another 15 years for him to live. Prayer of a righteous man produces miracles!

2. Hezekiah wept earnestly before God.
⊙ Hezekiah wept bitterly before God. It shows the seriousness and the sincerity of his before God and towards the call of God. God counts every tears you shed. The bible says in psalms "those who labor in tears shall return with songs of praises." Are sincerely weeping before the Lord for the things which He had given to us? The responsibilities, the calling, the people, the nation?

Come on people there could be sad turn out of events, but God is still in control. We as a believer, continue hold fact to God and pray gore His divine intervention.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The work of the devil is to deceive us...!

II Kings 19:10-11, 16, 19 NKJV

“Thus you shall speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying: ‘Do not let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying, “Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.” Look! You have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands by utterly destroying them; and shall you be delivered? Incline Your ear, O Lord , and hear; open Your eyes, O Lord , and see; and hear the words of Sennacherib, which he has sent to reproach the living God. Now therefore, O Lord our God, I pray, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You are the Lord God, You alone.”

Shalom! Day #125. Do you know the devil is always trying his schemes to tempt and falter our faith in God by all his lies? Father, give us the strength to go through our lives to stand strong even in the midst of storm and raging seas that we may not heed to the lies of the devil but yield to Your voice and Your word. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The work of the devil is to deceive us. He has been actively involved in this business since the beginning of this world. Rabshakeh, Sennacherib's prophet, a deceiver, he is trying to deceive the prophets of God as well as Hezekiah. Even the midst of deceiving situation, inputs from false spirit, Hezekiah, remained strong and he prayed. When we go through the events of our lives, bad situations, hard situations, stormy situations, there will be always people who will try to break our faith. Their words would even make our faith to be shaken. They would even give this and that suggestions. Suggestions which lead us to make wrong decisions. But do we give in to it? Or we choose only to heed the voice of God and His word alone? Hezekiah choose to pray!

Pray! Pray! Pray! When you pray, oh when you sincerely pray, God hears and miracles happens. No matter how or what your situation is, make sure you make a decision to gain Christ in any circumstances. And you shall witness His extraordinary miracles!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Hold fast to the Lord...!

II Kings 18:6-7 NKJV

For he held fast to the Lord ; he did not depart from following Him, but kept His commandments, which the Lord had commanded Moses. The Lord  was with him; he prospered wherever he went. And he rebelled against the king of Assyria and did not serve him.

Shalom! Day #124. Do you know that when you hold on to God and nothing else matters, you will eventually witness His hand upon your life even when things are happening not as what you have planned?

I start with this verse from Philippians 3:8-11 NKJV Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.

Dear friends, few days back I've gone through a devastated moment. One hand the calling of God, the other hand a relationship that needs to be let go off. Finally, God spoke to me from this 2 verses. No matter what happens, hold on to your solid Rock. The world may let you down, but not Jesus. I began to say, Lord, into Your hands I commit again with all I am, for You Lord. Although Hezekiah had all the reason to depart from the Lord yet he did not. He choose to hold on to God no matter what happens. He chooses yo honor God by doing what is right and the Lord was with him and prospered him. As Paul says " I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him." What do you get when you gain the world and loss Jesus? Zero! But when you gain Jesus, you gain everything. The fact is I am nothing without Jesus and I am complete when  I in Him. That I my gain Christ!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Fear the Lord and be delivered...!

II Kings 17:36-39 NKJV

but the Lord , who brought you up from the land of Egypt with great power and an outstretched arm, Him you shall fear, Him you shall worship, and to Him you shall offer sacrifice. And the statutes, the ordinances, the law, and the commandment which He wrote for you, you shall be careful to observe forever; you shall not fear other gods. And the covenant that I have made with you, you shall not forget, nor shall you fear other gods. But the Lord your God you shall fear; and He will deliver you from the hand of all your enemies.”

******
Shalom! Day #123. Do you know that if you have followed the Lord wholeheartedly, you must fear the Lord as well? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for not respecting and honoring Your word and Your precepts. In Jesus name we pray, amen!

FEAR. This fear is not the kind of fear when you "see" a ghost or being chased by a dog or jumped over your chairs when you see a rat or cockroach. This fear is reverence and respect to God and another is fear of judgement for the sins we have committed or about to commit. We always misunderstood the concept of "fearing God." Fear in Hebrew word is YARE' which means to fear, to be afraid, to stand in awe, honor, respect. We stand in astonishment when the Lord brought us out from the darkness into His marvellous light. We respect and revere Him. If we say we fear God it means we must obey His word and His precepts. Whenever we think of doing something wrong, the fear of God will warn us of the consequences.

Respect and reverence towards God is the beginning of wisdom, I paraphrase it. The only way for God to deliver us from our enemies is that we acknowledge His great power, worship Him in respect, obey His laws and precepts, not bowing to other "gods", observe and do His commandments clearly.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Making it right...!

II Kings 12:2 NKJV

Jehoash did what  was right in the sight of the Lord all the days in which Jehoiada the priest instructed him.

******
Shalom! Day #122. Do you know that the most important thing in serving God is doing the right thing in thru sight of the Lord? Let's pray. Father, forgive us if we have done many wrong things in Your sight. We repent. Lord, help us to do the right thing send to make right decision in Your sight. In Jesus name we pray, amen!

We read in the bible, many of the kings, prophets, servants will choose to do the right thing in the sight of God. Are we doing the right thing before God? I admit, I fail many times. But I choose to be clean and to do the right thing before Him. God requires a person with a right heart attitude, right perspective, right motives in serving Him. Hezekiah, as soon as he was elected as a king, he reopened the house of God, cleaned and dedicated it once again. He did the right thing.

Take some time today to evaluate our life once again. Let us allow the Holy Spirit to put everything back to how it should be. Making it right!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Open up my eyes to see...!

II Kings 6:17 NKJV

And Elisha prayed, and said, “ Lord , I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord  opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

******
Shalom! Day #121. Do you know that most of the time we are blinded to the things God had prepared for us? Let's pray. Father, we pray that You would unveil our eyes to see the things which You have prepared for us. In Jesus name we pray, amen!

Most of the time we short sighted the better and extraordinary things which God has for us and we settled down for things which are so simple and adequate.

Psalms 119:18 NKJV
Open my eyes, that I may see Wondrous things from Your law.

Young man, open up your eyes to see your destiny which God has prepared. Do not settled for temporary things of this world. See the eternal things God has for you. See the wondrous things God has for you. His plans and purposes for you is for eternity and to prosper you. We normally want the best which we think the best for us, but always ended up in disappointment. When God healed the blind Bartimeaus, he began to see the plans of God for his life and he followed Jesus.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
