Sing. Praise. Shout...!

Ezra 3:11 NKJV

And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the Lord : “For He  is good, For His mercy endures forever toward Israel.” Then all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the Lord , because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid.

Shalom! Day #147. Do you know that the Lord's goodness and His mercies endures forever for those who trust in Him? Let's pray. Father, thank You for Your grace and Your mercy and for Your goodness in our lives. As long as we live, we want to shout of Your praises and make Your name known for Your goodness and Your mercies endures forever. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

What do you when you are in the midst of troubles and problems? Are we just praising God when all things going on smoothly without any troubles and problems or even in difficult situation we are able to trust in God and joyfully shout of His praises? There is a song by Don Moen and the lyrics goes like this " I will sing, yes, I will praise, even in my darkest hour Through the sorrow and the pain I will sing, I will praise, lift my hands to honor You Because Your word is true, I will sing." Those who trust and hold on to God no matter what the situation is, will with all their hearts give thanks and praise the Lord! Why? It's simply because they know the truth of the Word of God.

In this very verse above we read that " Then all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the Lord." This are the people who returned from captivity. And of cause the have lost everything. Even in such situation, they are able to not just sing and praise but they shouted greatly. The shouts of victory! Are we singing and praising of His goodness and SHOUTING GREATLY THE SHOUTS OF VICTORY? The wall of Jericho fell when the people shouted. When you sing, praise and shout it will bring down any kind of walls, any kind of obstacles. This is the power of praise and worship. So what do you do when you encounter difficult times? SING, PRAISE AND SHOUT!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
