Let not your hands be weak...!

II Chronicles 15:7 NKJV

But you, be strong and do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded!”

Shalom! Day #138. Do you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain? Let's pray. Father, we thank You for the reward that's been stored for us. Bless this day as we continue to serve You today. On Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Be strong and do not let your hands be weak! Wow! When we are weak we aren't able to do anything because there isn't any physical strength in us. We would like to to lay aside on the couch and relax. This is for those who are weak or in other words may be sick or not well. But at the same time people who are healthy allowing themselves be weak for one reason, because they are just too lazy to do something. If you want money, you work for it. Same goes to ministry. If you serve the Lord well, you shall get your reward. As we read in Proverbs 6:6-11 NKJV Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, Which, having no captain, Overseer or ruler, Provides her supplies in the summer, And gathers her food in the harvest. How long will you slumber, O sluggard? When will you rise from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to sleep— So shall your poverty come on you like a prowler, And your need like an armed man. It's a strong word here "SLUGGARD." It literally means a lazy person. People always pray for blessing, prosperity, it's not wrong, but if you aren't doing anything to achieve it then just dream on.

I Corinthians 15:58 NKJV Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

No I am not giving any points here of how to be rewarded. One thing I would like to say is, if we are lazy we don't get rewarded. It's the same at our working place. We perform our job with a diligent heart, promotion is just around the corner. The only key to unlock the rewards of God is ALWAYS ABOUNDING IN THE WORK OF THE LORD! There is another verse in Romans 12:11 NKJV not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; Serve the Lord with a fervent spirit knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
