Jezebel.... the false prophetess....!

Revelation 2:19-23, 25-26 NKJV

“I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first.  Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow  that woman  Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.  And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent.  Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds.  I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works. But hold fast what you have till I come.  And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations—

******
Shalom! Day #59. Do you know that God gives us second chance so that we would repent and be reconciled to God in Hi grace period? Let's pray. Father, we repent of following false prophets and also all their false teachings. Forgive us for our sins. Build us continually on Your word. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The Lord is saying today that "I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first." Again, allow me to remind you something,  that the Lord remembers every good work you've done. Despite all this good works, yet we are still listening to every words of the false teachers. Now, as I've mentioned in my previous posts, many false teachers and prophets are out there, beware and test every spirit. There are many wolf in sheep's clothing pretending to be the preacher of truth but then they are actually talking nonsense and preaching false doctrines.

In today's verse, we see Jezebel who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. God gave her time to repent, yet she did not. So what happens next? Well it's scary! God punishes not only Jezebel,  but also all those who have followed her. Which means, the judgment of God isn't only upon all those false preachers, prophets and so on but also to those who followed them, and if they repent before the grace period of God ends, they might as well have a second chance. I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works. But hold fast what you have till I come.  And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations.

So folks, once again I would like to warn you guy's, beware, be alert and test every spirit.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Get out of your traditional rituals...!

Revelation 2:14-17 NKJV

But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.  Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.  Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it. ” ’

******
Shalom! Day #58. Do you know that even though we're called and known as the believers of Christ Jesus, yet we still hold to our traditional ways, traditions, as well as seeking witch doctors and be involved in witchcraft? Let's pray. Father, we repent of our sins. Set us free from this bondage so that we may no longer given to things of traditional ways as well as seeking the witch doctors help and be involved in witchcraft. Have mercy upon us and heal us Lord,  set us free. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

As believers we are to leave every wicked and be baptized into Jesus Christ but being a believer, we still hold on to traditional ways of doing things. We still hold on to the traditional rituals when certain celebration comes. May be, before we are born again, we were pagans, believe in worshipping spirits and so on, but once we have repented, we still hold on to this kind of rituals. In today's verse again from the same chapter,  I stop at this chapter to see, read and understand what the Spirit is saying to the churches. The book is revelation, so we need revelation from God as we read this messages that's being sent to the 7 churches.

As I was reading this verse, the Holy Spirit begin to open up my mind to see what's the meaning of this verse. Indeed when it was revealed, I have to admit that knowingly or unknowingly we are still being bonded to all those traditional rituals. Christians, we must literally destroy the bridge after being a new born believer. If we are still practising our old ways, you know, instead going to Jesus in prayer we go to witch doctors for help. Instead of praying and claiming His words, we get involved in witchcraft. Jesus says, "Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth." Whoaaaa if we are still entangled with such things it means we are at war with God Himself for not obeying His commandments.  We are rebelling against God. I close by this verse.

Galatians 3:1-4 NKJV

O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified? This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh? Have you suffered so many things in vain—if indeed it  was in vain?

Be faithful till end...!

Revelation 2:9-10 NKJV

“I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.  Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

******
Shalom! Day #57. Do you know that the crown of life is given to those who are faithful until death? Let's pray. Father, give us a heart that's faithful and loyal to You and towards the calling by which we are called. Let us not falter when we are tested and suffer for the cause of beholding Your truth. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Again the Lord is saying that He knows what you are going through. He knows that people are persecuting the church. He knows that you're standing strong and fighting it. Even you have death threats, the Lord is saying, DO NOT FEAR ANY OF THOSE THINGS WHICH YOU ARE ABOUT TO SUFFER. Wow, what a revelation. Be not shaken, those things can't bring any harm to you if you believe in Him, but if you constantly fear of all this,  then the devil has planted the seed of fear in you. This will make you to falter, to be frighten, and even to the point of backsliding and renouncing of your faith. Every believers expecting a Christian walk of like a bed of roses,  they what greater things in their lives, they want blessing and so on yet there's no sacrifice. No, I'm not talking about it today. Well let focused back to today's verse.

As I was continuing my study on this chapter, the subtopic for this verse is "the persecuted church."  I have also read about many great real life stories of Christian martyr. They didn't deny their faith even to the point of death! Persecution did not just happened during the days of prophets and apostles,  but it is also actively happening in this age as well. Many churches in the eastern countries are being persecuted almost daily. Killing, slaughtering, beheading and many mose of such cases can be read via online. Believers are willing to give their lives for the price of their faith in Jesus. They choose not to deny Jesus. They choose to rather die than deny Jesus. Their faith cannot be purchased by silver or gold. Jesus said, "Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life" and they hold on to His word. His promises and words is true and is He says He will do, then He will do. Even if you are thrown into the prison, He knows how to take you out. Paul and Silas is an example of His miraculous help.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Remember from where you have fallen...!

Revelation 2:2-5 NKJV

“I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars;  and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary.  Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.  Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.

******
Shalom! Day #56. Do you know that although you seems to be doing a great job in serving God,  yet unknowingly you have left your first love? Let's pray. Father,  forgive us for leaving our first love and that we have fallen deep. We pray that You would revive and rekindle once again the first love in our hearts today. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen

The Lord knows whatever works you do, your labor, your patience and perseverance and all your fight against evil. Oh yes the Lord knows everything you do. But, when He inspects the things we do, He found that there's no love. We do it for the sake doing it and there's no the love of God in it. Please look into this matter. Let me tell you something as a servant of God. Many people want to serve, but the motive of their serving isn't from heart to God,  but for fame, name, and position, there's no love for God. Folks, when we have forgotten our first love for God, it's a matter of time for us to fall.

Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent. REMEMBER from where you have fallen! Oh yes, the moment we've neglect the love of God, we are entangled with the lust of the world, money, fame, name, popularity,  and they fall. From where you have fallen,  repent, rise up again, start back from zero, get close to God, build your relationship with God. Or else whatever you have will be taken away for eternity -unless you repent. Scary, yet this is the truth.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

There would be mockers in the last days...!

Jude 1:16-21 NKJV

These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit. But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

******
Shalom! Day #55. Do you know that there is a need in continuously building-up of your faith? Let's pray. Father, it doesn't matter what these are grumblers, complainers and mockers has to say, let not anything to shake our faith in You. Give us a steadfast faith,  a faith that's being build on a solid rock. Thank You, Lord for being there always for us. Continue to work in us Your good works Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray.

As you continue to grow in the Lord and as you advance in your faith in God,  there will be people who will ridicule you, grumble and complaints against you, there will be people who will make a mockery of you. They flatter people for their own advantage. Mouth filled with all negative words and even they will talk about your past whenever they don't know how to accuse you and find fault on you. Don't ever forget your worth. Spend time with those who value you. No matter how good you are to people, there will always be one negative person who criticizes you.

You know it doesn't matter what people has to say about you, but the bible say, But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. This things happens for a reason to shape your faith in God. To shape your spiritual life. To shape your attitude in handling such situations. Your actions depends on your attitude in how we handle those situations. Continue to grow in the faith and show love in everything you do.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

World overcomers....!

I John 5:4-5 NKJV

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

******
Shalom! Day #54. Do you know that your faith is able to overcome the world? Let's pray. Father,as we grow in You, let our faith be rooted deeper in You, so that through our faith in You, we will have our victory and overcome the world. In Jesus name we ask and pray,  amen!

Those who are born again, are new creations in God and whomever is born of God overcomes the world because the Spirit of the living God is in you. And this is the victory that has overcome the world. He who believes in the Lord will see the glory of God in His life. He who overcomes the world, is a person who believes in the Lord. Without faith in the Lord, you cannot do anything, for faith requires action. The Lord says that He who is you is greater than the one who is in the world. As I mentioned earlier in my previous post, you faith is more precious then gold or silver. You grow, when your faith grows. Your faith grows when you're tested in many ways. This test is to see how strong your faith is in the Lord.

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? You are sons and daughters of God. He has put His Spirit upon you so that you can overcome the world through Christ Jesus who strengthens you. Amen!

Give and you shall receive....!

I John 3:17-18 NKJV

But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

******
Shalom!  Day #53. Do you know that the reason God is blessing you is because you can be a blessing to others? Let's pray. Father, we thank You for the abundance of Your blessings in our lives. We pray give us a heart that would willingly bless others who are in need. Thank You Father. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

There is a reason why not everyone is serving God fulltime and why there are some who serve fulltime. The reason God is continually blessing you because He wants you to be a vessel or a channel of blessing to others. The reason God placed you at the market place so that you can give to the works of the ministry. In every ministry there's a need for finance in order to move around and to preach the gospel. Yet the servants of God don't go begging around, but they come to God in prayer and God is faithful and just, He called them and He will provide for them. The bible says when you sow the seed of giving towards the ministry or even into the lives of the people, it says in Luke 6:38 NKJV Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” This not just in giving you money or what, this is also talking about giving yourself to the works of ministry,  giving your time, your resources. When you give, God knows how's to bless you back abundantly.

If you say that you love God and your brethren, then let not it be just mere words, prove it. But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

Antichrist is already here.....!

I John 2:18-20, 27 NKJV

Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they  went  out  that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us. But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.

******
Shalom! Day #52. Do you know that everyday there's antichrist rising up? Let's pray. Father, help us to stand strong in the faith in this last hour and not be given to the works of antichrist. Today we declare that we believe in You with all our hearts and Jesus our Lord and Savior. in Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

I've been reading a lot about false teachers,  preaching false doctrines here and there,  in the facebook. Yet, they have quite a big number of believers. Recently, I read about a self-proclaimed bishop and he is charging SH1500 to check whether your name is in the book of life or not. Not only this, he has even conned many people through his devious schemes. Remember Jesus said, wolf in sheep's clothing,  well this fellow is one example. Antichrist is becoming very visible and active now, what are you going to do about it? Even in the mainstream music industry, many songs and even artists are performing antichrist rituals in their music videos and children nowadays are watching it and imitating it. Parents be more cautious of what you children's are watching. The spirit of antichrist is actively at work at the moment,  but hey do not lose heart, because the church is also actively involved in plundering hell and populating heaven!

As I was reading this portion of the scripture, there's a sudden urge in my spirit to wake up this generation to the reality of what's happening in the world and in our generation today. Without we realizing it, the spirit of antichrist is creeping into our generation. How do we go about in battling it and exposing it?

1. You have received the anointing....
⊙ But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. The anointing of God is upon you. He has anointed you to uproot and tear down every works of the devil and antichrist. The anointing of God upon you is so powerful that you can't contain it. The anointing of God has limitless of power when you realize it and move under the unction of the Holy Spirit.

2. The anointing of God is able to teach you.
⊙ But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. As you abide in the Lord, the anointing of God is able to teach you everything you need to know. The Anointing is the Holy Spirit of God Himself. And the Holy Spirit of God will teach you many things, reveal all the mysteries to you. You don't need false teachers and preachers to teach you and pollute your minds with false doctrines.

So folks, beware and be cautious. Be led by the Holy Spirit and not false doctrines and teachers.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

A dog that returns to his vomit...!

II Peter 2:20-22 NKJV

For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.”

******
Shalom! Day #51. Do you know that there are still people who have known the Lord,  who have escaped the world's pollution yet being entangled to it again and again? Let's pray. Father,  let us not depart from Your truth and Your ways. Even as we have escaped the pollutions of this world and all wicked ways, let us not be given into false teachings and doctrines. Give the spirit of discernment,  to be able to discern and identify false teachings and doctrines. Thank You Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

In the last days many will turn away from the absolute truth and the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ. They will twist and turn it for their own profit. They will manipulate the truth of the word of God. Although they have been saved, have escaped the worlds pollutions, yet they are being entangled again. Even believers are giving in to it. They once was in darkness,  then God saved and brought them to His marvelous light, then later after a while, they return back to darkness. Like a dog returns to his own vomit.

Those who are again entangled with this polluted and corrupted world, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. Yes, the latter effects upon their lives will be extremely worse than the beginning. Do not try to take the word of God for your own profit. So folks,  please don't take this verse likely.  I believe you can understand what the Lord is trying to tell us today. Once you are saved, then remain in Him, try not to take His grace for granted.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Be sure of your calling...!

II Peter 1:5-6, 10 NKJV

But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;

******
Shalom! Day #50. Do you know that you must be very sure of your calling? Let's pray. Father, we know that You have called us by name, and that You have set Your plans and purposes for us. Let us be diligent in faith as we serve You. In Jesus na,e we ask and pray, amen!

You must be very sure of your calling. You must be very sure of who called you and what you are called to do. Never step into anything if God hasn't call you or to do anything. If you are pretty sure that God has called you and He ask you to do something, then for sure He will supply everything that you need and He will lead you through. If you follow your flesh, for sure you will feel insecure and you will doubt of what you are doing. But you are sure of the Lord's calling, the be diligent in what you are called to do. Have an attitude of perseverance in everything you do and you go through. Be sober.... be vigilant...!

I Peter 5:8-11 NKJV

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.  To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

******
Shalom! Day #49. Do you know that the devil is looking for every opportunity he can have just to make you stumble and fall into sin? Let's pray. Father, give us an alert heart that knows every move of the devil. Let us not be negligent,  but be sober and be vigilant. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The devil is just waiting to make you stumble and fall. He's like the lion waiting for its prey. The only way you can resist the devil is be steadfast in the faith. The knows your weakness and he will attack you there. But hey, if your faith is rooted deep in Jesus, no devil can touch you because you cannot be shaken. But if you aren't strong, you can easily fall. The devil will attack the most precious thing belonging to you, your family, friends, children and so on, how are you going to counter attack him back?

1. Be steadfast in the faith.
⊙ you grow spiritually when your faith grows in Jesus. I'm not saying that you must allow the devil to test and tempt you. But before the devil attacks you, you attack him first. Before that, your faith must be rooted deep in Jesus. A heart that believes no matter what the situation is. A heart that's filled with the powerful word of God, your double edged SWORD. When you are filled with the Living and Powerful word of God, you can attack the devil back with the Living and Powerful Word of God. When Jesus was tempted by the devil, Jesus counter attacked the devil with the Living and Powerful word of God! Your faith must be rooted deeper in God and His word.

2. Be sure of who called you and why you are called.
⊙ But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. Your calling is from God and you're called to witness His everlasting eternal glory of God in your life and through your life. He who called you is faithful and will provide for you. The devil may attack at your source of income as you serve, do not be shaken, the Lord will provide.

Yeah, brothers and sisters, every believers are going through the same kind of problem in one way or another. Many stumble, and there's many as well standing strong in the Lord. Let His eternal glory shine upon you.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The beauty of your heart...!

I Peter 3:3-4 NKJV

Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— rather let  it  be  the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.

******
Shalom! Day #48. Do you know that your true beauty isn't on the outside but it's rather in the inside? Let's pray. Father, let not our service, our faith, our love, and everything we are  towards You be not from outwardly but let it be from inside out. Let us not think of our outward appearance but the conditions of our hearts. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

People say that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" but I say "beauty is in the heart of the beholder." We always trying to look beautiful and handsome on the outside but our inward beauty is left unadorned. On the outside looks good but in the inside is actually stinking and rotting. It doesn't matter how much make up you put, or how think or red your lipsticks may be, even you guys trying many Kpop hairstyles or trying to look good on the outside, it will still project out the filth of our hearts because we neglected our hearts and allowed rubbish into our hearts. A person true beauty is in the heart not outwardly. For many guys the first thing the look for in a girl is beauty then comes knowledge, heart and so on. Let me tell you something as a fellow believer. You are such a fool if you are going after a girl because she is beautiful and pretty. Outward beauty will never give you a lifelong guaranty.

Even the Lord rejected when prophet Samuel choses the next king in replacement for king Saul. You can read it in 1 Samuel 16:6-7 NKJV So it was, when they came, that he looked at Eliab and said, “Surely the Lord ’s anointed is before Him!” But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the  Lord  does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” The Lord doesn't see as a man sees. If you want to choose a life partner, look at thr character of his or her heart and not just outwardly.  If you are serving God, then serve Him not with your outward beauty but the beauty of your heart. Serve Him from inside out. God is not interested with your outward beauty, but He is a lot more interested with the beauty of your heart. Your heart, the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The testing of your faith...!

I Peter 1:6-9 NKJV

In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.

******
Shalom! Day #47. Do you know that when you are faoth is tested, you will result not in precious gold or silver but be found to praise, honor, and glory? Let's pray. Father, as we come to You, let us not falter when our faith is tested, but let our faith be strong and grow in You. In Jesus name we ask and pray,  amen!

Every believer will be tested in one way or another. Everyone will go through the refining process. Everyone's faith will be tested in fire. The question is how is your faith attitude when we go through the trials. Your faith is much more precious than gold and silver. Jesus is looking at the level and the attitude of your faith.

Your faith must be an instrument  that will be affecting others. In every refining time, your faith must be proven. When you are tested, you will not be as precious gold and silver,  but it shall speak of the glory, honor and praises of God. Yeah, try it, then you will see... If you want your Christian life exciting,  therefore let Your faith be tested and proven!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Submit to God and resist the devil...!

James 4:7 NKJV

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

******
Shalom! Day #46. Do you know that when you submit yourself totally to God, the devil isn't able to harm or touch you? Let's pray. Father, we humble ourselves and submit to You in total surrender that we may resist the devil and every devious plans plotted against us. Give us strength and power of the Holy Spirit to fight against every temptation, devious plans. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen.

To fight against every temptation and devious plans of the devil is to fully be submitted to God first. Then, when God empowers you, your will be able to resist the devil. The devil attacks not only those who are weak spiritually, but also those who are strong in the Lord.  Those who are weak spiritually is vulnerable to the attacks of the devil, so if they don't know the spiritual truth of God's word, they will easily fall into every temptation and devious plans of the devil.

The way is simple,  submit to God and resist the devil and the devil will flee from you. Flee means to run away, yeah the devil will literally run away from you. Submit to God means to surrender totally to His will, His plans, His authority,  His lordship, His commandments and to His ways. So, if today you are going through some kind of situation, submit to God and give no space to the devil, because the devil attacks you when you are less aware. He works by tempting you to do things that's not pleasing to God. So be alert every moment. Surrender to God totally and submit to His ways. Stand strong!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Guard your tongue...!

James 3:7-10 NKJV

For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind. But no man can tame the tongue. It  is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.

******
Shalom! Day #45. Do you know that though the tongue is small, yet it has power to speak life or death in every situations of our lives? Let's pray. Father, we pray let not our tongue speak death but let life proceeds from our mouth. Teach us to speak life. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Every kind of beast and bird, or reptiles and every creation of God is able to be tamed except for one, our human tongue. It has the power to release life or to bring death. It has the power to create heaven on earth or bring hell on earth. Well, today's word is important for us, being as a believer we must really deal with what comes out from our mouth. The words we speak can really hurt people. It's sad to say, but No, NO man can tame the tongue.

So...what can we do?

1. You must watch what you speak.
⊙ Words spoken harshly cannot be taken back, once it's out, it is out! God was very careful with His words when He created the universe and mankind. Stop being gossip mongers. Your words can kill a person.

2. Confess the word of God.
⊙ in every situation you go through, confess the word of God. If you are going through hard times, keep calm and confess he word of God instead of confessing negative words which brings death into the situation.

3. If you don't have anything good to say, then shut up...!
⊙ woaa... sorry, but I have to say this. Many people instead of solving the issue, they just throw their words without thinking about others feelings. If you don't have anything good to say, then remain silent. Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing.

So folks, please I beseech you to be mindful of what you speak.

Ephesians 4:29 NKJV

Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Stop practising partiality...!

James 2:2-4 NKJV

For if there should come into your assembly a man with gold rings, in fine apparel, and there should also come in a poor man in filthy clothes, and you pay attention to the one wearing the fine clothes and say to him, “You sit here in a good place,” and say to the poor man, “You stand there,” or, “Sit here at my footstool,” have you not shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?

******
Shalom! Day #44. Do you know that most believers are suck-ups? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for practising partiality. Help us to love, to see, to treat everyone equally as You have done for with You there's no partiality. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Many of us as a believer do practice partiality. Now don't be stunned as though you don't know what I'm saying here. When there's a well doing church member in the church, we tend to suck-up to them, be nice to them, do everything we can for them, giving them the 1st rows of seats and so on. I've been seeing this everywhere,  where the leaders itself don't talk much to those middle class congregation, just hi hi and bye bye, but when there's a well to do, or high class church members, they treat them special. So in today's word, God is reminding us about the attitude of our hearts.

I do not wish to continue to share, but the Spirit of God wants this message out. DO NOT BE A MAN PLEASER. The commandments Jesus laid in Luke 10:27, it wasn't meant to certain people. It neither say that love your rich congregation and hate your poor congregation nor love the rich and wealthy people and hate the poor and dirty people, but it say...LOVE YOU NEIGHBOURS, which means everyone without looking at skin color, race, religion and ethnicity. Secretly and unknowingly we are doing so, it's a sin friends we must repent. Not only in that, sometimes in the worship team, or in the church itself,  for example if in the worship team there's a good musician, we tend to hang out with them for popularity sake and those who not so good, we ditch them. Yeah, I'm speaking to you.... why are we practising partiality? We must repent, folks. This isn't good for a church as a body of Christ. As I said, I do not wish to address this matter or share about it, but Holy Spirit kept on putting this verse in my head, so I have to deliver what He has to say to the churches.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Count it all joy...!

James 1:2-3, 12-14 NKJV

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.

******
Shalom! Day #43. Do you know that there's joy in trials and testing if you have the kind of faith which produces patience? Let's pray. Father, let us not complaint or murmur when we fall into various trials and testings. But in every trials and testing we encounter, help us to grow and be a matured believer. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

What kind of attitude we have when we fall into various trials and testing? It determines your outcome of the trials and testing. I strongly believe that this year, there's going to be a lot of trials and testing. Your faith will be tested. Your faithfulness will be tested. Yet, in all this, today's verse teaches us to count it all joy when you fall into various trials and testing. Even this verse says "Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him." Wow... well I'm just a normal human being and when I go through trials and testing even being tempted, my mood will not be a joyful mood but instead grumpy, tensed, annoyed, angry and many other, as I said I'm just a normal human being as you are. But as I continue to study the living word of God, I begin to see and go through every trials and testing even temptations the way God see. My secret is simple.

1. It says in this verse, COUNT IT ALL JOY
⊙ the bible says in Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord. Again I will say, rejoice! Yes...this is the 1st secret. I must create a joyfilled atmosphere around me even I'm in the midst of the storm, create an atmosphere of joy and stay in it. Joy not as the world has to offer, but this true joy comes when you search it in the Lord, in the word of God. When in trials and testing even when tempted, we lose our peace and joy, but if you refocus back to God and His word, you shall receive true joy and peace.

2. Give thanks always.
⊙ in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 it says, "in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." It doesn't say that when you are happy, then give thanks or when you have millions of dollars then give thanks. In everything... IN EVERYTHING whether you are sick, sad, brokenhearted, bankrupt, happy, in the midst of the storm, in whatever situations you are, give thanks with a grateful heart, give thanks to the Holy One.

3. There is reward for those who remain faithful.
⊙ the bible say in the book of Revelation 2:10 NKJV Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. For example, take the life of Job, he lost everything he had,  yet he remained faithful  and got blessed him abundantly of everything he had lost. You may feel to turn left or to the right, to listen to this and that people, let me tell you something as a fellow believer. Keep your head up and continue to focus upon Jesus hold on to Him. Those who remain faithful till the end of all sufferings,  will be given the victors crown.

Now folks, you must understand onethings Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. So this is about it a few of the ways how to remain joyful even in the midst of storm.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The Lord disciplines those whom He loves...!

Hebrews 12:5-6, 28 NKJV

And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: “My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord , Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; For whom the Lord loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.” Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.

******
Shalom! Day #42. Do you know that God loves you so much and that He disciplines those whom He loves? Let's pray. Father, we thank You for Your love towards us. We know Lord that it's for our good that You discipline us. Give us a heart that would endure Your disciplines so that through this, the life and characters of Christ be formed in us. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

God disciplines and disciples us. In my previous sharings, I've shared how wild I was and it took God to tame me. No one was able to disciple and discipline me. But when God came into the picture of my life, everything began to change. He disciplines me and disciple me. Although it's painful yet it's gainful! Today's word speaks about God chastening or disciplining His elected ones, His loved ones. Those days when I was still schooling,  there was this disciplinary department and those who are naughty are sent to the discipline teacher for further action, but now, many parents are complaining this and that about teachers caning their children. I will for sure cane my children if they don't obey and naughty. For it is biblical and it's written in Proverbs 22:6 NKJV Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it. And in Proverbs 23:13-14 NKJV Do not withhold correction from a child, For if you beat him with a rod, he will not die. You shall beat him with a rod, And deliver his soul from hell. The disciplines of God delivers your soul from hell.

Personally, my life was formed to where I am now is because I allowed God to interfere and be involved in my life. So I begin to acknowledge His lordship over my life and be disciplined and discipled by Him. The Lord trained me and showed the way that I should go. The disciplines of God is good for your soul because you can see His grace in it and that you may fear and revere God. Everyone whom God receives, He scourges them. Therefore be willing to allow God to discipline and disciple you.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Draw closer to God...!

Hebrews 10:22-23 NKJV

let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

******
Shalom! Day #41. Do you know that true assurance of faith is found when you draw near to God? Let's pray. Father, as we draw close to You, let us draw with a true heart and true motives with full assurance of faith for we know You are faithful. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Let me tell you something as a servant of God. When you start to draw closer to God, you will begin to grow in the Lord bot in faith and your spiritual life. Your relationship with God becomes strong. The bond between you and God becomes strong and unshakeable! When you draw closer to God, it's not He who let's you go, but at times we are the ones who lose the grip of His hand.

Therefore folks, let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. The Lord remains faithful though we are not. You grow when your faith grows. Let not your hearts waver in trusting God for He is your only hope.

James 4:8 NKJV

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

The blood of Jesus Christ....!

Hebrews 9:13-15 NKJV

For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

******
Shalom! Day #40. Do you know that you were purchased and redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ for price of our sins? Let's pray. Father, we thank You for that precious blood of Jesus Christ for price of our sins. The precious blood of Jesus Christ sanctified us and cleansed from every sin. We commit our lives to You and help us to live for You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

No, you don't need the blood of the bull and goats or whatever kind of animal sacrifices for you sins to be forgiven, to be cleansed, to be saved and receive your salvation to have eternal life. The blood of Jesus Christ is enough for you and I. Jesus Christ is the perfect sacrifice for our imperfections. Today we take salvation for granted. We take His grace for granted. We called ourselves as believers, but most of the time we are crucifying Christ over and over again on the cross because we are constantly giving ourselves to the works of dead instead of serving the living God.

And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. Jesus is our Mediator of the new covenant and through Him we who are called receives the inheritance of His promises for us. Let not sin hinder us from serving the living God, for if we being believers and living in sin, no promises or blessings of God will come your way of even become reality in you life. Do let the blood of Jesus Christ by which you have been redeemed be wasted and void. If you are a believer, then live a life that's pleasing to God.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Grow and remain not as a "baby Christian".....!

Hebrews 6:1-2, 4-6, 9-12 NKJV

Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. For it  is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame. But, beloved, we are confident of better things concerning you, yes, things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this manner. For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in  that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

******
Shalom! Day #39. Do you know that each one of us are to be grown-up believers and not "baby Christians" anymore? Let's pray. Father, we pray that we would grow in You as we walk with You daily. To grow deeper in the fullness knowledge of You. Holy Spirit give us a new revelation of You as we walk with You daily. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

As a believer, I choose to grow deeper in the fullness knowledge of God. When first I accepted the Lord, I did not just wait for people to teach me or disciple me, though it was a necessary thing and indeed I was taught and discipled, yet I learn and grow deeper in the fullness knowledge of God through the help of the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit was and still is my Teacher. He disciples as well as teaching me new things. I choose not to remain stagnant but I choose to receive feesh knowledge, revelation, teaching from God Himself. I choose to grow from a baby Christian to spiritually matured believer. So how do I grow? Well different people has different ways. I will let you know in just a bit. In this verse we read today, especially for new believers,  I hope today's message would be an encouragement to you in helping to you grow deeper in the Lord. Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection. Everyone of us have learned the basic foundation of Christ,  let us not just remain there but let us grow and move on from there. Bringing your faith to perfection in Christ. Your spiritual growth happens when your faith in Christ grows.

You must be diligent to grow. Growth is a process. It doesn't happen in one day or overnight, but it takes time. There's a proverb that says "there's no age in learning." Indeed this saying is true. You stop learning when you die and you stop learning when you become stagnant and lazy. When you grow, you will witness the greater glory of God and He shall bring you to a place of greater significance. From success to significance in Christ Jesus. When you grow, you will see how great and mighty God is through your life. Now, how did I grow and came to a place of where I am now. As I mentioned earlier,  different people different ways. So here's a little of it.

1. You must desire to grow from the basic knowledge of God.
⊙ your growth is eminent. I did not stop at basic discipleship, but I desired and hunger to know more about God and who Jesus is. So I study the living and powerful word of God daily. No, I'm not holy, but as I continue to study His word, I'm being sanctified daily. Studying is not enough, but there must be a constant longing of His presence in our lives. A daily communication with the Lord helps much in your growth. Many settled down at the basic knowledge of God and when temptations and storms come by as well as in trials and testing, they fall easily.

2. As you grow, put your faith to test.
⊙ yes put your faith at the battlefield of life. I grow by taking up projects that I even dare not try to do but as I put my faith in Him, I take it and accomplished it successfully by the help of God. I grow when my faith grows. My motto is I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME! Cool right? Hahahaha. Many times, I have fallen sick and again it's another opportunity for me to see the wondrous and magnificent power of God. No matter how bad or how sick I am, people advice me to see a doctor but I remain steadfast because I know MY GOD IS MIGHTY TO SAVE me. I am healed by the stripes of Jesus! I'm not asking you to do so. My faith level may differ from yours. If you dare to believe in Him, then go ahead and put your Faith to test and you shall see the glory of God!

3. Grow by observing people.
⊙ I grow spiritually by observing and learning from many servants of God. Personally, I have a few of the great servants as my mentor of which I indirectly learn from them. My hero from the bible, besides Jesus, is apostle Paul. I admire the way he does his ministry. For example, the late Rev. David Wilkerson, I learn many things from him. The way he preach, the messages will really impact you. My senior overseer, he is the man I always look up to. This is how I learn.

Finally folks, I desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The word of God, the word of life...!

Hebrews 4:12 NKJV

For the word of God is  living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

******
Shalom! Day #38. Do you know that you have the most powerful weapon at your hand? Let's pray. Father, we thank You for the privilege You've given us to use Your word in time of need as well as in our daily life. There is power in Your word. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

It's a mass destruction weapon to the devil and life giving instrument to those who believe. Let me introduced to you, THE LIVING AND POWERFUL, SHARPER THAN ANY TWO-EDGED SWORD, THE ONE AND ONLY....... THE WORD OF GOD! Yes, the word of God. The devil trembles when the believers understands the power and the weight that the word of God carries. It's able to give life for those who receive it, acknowledge it and uses it. The word of God is your source of living. Everything you need for living is found in the word of God.  Here's a few characteristics of the word of God which we will look into today.

1. It is LIVING.
⊙ now can you tell me, is there any other word that can give life? Only the word that proceeds from the mouth of our Lord and Savior. This word of God is living and able to give life to those who believe in the Word, Jesus Christ. This word of God gives life in every dead situations, hopeless conditions, and lifeless situations. It gives hope to the hopeless. It gives life to the lifeless. It gives joy to the joyless! The word of God the word of life.

2. It is POWERFUL.
⊙ oh yes! The devil trembles when you realize the weight the word of God carries and when you use it. Simply because you have known the truth of the word of God and that you begin to realize that the word of God is able to create a mass destruction towards the devil and is able to shield and break every attacks of the devil. The devil is powerless when you begin to use the word of God.

3. It is SHARPER.
⊙ the word of God is useful for rebuking, rebuilding, correction.  Most of the believers aren't willing to be rebuked or corrected through the word of God, because it is sharper than any two-edged sword till it is able to pierced into the division of soul and spirit and joints and marrow. The word of God is able to pierce into every deadly situations of your life and bring you through every walls victoriously. It is sharper and that's why it is able to dig deep into our soul and revive us from the root of our lives.

4. It is a DISCERNER
⊙ finally, it is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. The word of God is able to project out whatever you are thinking as well as every evil thoughts is our mind. The word of God is able to identify the intents or the motives of your heart. Make sure you serve God with right intentions.

A rebellious heart will never enter His rest...!

Hebrews 3:7-12, 18-19 NKJV

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, In the day of trial in the wilderness, Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me, And saw My works forty years. Therefore I was angry with that generation, And said, ‘They always go astray in their heart, And they have not known My ways.’ So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest.’ ” Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

******
Shalom! Day#37. Do you know that in one way or another we do rebel against God? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for being rebellious towards You and Your commandments. Give us a heart that will obey Your word and instructions. Today we want to hear You speak and we do not want to harden our hearts. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Have you been a good Christian? In one way or another we do rebel against God and His words spoken through His servants. A servant of God must be able to receive a simple instruction from God and execute it. If you go against it, it , means you're rebelling against God. The same when God speaks to His elected servants and when they convey the message that God wants us to know and if we fight against it, trying to put your stand in disagreement,  trying to say I am the boss and I will not listen to your suggestions, or instructions and even going against your higher level leadership,  it is an act of rebelling against God Himself. Oh yes, don't look as though you haven't done it. I have done it before,  I repent. A servant must be able to receive a simple instruction from their leader and execute it, it's a command and an order.  For example like an army commander who commands his fellow armies. They receive it and they execute it. If you rebel against the word of God, it will cause you a lifetime of desert! You question back if it's contradicting what you believe. You question back if it's clashing with the word of God. As far as I know God and His word is yes and amen. What took them forty days to reach, becausr of their rebellious hearts,  it lasted for forty years. God has to literary wipe out the whole rebellious generation till the next is able to step into the promised land. Your rebellious spirit may cause you to go higher in your calling. It may hinder you from entering your promised land.

Again, I'm stressing here, a SERVANT OF GOD MUST BE ABLE TO TAKE INSTRUCTIONS FROM HIS OR HER HIGHER LEVER LEADERSHIP AND EXECUTE IT, lest you be found in rebellion against God.  As I've mentioned earlier,  it will cause you a lifetime of desert, well yes! You will never be able to enter His rest. So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest.’ ” Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. People who worry too much of not able to do this and that, who don't have this and that, this happens due to unbelief in their hearts. For example, when you consult a leader or a servant of God for somethings regarding your personal life and when they servant says "let me pray first and then I will tell you what the Lord has spoken," so normally they will say ok I will wait. But then they time comes for them to know what the Lord has spoken through the servant of God, for example the servants answer "the Lord has spoken and He said wait, or postpone it or something that's not at ease with you," then you tend to rebel and want it to be done according to your ways and your timing. Isn't this an act of rebellious? Yes, God doesn't only speaks through His servants, He speaks directly to you as well, but are you willing to listen what He says? Worry of this and that, not able to finish this and that is an act of rebellion as well. Because it contradicts with the word of God. So are you in one way or another being rebellious against God and His word? Repent or else you will never be able to enter His rest! Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

He is mindful of you...!

Hebrews 2:6-8 NKJV

But one testified in a certain place, saying: “What is man that You are mindful of him, Or the son of man that You take care of him? You have made him a little lower than the angels; You have crowned him with glory and honor, And set him over the works of Your hands. You have put all things in subjection under his feet.” For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that  is not put under him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him.

******
Shalom! Day #36. Do you know that God is so mindful of you? Let's pray.  Father, we thank You for remembering us at the process of creation and that You have fearfully and wonderfully made us. Perfectly made in Your image. We want to thank You for Your love and care towards us. Your faithfulness is beyond description. We thank You Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

God is so mindful of you and I. He never stops thinking about you. He never stops guiding you each time you take the wrong path and guides you back to His plans and purposes. Your parents, friends and even your loved ones may fall asleep but not with God. He stays awake. He never sleeps nor slumbers. He watches over you. God created this world and gave us the authority over everything He has created. God thought of you and I in the beginning of the creation process. Let me tell you something as a servant of God. Your existence isn't from a monkey or chimpanzee. According to the recorded biblical truth, the first man was created from dust and God breathed into him. Adam was made in the image of God,  and I don't think so that God's image was like a monkey or chimpanzee! God was and is mindful of you and I. He created us as a human, so that we won't behave as a monkey or chimpanzee. God has installed in us the human characteristics, instincts and so on. So why are we comparing ourselves to a monkey or chimpanzee when God has created you in His image?

God was and is mindful of you and I and that's why He wants us to rule over His creations. But what's happening now is that people are worshipping the creations instead of the Creator. If God wasn't mindful of us, I don't think so that He would want us to rule over every of His creations. Come on folks, you are precious in His sight. If you are feeling worthless, feeling sick and tired of your life and of things you are going through, it's time for you to allow God to rekindle the first love, it's for you allow the truth of God to be established in your hearts.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The act of denying...!

Titus 1:16 NKJV

They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.

******
Shalom! Day #35. Do you know that many believers the claim to be believers, but in action they fail? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for not truly obeying You, being disobedient and denying You in every actions of our lives. Forgive us Lord. We ask that You won't take away Your grace and mercy from us that we may repent and return to You in true faith and obedience. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Many believers claim that they are born again, they know the Lord, they serving the Lord but amongst that many, there are believers who profess to know God but in word and works they deny Him. From here comes all the false teachers, prophets and servants of God. This verse reminds me of another verse from Matthew 7:22-23 NKJV Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’  And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ This is something really serious. We simply deny the lordship of Jesus Christ upon our lives. We think that we have Jesus we got power and so on, yes it is true, but when you tend to move on your own and do things on your own, then Jesus isn't involved there anymore because you want Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit but you do not want Him to be involved in anything you do.

You were saved for every good works but being abominable and disobedient towards God separates us from what we are called to do and we try to do it on our own. We may be Christians by generation, or even ten or twenty years old Christians but if we aren't living according to His word and not living by it, in that way too we are denying Him. In word and deeds,  the way we live, the way we serve, let us not deny Him. If we deny Him, He will deny us infront of our Father. If you have believed the Lord, then live and act as a believer not as a pagan. The only thing that distinguished you and other is your faith and actions. If once you have believed the Lord, continue to remain in Him, serve Him faithfully and be obedient towards God.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Perilous times...!

II Timothy 3:1, 12-15 NKJV

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them,  and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

******
Shalom! Day #34. Do you know that we are in dangerous time and many evil things are taking place at this time? Let's pray. Father, help us be alert and on guard and praying always, so that the devil, our enemy will not have any opportunity upon us. Give us an alert mind, strong spirit and be at knowledge of every moves of the devil. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

We are living in dangerous times, a time that happens before the second coming of the Lord. Evil becomes terrible, people becomes the lover of money, true believers will be persecuted. In this verse we read today, apostle Paul is warning us and again reminding us of the things to come before the second coming of Christ. All who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. I don't know about you but I've been reading and watching news about Christians are being persecuted daily even it's happening in my own country. Evil men and impostors, false prophets, false preachers, false pastors and servants delivering fake doctrines to the people of God. People will be deceiving and will be deceived.

But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them,  and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. Get ready for the worse people. We are at end times.  Lest you be found out of His list.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Be a soldier...!

II Timothy 2:3-6, 15, 20-21 NKJV

You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules. The hardworking farmer must be first to partake of the crops. Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.

******
Shalom! Day #33. Do you know that you are trained t8endure hardships as a soldier and be entangled with the issues and affairs of life? Let's pray. Father, let us fully be focused for the cause of our calling and not be diverted to the issues and affairs of life. Let us be as soldiers whereby their focus is to win the war. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

We are the soldiers of Christ and we do not wage war against  flesh and blood, we wage war against every power and principalities of darkness. But, we aren't discussing about that today. Today we are going to learn about the steadfastness in serving God. A soldier who is at the battlefield field will never look back and think about anything else except winning the war. He will not think about his family or the wonderful life he has or so on, but only one thing, the strategy to win the battle. A soldier goes through intensive training,  a training that you could never imagine and that's why he is strong mentally and emotionally. An athlete put all his focus on training to win the competition. While training, he will not just somehow train, but all his focus are directed to the winning trophy and train till he feels the pain and hurt. People say, "No pain no gain." A farmer first eats his harvest, then he sells to others. A person who puts all his or her heart, energy and focus into the things they do will surely be rewarded.

In serving God,  there are two types of group one the gold and silver and the other of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. A vessel of honor is a person who totally cut off all the sinful nature, fleshy desires and totally focused in serving God whilst a vessel of dishonor is a person who still entangled with the world. Which one are you? Be sanctified and be useful for the Master and be prepared for every good works. Therefore a person who is steadfast, will never look to the left or right in serving God.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Money....money...money...!

I Timothy 6:10-12 NKJV

For the love of money is a root of all kinds  of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

******
Shalom! Day #32. Do you know each one of us has been entrusted by God to fight the good fight of faith? Let's pray. Father, we pray that we will never be slaves to money and that You may strengthen our faith so we can overcome poverty mentality and making money as our main priority. Help us Holy Spirit.  In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Having plentiful of money is not a sin but being a slave to it is a sin. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Money itself isn't the root of all kinds of evil, but take note here, FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY. If you love money more than anything else, more than God Himself,  it is the root of all kinds of evil. People are willing to kill one another just for money. Siblings are willing to kill one another just to attain riches. Even a dead body will open its mouth if you show a million dollars. Because of chasing money, believers are willing to work on the rest day of God. Instead of chasing after God,  they chase after money. If you honor God, He knows how to honor you back. Matthew 6:33 is a profound truth. If you learn to seek God first and putting God as your main priority,  God knows how to bless you back and provide all that you need. Simply because the love of money, many go through painful sorrow. Everyone striving to get rich. And let me introduce to you, here comes Mr. Get Rich Scheme!

But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. Seeking the kingdom of God is all about seeking His righteousness, godliness,  building our faith to trust in Him, filling our live with the abundance of His love, being patience in every kind of situation and gentleness serving one another. And finally, fight the good fight of faith. I always read this inscription on the tomb stones, but actually, this saying is for all. Fight the good fight against all power and principalities of the darkness,  fight against every form of love upon money. Many pastors, church leaders are found wanting for money, the love of money, coveting money and that's the main reason they fall. Once a good name is tarnished, it's very hard to get it clean back, unless you are falsely accused. So yeah, fight the good fight of faith. Let your faith be rooted in God that you may be able to fight against every kind of temptations especially in handling money. You have to overcome the poverty mentality or else you will be crippled by it the rest of your life!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
