Stop practising partiality...!

James 2:2-4 NKJV

For if there should come into your assembly a man with gold rings, in fine apparel, and there should also come in a poor man in filthy clothes, and you pay attention to the one wearing the fine clothes and say to him, “You sit here in a good place,” and say to the poor man, “You stand there,” or, “Sit here at my footstool,” have you not shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?

Shalom! Day #44. Do you know that most believers are suck-ups? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for practising partiality. Help us to love, to see, to treat everyone equally as You have done for with You there's no partiality. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Many of us as a believer do practice partiality. Now don't be stunned as though you don't know what I'm saying here. When there's a well doing church member in the church, we tend to suck-up to them, be nice to them, do everything we can for them, giving them the 1st rows of seats and so on. I've been seeing this everywhere,  where the leaders itself don't talk much to those middle class congregation, just hi hi and bye bye, but when there's a well to do, or high class church members, they treat them special. So in today's word, God is reminding us about the attitude of our hearts.

I do not wish to continue to share, but the Spirit of God wants this message out. DO NOT BE A MAN PLEASER. The commandments Jesus laid in Luke 10:27, it wasn't meant to certain people. It neither say that love your rich congregation and hate your poor congregation nor love the rich and wealthy people and hate the poor and dirty people, but it say...LOVE YOU NEIGHBOURS, which means everyone without looking at skin color, race, religion and ethnicity. Secretly and unknowingly we are doing so, it's a sin friends we must repent. Not only in that, sometimes in the worship team, or in the church itself,  for example if in the worship team there's a good musician, we tend to hang out with them for popularity sake and those who not so good, we ditch them. Yeah, I'm speaking to you.... why are we practising partiality? We must repent, folks. This isn't good for a church as a body of Christ. As I said, I do not wish to address this matter or share about it, but Holy Spirit kept on putting this verse in my head, so I have to deliver what He has to say to the churches.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
