A rebellious heart will never enter His rest...!

Hebrews 3:7-12, 18-19 NKJV

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, In the day of trial in the wilderness, Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me, And saw My works forty years. Therefore I was angry with that generation, And said, ‘They always go astray in their heart, And they have not known My ways.’ So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest.’ ” Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

Shalom! Day#37. Do you know that in one way or another we do rebel against God? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for being rebellious towards You and Your commandments. Give us a heart that will obey Your word and instructions. Today we want to hear You speak and we do not want to harden our hearts. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Have you been a good Christian? In one way or another we do rebel against God and His words spoken through His servants. A servant of God must be able to receive a simple instruction from God and execute it. If you go against it, it , means you're rebelling against God. The same when God speaks to His elected servants and when they convey the message that God wants us to know and if we fight against it, trying to put your stand in disagreement,  trying to say I am the boss and I will not listen to your suggestions, or instructions and even going against your higher level leadership,  it is an act of rebelling against God Himself. Oh yes, don't look as though you haven't done it. I have done it before,  I repent. A servant must be able to receive a simple instruction from their leader and execute it, it's a command and an order.  For example like an army commander who commands his fellow armies. They receive it and they execute it. If you rebel against the word of God, it will cause you a lifetime of desert! You question back if it's contradicting what you believe. You question back if it's clashing with the word of God. As far as I know God and His word is yes and amen. What took them forty days to reach, becausr of their rebellious hearts,  it lasted for forty years. God has to literary wipe out the whole rebellious generation till the next is able to step into the promised land. Your rebellious spirit may cause you to go higher in your calling. It may hinder you from entering your promised land.

Again, I'm stressing here, a SERVANT OF GOD MUST BE ABLE TO TAKE INSTRUCTIONS FROM HIS OR HER HIGHER LEVER LEADERSHIP AND EXECUTE IT, lest you be found in rebellion against God.  As I've mentioned earlier,  it will cause you a lifetime of desert, well yes! You will never be able to enter His rest. So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest.’ ” Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. People who worry too much of not able to do this and that, who don't have this and that, this happens due to unbelief in their hearts. For example, when you consult a leader or a servant of God for somethings regarding your personal life and when they servant says "let me pray first and then I will tell you what the Lord has spoken," so normally they will say ok I will wait. But then they time comes for them to know what the Lord has spoken through the servant of God, for example the servants answer "the Lord has spoken and He said wait, or postpone it or something that's not at ease with you," then you tend to rebel and want it to be done according to your ways and your timing. Isn't this an act of rebellious? Yes, God doesn't only speaks through His servants, He speaks directly to you as well, but are you willing to listen what He says? Worry of this and that, not able to finish this and that is an act of rebellion as well. Because it contradicts with the word of God. So are you in one way or another being rebellious against God and His word? Repent or else you will never be able to enter His rest! Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
