The beauty of your heart...!

I Peter 3:3-4 NKJV

Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— rather let  it  be  the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.

Shalom! Day #48. Do you know that your true beauty isn't on the outside but it's rather in the inside? Let's pray. Father, let not our service, our faith, our love, and everything we are  towards You be not from outwardly but let it be from inside out. Let us not think of our outward appearance but the conditions of our hearts. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

People say that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" but I say "beauty is in the heart of the beholder." We always trying to look beautiful and handsome on the outside but our inward beauty is left unadorned. On the outside looks good but in the inside is actually stinking and rotting. It doesn't matter how much make up you put, or how think or red your lipsticks may be, even you guys trying many Kpop hairstyles or trying to look good on the outside, it will still project out the filth of our hearts because we neglected our hearts and allowed rubbish into our hearts. A person true beauty is in the heart not outwardly. For many guys the first thing the look for in a girl is beauty then comes knowledge, heart and so on. Let me tell you something as a fellow believer. You are such a fool if you are going after a girl because she is beautiful and pretty. Outward beauty will never give you a lifelong guaranty.

Even the Lord rejected when prophet Samuel choses the next king in replacement for king Saul. You can read it in 1 Samuel 16:6-7 NKJV So it was, when they came, that he looked at Eliab and said, “Surely the Lord ’s anointed is before Him!” But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the  Lord  does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” The Lord doesn't see as a man sees. If you want to choose a life partner, look at thr character of his or her heart and not just outwardly.  If you are serving God, then serve Him not with your outward beauty but the beauty of your heart. Serve Him from inside out. God is not interested with your outward beauty, but He is a lot more interested with the beauty of your heart. Your heart, the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
