Give and you shall receive....!

I John 3:17-18 NKJV

But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

Shalom!  Day #53. Do you know that the reason God is blessing you is because you can be a blessing to others? Let's pray. Father, we thank You for the abundance of Your blessings in our lives. We pray give us a heart that would willingly bless others who are in need. Thank You Father. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

There is a reason why not everyone is serving God fulltime and why there are some who serve fulltime. The reason God is continually blessing you because He wants you to be a vessel or a channel of blessing to others. The reason God placed you at the market place so that you can give to the works of the ministry. In every ministry there's a need for finance in order to move around and to preach the gospel. Yet the servants of God don't go begging around, but they come to God in prayer and God is faithful and just, He called them and He will provide for them. The bible says when you sow the seed of giving towards the ministry or even into the lives of the people, it says in Luke 6:38 NKJV Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” This not just in giving you money or what, this is also talking about giving yourself to the works of ministry,  giving your time, your resources. When you give, God knows how's to bless you back abundantly.

If you say that you love God and your brethren, then let not it be just mere words, prove it. But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
