Do not think in your heart....!

Deuteronomy 9:3-6 NKJV

Therefore understand today that the Lord your God is He who goes over before you as a consuming fire. He will destroy them and bring them down before you; so you shall drive them out and destroy them quickly, as the Lord has said to you. “Do not think in your heart, after the Lord your God has cast them out before you, saying, ‘Because of my righteousness the Lord has brought me in to possess this land’; but it  is  because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is driving them out from before you. It  is not because of your righteousness or the uprightness of your heart that you go in to possess their land, but because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord your God drives them out from before you, and that He may fulfill the word which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Therefore understand that the Lord your God is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness, for you are a stiff-necked people.

******
† Shalom †......! Day #243. Do you know that the Lord doesn't do things because of our righteousness? Let us pray. Father, we humbled ourselves before Your throne of Grace and we pray, Lord forgive us for thinking it is for our righteousness and holiness Ypu have done many great things.  But Lord it is because of Your sovereignty, You have done great mighty things. Forgive us Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Friends, Moses represents the strength of the enemies they were now to encounter. This was to drive them to God, and engage their hope in him. He assures them of victory, by the presence of God with them. He cautions them not to have the least thought of their own righteousness, as if that procured this favour at God's hand. In Christ we have both righteousness and strength; in Him we must glory, not in ourselves, nor in any sufficiency of our own. It is for the wickedness of these nations that God drives them out. All whom God rejects, are rejected for their own wickedness; but none whom he accepts are accepted for their own righteousness. Thus boasting is for ever done away: see Eph 2:9,11,12.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

You shall remember the Lord...!

Deuteronomy 8:2-3 NKJV

And you shall remember that the Lord your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and  test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not. So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord .

******
† Shalom †......! Day #242. Do you know that God knows what's actually in our hearts - the intentions and the motives? Let us pray. Father, search out our hearts oh Lord, that we may be found faithful to You. Give us a heart that's humble and obedient to You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Friends, Obedience must be,
1. Careful, observe to do;
2. Universal, to do all the commandments;
3. From a good principle, with a regard to God as the Lord, and their God, and with a holy fear of him.

To engage them to this obedience, Moses directs them to look back and remember all the ways, both of God's providence and grace, by which he has led us through this wilderness, that we may cheerfully serve him and trust in him. They must remember the straits they were sometimes brought into, for mortifying their pride, and manifesting their perverseness; to prove them, that they and others might know all that was in their heart, and that all mand ight see that God chose them, not for any thing in them which might recommend them to his favour. They must remember the miraculous supplies of food and raiment granted them. Let none of God's children distrust their Father, nor take any sinful course for the supply of their necessities. Some way or other, God will provide for them in the way of duty and honest diligence, and verily they shall be fed. It may be applied spiritually; the word of God is the food of the soul. Christ is the word of God; by him we live. They must also remember the rebukes they had been under, and not without need. This use we should make of all our afflictions; by them let us be quickened to our duty. Moses also directs them to look forward to Canaan.

Look which way we will, both to look back and to look forward, to Canaan. Look which way we will, both to look back and to look forward will furnish us with arguments for obedience. Moses saw in that land a type of the better country. The gospel church is the New Testament Canaan, watered with the Spirit in his gifts and graces, planted with trees of righteousness, bearing fruits of righteousness. Heaven is the good land, in which nothing is wanting, and where is fulness of joy.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The Lord is faithful...

Deuteronomy 7:9-11, 21 NKJV

“Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments; and He repays those who hate Him to their face, to destroy them. He will not be slack with him who hates Him; He will repay him to his face. Therefore you shall keep the commandment, the statutes, and the judgments which I command you today, to observe them. You shall not be terrified of them; for the Lord your God, the great and awesome God, is among you.

******
† Shalom †......! Day #241. Do you know that the Lord is faithful to the end? Let us pray. Father, we pray that You faithfulness will last for eternity. Help us to remain faithful to You Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Here is a strict caution against all friendship and fellowship with idols and idolaters. Those who are in communion with God, must have no communication with the unfruitful works of darkness. Limiting the orders to destroy, to the nations here mentioned, plainly shows that after ages were not to draw this into a precedent. A proper understanding of the evil of sin, and of the mystery of a crucified Saviour, will enable us to perceive the justice of God in all his punishments, temporal and eternal. We must deal decidedly with our lusts that war against our souls; let us not show them any mercy, but mortify, and crucify, and utterly destroy them. Thousands in the world that now is, have been undone by ungodly marriages; for there is more likelihood that the good will be perverted, than that the bad will be converted. Those who, in choosing yoke-fellows, keep not within the bounds of a profession of religion, cannot promise themselves helps meet for them.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

The Lord your God is One...!

Deuteronomy 6:4-9 NKJV

“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord  is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

******
† Shalom †......! Day #240. Do you know that God is looking for those who loves Him with all their heart, soul and strengthen? Let us pray. Father, lead us to the Cross where Your Love poured down. Bring us to our knees, Lord we lay ourselves down so that only we only love You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Here is a brief summary of religion, containing the first principles of faith and obedience. Jehovah our God is the only living and true God; he only is God, and he is but One God. Let us not desire to have any other. The three-fold mention of the Divine names, and the plural number of the word translated God, seem plainly to intimate a Trinity of persons, even in this express declaration of the unity of the Godhead. Happy those who have this one Lord for their God. It is better to have one fountain than a thousand cisterns; one all-sufficient God than a thousand insufficient friends.

This is the first and great commandment of God's law, that we love him; and that we do all parts of our duty to him from a principle of love; My son, give me thine heart. We are to love God with all our heart, and soul, and might.

That is...

1. With a sincere love; not in word and tongue only, but inwardly in truth.

2. With a strong love. He that is our All, must have our all, and none but he.

3. With a superlative love; we must love God above any creature whatever, and love nothing but what we love for him.

4. With an intelligent love. To love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, we must see good cause to love him.

5. With an entire love; he is ONE, our hearts must be united in his love. Oh that this love of God may be shed abroad in our hearts!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

He is a consuming fire...!

Deuteronomy 4:24, 29-31 NKJV

For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God. But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. When you are in distress, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, when you turn to the Lord your God and obey His voice (for the Lord your God is a merciful God), He will not forsake you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He swore to them.

******
† Shalom †......! Day #239. Do you know that when you seek the Lord with all your heart, you shall find Him? Let us pray.  Father, we pray that as we continue to pursue You in our lives, Lord, that You would take us deeper into Your love and teach us Your ways. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Friends, Moses urged the greatness, glory, and goodness of God. Did we consider what a God he is with whom we have to do, we should surely make conscience of our duty to him, and not dare to sin against him. Shall we forsake a merciful God, who will never forsake us, if we are faithful unto him? Whither can we go? Let us be held to our duty by the bonds of love, and prevailed with by the mercies of God to cleave to him. Moses urged God's authority over them, and their obligations to him. In keeping God's commandments they would act wisely for themselves. The fear of the Lord, that is wisdom. Those who enjoy the benefit of Divine light and laws, ought to support their character for wisdom and honour, that God may be glorified thereby. Those who call upon God, shall certainly find him within call, ready to give an answer of peace to every prayer of faith.

All these statutes and judgments of the Divine law are just and righteous, above the statutes and judgments of any of the nations. What they saw at mount Sinai, gave an earnest of the day of judgment, in which the Lord Jesus shall be revealed in flaming fire. They must also remember what they heard at mount Sinai. God manifests himself in the works of the creation, without speech or language, yet their voice is heard, Ps 19:1,3; but to Israel he made himself known by speech and language, condescending to their weakness. The will speak to you when you call upon His name and seek Him with all your heart.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Your eyes has seen...!

Deuteronomy 3:21-22, 28 NKJV

“And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, ‘Your eyes have seen all that the Lord your God has done to these two kings; so will the Lord do to all the kingdoms through which you pass. You must not fear them, for the Lord your God Himself fights for you.’ But command Joshua, and encourage him and strengthen him; for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which you will see.’

******
† Shalom †......! Day #238. Do you know that when God gives you something to do,  He will provide the necessary things for you as well? Let us pray. Father, You are the Lord who provides for us everything we need. You providence is never too late and never too early, always on time. Thank You Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Moses encouraged Joshua, who was to succeed him. Thus the aged and experienced in the service of God, should do all they can to strengthen the hands of those who are young, and setting out in religion. Consider what God has done, what God has promised. If God be for us, who can be against us, so as to prevail? We reproach our Leader if we follow him trembling. Moses prayed, that, if it were God's will, he might go before Israel, over Jordan into Canaan. We should never allow any desires in our hearts, which we cannot in faith offer up to God by prayer. God's answer to this prayer had a mixture of mercy and judgment. God sees it good to deny many things we desire. He may accept our prayers, yet not grant us the very things we pray for. It God does not by his providence give us what we desire, yet if by his grace he makes us content without, it comes to much the same.

Let it suffice thee to have God for thy Father, and heaven for thy portion, though thou hast not every thing thou wouldst have in the world. God promised Moses a sight of Canaan from the top of Pisgah. Though he should not have the possession of it, he should have the prospect of it. Even great believers, in this present state, see heaven but at a distance. God provided him a successor. It is a comfort to the friends of the church of Christ, to see God's work likely to be carried on by others, when they are silent in the dust. And if we have the earnest and prospect of heaven, let these suffice us; let us submit to the Lord's will, and speak no more to Him of matters which he sees good to refuse us.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Do not be unbelief....!

Deuteronomy 1:29-31 NKJV

“Then I said to you, ‘Do not be terrified, or afraid of them. The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you, according to all He did for you in Egypt before your eyes, and in the wilderness where you saw how the Lord your God carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went until you came to this place.’

******
† Shalom †......! Day #237. Do you know that the Lord your God, He will fight for you? Let us pray. Father, every battle we face, it belongs to You for You are the ONE who fight for us. We believe in You, Lord. Forgive us for our unbelief. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen...!

Friends, Moses reminds the Israelites of their march from Horeb to Kadesh-barnea, through that great and terrible wilderness. He shows how near they were to a happy settlement in Canaan. It will aggravate the eternal ruin of hypocrites, that they were not far from the kingdom of God. As if it were not enough that they were sure of their God before them, they would send men before them. Never any looked into the Holy Land, but they must own it to be a good land. And was there any cause to distrust this God? An unbelieving heart was at the bottom of all this. All disobedience to God's laws, and distrust of his power and goodness, flow from disbelief of his word, as all true obedience springs from faith. It is profitable for us to divide our past lives into distinct periods; to give thanks to God for the mercies we have received in each, to confess and seek the forgiveness of all the sins we can remember; and thus to renew our acceptance of God's salvation, and our surrender of ourselves to his service.

Our own plans seldom avail to good purpose; while courage in the exercise of faith, and in the path of duty, enables the believer to follow the Lord fully, to disregard all that opposes, to triumph over all opposition, and to take firm hold upon the promised blessings.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

God appoints a successor...!

Numbers 27:18 NKJV

And the Lord said to Moses: “Take Joshua the son of Nun with you, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay your hand on him;

******
† Shalom †......! Day #236. Do you know that God is looking for the next generation who will cross to the promised land? Let us pray.  Father,  we pray that You would raise up Joshua's in the last days that would lead Whole generation into the promises You have installed for them.  In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Friends, envious spirits do not love their successors; but Moses was not one of these. We should concern ourselves, both in our prayers and in our endeavours, for the rising generation, that religion may be maintained and advanced, when we are in our graves. God appoints a successor, even Joshua; who had signalized himself by his courage in fighting Amalek, his humility in ministering to Moses, and his faith and sincerity in witnessing against the report of the evil spies. This man God appoints to succeed Moses; a man in whom is the Spirit, the Spirit of grace. He is a good man, fearing God and hating covetousness, and acting from principle. He has the spirit of government; he is fit to do the work and discharge the trusts of his place.

He has a spirit of conduct and courage; he had also the Spirit of prophecy. That man is not fully qualified for any service in the church of Christ, who is destitute of the graces and gifts of the Holy Spirit, whatever human abilities he may possess. And in Joshua's succession we are reminded that the law was given by Moses, who by reason of our transgression could not bring us to heaven; but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ, for the salvation of every believer.

God's ways of stopping us...!

Numbers 22:31-34 NKJV

Then the Lord  opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the Angel of the Lord standing in the way with His drawn sword in His hand; and he bowed his head and fell flat on his face. And the Angel of the Lord said to him, “Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come out to stand against you, because your way is perverse before Me. The donkey saw Me and turned aside from Me these three times. If she had not turned aside from Me, surely I would also have killed you by now, and let her live.” And Balaam said to the Angel of the Lord , “I have sinned, for I did not know You stood in the way against me. Now therefore, if it displeases You, I will turn back.”

******
† Shalom †......! Day #235. Do you know that when you are disobedient to God, He may use many ways to stop you from pursuing something which is not right? Let us pray. Father, forgive us for being disobedient many times. Help us to know Your will so that we may abide in Your ways and not our own ways. Thank You Lord, for opening our eyes to see You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

We must not think, that because God does not always by his providence restrain men from sin, therefore he approves of it, or that it is not hateful to him. The holy angels oppose sin, and perhaps are employed in preventing it more than we are aware. This angel was an adversary to Balaam, because Balaam counted him his adversary; those are really our best friends, and we ought so to reckon them, who stop our progress in sinful ways. Balaam has notice of God's displeasure by the ass. It is common for those whose hearts are fully set in them to do evil, to push on violently, through the difficulties Providence lays in their way. The Lord opened the mouth of the ass. This was a great miracle wrought by the power of God. He who made man speak, could, when he pleased, make the ass to speak with man's voice. The ass complained of Balaam's cruelty. The righteous God does not allow the meanest or weakest to be abused; but they shall be able to speak in their own defence, or he will some way or other speak for them. Balaam at length has his eyes opened. God has many ways to bring down the hard and unhumbled heart. When our eyes are opened, we shall see the danger of sinful ways, and how much it was for our advantage to be crossed. Balaam seemed to relent; I have sinned; but it does not appear that he was sensible of this wickedness of his heart, or willing to own it. If he finds he cannot go forward, he will be content, since there is no remedy, to go back. Thus many leave their sins, only because their sins have left them. The angel declared that he should not only be unable to curse Israel, but should be forced to bless them: this would be more for the glory of God, and to his own confusion, than if he had turned back.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

A tree is known by its fruit...!

Numbers 16:28 NKJV

And Moses said: “By this you shall know that the Lord has sent me to do all these works, for I  have not done  them  of my own will.

******
† Shalom †......! Day #234. Do you know that a tree is known by its fruit? Let us pray. Father, let Your servanthood seal be upon us. Let us not be as imposter or false man of God,  but in fear and reverence, serving You till the end. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Friends, Jesus said, in Luke 6:44-45  "For every tree is known by its own fruit. For [men] do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks." We are sent by God to do His will. Every tree that does not bare fruits will be chopped off and every tree that bears fruit, shall be pruned so that it will continue to bear more fruits. A good leader produces good followers. There's many imposters saying that I am He. Many O way to many. A lot of false teachers and prophets. We must be very careful in identifying the real ones.

Those who the Lord sents, accompanied by signs and wonders. But false teachers and prophets they work in deception. We must be careful with this. Do not just accept one for his title and so on, but look at the background. I have known a few who say that they are servants of God, but going around borrowing money from people, students and never repay them. This is one of the example. The Spirit of God is upon those who God has sent. I am from the Lord, but I am not the Lord. Some people make themselves as equal as God. Be aware friends,  for we are living in the end times.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

A man with a different spirit...!

Numbers 14:24 NKJV

But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it.

******
† Shalom †......! Day #233. Do you know that a man with a different spirit will do things differently and see things differently? Let us pray. Father,  we pray that give us a spirit that would see every obstacles as an opportunity to see Your glory and marvelous works. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Friends, Caleb had another spirit; not only a bold, generous, courageous, noble, and heroic spirit, but the Spirit and influence of God, which thus raised him above human inquietudes and earthly fears. Therefore he followed God fully; literally, 'and he filled after me;' God shewed him the way he was to take and the line of conduct he was to pursue, and he filled up this line, and in all things followed the will of his Maker.

Caleb wasn't the number 1 leader. It doesn't matter whether we are in the premier, or the number 1 leader. But God is interested with the attitude of your heart.

Leadership isn't a position or title. A person with a different spirit has something different in them. They don't think like anybody else, they don't talk like anybody else, they don't do things like anybody else.

It is the different spirit in Caleb that causes him to give a different report when he came from spying the land.

Your life isn't for you but it's for the generations to come. What you do in this lifetime make an impact to the generations to come.

A person with a different spirit is a person who doesn't care what people may say about them, but wholly be given to God.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

A man with a different report...!

Numbers 13:30 NKJV

Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.”

******
† Shalom †......! Day #232. Do you know that God is looking for those who gives different report than others? Let us pray. Father, we pray that You will give us eyes like Yours so that we would be able to see like You do. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Friends, We may wonder that the people of Israel staid forty days for the return of their spies, when they were ready to enter Canaan, under all the assurances of success they could have from the Divine power, and the miracles that had hitherto attended them. But they distrusted God's power and promise. How much we stand in our own light by our unbelief! At length the messengers returned; but the greater part discouraged the people from going forward to Canaan. Justly are the Israelites left to this temptation, for putting confidence in the judgment of men, when they had the word of God to trust in. Though they had found the land as good as God had said, yet they would not believe it to be as sure as he had said, but despaired of having it, though Eternal Truth had engaged it to them. This was the representation of the evil spies.

Caleb, however, encouraged them to go forward, though seconded by Joshua only. He does not say, Let us go up and conquer it; but, Let us go and possess it. Difficulties that are in the way of salvation, dwindle and vanish before a lively, active faith in the power and promise of God. All things are possible, if they are promised, to him that believes; but carnal sense and carnal professors are not to be trusted. Unbelief overlooks the promises and power of God, magnifies every danger and difficulty, and fills the heart with discouragement. May the Lord help us to believe! we shall then find all things possible. Caleb was a man with a different report. He sees into the impossibilities and he gives a possible answer. God is looking for such people. People who will see the impossibilities as an opportunity to witness God's power! Hallelujah 🙌!

Let God arise...!

Numbers 10:35 NKJV

So it was, whenever the ark set out, that Moses said: “Rise up, O Lord ! Let Your enemies be scattered, And let those who hate You flee before You.”

******
† Shalom †......! Day #231. Do you know that whe God arise, all the enemies are scattered? Let us pray. Father, if You are for us, who can be against us? Rise up O Lord, and let the enemies be scattered. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen.

Friends,  Their going out and coming in, gives an example to us to begin and end every day's journey and every day's work with prayer. Here is Moses's prayer when the ark set forward, Rise up, and let Your enemies be scattered. There are those in the world who are enemies to God and haters of him; secret and open enemies; enemies to his truths, his laws, his ordinances, his people. But for the scattering and defeating of God's enemies, there needs no more than God's arising. Observe also the prayer of Moses when the ark rested, that God would cause his people to rest. The welfare and happiness of the Israel of God, consist in the continual presence of God among them. Their safety is not in their numbers, but in the favour of God, and his gracious return to them, and resting with them. Upon this account, Happy art thou, O Israel! who is like unto thee, O people! God will go before them, to find them resting-places by the way. His promise is, and their prayers are, that he will never leave them nor forsake them.

Ephesians 6:12  For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual [hosts] of wickedness in the heavenly [places.] Our enemies are not human beings, but the powers of darkness that's at work. When God arise, let the enemies be scattered and let the righteous rejoice for God has triumph mightily! Hallelujah 🙌!

His face shine upon you...!

Numbers 6:24-26 NKJV

“The Lord  bless you and keep you; The Lord  make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’

******
† Shalom †......! Day #230. Do you know that when you seek the face of the Lord, He will make His face to shine upon you? Let us pray. Father, as we humble ourselves and seek Your face, let Your glory shine upon us. Let Your countenance be upon us, Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Friends, as we seek the face of the Lord, He make His glory to shine upon us. Isaiah said,  "arise and shine for the GLORY OF THE LORD HAS RISEN UPON YOU." When we continously seek the Lord with all our heart, He will shine His glory upon your life. He protects you from every form of evil. His glory surrounds you and keeps you safe and secured under His wings.

There is peace when the Lord looks at us. He Himself is the Lord of peace. Let us continue to see the Lord with all our heart, mind and spirit, seek Him more, seek His face forevermore.  Do not just seek His hands for blessings, but learn to gaze upon His beauty. Learn to sit at the feet of the Lord and seek His face and let His glory shine upon you.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Walking in the wilderness...!

Numbers 3:14 NKJV

Then the Lord spoke to Moses in the Wilderness of Sinai, saying:

******
† Shalom †......! Day #229. Do you know that the Lord is with you and speaks to you even when you are in the wilderness? Let us pray. Father, we pray that let us experience You more and more so that we would not leave You at any point of our lives and remain faithful to You. Although we are going through a moment of wilderness in our life, we know that You are there looking after us and leading us. Thank You Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Friends,  everyone of us do experience a moment of wilderness in our lives.  The Bible says in Isaiah 40:31 NKJV  But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew [their] strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. In the wilderness, as you take time to wait upon the Lord, He shall encounter you,  renew your strength, refresh you, refill and empower you. Many of us thinks that if we go through a time of wilderness, wondering in the wilderness, it is a curse. But let me tell you one thing, the times in wilderness is a good time where God personally encounter us. It is in the wilderness He makes path for us, Isaiah 43:19  Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness [And] rivers in the desert. I have experienced it many times. It is in the wilderness God speaks to me, encounter me, refill me, renew me, empower me for His purposes.

The Lord spoke to Moses in the wilderness. Who's voice are you hearing in the wilderness? God's or the devil's? Why many people failed in the wilderness and unable to pursue what God has for them is because they listen to wrong voices instead of God's voice. When you are in the wilderness, learn to listen to His voice alone. There shall be rivers in the desert for you. Not one, but many rivers. It means also He is able to cause miracles to happen for you in the wilderness when you begin to heed the voice of God when He speaks. Amen! Hallelujah 🙌!  Are you in the wilderness today? Hey hang on there,  your miracle is just another step away. Listen when God speaks and move together with God. God bless you...

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Your Shekinah Glory go with us...!

Exodus 33:15 NKJV

Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with  us, do not bring us up from here.

******
† Shalom †......! Day #228. Do you know that the Presence of God is so important in our lives? Let us pray. Father, let us not go away from Your presence, but we will move together with You. Wherever You are,  we want to be there. Never leave us nor forsake us. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Moses is very earnest with God. Thus, by the intercession of Christ, we are not only saved from ruin, but become entitled to everlasting happiness. Observe here how he pleads. We find grace in God's sight, if we find grace in our hearts to guide and quicken us in the way of our duty. Moses speaks as one who dreaded the thought of going forward without the Lord's presence. God's gracious promises, and mercy towards us, should not only encourage our faith, but also excite our fervency in prayer. Observe how he speeds. See, in a type, Christ's intercession, which he ever lives to make for all that come to God by him; and that it is not by any thing in those for whom he intercedes. Moses then entreats a sight of God's glory, and is heard in that also. A full discovery of the glory of God, would overwhelm even Moses himself. Man is mean, and unworthy of it; weak, and could not bear it; guilty, and could not but dread it. The merciful display which is made in Christ Jesus, alone can be borne by us. The Lord granted that which would abundantly satisfy. God's goodness is his glory; and he will have us to know him by the glory of his mercy, more than by the glory of his majesty.

Upon the rock there was a fit place for Moses to view the goodness and glory of God. The rock in Horeb was typical of Christ the Rock; the Rock of refuge, salvation, and strength. Happy are they who stand upon this Rock. The cleft may be an emblem of Christ, as smitten, crucified, wounded, and slain. What follows, denotes the imperfect knowledge of God in the present state, even as revealed in Christ; for this, when compared with the heavenly sight of him. is but like seeing a man that is gone by, whose back only is to be seen. God in Christ, as he is, even the fullest and brightest displays of his glory, grace, and goodness, are reserved to another state.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

When you obey...!

Exodus 23:20, 22, 25 NKJV

“Behold, I send an Angel before you to keep you in the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. But if you indeed obey His voice and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries. “So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.

******
† Shalom †......! Day #227. Do you know that when you obey the Lord, He is faithful and just to make sure all your enemies are defeated and problems are solved? Let us pray. Father, give us a heart that will obey You. Give us a spirit that would bow down to You alone. In Jesus nae we ask and pray, amen!

It is here promised that they should be guided and kept in their way through the wilderness to the land of promise, Behold, I send an angel before thee, mine angel. The precept joined with this promise is, that they be obedient to this angel whom God would send before them. Christ is the Angel of Jehovah; this is plainly taught by Paul, 1Co 10:9. They should have a comfortable settlement in the land of Canaan. How reasonable are the conditions of this promise; that they should serve the only true God; not the gods of the nations, which are no gods at all. How rich are the particulars of this promise! The comfort of their food, the continuance of their health, the increase of their wealth, the prolonging their lives to old age. Thus hath godliness the promise of the life that now is. It is promised that they should subdue their enemies.

Hosts of hornets made way for the hosts of Israel; such mean creatures can God use for chastising his people's enemies. In real kindness to the church, its enemies are subdued by little and little; thus we are kept on our guard, and in continual dependence on God. Corruptions are driven out of the hearts of God's people, not all at once, but by little and little. The precept with this promise is, that they should not make friendship with idolaters. Those that would keep from bad courses, must keep from bad company. It is dangerous to live in a bad neighbourhood; others' sins will be our snares. Our greatest danger is from those who would make us sin against God.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Declare to the world...!

Exodus 18:8-10 NKJV

And Moses told his father-in-law all that the Lord had done to Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel’s sake, all the hardship that had come upon them on the way, and how the Lord had delivered them. Then Jethro rejoiced for all the good which the Lord had done for Israel, whom He had delivered out of the hand of the Egyptians. And Jethro said, “Blessed be the Lord , who has delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians and out of the hand of Pharaoh, and who has delivered the people from under the hand of the Egyptians.

******
† Shalom †......! Day #226. Do you know that you must let the world know of what the Lord has done? Let us pray. Father, we want to let the world know that Jesus lives. We want the world to know that You died for them. We want the world to know that You have raised from death and You live forevermore. We want to declare Your glory and Your wondrous marvellous works. Therefore give us the courage and boldness Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Friends, Conversation concerning God's wondrous works is good, and edifies. Jethro not only rejoiced in the honour done to his son-in-law, but in all the goodness done to Israel. Standers-by were more affected with the favours God had showed to Israel, than many were who received them. Jethro gave the glory to Israel's God. Whatever we have the joy of, God must have the praise. They joined in a sacrifice of thanksgiving. Mutual friendship is sanctified by joint worship. It is very good for relations and friends to join in the spiritual sacrifice of prayer and praise, as those that meet in Christ. This was a temperate feast; they did eat bread, manna. Jethro must see and taste that bread from heaven, and though a gentile, is welcome: the gentiles are welcomed to Christ the Bread of life.

The story about what the Lord has done in our lives or even in a generation, must be passed down to generations to come, so that the fires 🔥 of revival will not stop burning but will be a continuous flame in each generation! In Psalm 96:3, the psalmist says, "Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples." We need to be a generation that will pass down the baton of revival to the next generation. People must know what the Lord has done in the past so that the current generation and the future generations will continue to run with thw fire of revivals! Hallelujah 🙌!

He is my strength...!

Exodus 15:2, 6, 18 NKJV

The Lord  is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him. “Your right hand, O Lord , has become glorious in power; Your right hand, O Lord , has dashed the enemy in pieces. “The  Lord shall reign forever and ever.”

******
† Shalom †......! Day #225. Do you know that the Lord is our strength? Let us pray. Father, we thank You for being our source of strength and our salvation. The battle belongs to You, Lord. Hallelujah 🙌, for You have won the victory. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

This song is the most ancient we know of. It is a holy song, to the honour of God, to exalt His name, and celebrate His  praise, and His  only, not in the least to magnify any man. Holiness to the Lord is in every part of it. It may be considered as typical, and prophetical of the final destruction of the enemies of the church. Happy the people whose God is the Lord. They have work to do, temptations to grapple with, and afflictions to bear, and are weak in themselves; but His  grace is their strength. They are often in sorrow, but in Him they have comfort; He  is their song. Sin, and death, and hell threaten them, but He  is, and will be their salvation. The Lord is a God of almighty power, and woe to those that strive with their Maker! He is a God of matchless perfection; He  is glorious in holiness; His  holiness is His  glory. His holiness appears in the hatred of sin, and His  wrath against obstinate sinners. It appears in the deliverance of Israel, and his faithfulness to his own promise. He is fearful in praises; that which is matter of praise to the servants of God, is very dreadful to His  enemies. He is doing wonders, things out of the common course of nature; wondrous to those in whose favour they are wrought, who are so unworthy, that they had no reason to expect them. There were wonders of power and wonders of grace; in both, God was to be humbly adored.

In the midst of the chaotic world, we can only hope in the Lord for the supply of strength and faith to endure it all. Our faith must fight the fear. Never allow the devil to manipulate your mind. Be bold as you face the reality of the Spiritual realm.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

FEAR NOT, STAND STILL...!

Exodus 14:13-14 NKJV

And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord , which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”

******
† Shalom †......! Day #225. Do you know that the battle belongs to the Lord? Let us pray. Father, we thank You for Your salvation. Truly Lord, the battle belongs to You and we are safe and secured in You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Friends,  there was no way open to Israel but upward, and thence their deliverance came. We may be in the way of duty, following God, and hastening toward heaven, yet may be troubled on every side. Some cried out unto the Lord; their fear led them to pray, and that was well. God brings us into straits, that he may bring us to our knees. Others cried out against Moses; fear set them murmuring as if God were not still able to work miracles. They quarrel with Moses for bringing them out of Egypt; and so were angry with God for the greatest kindness ever done them; thus gross are the absurdities of unbelief. Moses says, Fear ye not. It is always our duty and interest, when we cannot get out of troubles, yet to get above our fears; let them quicken our prayers and endeavours, but not silence our faith and hope. Stand still, think not to save yourselves either by fighting or flying; wait God's orders, and observe them. Compose yourselves, by confidence in God, into peaceful thoughts of the great salvation God is about to work for you. If God brings his people into straits, he will find a way to bring them out.

Moses said, … Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord—Never, perhaps, was the fortitude of a man so severely tried as that of the Hebrew leader in this crisis, exposed as he was to various and inevitable dangers, the most formidable of which was the vengeance of a seditious and desperate multitude; but his meek, unruffled, magnanimous composure presents one of the sublimest examples of moral courage to be found in history. And whence did his courage arise? He saw the miraculous cloud still accompanying them, and his confidence arose solely from the hope of a divine interposition, although, perhaps, he might have looked for the expected deliverance in every quarter, rather than in the direction of the sea.

The Lord is with us...!

Exodus 13:21-22 NKJV

And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night. He did not take away the pillar of cloud by day or the pillar of fire by night from before the people.

******
† Shalom †......! Day #223. Do you know that God is always with you? Let us pray. Father, we thank You for Your promises that's Yes and Amen, now and for eternity.  We are assured by Your promises that You are always with us. Thank You Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The Lord went before them in a pillar, or appearance of the Divine Majesty. Christ was with the church in the wilderness, 1Co 10:9. Those whom God brings into a wilderness, he will not leave nor lose there, but will take care to lead them through it. It was great satisfaction to Moses and the pious Israelites, to be sure that they were under Divine guidance. Those who make the glory of God their end, and the word of God their rule, the Spirit of God the guide of their affections, and the providence of God the guide of their affairs, may be sure that the Lord goes before them, though they cannot see it with their eyes: we must now live by faith.

When Israel marched, this pillar went before, and pointed out the place of encampment, as Divine Wisdom saw fit. It sheltered by day from the heat, and gave light by night. The Bible is a light to our feet, a lantern to our paths, with which the Saviour's love has provided us. It testifies of Christ. It is to us like the pillar to the Israelites. Listen to that voice which cries, I am the Light of the world; he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the Light of life, Joh 8:12. Jesus Christ alone, as shown in the Bible, and as the Holy Spirit, in answer to prayer, recommends him to the soul, is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, Joh 14:6.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

For this purpose...

Exodus 9:16 NKJV

But indeed for this purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.

******
† Shalom †......! Day #221. Do you know that there's a purpose God saved you? Let us pray. Father, thank You for setting us apart as a chosen generation that would stand up,  stand out and shine for You. Our life shall shine forth Your glory. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Moses is here ordered to deliver a dreadful message to Pharaoh. Providence ordered it, that Moses should have a man of such a fierce and stubborn spirit as this Pharaoh to deal with; and every thing made it a most signal instance of the power of God has to humble and bring down the proudest of his enemies. When God's justice threatens ruin, his mercy at the same time shows a way of escape from it. God not only distinguished between Egyptians and Israelites, but between some Egyptians and others. If Pharaoh will not yield, and so prevent the judgment itself, yet those that will take warning, may take shelter. Some believed the things which were spoken, and they feared, and housed their servants and cattle, and it was their wisdom. Even among the servants of Pharaoh, some trembled at God's word; and shall not the sons of Israel dread it? But others believed not, and left their cattle in the field. Obstinate unbelief is deaf to the fairest warnings, and the wisest counsels, which leaves the blood of those that perish upon their own heads.

I am the Lord...!

Exodus 7:3-5 NKJV

And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and multiply My signs and My wonders in the land of Egypt. But Pharaoh will not heed you, so that I may lay My hand on Egypt and bring My armies and My people, the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments. And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord , when I stretch out My hand on Egypt and bring out the children of Israel from among them.”

******
† Shalom †.....! Day #220. Do you know that there's reason why God had to hardened some hearts? Let us pray. Father,  we come to You, we believe that in everything that's happened, You have prepared a miracle to make Your glory known to all. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

God glorifies himself. He makes people know that he is Jehovah. Israel is made to know it by the performance of his promises to them, and the Egyptians by the pouring out of his wrath upon them. Moses, as the ambassador of Jehovah, speaking in his name, laid commands upon Pharaoh, denounced threatenings against him, and called for judgments upon him. Pharaoh, proud and great as he was, could not resist. Moses stood not in awe of Pharaoh, but made him tremble. This seems to be meant in the words, Thou shalt be a god unto Pharaoh. At length Moses is delivered from his fears. He makes no more objections, but, being strengthened in faith, goes about his work with courage, and proceeds in it with perseverance.

God hardened Pharoah's heart because He want to show to Israelites and to the Egyptians as well who He is! "And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord , when I stretch out My hand on Egypt and bring out the children of Israel from among them.” Sometimes we Don comprehend the ways of God, how He does things and so on. So let's hold on...obey and do what God says. Never question God and never doubt!

******
† Shalom †......! Day #219. Do you know that you are called to deliver God's people? Let us pray. Father, revival and deliverance is what we are praying for, therefore Father let Your revival fire 🔥 fall upon this generation! Let Your people be delivered from the hands of the devil! In Jesus name we ask and pray, Amen!

Friends,  the Lord that we serve, has called you and I out of darkness into His marvelous light. We have taste and see the goodness of God.  Now, it's time for us to spread the fire to everyone who is still in the darkness.

Now, the wave of revival has begun. Are you flowing with the wave? God has begun a new work in this generation. The devil is holding back our generation from fulfilling the call of God. Never give reasons...!

Exodus 4:10-14 NKJV

Then Moses said to the Lord , “O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.” So the Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the Lord ? Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.” But he said, “O my Lord, please send by the hand of whomever else You may send.” So the anger of the Lord was kindled against Moses, and He said: “Is not Aaron the Levite your brother? I know that he can speak well. And look, he is also coming out to meet you. When he sees you, he will be glad in his heart.

******
† Shalom †......! Day #218. Do you know that we also just like Moses, always giving reasons for not doing the will of God? Let us pray. Father, forgive us for always giving reasons for not pursuing Your will and purposes in our life. Give us the courage to stand up and step out and to shine for You, Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Friends,  Moses continued backward to the work God designed him for; there was much of cowardice, slothfulness, and unbelief in him. We must not judge of men by the readiness of their discourse. A great deal of wisdom and true worth may be with a slow tongue. God sometimes makes choice of those as his messengers, who have the least of the advantages of art or nature, that his grace in them may appear the more glorious. Christ's disciples were no orators, till the Holy Spirit made them such. God condescends to answer the excuse of Moses. Even self-diffidence, when it hinders us from duty, or clogs us in duty, is very displeasing to the Lord. But while we blame Moses for shrinking from this dangerous service, let us ask our own hearts if we are not neglecting duties more easy, and less perilous. The tongue of Aaron, with the head and heart of Moses, would make one completely fit for this errand. God promises, I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth. Even Aaron, who could speak well, yet could not speak to purpose, unless God gave constant teaching and help; for without the constant aid of Divine grace, the best gifts will fail.

Are we always giving petty reasons for not doing the will of God? Friends, when God calls, we move. When God calls, we don't just sit there and procrastinate things but we DO what He wants us to do. Are saying that "HERE I AM LORD, SEND MY BROTHER OR MY SISTER, OR MY PASTOR OR MY FRIEND?" When God calls you, it mean that calling is for you and not for others. Amen!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Take your sandals off...!

Exodus 3:2,4-5 NKJV

And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.” Then He said, “Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.”

† Shalom †......! Day #217. Do you know that when you draw near to God, you must remove your old self first? Let us pray. Father,  as we come before You, forgive us and remove all filthiness from us. Cleanse us from inside out. Let there be a total change in us. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Friends, to his great surprise, Moses saw a bush burning without fire to kindle it. The bush burned, and yet did not burn away; an emblem of the church in bondage in Egypt. And it fitly reminds us of the church in every age, under its severest persecutions kept by the presence of God from being destroyed. Fire is an emblem, in Scripture, of the Divine holiness and justice, also of the afflictions and trials with which God proves and purifies his people, and even of that baptism of the Holy Ghost, by which sinful affections are consumed, and the soul changed into the Divine nature and image. God gave Moses a gracious call, to which he returned a ready answer. Those that would have communion with God, must attend upon him in the ordinances wherein he is pleased to manifest himself and his glory, though it be in a bush. Putting off the shoe was a token of respect and submission. We ought to draw nigh to God with a solemn pause and preparation, carefully avoiding every thing that looks light and rude, and unbecoming his service.

God does not say, I was the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, but I am. The patriarchs still live, so many years after their bodies have been in the grave. No length of time can separate the souls of the just from their Maker. By this, God instructed Moses as to another world, and strengthened his belief of a future state. Thus it is interpreted by our Lord Jesus, who, from hence, proves that the dead are raised, Luke 20:37. Moses hid his face, as if both ashamed and afraid to look upon God. The more we see of God, and his grace, and covenant love, the more cause we shall see to worship him with reverence and godly fear.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Evil for good...!

Genesis 50:20 NKJV

But as for you, you meant evil against me; but  God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it  is this day, to save many people alive.

******
† Shalom †......! Day #216. Do you know that God can change every evil plot against you into blessing and for good?  Let us pray. Father, hallowed be Your name. Your Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Deliver us from every evil. Lead us and guide us into Your path of righteousness. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Friends, various motives might cause the sons of Jacob to continue in Egypt, notwithstanding the prophetic vision Abraham had of their bondage there. Judging of Joseph from the general temper of human nature, they thought he would now avenge himself on those who hated and injured him without cause. Not being able to resist, or to flee away, they attempted to soften him by humbling themselves. They pleaded with him as the servants of Jacob's God. Joseph was much affected at seeing this complete fulfilment of his dreams. He directs them not to fear him, but to fear God; to humble themselves before the Lord, and to seek the Divine forgiveness. He assures them of his own kindness to them. See what an excellent spirit Joseph was of, and learn of him to render good for evil. He comforted them, and, to banish all their fears, he spake kindly to them. Broken spirits must be bound up and encouraged. Those we love and forgive, we must not only do well for, but speak kindly to.

Beloveds,  when things are against you, when people plot evil against you, never become frail, but stand like a man and face it. Because there's something great and big God has for you. He is able to change every evil things people has plotted against you into good. He is also able to turn back all evil plots against you to those people. He is able to cause confusion in the enemies camp. Now you, never ever repay evil for evil, but repay evil with good deeds so that by your actions,  the soul may be saved. Hallelujah 🙌. Always remember that you are called to save people, to lead them to salvation and not to destroy them. You are the revivalist. God bless you...!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

God can turn it for your good...!

Genesis 45:5, 7- 8 NKJV

But now, do not therefore be grieved or angry with yourselves because you sold me here; for God sent me before you to preserve life. And God sent me before you to preserve a posterity for you in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance. So now it  was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.

******
† Shalom †......! Day #215. Do you know that what harm man meant against you, God can turn it to be good? Let us pray. Father,  for we know that all things work for good for those who loves You and who are called by Your name.  Thank You for the blessed assurance and hope.  In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Friends, Joseph let Judah go on, and heard all he had to say. He found his brethren humbled for their sins, mindful of himself, for Judah had mentioned him twice in his speech, respectful to their father, and very tender of their brother Benjamin. Now they were ripe for the comfort he designed, by making himself known. Joseph ordered all his attendants to withdraw. Thus Christ makes himself and his loving-kindness known to his people, out of the sight and hearing of the world. Joseph shed tears of tenderness and strong affection, and with these threw off that austerity with which he had hitherto behaved toward his brethren. This represents the Divine compassion toward returning penitents. I am Joseph, your brother. This would humble them yet more for their sin in selling him, but would encourage them to hope for kind treatment.

Thus, when Christ would convince Paul, he said, I am Jesus; and when he would comfort his disciples, he said, It is I, be not afraid. When Christ manifests himself to his people, he encourages them to draw near to him with a true heart. Joseph does so, and shows them, that whatever they thought to do against him, God had brought good out of it. Sinners must grieve and be angry with themselves for their sins, though God brings good out of it, for that is no thanks to them. The agreement between all this, and the case of a sinner, on Christ's manifesting himself to his soul, is very striking. He does not, on this account, think sin a less, but a greater evil; and yet he is so armed against despair, as even to rejoice in what God hath wrought, while he trembles in thinking of the dangers and destruction from which he has escaped. Joseph promises to take care of his father and all the family. It is the duty of children, if the necessity of their parents at any time require it, to support and supply them to the utmost of their ability; this is showing piety at home, 1 Timothy 5:4. After Joseph had embraced Benjamin, he caressed them all, and then his brethren talked with him freely of all the affairs of their father's house. After the tokens of true reconciliation with the Lord Jesus, sweet communion with him follows.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Make a difference... Be different...!

Genesis 41:38 NKJV

And Pharaoh said to his servants, “Can we find such  a  one as this, a man in whom is the Spirit of God?”

******
† Shalom †......! Day #214. Do you know that others can see and recognise that there's something about you that's so different than the others? Let us pray. Father, Your Spirit is in us as we dwell in You, walk with You. Continue to lead us and guide us. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Joseph gave good advice to Pharaoh. Fair warning should always be followed by good counsel. God has in his word told us of a day of trial before us, when we shall need all the grace we can have. Now, therefore, provide accordingly. Pharaoh gave Joseph an honourable testimony. He is a man in whom the spirit of God is; and such men ought to be valued. Pharaoh puts upon Joseph marks of honour. He gave him such a name as spoke the value he had for him, Zaphnath-paaneah, a revealer of secrets. This preferment of Joseph encourages all to trust in God. Some translate Joseph's new name, the saviour of the world. The brightest glories, even of the upper world, are put upon Christ, the highest trust lodged in his hand, and all power given him, both in heaven and earth.

You have the Spirit of God in you, friends. You have the power of resurrection and life in you friends. You have the power of God in you. You are capable of making an unspeakable impact of the unlimited and unstoppable power and the Spirit of God.  You are the revivalist. You are capable of bringing a revival at where God has placed you. You can make a difference in wherever God has placed you, friends... Joseph knew that the Lord is with him and he prospered in everything which he was entrusted to do. God used him to make a difference at that time. How about you friends? God bless you!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!

Being successful in the enemies territory....!

Genesis 39:2-6 NKJV

The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. And his master saw that the Lord  was with him and that the Lord  made all he did to prosper in his hand. So Joseph found favor in his sight, and served him. Then he made him overseer of his house, and all that he had he put under his authority. So it was, from the time that he had made him overseer of his house and all that he had, that the Lord blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the Lord was on all that he had in the house and in the field. Thus he left all that he had in Joseph’s hand, and he did not know what he had except for the bread which he ate. Now Joseph was handsome in form and appearance.

******
† Shalom †......! Day #213. Do you know that even when you are at the enemies territory, God can cause you to prospore? Let us pray. Father, we thank You for Your favor and Your providence. Thank You for Your grace and mercy. Thank You for always being there for us. We love You Lord. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Friends, Our enemies may strip us of outward distinctions and ornaments; but wisdom and grace cannot be taken from us. They may separate us from friends, relatives, and country; but they cannot take from us the presence of the Lord. They may shut us from outward blessings, rob us of liberty, and confine us in dungeons; but they cannot shut us out from communion with God, from the throne of grace, or take from us the blessings of salvation.

Joseph was blessed, wonderfully blessed, even in the house where he was a slave. God's presence with us, makes all we do prosperous. Good men are the blessings of the place where they live; good servants may be so, though mean and lightly esteemed. The prosperity of the wicked is, one way or other, for the sake of the godly. Here was a wicked family blessed for the sake of one good servant in it.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
