The act of denying...!

Titus 1:16 NKJV

They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.

Shalom! Day #35. Do you know that many believers the claim to be believers, but in action they fail? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for not truly obeying You, being disobedient and denying You in every actions of our lives. Forgive us Lord. We ask that You won't take away Your grace and mercy from us that we may repent and return to You in true faith and obedience. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Many believers claim that they are born again, they know the Lord, they serving the Lord but amongst that many, there are believers who profess to know God but in word and works they deny Him. From here comes all the false teachers, prophets and servants of God. This verse reminds me of another verse from Matthew 7:22-23 NKJV Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’  And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ This is something really serious. We simply deny the lordship of Jesus Christ upon our lives. We think that we have Jesus we got power and so on, yes it is true, but when you tend to move on your own and do things on your own, then Jesus isn't involved there anymore because you want Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit but you do not want Him to be involved in anything you do.

You were saved for every good works but being abominable and disobedient towards God separates us from what we are called to do and we try to do it on our own. We may be Christians by generation, or even ten or twenty years old Christians but if we aren't living according to His word and not living by it, in that way too we are denying Him. In word and deeds,  the way we live, the way we serve, let us not deny Him. If we deny Him, He will deny us infront of our Father. If you have believed the Lord, then live and act as a believer not as a pagan. The only thing that distinguished you and other is your faith and actions. If once you have believed the Lord, continue to remain in Him, serve Him faithfully and be obedient towards God.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
