The work of the devil is to deceive us...!

II Kings 19:10-11, 16, 19 NKJV

“Thus you shall speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying: ‘Do not let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying, “Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.” Look! You have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands by utterly destroying them; and shall you be delivered? Incline Your ear, O Lord , and hear; open Your eyes, O Lord , and see; and hear the words of Sennacherib, which he has sent to reproach the living God. Now therefore, O Lord our God, I pray, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You are the Lord God, You alone.”

Shalom! Day #125. Do you know the devil is always trying his schemes to tempt and falter our faith in God by all his lies? Father, give us the strength to go through our lives to stand strong even in the midst of storm and raging seas that we may not heed to the lies of the devil but yield to Your voice and Your word. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The work of the devil is to deceive us. He has been actively involved in this business since the beginning of this world. Rabshakeh, Sennacherib's prophet, a deceiver, he is trying to deceive the prophets of God as well as Hezekiah. Even the midst of deceiving situation, inputs from false spirit, Hezekiah, remained strong and he prayed. When we go through the events of our lives, bad situations, hard situations, stormy situations, there will be always people who will try to break our faith. Their words would even make our faith to be shaken. They would even give this and that suggestions. Suggestions which lead us to make wrong decisions. But do we give in to it? Or we choose only to heed the voice of God and His word alone? Hezekiah choose to pray!

Pray! Pray! Pray! When you pray, oh when you sincerely pray, God hears and miracles happens. No matter how or what your situation is, make sure you make a decision to gain Christ in any circumstances. And you shall witness His extraordinary miracles!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
