The Lord preserves the faithful and He fully repays the proud....!

Psalms 31:23-24 NKJV

Oh, love the Lord , all you His saints! For the Lord preserves the faithful, And fully repays the proud person. Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the Lord .

Shalom! Day #224. Do you know that the Lord preserves those who are faithful and also repays those who are of prideful heart? Let's pray. Father, preserve us in Your love that we may not divert from Your truth. Guard our hearts from pride and ego that we may not even think to steal Your glory. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Faithful servants will never have the intention of parading the ministry they do nor going around boasting that "Wow brother,  my ministry is like this and like that, " and everything from A to Z you have to boast about but little do they know that they are glorifying themselves and not God. When the feeling of "MY" creeps in, pride also comes in. A sense of selfishness, self-glorification, and everything about what you did for the ministry will be made known, but you left out God from the whole picture of the ministry. As though God doesn't exist and He did not do anything in the ministry of which He has entrusted to you. I know a few of the same kind species who does this. They are the bunch of people who talk big, dream big but when it comes to the doing part, they are missing, and people below them has to do the donkeys work and at the end of the day they get the good name. Have you encountered such species before? But, the faithful servant does what has been entrusted to him, not just do for the sake of doing, but he or she will give their best in doing it. Why? Because they know that it is God who called them and gave them an opportunity to serve and God entrusted the ministry to them. It's like the story of the talents. Two came back with multiplication, the third came with the same amount given. Although it's not theirs but they take it as something that's precious to them and they gave their best to it. Now, that's a faithful servant.

As we read today's verse, it says that the Lord preserves the faithful and He fully repays to proud. Then it continues,  "Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the Lord." The proud will see their destruction whilst the faithful servants will be preserved by God. It means God will take care of them, He will bless them extraordinarily, God will strengthen their hearts, God will give them the courage and the boldness they need to do greater works for Him. Not only in serving Him, but as well as they personal life and for everything they need, God provides and supplies. God gives them a new strength to fight every battle and challenges they face everyday. Your hope in God isn't in vain. God bless you!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
