Taste and see....!

Psalms 34:8, 10, 15, 22 NKJV

Oh, taste and see that the Lord  is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing. The eyes of the Lord  are on the righteous, And His ears are  open to their cry. The Lord  redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.

Shalom! Day #225. Do you know that there's no condemnation of those who trust in Him and that they shall not lack in any good things? Let's pray. Father, we have tasted and seen Your goodness, because You do not withhold anything good from us. As we seek You, we firmly believe and trust that we will not be in lack of anything for Your love, grace and mercy sustains us. Thank You Jesus. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

People who have tasted the goodness of God, they will continue to walk in the truth of God. There's some who do not do likewise. They seek God just to receive something from Him. But the faithful believers, the remain in the Lord because they have witnessed what the Lord is able to do in every situations of their lives. Jesus is the bread of life, when you eat the bread of life, then you will know how tasty it is. When you eat a piece of fried chicken, you can know whether it's tasty or not. When you eat the words of God,  not physically eating the bible, but meditate day and night on His word, then you will see how good our God is. People who have tasted and witnessed the goodness of God are the people who trust in God. Nevertheless, there's some believers who are like "touch & go" Christians. They come to God just because there's a need and when the need is met, they are missing.

In today's verse, we see the psalmist is pouring out his heart because he has seen the goodness of God in his life. Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing. The eyes of the Lord  are on the righteous, And His ears are  open to their cry and none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned. In this last days, God is again reminding us to hold fast to the faith we have in Him. My heart really goes out to all the Christian martyrs. Not many would choose to remain faithful to the end of his breath when persecution comes. Persecution and the killing of the believers of God is taking place now, but those who have tasted the goodness of God, those who trust Him, shall see the deliverance and the salvation of God. Those who trust Him shall not be put to shame or be condemned. Be faithful and not faithless. Remain a believer and not become an unbeliever.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
