Seek the Lord and live...

Amos 5:4, 6 NKJV

For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel: “Seek Me and live; Seek the Lord and live, Lest He break out like fire in the house of Joseph, And devour it, With no one to quench it in Bethel—

Shalom! Day #251. Do you know that our source of living is from the Lord and without Him we are nothing? Let's pray.  Father, without You we are nothing for You are the source of our life. From You comes life. As we continue to seek You, let our spiritual and physical being live. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Seek Me and live. You know, the bible says in Matthew 6:33 Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and every other things pertaining to our life shall be added unto us. The kingdom of God is a Kingdom of everlasting life. As we seek His kingdom we receive abundant life from Him and His righteousness,  the truth of His Word, enables us to live. His truth sustains us. Seek Me with all your heart and you shall find me. Seeking God is not a somehow kind a thing. How do you seek then? Through His word, through worship,  through waiting and meditating. His kingdom is all about truth and righteousness. When you seek Him with all your heart, yes and for sure you will live and not die. No, it doesn't mean that you will live on earth forever, but your spirit lives forever.

When you seek Him wholeheartedly,  you shall receive the truth. And because of the truth of His word, you shall live when you take in the word, digest it and live by it. His kingdom and His truth must be established in our hearts in order for our spiritual life to prosper. Deuteronomy 4:29 NKJV But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. Psalms 119:2 NKJV Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart!

Seek Him more and you shall live!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
