He refines us...!

Zechariah 13:9 NKJV

I will bring the one –third through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them. I will say, ‘This is My people’; And each one will say, ‘The Lord  is my God.’ ”

Shalom!  Day #272. Do you know that God will bring those that He has chosen through the refining fire to refine them as gold is refined, as silver is refined? Let's pray. Father, bring us through the refining fire and refine us thoroughly that we may become precious and priceless gold and silver. Mold us and make us anew. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

I will refine you as silver is refined and test you as gold is tested, says the Lord of hosts. The more a gold and silver is refined,  the more precious and priceless it is. As He refines us, let us allow Him to burn all the dross. His word's like a fire burning in our soul, burning up the dross and bringing forth the gold out of us. When God deeply refines you, it can come with terrible pain. But it eventually causes great happiness. Refining is a process of purification and sanctification. When we understand the purification process gold must endure to have the brilliant precious metal we know so well, we start to understand the significance of many verses that may confuse a "casual Bible reader." Simply understanding the many heating and cooling cycles through which the metal passes, we can equate that to our own Christian walks.

Purification and sanctification is an essential thing in order for a believer to walk his or her Christian faith. In this verse, the Lord mentioned that we will call on His name and He shall answer us. What a privilege it is for us as a believer. But we have to pay the price 1st. Allowing God to refine us thoroughly. He will not just create a clean and pure heart, but as well as creating a new heart that's obedient to His word and His will. God answers the prayers of an obedient and a believing heart. Let us allow Him to refine us continually until we became the precious and priceless gold and silver.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
