Have you considered My servant...?

Job 1:6-12 NKJV

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord , and Satan also came among them. And the Lord said to Satan, “From where do you come?” So Satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.” Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there  is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?” So Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing? Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face!” And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person. ” So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord .

Shalom! Day #197. Do you know that the devil just waiting for an opportunity to make you to stumble and fall? Let's pray. Father, protect us from every evil schemes of the devil. Let Your hedge of protection be upon us. Lead us not into temptations but deliver us from the evil one. In Jesus name we ask and pray, Amen!

The devil knows about from the day you were born. He knows your past very well but, the Lord knew you even before you were formed in the womb and He set you apart even before you were born. He knows your past, present and future. Do you realize how precious you are even God is willing to stand by your side although He knows that you aren't perfect, aren't bold, have sinned many times?

In today's verse we see that when the sons of God came to present themselves before, amongst them came Satan. From day one untill today, the devil's main motive is to steal, kill amd destroy and he has been actively involved in this work since before the creation. So, Satan came before God and the Lord asked him, "from where do you come?" So Satan answered the Lord and said, "From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it." The devil is looking for a victim to devour. God did not purposely want to break Job but God allowed it to happen so that Job will stand strong and courageous in every situations he will face later on. But Satan also knows that Job is all well and good and did not walk away from the truth and the law of God. Job was well protected and well cared. He was extremely blessed by God. Satan knows this and he said "Does Job fear God for nothing? Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face!" Though it was a tough decision for God to allow Satan to tempt Job, yet God allowed it. Why? The answer is simple.  He knows Job will not curse God and leave the faith. One thing, no matter how the devil tempt, he has no power to touch you, unless you allow it. It doesn't matter how big or small your challenges, temptations can be, remain faithful to God. We are just His glorified servants and God will not allow us to be tempted more than what we can handle.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
