The joy of the Lord is our strength...!

Nehemiah 8:10-11 NKJV

Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” So the Levites quieted all the people, saying, “Be still, for the day is holy; do not be grieved.”

Shalom! Day #194. Do you know that though we go through many obstacles, trials and testings, the joy of the Lord is there to give us the strength we need? Let's pray. Father, we declare the joy of the Lord is our strength,  the joy of the Lord is our strength! Let Your joy fill us and strengthen us to continue to run the race You have set for each one of us. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Although everyday we face many challenges, obstacles, trials and testing, yet there's always something that moves us, that drives us, that motivates us. O the joy of the Lord is our strength! Hallelujah! Amen! How many of you agree with me? This joy is not of the world, but from God. He gives strength to the weary and broken hearted,  to those who are heavy laden (Matthew 11:28), to those who are in need of a spiritual energy boost. The joy of the Lord is our strength!

In today's verse we see how Ezra declared to the whole Israelites and he said, "Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength." Therefore people the Lord says come to Me you who are heavy laden in (Matthew 11:28). Come to God and receive a new strength for everyday. As you start your day, every morning,  seek the Lord and allow the Lord to refill you once again with a new strength for each day. Everyday has its own battle, you need His strength to face your battle for that day.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
