Examine yourselves...!

II Corinthians 13:5 NKJV

Examine yourselves as  to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.

Shalom! Day #13. Do you know that each one of us must examine ourselves first before we start to point out other people's mistakes? Let's pray. Father, our prayer is that You would search us and seek out our hearts today. Lest we be found unfaithful to You. Correct us daily as we walk with You. Let us not judge others before looking at ourselves first. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

King David is known as the man after God's heart. Why? Because he is a worshipper of God. He is quick to admit his sins and repent. King David in a few of his psalms,  stated that, "search me oh God and know my heart." He literally asking God to examine him. We must allow the Holy Spirit to daily examine us. When I say DAILY it means your precious time with God. It is in His presence, we are made whole. As we allow the Spirit of God to search us , to examine us, to mold us, then you shall see the power of God is at work in our lives. Allow the Spirit of God to examine our faith in Him. Are we still standing strong in our faith towards God or we are backsliding? Put yourselves to test. Test and see how far are you willing to trust God.  How strong your faith is. When your faith is proven, then you shall see how strong you are.

Let us not be found disqualified in the presence of God. Jesus said, "if there is anyone who is without sin, take the stone and throw first." And in another verse, "you see the specks in other people's eyes, but in our own eyes we don't see the plank." This verse isn't just to rebuke the Pharisees but as well to us. Let us not be quick to judge, but be quick to allow the Holy Spirit to daily examine us. Why we become disqualified? Because we think we are always right and there is no chance to fail or do wrong and that's why we dare to judge people. So folks, if you want to have a fruitful walk with God this year and the years to come, well, allow the Spirit of God to examine us daily.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
