You, the ambassadors of Christ...!

II Corinthians 5:18-21 NKJV

Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to  be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Shalom! Day #8. Do you know that you are the ambassadors of God on earth? Let's pray. Father, thank You for appointing us to be Your ambassadors on earth. Give us the courage and boldness to promote You to the lives of the people we see daily. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

To everyone of us is given a ministry that will never perish.  The ministry of reconciliation. To reconcile man to God. So, we being God's ambassadors are to promote Christ to people and not just promoting, but to make sure they receive Him as a Lord and Savior. Christ came to reconcile us to God, so we who have been reconciled to God,  are to be His ambassadors to introduce Jesus to all. An ambassador doesn't point out the bad thing about a certain product or about the country.  For example, the tourism department will promote about how beautiful their country is, how tasty the food is and so on. Therefore we are to let people know about His goodness, His love, His grace and mercy towards us, His salvation. There's nothing bad that I can let you know about my God, because in Him I see grace and mercy and His love and goodness.

Are you Christ's ambassadors? Are you promoting Jesus to everyone you meet? There must be a constant follow-up not just to promote but to make sure he or she believes in Him. We are the glorified ambassadors of Christ.  So joyfully share Jesus to everyone you meet.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
