What are you doing here...?

I Kings 19:11-13 NKJV

Then He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord .” And behold, the Lord  passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord , but the Lord  was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord  was not in the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord  was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice. So it was, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave. Suddenly a voice came to him, and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”

Shalom! Day #117. Do you know that people think that God is in a stone, in a tree, in here in there, but for fact the forget to listen to that still Voice that's speaking to them? Let's pray. Father, let us be sensitive is listening to Your voice instead of running here and there searching for The "image" of God Himself. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

This is a serious question the Lord is asking us today... "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" What purpose of your salvation? Is it only for you? What are doing with the calling of God upon your life? Many of want to chase God, but we always fail to listen to that still Voice speaking to us. We think God is here and God is there, yes He Is omnipresent, and where you are at, you can feel His presence and listen to His still voice speaking to us when we seek Him with all our hearts. A strong wind came, but God wasn't in it. The earthquake came and the Lord wasn't in It. Then fire came and again the Lord wasn't in it. We are mesmerized by events surrounding us and we think God Is in it and we go to see it yet we return empty handed. WHY? Because God wasn't in it! We are attracted to the things happening around us and we forget to listen to the still VOICE speaking to us and asking us this question WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?

Now Elijah was running away from Jezebel. He was hiding in the cave. And it caused God to come and look for him! We are also like that. We run away from problems  and we think it is settled. IT IS NOT! We are not cowards! Be like a man and face the problems! Be bold and fight it. Elijah was called to defeat Jezebel, but he ran away, because he was afraid that Jezebel would kill him. Your calling is important. What you have been called to do, do it. You better do it! Oh, JUST DO IT! When you run away, God knows where you are hiding. There is a quote "YOU CAN RUN, BUT YOU CANNOT HIDE." Elijah tried to run and hide but God found him and He asked him WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE, ELIJAH." Are you running away from the call of God today? It's time for you to heed the Voice of God and begin to do His will. Again, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
