You are a child with a destiny and purpose...!

I Kings 13:2-3 NKJV

Then he cried out against the altar by the word of the Lord , and said, “O altar, altar! Thus says the Lord : ‘Behold, a child, Josiah by name, shall be born to the house of David; and on you he shall sacrifice the priests of the high places who burn incense on you, and men’s bones shall be burned on you.’ ” And he gave a sign the same day, saying, “This is the sign which the Lord has spoken: Surely the altar shall split apart, and the ashes on it shall be poured out.”

Shalom! Day #114. Do you know that for every child born has a destiny and purpose to serve? Let's pray. Father, help us to see the destiny and purpose that You have for us for our lives. Lord unveil our destiny. In Jesus name we pray, amen!

The name Josiah in Hebrew means "WHOM JEHOVAH HEALS." Josiah even before he was born, the Lord has foretold about his birth and what He will do through Josiah. If you read 2 Kings 22, Josiah becomes a king when he was 8 years old and reigned for 31 years. Josiah's birth serves a destiny and purpose. Even before you were born, God has foretold about your birth in Jeremiah 1:5, 10 NKJV “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant.” This is your destiny, your purpose. To embark on this destiny is your choice. Unless and until we have understand the purpose we are here, we would still be blinded to the destiny and purpose which God has prepared ahead of us. Josiah, predestined to be the deliverer of Israel from her wicked ways. Have you known your destiny and your purpose today?

Destiny is a choice!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
