Are you ashamed of the gospel...?

Romans 1:16, 20-23 NKJV

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

Shalom! Day #352. Do you know the fact that's most of the youth in this generation find it really hard to stand for Jesus? Let's pray. Father, forgive this generation for not standing for You and not boldly witnessing You to people. Lord, we pray that You would raise up one mighty generation that would stand up boldly and would not be ashamed of the gospel. Thank You Jesus. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The gospel. The power of God. The salvation. I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it has the power to touch lives,  transform lives, change lives, impact lives. Certainly,  I am not ashamed of it, because this same gospel changed my life 14 years ago. It has the unspeakable power that works in us as you allow the Word to change you. But, sad to say, I'm saying this as a fellow believer. Many youth in this generation find it really hard to stand for Jesus. For example, in a gathering or a party, let's say there are believers and unbelievers, what happen is, when the drinks are offered to them, I'm talking about alcohol, when it's offered to them, instead of turning the offer down, they too enjoy drinking it. Their stand for the testimony of Jesus in their life is no more. Professing to be a believer, yet in action we failed!

Although they knew God, they did not glorify Him. Jesus said, "if you deny me before man, then He will deny us before the Father." In my previous posts,  I have mentioned that we are living in crucial days and that we are or may be the last generation before the second coming of Christ. And it is extremely important that we stand strong and radically proclaim the gospel. It is us who going to turn the world upside down. It is us that's going to be the history makers.  It is us who going to bring back the harvest. It is us who going to turn them away from their wicked ways. Now tell me, are you ashamed of the gospel? If you are ashamed, you won't be able to see the power of the gospel!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
