How far are you willing to trust God...?

Genesis 22.8, 11-14 NKJV

And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.” So the two of them went together. But the Angel of the Lord called to him from heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” So he said, “Here I am.” And He said, “Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.” Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him  was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son. And Abraham called the name of the place, The- Lord -Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided.”

† Shalom †......! Day #210. Do you know that your miracle is just a stone throw away? Let us pray. Father,  we believe in You and we are sure of the miracles You have for us. Let us not become weary in our faith but stand firm and hold on to Your word. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Friends,  many of us do pray sincerely for miracles, healing as well as for the manifestation of God's power, we even sometimes claim the Word of God to affirm our trust in God, but there's time when we fail to see the miracle God has provided for us. Why? Simply because we give up before the final step. Now, Abraham was a man full of faith in God. When Isaac asks about the lamb for sacrifice,  Abraham just replied "the Lord shall provide..." What a faith, he has! Abraham knew, but Isaac don't know. But Abraham hold on to God's Word.  Many of us hold on to God's Word and His promises,  yet when we go through the difficulties, all the trials and testings,  we tend to give up although we have known the truth. Hey friends,  God has not given up on you!

Maybe Abraham thought that "that's it, I have to sacrifice my own son." But you know friends,  Abraham was obedient even to the last point just before he sacrifices Isaac to God. It is written that, "But the Angel of the Lord called to him from heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” So he said, “Here I am.” And He said, “Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.” When the Angel of the Lord spoke to Abraham,  then he lifted up his eyes to the other side of the hill and saw a ram was caught in the thicket by its horns. Your miracle is just at the other side, lift up your eyes to see it.

Finally,  never give up when things does not seem to be as how you wanted it to be, continue to trust in God and always look at the bright side of what the Lord has prepared for us. See out of the box. God bless You!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
