The effective fervent prayer...!

James 5:16-17 NKJV

...The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.

Shalom! Day #29. Do you know that when a person prays with all their heart, believing for an answer from God, that prayer will be answered? Let's pray. Abba Father, as we study Your word today, Holy Spirit help us to understand the importance of prayer and the power it carries. In Jesus name we ask and pray. Amen!

Fervent prayer. What does it means? A heart that's not easily giving up on things. A heart that's diligently praying. A heart that's prays wholeheartedly. It carries much power to move God's hand to perform a miracle. Are we just praying for the sake of praying or we are seriously praying for something to happen?

Now when we see into the life of Elijah, he was just a normal human like us. But what makes a difference between him and us is, he was a praying man. In 1 Kings 17:21-22 NKJV And he stretched himself out on the child three times, and cried out to the Lord and said, “O Lord my God, I pray, let this child’s soul come back to him.” Then the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came back to him, and he revived. He prayed earnestly. And God heard the voice of Elijah. He prayed out of anguish in his heart. He prayed with all his heart. He desperately prayed and needed a miracle. God answers prayers! Prayer is a powerful weapon to fight against every attack of the devil. Prayer changes the Impossibilities into possibilities. Are you praying today?

Let this day be the day of the Lord.
