Blessed are all those who wait for Him...!

Isaiah 30:18 NKJV

Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you; And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the Lord  is a God of justice; Blessed are all those who wait for Him.

Shalom! Day #177. Do you that the Lord takes time to wait for you that He may show His grace and mercy upon you? Let's pray. Father, we thank You that You have waited patiently for us to return back to You. Now that we have returned,  help us to remain in You. Thank You for You have risen to show Your love, grace and mercy towards us. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Someone once said waiting time is never a wasted time. The time we take to wait upon the Lord is a precious time to God. Because it is in that waiting time period God begins a new work in us. He renews our strength. He revive us spiritually. He refills those who thirst and hunger for His love. In this verse we read, it says God will wait. It other words it means He is not hurry burry. He patiently works in you. Bit by bit He works in us. Removing all those things which aren't pleasing unto Him. Reshaping the characters and attitudes. Reinstating the heart of obedience,  faithfulness, servant heart. God does not work hurry burry in the lives of His chosen ones. He works patiently until it is done. It is a lifelong process.  God is able to change a person no matter how bad he or she is. He is able to change and it is a matter of time for the final product. I believe we have come across this statement many a times "GOD IS STILL WORKING IN ME." Indeed it is a true statement.  He is still working in each one of us. He that called us and has began a good work in us is faithful and will accomplish it.

Isaiah 40:31 NKJV But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Blessed are all those who wait for Him. Waiting upon the Lord means not to sit and just wait and do nothing. It means to wait in His presence. To seek Him. To listen to His voice.  To sumbit to His will. To do what He instructs us to do. So are we using the time God has taken to wait for us so that we can come to Him in total surrender and letting be in control of our lives?

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
