Do you value the call of God upon your life...?

Deuteronomy 26:16-19 NKJV

“This day the Lord your God commands you to observe these statutes and judgments; therefore you shall be careful to observe them with all your heart and with all your soul. Today you have proclaimed the Lord to be your God, and that you will walk in His ways and keep His statutes, His commandments, and His judgments, and that you will obey His voice. Also today the Lord has proclaimed you to be His special people, just as He promised you, that you should keep all His commandments, and that He will set you high above all nations which He has made, in praise, in name, and in honor, and that you may be a holy people to the Lord your God, just as He has spoken.”

Shalom! Day #122. Do you know that the Lord owns you and that you are His special people? Let's pray. Father, as we stand before You today, it is our privilege to be the chosen ones, Your special people that we may walk in Your ways and keep Your statutes,  Your commands,  Your judgments and obey Your voice. Continue to work in us that we may stand for this generation and proclaim Your salvation to them. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Again the Lord is reminding you and me that we are His special people,  called according to His holy calling to be His chosen people that would proclaim His marvelous works. We have been called by His grace to do His service to this generation. We are His special people a peculiar people called into His marvelous light from the darkest pit. Well if you read in 1 Peter 2:9 this verse is again a reminder for us. God called us not with some kind of cheap calling, but it's a precious calling.

If you value the call of God in your life, then you would do anything for the call of God. Our obedience and faithfulness towards the call of God will determine how far we would go and grow in the Lord.  Our attitude towards the call of God will determine our altitude in the Lord. When we are serious and determined in doing the call of God, "He will set you high above all nations which He has made, in praise, in name, and in honor, and that you may be a holy people to the Lord your God, just as He has spoken." Your attitude decides your altitude.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
