Just a prayer away...!

I Kings 19:4-10 NKJV

But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he prayed that he might die, and said, “It is enough! Now, Lord , take my life, for I am no better than my fathers!” Then as he lay and slept under a broom tree, suddenly an angel touched him, and said to him, “Arise and eat.” Then he looked, and there by his head was a cake baked on coals, and a jar of water. So he ate and drank, and lay down again. And the angel of the Lord came back the second time, and touched him, and said, “Arise and eat, because the journey is too great for you.” So he arose, and ate and drank; and he went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights as far as Horeb, the mountain of God. And there he went into a cave, and spent the night in that place; and behold, the word of the Lord  came to him, and He said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” So he said, “I have been very zealous for the Lord God of hosts; for the children of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, torn down Your altars, and killed Your prophets with the sword. I alone am left; and they seek to take my life.”

Shalom! Day #167. Do you know that God is able to supply everything you need, able to create the miracle you need as well as making every impossible situations possible? Let's pray. Father, we understood that the answer for every of our question, problems are just a prayer away. Therefore Lord, give Your ears to our prayers and deliver us from every forms of attacks, persecution and trials. In Jesus name we ask and pray, Amen!

Having faith means isn't about God fulfilling your desires, but instead it is about witnessing what God is able to do in every impossible situations of our life. The answers to every problems we are facing now is just a prayer away. When you pray, God hears, answers and creates a miracle. When you pray, God gives you the solution for every impossible situations of our lives. When you pray, God provides what you need in order to carry on.

In today's verse, Elijah prayed a cowards prayer that he may die because Jezebelle was after his life. But there's a twist here. God did not grant Elijah his prayer, but instead He sent an angel and the angel said “Arise and eat.” Then he looked, and there by his head was a cake baked on coals, and a jar of water. So he ate and drank, and lay down again. And the angel of the Lord came back the second time, and touched him, and said, “Arise and eat, because the journey is too great for you.” So he arose, and ate and drank; and he went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights as far as Horeb, the mountain of God." Many of us like to find an easy way out of every problems we are facing. We try to run away from the problem instead of solving it. That's the same case of Elijah. God sends an angel to replenish him, to provide food for him because the journey is too great. It means the problems which he will be facing is great and may be he might falter and give up. So, God strengthened Elijah, gave him strength to carry on. Many of us give up and try to run away from problems because we are afraid to face the outcome. If you believe that God is anle to create a miracle for you, then stay put and see the Lord's deliverance. God works not according to your desires, but creating miracles in every impossible situations of our lives.
We ran away from the problems, we think that it is solved, but God came looking for you in that problem and asks is, "what are you doing here?" God has a plan for you in that problem, but we tend to run away. When the storm came, the disciples were so worried that they might die, but Jesus was sleeping peacefully, and when the disciples woke Him up, Jesus calmed the storm first then He rebuked the disciples for their lack of faith. Never jump out of the boat, because Jesus is with you in that same boat. He can and is able to create a miracle for you if you are with Him, walking in His plans and purposes for you.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
