Agiazo Qadash....

Jude 1:1, 20-21 NKJV

......To those who are called, sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ: But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Shalom! Day#42. Do you know that God preserves our lives for a purpose? Let's pray. Father, we want to thank You once again for this day and for Your precious love which we can experience this day. Lord, build us up in the faith we have in You as we walk and live in You. In Jesus precious name we ask and pray. Amen.

The Greek word for sanctified is AGIAZO. It means to render or acknowledge, or to be venerable or hallow, to separate from profane things and dedicate to God, consecrate things to God, dedicate people to God, to purify, to cleanse externally, to purify by expiation: free from the guilt of sin, to purify internally by renewing of the soul. You who are called by God are are separated from profane things. Sanctified is separation. Being separated for the things which would hinder us from doing the things He has commanded us. QADASH or consecrate means to set apart. We are sanctified and set apart for His purpose, for one purpose! Now to remain youthful and energetic, remain in Him, for He preserves your life.

Building yourselves in the most holy faith. Peter, God might not have used him if he did not allow God to do something in him. Jesus said, "on this rock I will build my church." Now, the word building is an action word an ongoing process. God does not forcefully build us unless we allow Him to build us. As you remain in God, He continually builds you from one level to another level to the next level! How do you experience this growth? One of it is PRAYER. praying always in the Holy Spirit. Meaning to say, when you pray in the spirit, your spirit is connected to God, your Spirit is sensitive to His voice. Prayer is the vital part of a follower of Christ. And finally, abide in His love, for out of Him we are not able to do anything.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
