The Lord is not slack...

II Peter 3:9, 17-18 NKJV

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

Shalom! Day #35. Do you know that the Lord is not slack concerning His promises? Let's pray. Father in the name of Jesus we come to you today. Let us not slack in holding to Your promises as well as our promises to You. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

The promises of God concerning you are yes and amen. God is very careful when He makes a promise, lest He be found breaking it. God never break His promises. HE CANNOT GO AGAINST HIS OWN WORD! His makes His promises beautiful according to His timing, not ours. We say God did not keep His promises and we blame God for things did go as how it should be BUT DID WE TAKE TIME TO WAIT? We want it to be done according to our time, yet when God delays, we began to use our abilities to make It happen. God's delay is not denial! For example, if you are praying for a life partner and God haven't answer it yet, what you should do is, WAIT PATIENTLY! Not rushing into a dead end. We tend to advertise in facebook for example "I'm single again, any eligible singles who wants be in relationship with me, plz inbox me." What on earth is happening folks? Even the birds of the air have their food daily, God makesure that they have, what more us? We are His children and He is our hope and our source of life, we must look to Him and not our own abilities.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. When you are growing in Him, you secured! You don't have to worry. Wait patiently. The bible say in Isaiah 40:31 NKJV But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Waiting time is never a wasted time! Therefore, when you wait upon the Lord, and grow in His grace and knowledge, you stand firm in faith and never be shaken.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
