Be alert and pray always...!

Luke 21:34-36 NKJV

“But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly.  For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth.  Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

Shalom! Day #321. Do you know that if your heart is not prepared and ready in prayer and with all watchfulness, when the day of the Lord comes unexpectedly upon us, it will just pass us by? Let's pray.  Father, prepare our hearts as we wait upon Your second coming. Let us be not found in unpreparedcondition but be prepared and ready for Your coming. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Are we ready for His second coming? Yesterday, while I was reading a verse the one simple question Jesus asked His disciples was, if the Son of man comes for the second time, will He find faith? In this verse Jesus is telling us to take care of the condition of our hearts today. Let not our hearts be weighed down by the things of this world. But be alert and watchful in every situations and conditions of our life. If our hearts are filled with the things of the world, you will have a careless living, and not in tune with the move of the Holy Spirit and God.

Now the only key which is given to us in this verse is TO BE WATCHFUL AND PRAY ALWAYS that you may be counted worthy to escape all this trials and tribulations that are yet to come. But if we are entangled with the things of the world,  therefore our hearts are tied to it. Be alert and pray always, that you may be in tune wih the Holy Spirit of God and be able to stand before the son of man.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
