Be faithful in the little things...?

Luke 16:10-13 NKJV

He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.  Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?  And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own? “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”

Shalom! Day #317. Do you know that people builds their trust in us when we are faithful in the little things which they have entrusted to us? Let's pray. Father, as we come to You today, Holy Spirit teach us today to be faithful in the little things which You have entrusted to us. Give us a heart that's loyal to You alone and not mammon. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

You don't ask for respect, but you got to earn your respect. You don't ask people to trust you, but you got to earn your trust.  For example, your employer entrusted you with a small task, and you performed extraordinarily and presented the result to your employer, for sure he will begin to trust you with greater things. Why? Simply because the amount of seriousness you put in doing that task. An eye for details. This applies for those that serving either fulltime or just at church during the weekends. When God entrusted you with a small responsibility, He sees how you do it. Whether you do it carelessly or you do it with all your heart. If we aren't able to handle a small responsibility, I don't think so that God will entrust to us the bigger responsibilities. When God entrust to you His ministry, He wants to see what you do about it. If you are found wanting for riches, not faithful, don't you ever dream of God giving to you your own ministry.

You cannot serve two masters. Either you serve God, or mammon. Many who run after mammon in ministry was kicked out and stripped out of their ministry and title. God Himself will remove them because one leg serving another running after riches. So if you are serving God today, do it with all your heart and not because of getting some cheap fame and name. The one who received the little, was responsible with what he had received and went on multiplied it and gave back to the owner double of what he received. And the owner gave him more than what he has earned to the one who was found faithful and diligent. Your talents and gifts are God given therefore use it wisely with all humbleness and reverence before God. Not seeking your own glory, but to glorify Him who gave it to you. God knows how to multiply the things He has given to you. Remain faithful. Your time is coming. Your promotion is coming. Just remain faithful and do it with all seriousness and diligence.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
