Persist in prayer...!

Luke 18:1-8 NKJV

Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man.  Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’  And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man,  yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’ ” Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said.  And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them?  I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”

Shalom! Day #319. Do you know that a persistent prayer shall not go unanswered? Let's pray. Father, Your word says "ask and it shall be given unto you." Therefore we ask of You today, give us a persistent heart that will not give up in any situation and will not falter until we have our prayers answered.  In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Here we read a parable about a lady persistently kept on pressuring the judge to take her case. At first the judge do not want to, but she kept on troubling him, so he take on the case. This is the attitude we must have as the believers of Christ. Every believers are ought to pray and never to lose heart. In the book of James it is written that the prayer of a righteous man avails much. May be you have been praying for weeks, months or even years and you still haven't receive your answer yet, well do not be discouraged. God knows when to answer you and how to answer you. God never gets bored with your same prayers as long as you persist in it.

Few things we can learn from this woman.:-

1. Do not give up at all until your prayers are answered.
⊙ this lady she pushed on till she get her justice from her adversary.

2. Have the boldness and courage to come before God and to "disturb" Him with your request.
⊙ she kept on troubling the judge even in his leisure time, rest time, comfortable time, she kept on troubling him until he gets fed up and restless. You got to be bold and courageous to keep on coming to God persistently in prayer.

3. Finally, the Lord hears and will avenge for you.
⊙ Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said.  And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them?  I tell you that He will avenge them speedily.

Have faith in God. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth? If you have faith to believe in God for the answer for your prayers then you shall witness the extraordinary glory of God in your life. It doesn't matter what your situation is just hang in there, pray until something happens. Don't give up. Your miracle is on the way.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
