Be submitted to the leadership above you...!

Luke 2:48-51 NKJV

So when they saw Him, they were amazed; and His mother said to Him, “Son, why have You done this to us? Look, Your father and I have sought You anxiously.” And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”  But they did not understand the statement which He spoke to them. Then He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was subject to them, but His mother kept all these things in her heart.

Shalom! Day #308. Do you know that you need to be subjected to those above you in order for you to learn from them and for you to step into your destiny and purpose? Let's pray. Father, teach us today as we subject ourselves under You. Mold us, make us and prepare us to step into our destiny and purposes that You have for us. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

At that very young age, Jesus recognizes His call and His purposes yet it wasn't His time to have a ministry. For 30 wonderful years He was subjected to His earthly parents. Being trained as a carpenter and it was His profession, He submitted Himself to His father and mother. And at the age of 30 He began His ministry. We must learn to submit to the higher level of leadership before even we can do things on our own. The reason is, to learn from them, to be trained by them. For example Elisha, he was submitted to Elijah.  He was serving Elijah. Elisha didn't become a prophet as soon as Elijah called him. He recognizes his calling, and he was willing to learn from Elijah by serving him. And when the time comes, Elisha took over the cloak of leadership.  He became a great prophet. He step into his destiny and purpose in the right timing of God.

Your time is near people, be ready to be used by God at anytime of your age. During your training moments, it's the time for molding of our characters, recreating the inner man , renewal of our spirit and refilling of the passion of God in our hearts. Be trained and learn from the leadership above you, and on right timing God will release you into your destiny and purpose. Many young Christians are so eager to serve, nothing is wrong with it, but they get into their destiny in wrong timing and they come out of the ministry with an unsatisfied heart for not achieving what they wanted. Why? Because lack of knowledge, patience and self discipline.  I waited for 8 years to step into the fulltime ministry. God called me in 2001, but only in 2008 I came to serve fulltime. How about you? Are you rushing into the things of God with all your might or are you allowing God to direct your each step? You shall answer it for yourself.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
