Let us be not blinded...!

John 9:25, 39 NKJV

He answered and said, “Whether He is a sinner or  not I do not know. One thing I know: that though I was blind, now I see.” And Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind.”

Shalom! Day #330. Do you know that many of us as a believer are still blinded towards the things and the works of God? Let's pray. Father, open up our eyes that we may see the things which You have for us. Let us not be blinded by the things of this world but help us to see the way You see. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

I was blind, now I see. The blind man's confession. This blind man, he lived in his blindness since birth. Then one day Jesus encountered him, He had compassion on him, and He willingly healed the blind man. Many of us are like this blind man who needs an encounter with Jesus. As soon as he was encountered, he then went to the pool of siloam to wash the clay, and then he began to see and he began to testify of his miracle. He was bold enough even to the point of ridiculing the Pharisees. Another example, apostle Paul, he was a man who persecutes the church and one day Jesus encountered him and he was blind for few days, then later was restored. After that he went on preaching and teaching the gospel to every nations tongues and tribes.

We are blinded spiritually and need Jesus to encounter us once again. Many of us have grown cold towards the love of God.  The love that we had when we 1st fell in love with is no longer there. The passion towards doing the things and the works od God is no longer there. We need to repent. We need to start again. We need to be encountered by Jesus once again. We become so busy until to the point of not having the precious and quality time with God. Being busy doesn't mean that we are producing fruits. Can I tell you something as a servany of God? We can be busy in the ministry, but when we neglect to spent some quality with God, well sad to say God isn't interested in your lip service and He is not even involved in the ministry you do. We need the passion of the 1st love! Like the two examples, Paul and the blind man, when Jesus encountered them, their eyes was open and another was blinded then later was opened and they went on testifying about His miracles and works. We need to have such passion! Ask God to heal us from our spiritual blindness today!

And Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind.”

Revelation 2:4-5 NKJV
Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.  Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
