Watch therefore....!

Mark 13:35-37 NKJV

Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming—in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning—  lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping.  And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!”

Shalom!  Day #305. Do you know that many of us when our boss is not around, well we tend to relax and not to do our works but we know that our boss is on the way to the office, we rush hurry burry to do our works? Let's pray. Father, let us not be lazy and be found not watchful. Help us to cultivate a diligent heart and an excellent spirit in us. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

As I said, many of us when our boss isn't around, then we care less to do our works and just sit at our cubicle and relax. But then when someone signals to us that our boss is coming into the office, then we would be pretending as though we are doing work. God doesn't need pretenders. Watch therefore.... A loyal and faithful servant will continue to keep his masters house in good shape,  clean and neat even though his master is not around. Either in present or absent, we as believers must show a good example to the unbelievers. It doesn't matter wether you at work place or school, do not pretend to do your work when you boss is around but be faithful to your boss.

Enough of sleeping and get back to work. In Proverbs 6:9-11 NKJV says, How long will you slumber, O sluggard? When will you rise from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to sleep— So shall your poverty come on you like a prowler, And your need like an armed man. I still wonder why God created lazy bums.... No answer till today. Maybe to use them as a parable to others. A lazy bum will always find a way to get out from work. They have all the reasons to give for not to do any work. A lazy bum will talk a lot but do less. Talking is big, working is zero! Be a diligent and excellent believer and servants of God.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
