The Lord has a need of you...

Luke 19:30-31 NKJV

saying, “Go into the village opposite you, where as you enter you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat. Loose it and bring it here.  And if anyone asks you, ‘Why are you loosing it? ’ thus you shall say to him, ‘Because the Lord has need of it.’ ”

Shalom! Day #320. Do you know that there is a need and a purpose for the Lord to use you? Let's pray. Father, thank You for choosing us to be your vessels. Use us according to Your need, purpose and Your will for our lives today. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

This is a real life giving message from the bible. A colt is a young horse or to be more precise,  a baby donkey. Sometimes it makes me wonder of our Lord ways of doing things. This verse today explains the diversity of this modernized thinking of the people who are chosen by God to do His will. People thinks God only uses those who are highly educated, those who are well known in society,  those who are well versed in the theological studies an so on. But hey let me tell you something that will shake your faith and believes! God is irrespective of people. There is no partiality in God Romans 2:11. He doesn't care whether you are educated or not, whether your are wealthy or poor, whether you are well know in the society or not, whether you have piles of pHds in theological studies. He just requires a willing heart that's longing to be used by God. If you are willing and longing, then open up your heart to God today and let Him to use you! We can have tons and tons of money, highly educated, well known, yet if our attitude stinks, there is no point in us having such things. Our hearts attitude determines our altitude.

In this verse, Jesus said, "Go into the village opposite you, where as you enter you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat. Loose it and bring it here." Please take note to this verse "on which no one has ever sat." God is looking for those whose hearts that are not polluted with the things of this world. It's very hard to find, but there is a second chance for everyone. Every believers,  all those who are born again in Christ, whose heart is wholly set apart to God, God is looking for you. A new creation in Christ being set apart for His works. God is not interested in your past, but are you willing to allow Him to use you for a better future that He has planned for you? Because the Lord has a need of you! He has a need to use you. He has a purpose for you. He has a plan for you. He needs you to be in His will.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
